Five golden rings for today's #jeweladvent20fivegoldrings hosted by @bethbjeweled 💛 This has to be my favourite theme because when it comes to gold bands, I would love to keep all that come my way. To help curb this obsession, I have a few rules in place. 1) If there's an indication of anything "CAT", it goes into personal collection. Perfect example: Rose gold cigar band with "MEW" inscribed. 2) I'll keep those that I feel strongly about in my personal collection stash and if I still feel the same way after about 3 days or more, it becomes permanent. Don't ask me why but some do have this force tugging at you. I learnt the hard way when I sold a curb link ring that I loved and thankfully it was a tad too loose for the buyer and came back home to me 😭 I was very close to sending the buyer a note that if she ever thought of selling it, I would buy it back... Next thing I know she sends me a message and asked if she could return the ring (!!!) 😱 #jewelryfate 3) Ask my husband for his opinion. He would usually say, it's beautiful but it's not "you". Says it too many times, IMO. So those are the rules. First and last ring are personal collection. The rest are available via link in bio.
