hiii question-- is razor from the future as in "just from the future" or is she from the future as in "could possibly know silver"?
Um this reply is messy af because there's so much stuff going on around me sorry in advance
I've been thinking about that myself. Since we don't really know what Silver's future looks like without the apocalypse, it would be easy to do some world building there and set the creation of clones during that time. Tbh I don't really have a full timeline of events planned yet. I was thinking Razor is either from Silver's time, or much later but I just haven't decided xd
I suppose they could run into each other, especially if Silver is something of a hero during his own time, but that would require a lot of world building (which I'm probably willing to do tbh skxjskdjjd)
The clones are like military/government agents, soldiers, so it's likely they would meet in a time of crisis.
But now that I think about Razor and Silver... The clones are like a horribly botched military experiment that was just... A very bad idea in pretty much everyone's eyes. They're not part of the public or anything and they live short lives and their existence is extremely controversial. I just wonder how Silver would feel about them 🤔
Ok I'm going to make a little post later that maybe is a bit more coherent xd but thank you for asking! It made me think of a lot of things :)

(( Since its the dash topic right now:
Miranda has a strict regimen of birth control that she’s been placed on and will remain on until she’s been properly married and the time has come to have heirs. Until that point, she can’t go off of it, because it’s maintained by the Merkingdom and doing so before ordained by them could be seen as potentially questionable behavior that takes the rest of her rule into question.
This is primarily for the prevention of bastards — any royal that’s caught with a bastard child, had with anyone who they are not properly wedded to, is a massive black mark on their record. Other royals highly prize the sheer blackmail potential of the existence of a bastard and would absolutely use the, intentional or accidental, weakening of another noble family’s inheriting line to their full benefit. Royals are incredibly eager to stab each other in the back, and the existence of a bastard child is practically a target painted onto their back.
This is bad enough when it’s a bastard child between two royals, but it’s far worse when it’s a bastard child between a royal and a non-royal. The more powerful the royal’s station, the lesser the non-royal, and the stronger the blackmail material, and the stronger the potential repercussions of having made a bastard.
Because of this, if a royal has a bastard, chances are that they don’t know about it. If a royal does come across the information that they have a bastard child somewhere in the world, who potentially could claim inheritance of their family line but was not claimed by said family line at their birth, then their first and immediate move will be killing said child. There’s too much at risk to let them to live, and they’ll often murder the family and community of the bastard child as well, just to make sure that their tracks are fully covered and no one finds out about this. It’s too dangerous to let them live, and it’s too dangerous to let anyone know.
Because of this, if communities discover that one of the children within them is the bastard child of a royal, well...
While there are certainly communities and families that will happily welcome a child in, even a child who was born of a royal, and will swear themselves to secrecy and promise to keep them safe — they aren’t a majority, and it’s easy to see why. A bastard child puts them all at risk, implicating all of them in the political games that royals play, and the commonfolk seldom get out ahead in these games. There are other children too, other people, other lives put at risk, all because of this single action, and they all know what the wrath of a royal looks like. They all know how painful and brutal those deaths can be, and they know entire communities have been wholly wiped off the map because of this.
Oftentimes, if a community discovers one of their members has had a bastard child of a royal, they’ll turn that member and bastard child in. Whether to the Merkingdom, or to a competing royal who is all too eager for blackmail and willing to offer protection in turn, or to the royal parent themselves — it seldom ever works out as fully intended, but it’s still better than the alternative for most of the communities who do it.
Even children between two royals who are properly married to each other that aren’t fully planned out and arranged to be born ahead of their conception aren’t immune to this backlash either. The royals take the manner of inheritance and their family lines seriously, and implicating themselves as not taking their duties seriously and having full responsibility to hold onto their title is not only dangerous for what the consequences could be, but also dangerous for how other royals will react.
The hierarchy of royals within the Merkingdom shifts constantly, and holding onto what control they have is a deadly and tricky game.

Hi Pia,
I need some advice. I've been writing a story and posting it online and it's acquired a decent amount of readers.
I have this one character who is a secondary character, not a main, but they've become very popular with my readers and I've been getting many asks on when I'll be writing a story for this character, where they are the mc.
The problem is I don't feel the same way about this side character as my readers do. In fact I don't care much for them at all which I suppose is weird? I care about my main characters obviously but this side character is like... honestly I have no idea why they've become so popular. I've been trying to see them the way my readers see them, because surely there's a reason they've become a fan favourite, but I just... can't. It's so upsetting and frustrating because I love my main characters and want to focus on them but then I feel like I'm betraying my readership because they clearly want me to write a story about this character.
And then I feel angry at myself because why the hell can't I feel the same way about a character that I myself created? What's wrong with me?? Do I just need time to sit and flesh them out more? Will it take time for them to grow on me?
Anyway I would just really appreciate your thoughts on this. Have you ever created a character that you don't hate but don't particularly love either and then that character becoming extremely popular with readers?
How do you deal with that?
Thanks for reading my rant.
Hi anon,
There's actually a very simple answer to this which is (probably) going to make my response a lot shorter than your ask (probably not given how long my responses are).
You cannot make everyone happy because you are not all the same person. That's just...normal. It's normal. You're a human person and therefore have your own likes and dislikes, and other people who are not you have their own likes and dislikes, and our job in life isn't to make sure we all share exactly the same likes and dislikes.
Therefore all you have to do when people start talking to you about this other character is just go 'that's cool that you like them so much! I don't feel the same way though.' And if people are becoming too pushy in your comments, just make an author's note like 'please stop asking me to write stuff about (second character) because I don't want to and I'm getting tired of saying so, thanks!'
That's it. Done. You can find 100 ways to put down the boundary, but the idea that there is something wrong with you simply because you have preferences, is like, nope. Nothing wrong with you, stop giving yourself a hard time for being a human being.
Like in this instance, you are just a plain ordinary human being who has preferences like the rest of us and all you need to say is 'that isn't my preference' in the way that feels natural to you.
And yes, this happens to me a lot re: some of the characters I've made, in different permutations, and I'll I say - and have said in comments, ask responses and more - is 'that's cool that you like them so much, unfortunately I just don't feel the same way.' It's happening these days when people keep asking for Augus/Gwyn and I smile and say 'you have 1.5 million words of them, please go read it or write your own.' It happened all the way back when people cared way more about Bunnymund as a protagonist than I ever did or have since. And for every single really annoying 'will you ever make one of them get pregnant and have babies' request, I lay down a boundary.
That's a normal part of life, anon. People are different to you and have likes and preferences of their own. Sometimes they'll try and persuade you to share in those likes. And sometimes you will and you'll feel inspired. But not sharing in them is completely normal.
You deal with it by having boundaries, anon, that respect your preferences. :)
Tl;dr - You are not other people. Stop trying to become other people. Stop giving yourself a hard time for not being other people. Respect what you like and dislike, and set your boundaries accordingly.
PS: You invented the character as a secondary character, that's probably why you don't feel like writing them as a primary character; as it was never their/your intention in the first place. It's normal to not feel the same way for them / about them!

SMALL UPDATE
//Ding dong, it’s me. Again. I’ll say right now that I’m incredibly behind on replies and I WILL be getting a few of them out this week, but not all of them. Being heavily pregnant, I’ve been incredibly sore, tired and drained these past few weeks... So I’ve generally reserved myself to vegging out over my couch and bed. i’M 37 weeks in, waaay more tired than the last pregnancy, and it turns out that my daughter is weighing at 8.5 pounds ALREADY, so thats why it’s been so damned difficult to even sit up for long periods of time.
For her safety and my own, I’ve been scheduled for labor induction on the 18th and will likely have this baby by the 19th-- so if my presence wasn’t already ghostly, my absence will be double prolonged. Excited and nervous as I am, it feels like horrible timing when I’ve wanted nothing more than to write and RP without overwhelming dizziness and fatigue striking at the worst times. I just... Miss yall so much. I wanna continue my fav threads and I’m being smothered by mother nature ;w; It is what it is.
THAT BEING SAID:
I’ll be ‘‘around’‘ to text over discord or tumblr DM when I can, whether it’s to say hello or discuss plots, I’m ALL for it. Just... Know that the best time to talk to me is from now to the 17th, since post-partum time is INCREDIBLY IMPORTANT and I want to bond deeply with my newborn girl. Ya’ll understand, it’s all family stuff I’m dealin’ with. Going to TRY to be a little more active despite everything said, but I’m only human. Talk to me about fluffy stuff tho, I’m always vibing for that shit.
