i feel like stella’s missing her iconic bangs that’s what’s so off
Totally. I also don't like that her hair is styled in two loose wavy pigtails. It's just not her vibe at all as far as her everyday looks are concerned.

Nothing like seeing something child you always wanted, but never existed, at exactly the wrong (broke) time.
Having to be a responsible grownup and NOT give yourself something you’ve wanted for decades is sooooo depressing! The inner child is wailing and throwing quite a tantrum.
Like couldn’t they have made this five years ago when I could actually spend $25 on happiness?

Finally started working on one of my big WIP’s again and it’s... it sure is a thing.
My writing style has changed quite a bit from the first draft, and the story is completely different, so looking back on my old stuff isn’t too helpful when looking for usable plot-points. I’ve been rewriting the first few chapters just to see how that works out, and it’s just not turning out the way I want it to. It was built off of a few scenes I can’t even fit in anymore because the story has changed so drastically.
It’s even weirder because I haven't really caught up with the fandom and what’s happening there in a while, so I’m sorta just working shit out while ignoring the screaming going on every time something else happens lol.
Writing is fun, but it’s also super frustrating. Getting my ideas on a page is so much harder than it should be.

No but like every time I think about Splinter and what he had to go through just to keep the boys alive, my heart hurts for him so badly. Is he perfect? No not at all, but none of them are and by god does he love his sons.
The fact that all of them are alive, and grew to thrive despite the circumstances surrounding them is a testament of how much Splinter loves his boys. He raised four babies following the most traumatic time of his life, all alone with nothing but the sewers to house them (to hide them.) I feel like he’s not given the credit he deserves for all he’s done.
And I get that it’s easy to hold up his flaws and faults when it comes to parenting, I myself like looking into them because flawed characters are super interesting and said flaws make them more realistic and engaging, but he tries, and again, so many others would have given up on the boys or failed along the way but Splinter didn’t.
He’s their father, for all his faults he did his damndest to make sure they survived.

It's Tintin Day again!!! 💖
Bringing back Thunderbirds' Tin-Tin Kyrano for a cute outfit swap because I love her. Her pets sure are colder, scalier and snappier than Snowy! 🐊🐶
