"God seems to have left the receiver off the hook and time is running out."

Timeline:

Age 0:

Is born to two unknown people in Tokyo, Japan.

She has little memories of her time with them.

Age 4:

She is, for some reason, placed in foster care by her parents with no explanation.

She begins to dislike the foster care system because of the children, who make fun of and bully her, and the adults, who consider her a nuisance.

She finds that she likes things a certain way, and likes counting things by '10'.

Age 5:

She is adopted by another couple, who wants a daughter for their estranged son, Chihiro.

Though she tries to appear friendly to her new older brother, he ignores her and verbally abuses her when their parents aren't around.

Though the daughter tries to tell her parents, they assume she is joking and don't believe her.

Chihiro's abuse towards her starts to turn physical.

The daughter finds it easier to stay out of his way.

Age 6:

One day, she loses it and beats her brother to an inch of her life, leaving him badly disfigured.

She is sent back to foster care by her ex-parents, who are now scared of her.

She spends her time in solitary, being kept away from other kids.

Age 7:

She is once again adopted; this time, by a single parent, Uehashi Torajiro.

He is, in fact, a criminal involved in sex and slave trafficking.

She gets punished for the smallest of infractions.

She learns to be quiet and do as she's told, less she gets punished.

Unfortunately, she gets punished even when she has done nothing wrong, as Torajiro is a sadist.

She is frequently locked up in a dark room with only a red lightbulb as a light source.

She begins to love the color 'red'.

Age 9:

Eventually, the police get an anonymous tip about the girl's father.

They make a raid on his house, and he is killed in the process.

The blood splatter reminds the girl of all of the abuse she has suffered, thus far.

She loses her mind and attacks the police as they are trying to help her.

She is given a sedative, which instantly knocks her out.

She is sent to a psychiatrist to elevate her for any mental defects.

She is, unfortunately, sent back to the foster care system.

She beats up an older boy who was bothering and was wearing a red shirt.

She is, again, put in solitary, away from the other kids.

Her 'dislike' for the foster care system turns into a 'hatred'.

Age 10:

After a year of psychiatric treatment, she is deemed stable and is allowed to be put up for adoption again.

She is adopted once more by a couple who, unfortunately, cannot have children.

She instinctively doesn't trust them, due to not having good memories of foster families.

The couple proves themselves to be nice and trustworthy, though the girl still doesn't fully accept them.

Due to previous trauma, she tries to flirt and "please" her father.

She is later instructed that that is not appropriate behavior, and that she shouldn't do that.

Age 11:

After a year of staying with them, she begins to open up and trust them a bit.

For the first time in a long time, she is happy.

Age 12:

She calls the couple 'mom' and 'dad', accepting them as parents.

Her mother frequently plants flowers and gardens around the house. The young girl finds them pretty and calming.

Age 14:

Despite being homeschooled for most of her life, she is deemed smart enough to start high school.

Her parents are tragically killed one day while they are in a government building.

The perpetrators behind the bombing call themselves "Scorpion Den".

The girl spots one of the members fleeing the scene, burning her face into her mind.

The girl refuses to go back to foster care; instead, she makes a living on the streets.

She is frequently beaten and hurt for stealing and shoplifting.

Age 15:

One day, she is about to be beaten and abused by a bunch of older kids.

Before they can do anything, she is suddenly saved by a mysterious boy with a 'wolf-like' appearance, who kills the kids.

He looks back at her, throws her some money, and then walks off.

She falls in love with the boy at first sight and wants to know more about him.

Later, she is approached by a strange priest who offers her home and food.

She is initially suspicious but is won over by his kind words and appearance.

He introduces himself as 'Masa Judice' and asks if she wishes to be his daughter.

She doesn't answer right away, but Masa allows her to stay for as long as she wants in his church.

After a week, she agrees to be his daughter.

The priest begins molding her mind, turning her into a corrupt and remorseless killer.

Age 16:

After months of training and molding her, he pits her against some other street kids.

She effortlessly kills them all, which makes Masa name her the leader of his gang, "The Crossroads."

She names herself "Juu" because it means '10', which she loves.

While on a job, she comes across the boy who previously saved her. She learns his name is 'Max'.

As she approaches him, she spots him staring at a girl whom Juu immediately recognizes: the girl who killed her parents two years ago.

Doing research, she learns her name is "Sumire Shinomiya".

She swears revenge against Sumire and her group, "Scorpion Den".

She meets her father's partner, Eiji Noguchi, whom is slightly afraid of her.

Age 17:

Present.

She actively works with "The Crossroads" to disrupt any operation Scorpion Den is working on.

She meets her father's other teammate, Oki Teagan, whom, for some reason, she admires. She dubs him her "big brother".

Her father makes plans to join the Division Rap Battle Tournament.

She does research on the tournament and on the HypMics.

She kills a thug who has an illegal HypMic.

She has Ippei Fujimoto, a.k.a. "The Scientist", try to create a genuine HypMic from the Illegal HypMic.

She secretly joins the Ginza Division rap battle team, Last Judgment, alongside Masa Judice, Eiji Noguchi, and Oki Teagan.

Introduction

Juu Judice is the adoptive daughter of Masa Judice, the head priest of Eden no He Machi, and the leader of the Ginza Division team, Last Judgment. A high school student in her final year, this young woman shows herself off as being a pleasant and friendly person. Unknown to a select few, however, behind her nice and kind-hearted smile, this young woman is actually remorseless and has no qualms about spilling blood or taking a life if the situation calls for it.

Juu is a young 17-year-old girl with both average height and weight. She has darkish-blue hair that is in ponytails going down to her lower neck. Her eyes are often closed like Sasara Nurude, and only open when she is "excited". When they are open, her eyes reveal that they are brown with a "cross-shaped" iris in both. She also seems to have a permanent blush on both of her cheeks.

When she is at school, she often wears a typical school uniform: a short-sleeved white sailor shirt with a black ribbon and light blue and black trims, a bluish-black skirt, some long white socks, and a pair of black Mary Jane shoes. Also, for some reason, she wears a crown of beautiful flowers of different shapes, sizes, and colors around her head.

When she is out hunting, she changes into a dress that is akin to a maid's uniform. That is brownish-white and light blue with a large matching-colored ribbon around her neck. Her shoes and socks remain the same as the ones she wears for her school uniform. She also still wears her crown of flowers.

Personality

As stated, on the exterior, Juu is described to be a person who is very soft-spoken and gentle towards the people she meets. She is depicted as being reliable, charming, and altruistic. She possesses a "go with the flow" attitude as she accepts most situations without protest or complaints, although she does openly voice her dislike of boring situations. Despite this, she boasts tremendous popularity among the students in her class and year, making her one of the most well-liked in the entire school.

Her true self, however, is someone who harbors a much darker personality, as she is described to be "a devil with a kind face" by Oki Teagan, one of her father's teammates. Though she doesn’t like resorting to physical violence, she is not above using it as a last resort. In fact, she oftentimes wishes that her adversaries push her to the point because it gives her an excuse to hurt them, only stopping when they beg her for mercy. She is very sadistic, taking pleasure in others' pain and suffering, claiming that makes her want to laugh and cry at the same time. She enjoys the sight of blood, especially when it spurts out of her victims after she kills them. She also gets overly excited whenever she sees the color 'red'.

As stated, she is quite popular among her peers. In the eyes of them, Juu is considered to be someone who stands out from the rest, and that no one has ever seen her lose her composure. She may come off as egotistical and arrogant towards onlookers, however, this is also a frequent use of one of her tactics to establish control over the minds of those she has chosen. She also holds grudges but doesn’t exhibit them on the outside.

In contrast to her behavior at school and when she is hunting, Juu's usual behavior is fairly innocent, almost like a child's. She is sometimes seen singing her own version of children's nursery rhymes or frolicking around freely with absolutely no care in the world. Both Masa and Chimaki believe this is her way of suppressing the childhood trauma that she was inflicted with, or because she was never fully allowed to experience childhood as one.

Only a few things are capable of making Juu lose her composure and immediately revert to her "killing" state. The first is any mention of her biological parents, whom she utterly despises and detests to her core. The second is anyone who dares to insult her current father, Masa, whom she is utterly devoted and loyal to, and views as her actual father, more so than the ones she had in the past. Lastly, any mention of her eternal enemies, Scorpion Den; more specifically, the de facto leader of the group, Sumire Shinomiya, whom Juu has sworn to punish and kill.

Trivia

She has been in and out of foster care for almost her entire life. The reasons behind her leaving and then re-entering are unknown, as all of the files on her have mysteriously disappeared. She despises the system, for some reason.

'Juu Judice' is not her actual biological name. It is unknown what she was previously called, as she adopted a new name each time she was adopted, and her biological name cannot be located. Masa gave her his family name and then told her to choose a name that she was comfortable with. She chose the name 'Juu' because she loves the number '10'.

October 10th is not her actual birthdate but is the date that she chose as her birthday because it is the 10th day of the 10th month of the year, incorporating her love for the number '10'.

She has been diagnosed with OCD and Bipolar Disorder.

She finds flowers and gardens are the only things that can successfully calm her down in times of stress, which is why she wears a flower crown.

She is extremely fascinated with Max Soukoku of Kobe, which is another reason for her to hate Sumire, as Juu knows Max is interested in her, and believes that she is trying to keep her and Max apart.

The Crossroads

Several years after the tragic death of his younger sister, the Catholic priest, Masa Judice, realized that no matter how hard he preached, no matter how many sins he absolved, no matter how hard he worked to teach his flock the right way, things still didn't improve. After weeks of meditation and praying, Masa realized that the only way for these fools to understand what awaited them if they continued down their wicked path, was to show them firsthand. And if words couldn't convince them, he'd have to resort to more... extreme measures.

Gathering many able men and women of all shapes and ages, he put together a secret group of individuals who obeyed him, and only him. And he had only one mission for them: to find and bring forth those lost sheep who were stumbling around in the darkness into the light.

Bio: After usurping power from the former priest of his church, this cunning Catholic priest created a secret gang hellbent on bringing the Word of God down on those foolish infidels who refused to listen. And if they still refused to adhere to God's law, then he'd personally see them absolved of their sins, one way or another.

Full Name: Juu Judice

Bio: The adopted daughter of Masa. He found her out on the street whilst walking around Ginza. After a failed attempt at robbing him, he brought her back to the church and fed her, telling her she'd never go hungry again if she joined his flock. She agreed, and the Catholic priest began molding her into a sadistic, merciless killer who obeys Masa's word to the law. She has an intense hatred and loathing for Sumire Shinomiya of Shinagawa. She hates her for not only stealing away the attention of Max Soukoku (whom she has sworn her undying love for) but also because she blames her and Scorpion Den for the death of her biological parents after they accidentally bombed a government building, with her parents inside.

Full Name: Kahori Maeda

Age: 24

Position: Caretaker

Bio: For as long as she can remember, Kahori has always been fascinated by cats. It eventually got to the point where she ended up believing that she was one! Unfortunately, this sort of behavior got her locked up in a mental institution. Fortunately for her, Masa heard of her situation and got the prison to release her under his custody. After giving her a place in the church with a nice comfy armchair, next to a lovely warm fireplace, as well as some animatronic cat ears and paws created by the Scientist, Kahori has sworn her undivided loyalty to The Father and will tear into anyone who dares go against him, not forgetting to self-mutilate for any ousted intruder...

"Father Masa gave me a home. He gave me a cozy spot by a fire where I can sleep all day if I want. He gives me all the fish I can eat. And when I do a good job, he even gives me pats on the head! This church is Father Masa's home, and it's my home too! I won't let you or anyone else take it from me! Nyan!!!" - Kahori Maeda

4. "Cassiopeia"

Full Name: Tora Yamaji

Age: 18

Position: Member

Bio: The illegitimate child of a rich nobleman and a poor woman, Tora was forced to wear a mask for most of her life under her father's orders so no one would find out about his infidelity. Her mother ceded her parental rights, allowing Tora to live with her father. However, she was frequently insulted and told that she was "ugly beyond repair" daily by her father and her peers, causing her to develop low self-esteem.

Masa, having heard of her, had Juu bring her to him and had her mask removed. With his gift for words, he convinced her that it was not she that was ugly, but this rotten world, that couldn't see the true beauty she possessed. After a week of this, Tora pledged her loyalty to The Father and made the decision to join the Church, along with her mother. A year later, she and her mother inherited her father's estate. According to the rumors, he mysteriously died in his bed...

"Tell me something... do you know what love is? ...No? For a long time, I didn't know what it was either. I didn't even know it existed. ...That is, until I met someone. He made me realize something... all the money and power in the world, it's meaningless. My father had both, but he was quite possibly the ugliest person I ever had the displeasure of knowing. Good looks and such, that's not what's important. All that matters in this life is what's in here, in my chest, the only incorruptible place. Ugly I may be on the outside, but on the inside, I am the most beautiful person to ever walk the Earth! I am Cassiopeia!"

Bio: Blood... blood is what drives Chimaki. Ever since she was young, this curious woman has always wanted to know how things move and work. A former assistant of Ritsuko Okada's, she was expelled from Chuohku and locked up after she tried to cut open her former mentor, fascinated with her cool and cold nature. Fortunately, she was released from the asylum due to a lack of space and because she wasn’t considered a flight risk. Oh, if only those poor fools realized that a certain Catholic priest had made her a deal to join his gang, where she'd be able to benefit from the services of Juu and the Bros...

"Let's see... a trim of the shears here, a blow with the hammer there, and... there! Perfect! ...Oh, stop screaming, you baby! I'm only taking out some of your blood! Be glad it's joining my collection! ...And it's such an excellent color too. At the hospital, I had trouble getting these sorts of things off victims. People would start questioning if one of the patients was suddenly missing one of their toes. But thanks to Father Masa, I get to study and experiment all I want with no repercussions!"

"And hey, be glad I'm the one you're dealing with now. You don't want to know what would happen if Juu got her hands on you. Ha, I swear that child could teach me a thing or two about torture... Now stop screaming already! It's annoying me! Hmm... maybe I'd better sew up your vocal cords. It's not like you'll be needing them anymore, anyway." - Chimaki Nakagawa

6. "The Bros (I and Am)"

Name: Manobu Kita and Kuri Kita

Age: 21 and 16

Position: Member/Church Boy

Bio: These two brothers have been through the best and worst of times together. Growing up in a broken home with their drunk and abusive mother, the two only had themselves to rely on. Having enough, the two ran away from home and developed scams to make ends meet. Kuri would often pose as an innocent child to get victims to lower their defenses, while Manobu would then rob them afterward. Eventually, the law caught up to them both, and they were both charged.

However, before they could be sent away, Masa persuaded the police to release them under his custody. Offering them a home and food in exchange for their services, the brothers agreed. Kuri now serves as a young church boy, while Manobu works with the gang. Though they don't fully believe in much of what The Father preaches, they figure this is better than going back home to their mother.

"You know the drill, chump. Empty out your pockets, and we'll let you go!"

"If I was you, I'd listen to my brother, pal. I know I look scary, but trust me, you don't want to see him when he gets mad. You may think of us as nothing more than petty thugs, but we're good folk, we are! Our hands to God!"

"Yeah! It's just... well, hard times have a way of turning even the most decent folk bad, ya' know? It's not our fault we were born into a house with a good-for-nothing drunk as a mom."

"True that. If not for Father Masa, who knows where we'd be right now..."

"...Hey bro, this is all this guy has on him!"

"...Seriously?! That's all you've got?! *sighs* Well then, about that promise my brother and I made about not hurting you..." - Manobu and Kuri Kita

7. "The Scientist"

Name: Ippei Fujimoto

Age: 35

Position: Inventor/Torturer

Bio: Believe it or not, this young man actually did not plan to join Masa's church or gang. Unlike most members of the Crossroads, he was born into a good family, had a good education, and was blessed with a good job as an electrician. Unfortunately, messing around with dodgy equipment was bound to end badly. One evening, while working in his workshop on a blown-out, old speaker, Ippei got the kind of electric shock that could plunge half a city into darkness. And though it blinded him in his right eye, it gave him an epiphany. And he now has such an in-depth understanding of electricity that he sees himself as the god of thunder and lightning!

Wanting at all costs to be able to send out electric shocks to his critics, he applied to The Crossroads, offering his technical know-how to find a way to make his dreams come true via the shortest possible circuit.

"No, no, no! The charge still isn't high enough! Damn it, maybe I should have listened to Chimaki and waited for a thunderstorm to try this out. These defibrillators need a bit more work it seems. ...Oh well, trial and error, that's all it is. Thanks for your help, pal! A shame you got burnt to a toast, but your contributions will be remembered! ...At least until Father Masa finds me another poor soul I can use these on." - Ippei Fujimoto

"The famous musician, if I'm not mistaken. ...I'll be honest, I know little to nothing about this man, save for the fact that his good looks have a rather... diverse effect on some of the young women here in Ginza. Even Juu seems to have a thing for his music. I allow her to play it, so long as she doesn't go entirely overboard with it. Some of his songs... they have a rather "possessive" manner and feel to them. I'll admit, I'm a bit intrigued to know what possessed him to create those songs. But such feelings are fleeting. Beyond that, he is beyond my interest."

"Ah... now this child is perhaps the most worthy of this team. Beyond the fact that my daughter Juu seems to be enamored, which doesn't exactly sit well with me, I must admit I find his mannerisms and behavior to be quite... interesting. What's more, according to Juu, he seems to be affiliated with "The Commission", which only increases my interest in him. Perhaps, I should have Juu go and make contact with him. I'd like very much to meet the leader of such a group in hopes of striking up an alliance, or at the very least, a way to ensure we are not hostile towards each other."

"Argh, this... child is perhaps the only one from this team whom I have an issue with. It is already sad that he chooses to dress in a way that is condescending to his sex and nature, but to have no shame and to try to encourage others to do the same? It is disgusting. He strikes me as no better than the leader of those heathens over in Kyoto. He should endeavor to stay as far away from my church as possible. I won't be held responsible if something happens to him. I know Tora and Chimaki would love to get their hands on him..."

"Aside from that cross-dressing, offensive excuse for a male, I've no issues with this team. As stated, I should send Juu out to make contact with the boy known as 'Max'. It should..."

Masa stops as he looks at Juu, smiling while plucking some petals off of a daisy.

"He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me, he loves me not. He loves me..."

Masa sighs. "Perhaps I should do that sooner rather than later... for my own sake."

Ginza Division 💀

Last Judgment is Ginza Division's representative rap group, consisting of: formerly acclaimed rapper, Oki Teagan, self-made billionaire, Eiji Noguchi, and infamous preacher and Division Leader, Masa Judice.

Their team color is gold, as it signifies the team's wealth, fame, and their desire for victory.

The group's symbol is that of a skull. It signifies death, as well as the fact that it coincides with the group's name, as one must be dead before being judged by God, Charon, or whoever. It also signifies that no matter what a person's role is in life, all must meet Death one day and be prepared to be judged.

Each member has a skull somewhere on their person: Masa has a skull bracelet on his left wrist, Masa has a charm of a skull on the collar of his suit jacket, and Oki has a tattoo of a skull on the back of his neck.

The group's hand sign in Rhyme Anima is simply them using the index finger on their free hand and touching their forehead with it, which signifies their skull.

The group, formed under the leadership of Masa, has joined the D.R.B. for their own reasons. It's unknown if they like or even trust each other, but all three men have agreed to work together to win this D.R.B. in order to achieve their goals.

Relationship: Family - Masa Judice

Serban Judice † - Masa's father. He was a businessman, who, on the surface, seemed like a dedicated person and a good family man. In private, however, he physically and mentally abused his wife. When Masa was in high school, he was killed by his wife in self-defense, which started Masa on his slow downward spiral.

Setsuka Judice (67 Years Old) - Masa's mother. She was a very kind and caring woman, but had a tendency to acquiesce to other people's wishes because she hated confrontation and violence. This made it easy for her husband to abuse her, which forced her to kill him in self-defense. As a result, this left her scarred, depressed, and she hated herself for it ever since that day. She then blamed herself for it and rejected reality, even though many people tried to help her.

One night, Masa snapped and forced his mom to face reality and admit that she killed her husband. This caused her to commit attempted suicide by slitting her wrist. When Masa tried to stop her, she stabbed herself in her right eye, ruining her vision. She was soon admitted to a mental hospital where she has remained catatonic ever since. Masa visited her for a while, at first. But soon, he decided to stop as he refused to waste any more of his time with a woman who couldn't face the truth.

Mitsuko Judice † - Masa's younger sister, and his light in the world. She was a cheerful young girl who always seemed to smile, no matter how bleak things got and how bad the outlook was. Her positivity rubbed off on Masa, who tried to reciprocate her attitude. And for a while, it worked. It wasn't until she was raped and murdered that Masa's outlook changed and he fell into a deep, dark hole that he has yet to climb out of. Now, he is dedicated to finding and punishing all infidels for the sake of his sister, who was far too good for this wretched world.

Juu Judice (17 Years Old) - Masa's daughter, whom he adopted after finding her on the streets. Pitting her against another group of kids whom he "adopted", he wasn't at all surprised to see her emerge victorious. Molding her and corrupting her mind, he slowly turned her into a remorseless and sadistic killer who loves to play and torture her victims before killing them. She is second-in-command of Masa's gang, "The Crossroads", and answers directly to him. Her name is the number '10' in Japanese and is her favorite number, because she always gives her victims 10 seconds to run before she hunts them down.
