fun question for you: at what point did it hit for you that you liked/enjoyed fandaniel as a character. what was the moment that made it “click”?

shb patch 5.3. as it goes, the bigger the clownery, the deeper the trauma. i knew he was gonna fuck me up, i just wasn't expecting it to be this bad LMAO

i was suspicious when he first appeared in 5.2 because i instantly recognized the body as asahi's and that set off my fight or flight because milk boy (arthur fist) and we had to wait another patch before he properly introduced himself, but when a character introduces themselves with that much theatricality, it's hard not to love them, regardless of what meat suit they're wearing. 😔

he's... also fairly in line with a lot of my usual go-to character archetypes. y'know, if they were a villain who succumbed to despair and nihilism. seiya, beat, chat noir — even souji and rapunzel, in their own ways. it's the over the top drama, the goofiness, the softness (represented by hermes, in fandaniel's case), and of course the deep rooted trauma.

his jaw ache with the forced proximity of his clenched teeth and he closes his eyes to mask the stress headache that pools at the center of his forehead , matching in line with the crinkle atop his nose .
