this is really kind, personally i would much rather people commission me because i feel just horrible taking peoples money and not being able to give anything back but i understand also that commissions can be expensive especially rn when ik alot of other people are in a thin place

answering publicly jic anyone else hwo follows me in curious but it is both! the full title is mo dao zu shi, or the grandmaster of demonic cultivation.

it’s a chinese bl wuxia/xianxia (chinese martial arts fantasy) novel that got adapted into a comic, audio drama, animated tv show, and theres a live action tv show coming :-) the only thing thats complete is the novel, but the english fan translation isnt complete (77/119 chapters, plus porny extras). the comic, drama, and tv shows arent caught up to the main story yet. its really fucking good though i would die for wei wuxian and lan wangji and their terrible awful slow burn that made me want to tear my fucking hair out bc they dont kiss for 44 chapters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the show is really REALLY REALLY GOOD and beautiful and they did a fantastic job at adapting the story of the original within chinese content restrictions and censoring. i would absolutely recommend both the donghua and the novel, it i havent been so hooked by a story in ages.

identity politics and alienating allies is how we end up with people calling themselves q*eer as an identity because they can’t fathom just being straight and cis LGBT+ supporters. your struggles with your identity are your own of course and as a questioning person I understand that but saying “idk my identity but I’m definitely not cishet” seems misguided at best. its entirely closing off an option that you might very well be. we need to teach people that it’s okay that after all of their soul searching and self exploration and going through dozens of labels that it’s fine to realize that they weren’t LGBT+ after all. Like it’s fine. sometimes we end up back where we started because we realized it was where we belonged all along.
