Hi RB. I love your ItaSaku fanfic so much. I really enjoyed Next of Kin. I was wondering if you ever considered writing a ShiSaku oneshot? I was ~inspired~ after reading NoK.

So sorry for the slow response, nonnie, I was in an accident recently (I'm recovering well!) and everything is just. Chaos now that I'm back to work. Blah.

LISTEN though, this ask makes me so happy! I had zero ShiSaku thoughts in head until Shisui started camping in my brain when I was writing NoK, and now I can't get rid of the guy. So yes, naturally I ship him with Sakura, it was unavoidable 💀 Multisaku is truly the addiction that keeps on giving, eh?

If I ever write this pairing I promise to post it! I did have some scattered threesome ideas for them as an AU side story (Shisui would have to be the one to instigate such madness) but have not yet felt the sharp tug of an actionable idea... But asks like this always get me thinking...

I'm 70k into a MadaSaku (thanks, bisnonno!thirsters! I'm cursed) and I really want to get back into it. But sometimes starting with a one shot is an easier way to get the creative juices flowing again...

I'm rambling, but I'll do my best to think shippy thoughts and see what happens! I miss writing but know I need to go easy on myself for the time being.

(why was this so hard? [That's what she said] nevermind I guess Shisui's spirit is indeed with me despite feeling otherwise lol)

My Sakura doesn't do casual hookups. She is a romantic, so strings must be firmly attached. For a long time, she thinks she's part of a love triangle with these Uchihas, until she confesses to them both one day with an apology tacked on that she can't decided and it's wrong to lead then both on. The uchihas look confused then amused and tell her not to apologize. They both like her too so she doesn't have to chose anyone. Which breaks Sakura's head completely.

So their first time a long while into them dating - Shisui being extra patient even though he'd have liked to have her and Itachi together since the first night she confessed. The idea of dating two men at once is just unbelievable to Sakura at first, so she can't handle much physical without getting emotionally overwhelmed. So hugs, cuddling, kisses, watching them pleasure each other (not awkward like she thought it'd be), them watching her pleasure herself (a lot hotter than she thought it'd be), then pleasuring one at a time, then both. They stay in that region for a while, Sakura never giving more than her hands to service them. Which is fine. They don't pressure her, although they do go farther with each other and she watches trailing her hands and kisses over them while they do.

It takes something extra to push Sakura out of her slowly expanding comfort zone. And it's probably someone almost dying.

Itachi brings Shisui to Sakura's late one night almost dead after a mission, himself about half way there as well, and Sakura realizes she doesn't have forever with her lovers. She should be with them fully, emotionally and physically, while she still has them both.

She's still very nervous the first time. She doesn't take charge like she normally might. But the men establish safe words and reassure her she can change her mind whenever she wants to.

It starts of just like they'd been intimate the times before, unhurried and this surprises Sakura. She thought maybe they'd just get on with it, but they seem determined to have her close to the edge or over before they even start. Itachi holds her, kissing her neck and whispering hot in her ear, and Shisui lays between her legs working her until Itachi has to put some real strength into keeping her from bowing off the bed. An embarrassingly short amount of time later, her release hits her like a meteor.

As she's coming down, she sees Shisui grins up to Itachi and says she's ready for him. Sakura gives him a look, surprised he's not fighting to have her first. He says cheekily he already did make her cum first and that if he took her now, there was no way he'd be able to stop himself from plowing into her full force. Itachi had more restraint, and they were easing her into it right? She notices for the first time that Shisui is indeed vibrating and she rises onto his arms. Itachi says something about wanting to see that before the night is over and Shisui gives him a kiss ending in a nip at his lower lip. Then give Sakura a kiss that validates further everything he promised. Her head is swimming so much, she doesn't notice Itachi move from behind her until Shisui pulls back and it's Itachi kissing her - not like the raging fire Shisui had been, but a simmering heat that was just as sweet. She's lowered back against Shisui's chest and she can feel his heart hammering in his chest and that vibrating quality that made him feel barely held together. Looking for some outlet, she feels Shisui's arms come around her, one reaching for her breast, one reaching to stroke Itachi. Itachi's groan into her mouth is enough to have her ready again so soon.

Itachi's does have restraint. He makes love to her sweet and slow. He lets her adjust to him while Shisui kisses and licks her neck and shoulder. Shisui is encouraging her with sweet words the whole time and before long she comes again, this time gentle and lingering as a night breeze. Itachi struggles to hold onto himself but does.

Sakura by this point feels more comfortable with herself. Comfortable enough to ask for what she wants next. She thinks she's ready to be ravaged, with a grin to Shisui, but that she wants to take Itachi with her mouth too. Shisui who would normally be jealous about that, just says something impatient and flips her quickly onto all fours. Itachi barely has time to slide under her - given a brief pause as Shisui again asks Sakura for the safe word and reminds her she can use it at any time - before Shisui is inside her setting a brutal pace. It's a different kind of feeling than being made love to, though neither is less than the other. This touchs something more primal in her that has her toes curling. She likes feeling Shisui so unrestrained.

Sakura finds she can hardly concentrate enough to slide Itachi into her mouth. She's thankful he's already so close because in her state she can hardly remember to do anything other than moan against him. Itachi asks if her can help and she concerns. His hands are in her hair a moment later, tugging light enough she could break free is she wanted, hard enough to be shy of painful. He guides her in shallow bobs over him - mindful not to make her gag.

She hears Shisui swear behind her, his hands painfully tight on her hips, and says something about how hot she looks on Itachi like that. The other sounds are so lewd it should be illegal but with them it just adds to her pleasure.

Itachi's finishes first, warning Sakura so she can pull away of she wants, but she doesn't. She's read how it feels better for men to finish in someone and wants Itachi to feel the best he possibly can. Shisui swears again at the sight and Sakura can feel him become rougher and less regular in his thrusts. Itachi slips out of her and instantly Sakura's moans fill the room. It's enough for Shisui to compliment exactly once before he bottoms out against her, pulling her back tight against him. She can feel him pulsing inside her, warmth spreading behind her navel and she can hear his breath breaking I'm irregular gasps. It's almost hotter than his words had been all night.

They collapse into a pile, spent but happy. Sakura doesn't regret a thing. In fact she wonders why she didn't do it sooner. It's only made her feel more love for both of them. Like the final wall she'd kept up had been demolished and there was nothing holding them back anymore.

All her romanticized thoughts are swatted away when Shisui makes a dirty joke that Itachi returns in his own dry way and Sakura laughs. Maybe not that much had really changed after all. They were still the goodball men she loved and nothing would change that.

There’s a lot to enjoy about this delightful oneshot, especially the character dynamics, but the thing I love the most is the cyclical nature of the narrator’s blissful ignorance, which is where so much of the god tier humor comes from!!!

If you don’t mind elaborating: can you walk us through your creative process with this piece? How did the idea come about, and how much of it came to you fully developed already? I can’t help but ask because Tuesday of Doom has always given me lightning-in-a-bottle vibes.

Hi Mittens, this is such an utter delight, I just saw your comment and ask and I’m so happy you loved Tuesday of Doom, it’s one of my favourite fics and I was particularly proud of it!

Tuesday of Doom was the product of an ItaSaku gift Exchange event. This was actually the request I received word for word:

AU, non-mass. Prompt: Sasuke woke up from a coma only to learn ItaSakuShi is a thing. He then proceeds to stumble on them being intimate multiple times during the week. He tried (and failed) to done out the thoughts of his brother, cousin, and ex-fangirl banging.

Of course, I was immediately on board, because I’m a sucker for voyeuristic Sasuke.

The idea immediately sprouted in my head, nearly fully developed, starting with the scene in which Sasuke knocks Shisui’s door and sees them through the window.

Laughing at Sasuke’s expense was incredibly self-indulgent, my idea was sort of like this: Sasuke is an incredibly arrogant man who thinks he knows and understands everything. Then there’s a moment where his worldview is shook and nothing makes sense anymore. I wanted to explore Sakura from his new perspective as a desirable woman, someone that could hold the attentions of two of the strongest, most successful men he knew.

Playing at Sasuke’s jealousy came to me in the midst of writing it. Sasuke is not just jealous Sakura has found someone better, rather, that she could hold Itachi’s attention. I wanted to use what he saw as an eye opener.

Of course the following conversation with his brother is something I greatly enjoyed writing (as I sniggered like a madwoman) and was one of the scenes that came to me spontaneously as I was writing the ending.

Tuesday of Doom was definitely one of those plots that kept sparking new ideas as I worked on it, until I was my muse’s willing victim. I let it lead me to what it deemed was its natural conclusion and when I was done I looked at this monster I created and just laughed because I couldn’t believe I created something so ridiculous.

I was done with this fic ages before the deadline (which has never happened by the way lol) and mostly sat at the edge of my seat in anticipation because I couldn’t wait until I could share it.

It’s surprisingly a very well-received fic, it made me really happy to see people enjoying it and pointing out some of my personal favourite bits. I thank god every day for that bout of inspiration xD I really reread this fic way too often and still giggle gleefully at all my favourite parts ❤️

Ahhh you’ve made my day sending me this ask, seriously. What a cutie, thank you for giving Tuesday of Doom a chance, I definitely hope you enjoy my future works too 🥰❤️

Sakura was still angry by the time they stopped for the night. She had thought running for the last four hours straight would have cooled her temper a little but it was still simmering, just waiting for any little thing to bring it back to a boil.

Both Itachi and Shisui recognized this. They tiptoed around her, taking care of the hotel arrangements while speaking as little as necessary least they say or do something to set her off. Again.

The small hotel room was utterly silent as they each set their packs down and began discarding their armor. Sakura tossed hers into a pile, each piece hitting the growing pile with a little more force than the last. Itachi and Shisui both flinched at each thump, shooting each other silent looks behind her back.

Even after she had finished, Sakura continued to stand with her back to them. Though unwilling or unable to speak, they didn’t know.

Shisui shot Itachi another silent look before slowly trying. “Sakura-”

He barely made it past the second syllable of her name before she swung around to face them, a fierce glare upon her face. “What the hell were you two thinking!”

“I can explain-”

“It is not what you think-”

Itachi and Shisui spoke over one another but Sakura wasn’t interested in explanations or excuses. Her glare deepened. “Really? You can explain to me what the hell you were thinking by trying to take on an entire platoon of Iwa ANBU?”

Both men immediately snapped their mouths shut.

When neither answered, she prompted, “Well?”

“We caught them by surprise. And one of them was injured-” Itachi began.

“We were being idiots,” Shisui interrupted before his younger cousin could say anything to set her off further. “We weren’t thinking. We’re sorry.”

They bowed their heads in unison. Sakura’s glare lasted a moment longer before she deflated. The worst of her anger fading as the fear of what-if dwindled. She breathed a quiet sigh. “You may be idiots, but you’re my idiots,” she told him softly. “And if anything were to ever happen to either of you two, I don’t…” She trailed off, not entirely sure how to finish that sentence.

They both understood. Without a word, Itachi stepped forward and pulled her against him. His strong arms a safe and comfortable weight. “It will take everything short of my last breath to keep me from coming home to you,” he murmured.

Sakura nodded against his collarbone but didn’t speak. She merely wrapped her arms around his middle, taking comfort in his solid warmth. She tried to block out all those fears that had nearly consumed her when she saw one of the nin go for his back or the one that attempted to catch Shisui off guard while he was distracted with another enemy. She had never been so thankful both Itachi and Shisui had agreed that day to train with her. Had they not, she would have never reached them in time; they would have never been standing here having this conversation as significant others.

All those fears and worries faded when Shisui came up behind her and swept a stray hair away from her neck. She didn’t react other than releasing one arm from Itachi to wrap it around Shisui. She pulled him against her, not really caring how uncomfortable the position was.

“Come on,” Shisui eventually murmured. “Let’s go shower and get some rest before we head home.”

Sakura merely nodded before she let her two boys steer her in the direction of the shower.
