Last night I dreamed that you had written an anthology of superhero slice of life vignettes, as a bonus story to a longer piece. They were all very fun little stories, and there was one i especially liked about a guy who could turn into a dragon being befriended and adopted by another hero like you would a feral cat. I know technically my brain wrote them instead of you, but please accept these kidos anyway. Dream!me had a delightful time reading them all.

Aw, that's so much fun! I'm flattered your subconscious decided to assign me to the best of your thoughts :D The idea of a superhero who is not very good at socializing being taken in like a feral cat and becoming the Pet Introvert of all the Superhero Extroverts is a very charming one.

(Given the long tradition of Jewish superhero creators in comics, really there should be SOME kind of superhero story in the Shivadh romances. Perhaps some kind of AU. There are canonical tiny dragons in the local mythology!)

Analysis: I'm actually a little embarrassed about my last lines because imo I get MUCH lazier about prose by the time I get to the end of a fic compared to the beginning. That being said, I make the effort to have the last line really resonate through the fic as a whole to tie things up neatly, so I hope that kind of comes through?

As for patterns - i guess i like a good establishing shot, a little peek at the inside of the POV character’s head, or looking at where they are. Early establishing of who the POV character is, either by name or by trait for most of these as well.

Starting with a statement, apparently, is my thing. short, as well, because I know that a lot of these i’ll then follow with a longer sentence.

i know one of you made that American Duchess Cape a while back (was it you @kingedmundsroyalmurder ?) and, basically, how did you go from the pdf to an actual size pattern? From what I can see this is something that would print out on regular size printer paper and then fit maybe a doll so how does it go to the size where you can actually work with it?

First ship: Okay, the first ship that I actually sailed qua ship is Aerin and Luthe from The Hero and the Crown. Their dynamic is so good. Probably need to reread it and do some deconstruction, but 12-year-old me saw this as an Aragorn/Eowyn analogous endgame and went feral.

Relationship status: Single 😅

Last movie: I think it was Mamma Mia? Which I loathed, by the way. That's probably a controversial statement but aside the great Abba music and Meryl Streep carrying it on her back, it was such a nothing movie.
