Dark Chaos Theory prediction:

Darius is going to go try to save Brooklynn, or meet her. Obviously, she gets attacked by the Allosaurus--not sure if he sees a live feed, or finds the recording later. Either way, he starts tracking her phone to see if he can find her, hoping she escaped.

Then he sees her phone moving.

Closer, closer it comes. Right down the road, straight toward them, she's in the truck that's coming toward them! Brooklynn's in--

...and that's the Wham moment.

A little dark.

But...only if you think she's dead and didn't just lose an arm. Or the phone.

i think the people making the jurassic world movies really missed the point of the original movies. they just showed up to make monster movies. except they got which characters are the monsters wrong. it was never the dinosaurs the same way it was never Dr. Frankenstein’s “monster.” the dinos didn’t ask to be created. they’re just animals. the point was that science fucked up. the whole entire point was baldly stated right there in the first movie: “your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.”

the iRex was a monster intrinsically. she wasn’t just an animal. she didn’t act like an animal, she acted like a monster. the indoraptor wasn’t an animal, it was a monster, just out to kill and destroy for no reason. even in the 3rd one, therizinosaurus - an herbivore, for the record - just straight up murders some deer standing in its way and then actively tries to hunt down claire for no reason. pyroraptor appears just to be scary and swim around looking cool but just generally being a monster. giganotosaurus was just there to fight the trex and the therizinosaurus and die because they couldn’t kill a trex after she survived this long.

the creators of jurassic world just wanted to make monster movies, and that’s valid. they just didn’t really understand who the monsters were.

not gonna lie, when blue came back to look at owen and say goodbye for one last time, i lowkey started to tear up. say what you want about jurassic world dominion but it was a perfect way to tie the series up and end it in a satisfying yet still open ended way.
