RUTHERFORD FIGHT CLUB 2022:

Location: The Underground, Hackney. Hosts: Adriana Amaro. (And Lara Rutherford, as they’ll find out later.) Date: Saturday, September 3rd (canon) but role playing will start Friday. Dress Code: Black tie preferable. Black and white attire only.

ATTENDANCE:

Everyone should be able to attend one of the parties, but make sure your choice is the one you really want, because said choice will be final. Once the doors to fight club are closed, they don’t open again until the fights are complete. (Except for one exception this year, but that’ll be touched on later.) If you’re not friends with Adriana, or a Rutherford, don’t panic. Just about anybody can get in as a plus one as long as they’re vouched for by someone else. So, if you’re affiliated with anyone in the mob, particularly somebody fighting, then you’re fine and it makes sense. Have fun.

ADDITIONAL NOTES AND INFORMATION:

Fight Club is always a little hectic, and I get busy, so please do bear these things in mind before asking any questions about what is to come: 

Your characters do not know who they are matched with until they enter the Fight Club and see the list. Feel free to post how they would react to finding out their opponents, because it will be the first time they know.

All the rules for Fight Club can be found HERE. Please refresh your memory before taking part. Also be sure to follow The Underground page to keep updated on what’s going on, and to find all the fights and reactions in one place.

Also refresh your memory of the VENUE layout for descriptive purposes. 

I cannot stress it enough, despite the fact it’s in the rules listed above, but just to remind TWICE, there are no phones. You will not be able to contact people outside of the fight. You will not be able to message people in the club. You will not be able to find out what’s going on outside of the event until you leave.

It will not be common knowledge Lara is in attendance until she makes her appearance on the balcony. For all intents and purposes, none of you know until I post that mini-para of her arrival. Unless you’re family, obviously. Or her date.

I will let you know when to post your fights if you’re a part of one. The first fight will be posted Saturday evening, and we will go from there. Until then, feel free to post starters mingling and socially interacting in the club. We can enjoy a little social drama before all the bleeding starts, huh? 

Role playing will begin as soon as either I post the admin note, or Kara, Alexa or Mina makes it common knowledge in the group chat. At this point, all other threads will be postponed in favour of event related ones. Keep your eyes peeled.

Rewatched 164 episodes of Kara Para Ask and just wanted to say Omer and Elif are the best, most iconic, with the best chemistry, with actors that were professional and earned my respect for it, with the biggest amount of scenes, with writers that wanted us to experience without a question destined love and well... the best and more heartfelt and just better love story I ever watched. Simply the best and I don't think the second place is even close to them.

El propósito de este blog es poder ayudar a luchar contra el reciente cáncer detectado en Naku, el querido gatito de mi amiga Hoshi.

La conozco desde hace más de 20 años.

Normalmente Hoshi atiende todas las necesidades de sus gatitos para que tengan una vida plena y digna, segura y llena de amor. Pero recientemente ha tenido que afrontar 2 pérdidas: Kara y Kya.

Kara fue súbitamente a pesar de gozar de buena salud y ser aún joven.

Kya luchó valientemente contra el cáncer por años hasta fines de 2023, después de varias operaciones y sesiones de quimioterapia, cuando realizó su viaje hacia el arcoiris 🌈

Cómo saben, el tratamiento es costoso pero sobre todo el estrés, ansiedad y dolor son muy difíciles de sobrellevar.

Queremos darle a Naku todo lo que necesite para poder sobrevivir el cáncer ya que se le detectó en 1ra fase. Hay esperanza.

Convencí a Hoshi de que pedir ayuda no es razón de vergüenza pero ella personalmente no manejará el blog, si desean ver y conocer más sobre la vida de Hoshi y sus gatos pueden ir a su cuenta de TikTok aunque estén preparados a qué sólo es en español.

Hello, this is a new blog.

The blog's purpose is to help my dear friend Hoshi fight her beloved cat Naku's recent cancer diagnosis.

I've known Hoshi for over 20 years and counting.

Usually, she tends to every single need her cats have so they can live peaceful dignified lives, comfortably and full of love. But recently she had to go through 2 losses: Kara and Kya.

Kara died suddenly even tho she was a young healthy cat.

Kya fought bravely against cancer for years until late 2023, after multiple surgeries and quemo therapy sessions she finally went to live over the rainbow 🌈

As you may know, not only treatment is expensive but stress, anxiety and the pain are hard to live by.

We want Naku to have everything he needs to survive cancer as he is in the first stages. There is hope.

Had to convince Hoshi that asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of but she will not personally manage this blog, if you want to reach out to her and learn more about her life with her cats you can go to her TikTok account just be ready it's all in spanish.

Assertiveness is key and being reasonable is equally important. 10. You don't have to bend over backwards all the time. Flexibility matters, but it doesn't have to come from you always.
