KITTENS!!!! they're all so cute :') and I'm so glad that Bub and Willowsplash have the opportunity to be parents, i think they're going to be fantastic at it.

yes, Frogkit is (vaguely) intended to be reincarnated Lee. i went with Frog instead of Leaping, just because neither Jaycall or Beefreckle was close enough with Lee that they'd name one of their kids after him, so the Frog thing is just an accident. he does have vitiligo, and is the first Fallenclan cat to have it!!! you'll have to be patient with me while i figure out exactly how i want to draw it. he's actually a much darker color as a 1 month old for some reason??? i was under the impression that they get More White not the other way around. idk, i'm just gonna use the little dude's sprite as a reference for how much white to give him as time goes on.

and yes, Spiderkit is named after Spiderclaw. Beefreckle wants to honor his brother's memory, i think.

“And?” I try not to snarl.

He blinks. “I assumed it was Jay.”

“Some idiot catcalled me.”

“Brave of them,” he says, his face as bland as his tone.

“Bite me. Point is, I told them not to.” The god inside me makes soft, happy noises; it enjoys such displays of terror.

“And Jay, of course, did not understand.”

“Well. He turned into a cat, for one thing, and asked to be jaycalled because he figured it would be an adventure. I believe he’s now convinced I hate people who like cats.”

“Which doesn’t explain the sirens.”

“I may have terrified two asshats into running half a block and kicked a JayCat across a street.”

The wandering magician sighs. “Charlie.”

“You’re welcome to find Jay and explain it. In depth.”

“No. You did this you, you own it.”

“Jay –.”

“Is from Outside the universe, Charlie. He is not human. It is hardly his fault you keep expecting hin to see things as humans do.”

“I hate you some days.”

“I know.” He sips his tea.

I pour mine into a thermos and head back outside to find Jay.

but YEAH little reveal time. Honeykit has the Ghost Sense skill! i think for her it's just not a big deal at all--some cats are ghosts, some cats aren't, and that's that. probably after she figured out she was the only one who could see the ghosts, she doesn't tell anyone about them, but that doesn't mean she doesn't like to spend time with her grandparents regardless. if grandma can't talk, getting grandpa to talk about her is the next best thing

who is the best hunter/fighter/runner/etc in Fallenclan?

good question! you could always just go by traits, but since some cats have equal levels of skill, I'll take a little creative liberty

the best hunter is Skyfrost (closely followed by Newtscar), the best fighter is Mothspots (closely followed by Hailcrash), the best runner is Sleepycloud (ironic), and the best healer is Silverbelly! technically Hopethistle would be the best healer, since she has the Fantastic Healer skill and Silver doesn't, but Silver has been a med cat for. So much longer. i think logically she would be the better healer. though i do think Hope is better with the emotional side of things--comforting patients and the like. poor Silverbelly is cursed with Foot In Mouth disease. or paw in mouth disease i guess.
