payne’s gray; describe your aesthetic?

Oooh, that's hard. I don't know if I could settle on just one aesthetic type because I'm kinda fickle and I like a lot of things that are varied. Like I don't think they could be seen as something coherent when all put together. I like neon lights and colors, a kind of urban nightlife aesthetic, but I also love flowers and flowy dresses. I like really vibrant skies. I like simple things, but I also like opulent things - intricate designs and things that border on or could actually be considered garrish. Now that I think about it, I think the best description of my preferred aesthetic is whatever was going on in Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet.

4. What defines your artistic style?

Hmmmmmm..... frankly I'm not so sure how to answer this question. I feel like people who often see my art could recognize my artstyle better than myself tbh >////<

But anyway, some art friends had commented several times about my thick, bold, and confident lines, which is more clearly shown in my traditional works, such as:

The left one was from 2019, the right one from 2021

Even before I switched to brushpens I think my artlines are already bold though

Also, idk who said that but... the way I draw jawlines and necks, apparently? I know I tend to hover towards realistic proportions, but idk?

I think my artstyle in general leans towards the seinen spectrum? I certainly don't go all cute lmao

Other noticeable features is maybe the colors? I do prefer warm undertones after all.

Not gonna lie, my serotonin production is directly tied to Mikaze Ai at this point. He’s just... so good.

I’m actually super happy in my grad program right now! I haven’t felt this happy about school since I was in elementary school, so it feels really good!

Bubble tea makes me very happy, and I’m going through withdrawal because I moved back home for the summer and there are NOT any bubble tea places close by.

I would gobble up every tidbit possible of that AU ( º言º ). But honestly when I saw that note about the cooks finding out about Akashi's newfound desire for vanilla treats, the first thing my mind went to was the angst potential lol. Imagine... Kuroko left (official or angst reasons depending on the degree of pain you would like to dish out) and now Akashi just silently looks at the vanilla treats the kitchen sends him. He doesn't know what to do.

(For max!angst, afterwards, the cook received a notice from his young master, stating that he no longer wants any vanilla-related things from now on.)

Thank you so much for taking an interest!!! LMAO of course the first thing to point out would be what would happen after Tetsuya leaves... and indeed, the chef would be confused why Akashi’s cravings would all of a sudden be put to a halt.

I actually already have a plan for that bit, but I guess it depends on which one we want to suffer more...

When Tetsuya returns to Heaven after finishing his Earthly tasks, for him to actually earn his halo, he has to take Akashi’s memories with him and absorb them as his powers. It actually depends if an apprentice angel would need to be assigned to a lot of children to achieve this, but taking the memories are a significant part of it. The stronger the bond with the child, the more powerful the memories. In Tetsuya’s case, Akashi’s memories alone would be enough to earn him a halo.

There’s a reason why guardian angels like Tetsuya are only assigned to very young children and that’s because that’s a time when their minds are highly influenced by their imagination. Think of it as invisible, imaginary friends you had when you were younger -- you may have had them, but you don’t quite remember their names now or what exactly you were doing with them, or even what they look like if you had an image of them in your head.

Because a child’s mind is easy to influence, it’s also very easy to forget as time goes on... so while Tetsuya’s good deeds and efforts to make Akashi happy and get over his mother’s death stays, Akashi won’t have any recollection of his time with Tetsuya at all. If he does, his memories that involve Tetsuya would be very fragmented. Sadly, a hard price to pay.

In regards to the treats, Akashi would be confused why the chef even thinks he likes vanilla because he actually hasn’t even had them, despite finding a lot of them in his room after Tetsuya had gone.

PokeSpe/Fate Chronicles

So, @kikiji448 and I came up with some headcanons for a possible Fate/Zero and Pokemon Special crossover. Let’s just say the muses hit me hard and I started to write some short-stories which I decided to post thanks to @producermokyo.

And thanks to the Covid19 outbreak my classes are cancelled until the end of this month. So, I can post this to kill time.

These short-stories are told in a non-chronological order, but they happen in the same universe. They don’t really have a plot, but are mainly focused on possible interactions between characters. They will be posted under the tag #PokeSpe/Fate Chronicles so look forward to them!

But you ask, why the change? Why now? Why... why... why are you positing within a month of your last post??!

That’s a good question, I’m so glad you asked! The truth is, I GOT A NEW JOB AND I’M SO FREAKING EXCITED CUZ IT’LL BE DAY TIME SHIFTS AND SET SCHEDULES AND I WON’T FEEL LIKE I’M SLOWLY DYING INSIDE ANYMORE!!! Yaaaaaay

To be perfectly honest I’ve been planning this renewal/rebirth for a while, but since Dollar Tree has been sucking my soul- it’s been kinda hard to find the time.

BUT

With the new job, I hope to buckle down and get serious again with writing. Me and my beta (@Kikiji448) are working hard on the rewrite for Elite Hearts, now renamed Mistakes Made. I know it’s been... almost four years since I took the story off the market for the rewrite, but better late than never, right? ...Right??

Because y’all are the special readers, I’ll give you a very brief synopsis of the new story. Keep in mind that it’s still under works, not ready for publishing yet (but it’s getting very close), so this is all you’re getting for a while.

Basically is an SI/OC (yes I’ve jumped on that train, have been for a while- but this is the first story with that trope I’m serious about publishing). Or reborn!OC, whichever tag you prefer. Like Elite Hearts (DO NOT READ! Please, it’s toxic and is known to cause blindness), Mistakes is a ‘what if’ AU if they Uchiha coup succeeded... somewhat. That’s also were the SI/OC portion comes in. But that’s all I’ll tell you MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

My lovely readers will also be happy to know that I’m beginning the process for the Acro/Trap rewrite (well... the third really). Mistakes takes priority, but Kikiji and I are beginning to plan Acrobats out, slowly but surely.

In other news... nothing. I’ve got nothing.

Do you have a favorite word?

This ask made me look at my WIPs (which just all happen to be fanfic right now) to see if there is any indication that I have a favorite word. I apparently use the word "promise" a lot, but I think it's just the nature of that piece. Still a good word though. I do like saying the word "serendipitous", I guess that could be a favorite.

Oh wow.... And here I was trying to smother the angsty ideas that came to me and trying to give less painful alternatives because I thought you had an innocent, fluffy AU going on. Never thought you had something even more than I could imagine planned XD

IT’S VERY FLUFFY FOR THE MOST PART BUT.... it definitely has its painful moments as well, especially considering Akashi’s family background. ; u ; Trust me that it will end in a good note at least!
