Here's some feel good championship celebrations. Trying to get back into the swing of writing, I hope this is good lmao. Peripheral editing, so sorry for any mistakes.

Daniel grinned as he held his phone aloft, filming the singing crew below. From his vantage point halfway up the stairs he could see all the mechanics as they sang drunkenly along with Christian to Wonderwall. Who knew Genty knew how to play the guitar?!

Daniel was amazed, he’d never been with a team when they won a big championship before and being in the depth of the garage when Max crossed the finish line in Japan had been quite literally a surreal out of body experience.

He and Blake watched as Max was enveloped by his team, patting him on his helmet and back, lifting him high into the air. The drinking had started immediately, and now hours later, Daniel knew he was the only sober person in the building (stupid meds). But it was fine, he was more than happy to (unofficially) record the memories for the team. He swung his camera to the left to capture the moment when Max walked back into the room– the cheers that erupted were deafening. It felt as if he was at an Eagles game and they just scored the game winning goal, only condensed in this tiny room.

Max went pliantly into Christian’s hug, both men grinning squinty, crinkly, happy grins. Daniel knew that there wasn’t one braincell between them right now.

Max looked up and his face brightened when he recognised Daniel, he waved him down and everyone turned around to see who had Max’s attention. They all cheered again when they too saw the Aussie.

Aussie Aussie Aussie!!!

Oi Oi Oi!!

Daniel didn’t see who started the chant, but he did see Micheal gleefully screaming along. Blake motioned for him to go downstairs and he did, yelling out his own ‘kikiki ra!’ that Max returned.

“Hi” Daniel grinned once stood beside Max, a waitress came then with a new round of drinks and Max quickly grabbed the lone bottle of sparkling water and pressed it gently in Daniel’s left hand.

There was a toast to the team, and Daniel took his time uncapping his bottle. When the screams went up again he was ready with his own drink, drinking to the 6 time world champs.

“One down, one to go eh?!” Someone yelled and that started a chant of ‘one more time’ which had Max positively beaming.

Daniel kissed his boyfriend’s cheek but Max wasn’t having it– pulling him in close for a full blown wet kiss. If Daniel thought the cacophony before was loud, the noise now was thunderous.

Later, when Daniel was steadying Max as they walked to their room, he couldn’t help but stare fondly at his wasted boyfriend. He had stuck to gin and tonics the whole night, but Christian had left an open tab on the company card– and Max had conspiratorially told him that there was a championship budget with a lot of zeros.

No one else faired any better, Daniel had dropped off Blake and Micheal two floors down– it had been a wild ride trying to coax Max back into the elevator. He didn’t want to accept that they hadn’t reached their room yet. But they made it and Daniel felt he deserved a prize for shepherding an entire drunk team. Max fell face first into the bed– literally already asleep, and Daniel followed behind him after taking off their shoes.

Daniel woke up to the smell of breakfast and his stomach growled louder than any noise the team made last night. He distantly heard Max’s chuckle and felt lips pressed to his forehead. Max was fresh from the shower damp, his cheeks still rosy from the heat of the water. Daniel didn’t comment on the fact that he was wearing his sunglasses.

“Morning Love, Christian sent up breakfast and a card. His text said that you ‘did the lord’s work’ and he appreciates it.” Max yawned around some of his words, and his accent ate the others.

Daniel smiled indulgently, last night was fun and he was excited to do it again in Qatar– he should be off his meds by then so someone else will have to babysit.

Ms. Lewis is really funny because her (likely) first impression of Blake in in Damages 2.3 was this:

“Damned oatmeal,” I muttered. Louder, I said, “Remember that bit I said last night? About how you had to get on my case and remind me that I could have gone shopping but didn’t? Now’s the time. I feel like I’m going to cry.”

“More specifically, we are Mann, Levinn and Lewis,” the young woman said. Blonde, with a tidy ponytail and a lock of hair strategically draped over the corner of one eyebrow. One of her pantyhose-covered legs was crossed over the other, her hands folded over her knee. “Please, don’t cry while we’re here. I can’t speak for my partners, but I’d be embarrassed on your behalf.”

Followed immediately by this in 2.4

“You misled us,” Rose said. “I was very clear. Don’t start crying now. We’ve made it this far. Now face them head-on. Can you see it? One coming right now.”

Sure she's evil to the core but between that and seeming to genuinely like Blake enough to refuse his request in the Abyss in person, she's on Faysal's level of affable interesting Pact characters (who still suck because they screwed Blake over)

There's probably a proper parallel to be made between her and Faysal but I don't have enough braincells to do a proper writeup on that.

Currently working on a clexa zombie au called "Clarke Griffin's Guide to Surviving the Apocalypse".

Could use some help with the order of rules / order of importance. This is my current list, but any help is much appreciated + any other rules/ideas/moments y'all can think of ❤️

Heyhey, Nova!! I should be getting a new phone tomorrow, so I'm looking forward to that! It has a better camera so I can start taking proper photographs of the moon and stars rather than just observing! Maybe ai can share some with you after!

I've heard a little about Faith and Oscar and I realised that Faith also happens to share Oscar's last name... does that mean that they're married? Or are they related in another way? Where do they both sit in the storyline, and what is their relationship like with each other? Are they close, or do they not talk at all? Is there any symbolism with Faith's name, or is it simply a nice name that you liked? Do they have any connection with Isabela and Ana, or are they figures from Blake's past?

Rowan is an evil little creature, but he sounds like a sweetheart at the same time. Maybe things would have been different if he grew up in a different environment! Never mind, you know what I'm like. I'll love him either way!

Well, you see, Faith and Oscar do share a surname, but they're not married... They're Blake's older siblings! (Faith is married, but that's a whole other story) Faith is 4 years older, and Oscar is 3. The two of them sit right at the beginning of the story, in the chapter where Blake decides to go on his adventure in the first place. The three of them are absolute chaos together, even though Faith claims to be the braincell(s) of the family...

I remembered an old friend from primary school who's middle name was Faith. I mean, call me soppy but it's a lovely name, and my friend was a lovely girl

I dislike Rowan but honestly who knows? That might change when I develop him

I- the gnome is Neon I take no criticism. They are often good-natured souls with a more mischievous side, and if that doesn’t describe Neon I’m not sure what does. Playful, funny, good intentions, that my good Bean is our lovable cat personified. Okay Parhelion dnd au with gnome Neon please /j.

I AM SMACKING THE GUN OUT OF YOUR HANDS [runs into a glass wall] dammit,, guess I gotta talk now

I- oh no,, time to fail the exam I guess (turns all your head canons upside down)

Okay they do sleep yes they do. Actually that’s a lie only Ciel sleeps, the other two are insomniacs. Ciel has all of her day to day life planned out to the minute, so she heads to bed at a certain time and wakes up at a certain time, the other two are more of a “we’ll sleep when we’re tired” kinda duo. Unfortunately due to Ilia’s night terrors and Neon’s ADHD they almost never rest. No they do not sleep in a SANE bed, ha why would they have a bed? They sleep in a hammock all tangled up with each other. It’s hard to tell what order they sleep in when they kinda curl into each other. They do not use a duvet, why have a duvet when Neon is a space heater? There are no pillows on the hammock X). OKAY THEIR ROOM, THIS I GOT, it’s a funky mess that is somehow organized thanks to Ciel. Ilia doesn’t own a lot in general but it was her life’s dream to paint her bedroom rainbow so guess what they have now. The other two are too soft and they supported her efforts and they love her despite her poor design sense XD.

I- why closet ASDFG I mean— No they do not share a closet they all have completely different fashion sense and if that was all in one place people would be genuinely terrified. But since they’re broke they had to make do with one walk in closet that they partitioned off into sections. YES THEY DO HAVE MATCHING OUTFITS THEY ARE SO CUTE LIKE THAT. They tend to be like those cute couple outfits with a few variations to match their own personal style. But their favorite matching outfit are these duck hoodies they own courtesy of once again Ilia living out her childhood dreams. No they don’t own many outfits because like I mentioned earlier they are broke x). Hmm thinking about each other’s styles… Ilia think both of her girlfriends have great taste, she loves the well, neon of Neon, and the prim and properness of Ciel. Neon just doesn’t care XD. And Ciel is just, she’s just standing there wishing she could help their fashion sense, but she holds back because “It does suit them in an odd way.” Ciel gets the most compliments on her style hands down, she looks organized and you can bet she saves money to buy outfits that actually accentuate her cuteness. They don’t wear makeup no time for that (in which you learn Z has little to no knowledge in how to apply makeup and doesn’t know how to answer that question)

OH OKAY I LOVE VIDDY GAMES. Ciel likes real-time strategy games because she’s insane and that’s literally all she knows in life thanks to being raised in an upper class family in Atlas. Neon likes open world games, something something she likes the chance for adventure and determining one’s fate for themself. Ilia has never once played a video game until after she defected from the White Fang but I can see her playing something light like Stardew Valley, low stakes kinda games. Hmm, they might play Animal Crossing together? Since it has aspects they all enjoy. They each have an individual switch (Ilia has a coral switch lite) and one shared PC. Okay game with most hours, maybe Minecraft? They still haven’t beat the enderdragon because Neon keeps getting distracted XD. Neon is the bomb at party games though, you can bet she has a perfect score on all the songs in Just Dance. Ciel is a sharpshooter, god knows who taught her how to shoot like that. The biggest splatoon fan is unfortunately not Neon it is Ilia, she loves all the colors in the game ^^. But she and Neon have wracked up quite a few hours in co-op.

Uhhh books!! Ilia likes fanfics :) it’s unfortunately one of the only ways for her to see positive representation of herself. Neon for some reason reads Epics?? Like her favorite is the Epic of Gilgamesh what is up with that?? Ciel reads webtoons :), she reads enough serious stuff for school work and such, she likes to just kick back and relax after all that. Yes they have schedules reading time courtesy of Ciel :). Uhh, they relax by baking together. None of them had many chances to indulge in sweets while growing up so they make full use of their time now. ?? SPOON?? Cuddle hours happen on a whim, the one thing that Ciel can never schedule because she never knows when it’ll occur. They relax the most in the kitchen x) because that’s where they bake, it’s not unusual to find Neon asleep on the counter while she waits for their sweets to rise. They read in the light, Neon is afraid that by reading in the dark that they’ll all ruin their eyesight. Ciel likes the sunrise because she’s up the earliest and is the only one to see it, the other two prefer sunset because that’s usually when their day is about to begin XD.

Favorite spot for dates! The park ^^, they like to go on picnic dates with all their baked goods. There is no plan, usually one of them will randomly pull the other two out of the house because they haven’t touched grass in a while XD. There are no ideas, they share one braincell and they spend too much time doting on each other to use it. Uhm favorite movie genre,,, they like comedy movies :). Their favorite place to eat is this tiny store on the corner of their street that makes mean gyros, they heccin’ love them. Coping with horror, Ilia is desensitized to horror because of the things she’s seen in life, Neon treats it like a game because she knows it’s not real, Ciel, is okay with it, but she gets shook more easily than the other two and they often have to reassure her. No they do not like theme parks, there are too many people around for Ilia and Ciel and Neon respects their boundaries so they tend to go to more quiet places. Uhm heights, Ciel is used to heights because she’s friends with Penny and woah can that girl toss her in the air like she’s a couple of grapes. Ilia doesn’t mind heights but she would prefer to have her feet on the ground. Neon loves the ground so damn much if it leaves her she will cry because man she can’t roller-skate in the air can she, what will she do if the ground is suddenly gone? They like evening dates because it’s normally the only time all three of them are awake enough for it XD. They end a night by sleeping I am not quite sure if there are other ways to end it lmao. They absolutely despise Neon’s roller skating dates but they love how excited she gets about them so they end up becoming as good as professional roller skaters because the smile on Neon’s face when they join her is dazzling.

I am slowly going insane. Yes each girl has a hobby I sure hope they do. Ilia knits, Ciel paints, and Neon writes. I would like to imagine that Ciel would try to schedule time for their hobbies she ends up giving up because all their sleep schedules are wack. Designated chef is Neon (probably made food for FNKI back in atlas), designated driver is Ilia (I mean I like to imagine she stole cars and stuff in the White Fang XD), designated decorator for stuff is normally Ciel though Neon does try to hijack a few of her plans occasionally, designated shopper is Ciel because the other two have no concept of Saving money, and they all work together to clean :). They don’t work together, they believe in keeping their work life and home life separate to prevent their feelings from getting in the way. They do not have pets, none of them have the energy or responsibility to do that, but Ilia did once bring a moose home one day for some reason.

I am nomming on your arm sir. Ilia and Neon get along with Penny surprisingly well, though I do think Ilia would get along with Weiss better? Ruby and Weiss look at Ciel and see a beacon arc Weiss and more or less adopt her despite Ciel being older than the two of them. They might like.. play board games together? Like some of those more team based board games I can’t think of anything off the top of my head, may the best polycule win. I cannot see them in a cuddle puddle to be honest ajcnjsanjs I am so sorry— hmm Ruby and Neon do not know the meaning of formal, as far as they are concerned these are their girlfriend’s friends and that means that by extension these are their friends. Weiss would like nothing to do with Neon after Neon insults Yang during the Vytal festival but she begrudgingly goes on outings with her and hey, now they’re make up buddies for some reason. The parhelion gals take the fs gals to the gyro place they like :). Parhelion gang Is a lot more vocal on their dates because their love language happens to be words of affirmation while the fs gang’s happen to be physical touch. Both polycules are very very affectionate though I will die on this hill.

(Parhelion angst! How do Neon and Ciel react to the news about the dust mine? How do they find out about Ilia getting expelled? Do they find out about the white fang? Is there any faunus stigma afterwards? How does Ciel react to people bullying her Faunus GFS? Does Neon talk to Ciel much after? Do they ever reunite? Does Neon attempt to help Ciel while she grieves Penny? Where the fuck is Ciel now? Is Neon still alive? Does Ilia ever think about them? Does Blake know about them from Ilia?)

BUDDY I CAME TO THE LAST ASK AND NOW ONLY DID I REALIZE YOU MEANT PARHELION BACK WHEN THEY WHERE IN BEACON THIS WHOLE TIME I’M CRYING. (This ask is answered under the assumption that they are already dating back in Atlas Academy) Ciel is fiercely protective of her girlfriends, though people only know that Neon is a Faunus because Ilia masks her traits during her time at the academy. Neon and Ciel are horrified about the news about the dust mines. They know that Ilia is a Faunus and that her parents were working there so they rush to see her as soon as possible. But they’re too late,,, Ilia’s already been expelled for attacking her fellow students. They don’t hear from Ilia for a few years after that and the two slowly drift apart, each blaming the other for not getting to Ilia soon enough. They don’t find out about the White Fang until they reunite with Ilia unfortunately, but they feel sad that Ilia had felt that they only way for her to get revenge for her parents was by joining a militant group (I’m working under the assumption that Sienna only took control of the White Fang shortly before Ilia joined). When Neon learns that Penny didn’t make it after the Fall of Beacon she hesitantly reaches out to Ciel for the first time in a year, and she does try to help. But for Ciel it’s blow after heccin’ blow and she pushes Neon away in a rage. Ciel leaves the Academy after that and goes rogue, working as a huntsman without a license for the poorer parts of remnant. Ilia is unaware of all this drama during the Beacon arc. The next time she hears of any news is during the Fall of Atlas, and she’s scared, scared because she’s still recovering and she just heard Ruby announce to the world that Remnant is under attack, and oh my gosh her ex girlfriends live in Atlas. Neon makes it out alive, though not entirely in one piece, she now has a prosthetic leg. Ilia is the first person to see her, it’s a tearful reunion and they haven’t fully made up yet, but hey it’s a work in progress, now they just have to find out where Ciel is, but when they do they’ll BOTH be there to greet her. Blake has no idea who the fuck Ciel and Neon are lmao, Ilia never told her anything about her past romances when she was in the White Fang.

omg I need your thoughts on the terminally o line author culture bc ngl it makes my eye TWITCH, there are authors I deliberately avoid even tho I've heard their stuff is good bc they're like that 🙈

HHHHH oh good lord, okay, from how I see it, there are two angles on this, both aggravating and sad: the official decree one and the spontaneous ecosystem one.

The officious one is that the nature of publishing nowadays demands an author have an online presence. You need Twitter/X. You need to let every potential reader know your book is coming out. You need engagement through reviews and pre-orders incentives (if you buy now you’ll get a special keychain!!) and word of mouth assurances from your peers that yes your book is as cool as you say it is. You need a newsletter with links (more buying! more voting on lists that are simply popularity contests!) and promises you’re still working on the next thing, don’t forget about me in the morass of everyone else doing the same thing. You need an Instagram and TikTok now to post pretty pictures and videos because one or two authors made it big off this kind of promotion and now everyone thinks it’s the ticket to the bestseller list (sadly, it seems to be working). You need an OnlyFans (a joke but I do recall a twt spat that was a joke/not joke about how rupi kaur will always be more beautiful than her critics and people who took issue with the conflation of beauty with talent). At the end of all this, you’re basically an influencer, a content creator creating content for the content you should be focusing on creating, the finished novel. And the novel itself seems to be disappearing behind the masks used to promote it (fanfic-style tropes, moodboards, playlists, memes) until I now no longer trust the book that I’ll pick up to have any resemblance to the enticements that brought me here. I’ve seen an author or two complain about the stress all this self-promotion generates, but it’s become such an entrenched part of the industry, I think people just accept it. And thus spend too much time online hoping that if they tweet just a little more, produce just one more reel, maybe that’ll be the difference between a sale and no sale.

The other side of this, distinct but obviously connected, is the ecosystem created by this panic of being perpetually visible coupled with the fact that so many of the new authors came of age during the rise of internet fandom culture. That opinionated community mindset that blurs the line between anonymity and friendship is the lens they bring to their own work. I mean, it makes sense I suppose—if you love yelling about characters and words, why wouldn’t you do that once you start to produce your own? This really came home to me hearing about that reviewbombgate “scandal” and how people involved were in reylo circles and that was used to provide receipts. You’re interacting with your readers and peers about your intimate work but they are also all strangers. They will not always give you the benefit of the doubt, and now—as opposed to the past when maybe the worst that could happen was a handful of bad reviews in newspapers—you will either be tagged in hate reviews, sub-tweeted, explicitly called out, demanded to atone for your sins. It’s no longer the morality of consumption but the morality of production. Of course, the easy answer is just log-off, touch some grass. But that can work only when you and everyone else are separated by anonymous accounts or when you have no platform to maintain. As an author trying to make your livelihood from this, suddenly it’s do or die. We’re in a strange moment of authorship bringing the Internet’s echo-chamber and claustrophobic into the real world (this is a lie: publishing now is no longer the real world. But it looks like it) and thus you can kind of no longer escape things.

Will the average reader who isn’t aware of all these machinations care about reviewbombgate? Would a reader browsing at Target think about the controversies around Lightlark? Very likely not. But the impression I’m getting more and more is that the average reader isn’t the one buying all the books. Or shall we say—a bestseller’s status relies on bookstore stock. Bookstore stock is only huge when they know a book will be a good investment. They’ll only know a book is a good investment if it and its author has street cred based on booktokkers, bookstagram, bloggers and reviewers (have you noticed how many books out these last maybe 1-3 years have these kinds of accounts thanked in the acknowledgments? Yeah), and THESE are also chronically online people who will Know. And decide the cast of fate.

Honestly, @batrachised, I see why you avoid these kinds of writers, though I wonder how long it’ll be before the disease becomes epidemic.

given the villa can be restrictive, whether someone needs to steal someone, or they simply didn’t have enough time, some people never had the opportunity of getting to know each other. and i might mix and match people from different seasons here, ‘cause i know some of them are perfect for each other.

bff’s that are inseparable if they got to meet on the outside. not just buddies/scheduling something they never go to. i’m also excluding friendships like ibrahim+noah, because it would be so much harder to happen since they're not regulars in the same circles.

💛 henrik x bobby. “i think i just met my best friend” right after their first conversation! henrik cooks vegan meals while bobby tries them, possibly not being into it, and they exchange advice about girls (or boys, according to my headcanon).

💛 lottie x allegra. i mean, yeah! girl code all around, and both would have lots to say about it! they have very similar past romances, and would bond over that.

💛 aj x henrik. puppy energy, adventurous, loyalty, outdoors! everything they both love!

💛 tim x chelsea. just the dumbest exchange of one (1) braincell, still, amazing friendship. they both give advice to each other, about love, and i-

💛 rohan x noah. hanging out, discussing psychology and everything that comes with it. possibly one bringing the best on the other, both perhaps learning how to assert themselves in the future.

💛 lucy x blake. their energy just seems to match, and because they’re both insufferable, possibly meeting in a very “karen speaking to the manager” kind of way, they would hit it off! disgustingly sharing the same vibes.

💛 lucas x carl. i think i’ve said this before, but both of them are in the same circles, possibly shopping in the same places. they both have impeccable taste, and that could spark more to talk about. lucas would be the kind of friend that boosts carl’s confidence.

💛 elijah and mason. both models, both think they’re last cookie in the pack, and obviously cheeky. picking up girls, or boys on elijah’s case, would honestly be the best time they would have as friends! and watch the two of them call everyone a toby.

💛 priya x jen. initially fashion, but i think they have lots in common, mostly about how they go on about a relationship, and just how they deal with themselves, finding out so much more in their journeys.

💛💘 shannon x lucas. tell me they wouldn’t meet during a poker game, and i’mma smack you! the sarcasm, the charm, banter, witty conversation... everything would be a huge factor for these two to be friends. and @garyandhisnan said once, they would be a fire couple! so i reckon both scenarios could easily happen.

i’m sure there are some other pairs, but for now, these are the ones i could think of.

(took a while to answer this because hooo boy you have awoken the beast)

alright so imagine you were born to a legendary demon and a human woman and you also have a twin brother whom due to various circumstances you end up fighting to the death, but then after that you choose to take a jump into hell and face the ultimate demon king of evil (who is a bastard) and then you LOSE so he turns you into a knight/demonic slave through torturing you and breaking down your entire sense of self. you follow so far?

so after all that, your twin brother ends up defeating you (again) and in doing so frees you from the enslavement of said bastard demon king man, only now you’re dying and your body is falling apart because of all the trauma and abuse you have gone through...

and in a fit of desperation, you take the magical dimension cutting sword that you have and drive it into yourself to cut off the “weakest” parts of yourself...

and out pops this guy! your goth twink human side!

(long and incoherent ramblings about why V is important and why i love him below)

so V is one half of vergil, the other half being urizen (V is 100% human while urizen is 100% demon) and he’s basically got vergil’s last braincell and whatever remains of his empathy, while urizen is vergil’s demon half run completely amok with nothing to rein it back in

though this doesn’t mean that V is a particularly nice or morally upstanding person. he’s got maybe 30% more morals than vergil (though that practically makes him a model citizen by comparison) and his motivations do start from a selfish place of wanting to remerge with urizen so he can be a complete person again. (he’s also slowly dying after being split off because he doesn’t have enough power to sustain his frail body)

however, seeing the damage his demon side is wreaking on red grave city, V does realize “hey all this death is Bad and im going to help these Silly Humans” which is HUGE character development for vergil who has a track record of Not Giving A Fuck about humans at all

he spends about a month before the main bulk of dmc5 starts helping people who are still alive get out of red grave and killing demons there. such a good boy!

he’s also a little unhinged but like. sexy about it.

oh and probably the most hardcore thing about him? he has three demon familiars that are bound into his skin

^these three are manifestations of vergil’s trauma and nightmares, also cast off of vergil when he split himself. V takes them and uses them to fight, so yeah. he literally reclaims and uses his own ptsd as a weapon, while also reading william blake poetry to power up. did i mention he reads poetry? whenever he wants to be a cryptic fuck to another character he will just pop out a blake quote and it’s kind of amazing how shit this guy is at social interaction huh.

griffon (the bird) and shadow (the panther) are noteworthy because of their personalities. they deeply care about V (and vergil too), but that doesn’t mean they wont give him shit, as seen above :3 just the cutest nightmare abominations ever. griffon kind of acts like a guiding force/morale support/resident shittalker and most of all, mother hen to V to keep him from getting himself killed because. well. V is incredibly reckless and might not entire realize humans can indeed Die From Things

in conclusion this man owns my ass and the way he tries to fix the mess he himself caused and actually grows to act like a Real Person and how that ties into vergil’s character development is amazing. also his theme slaps and he’s absolutely gorgeous and im saying that as a lesbian. capcom puts something in their games man

The yang-ish one of the group, trigger happy angel, commonly known as Apple Pie, Exusai. Generally positive and a very powerful sniper and baker.

Next is the blake-ish, complete with a criminal past. Texas is a sword wolf who acts as the primary holder of the half of a braincell penguin logistics has. Sort of. Her problem solving usually involves hitting the problem with her sword.

Last, is the crazy. Lappland is Texas' personal stalker and is obsessed with bringing out her wild ruthless side. Also a wolf, Lappland craves bloodshed and it's a miracle that she follows orders as a Rhodes Island op.

I finally started watching RWBY.

I've been meaning to watch it for some time, and I finally got to do it within the last two weeks. As of today, I finished up Volume 2 and plan to start Volume 3 soon! Unfortunately, I will mention that I did get some spoilers about what happens from that point and beyond... including some character deaths. But bare in mind that I don't have the full story on everything that happened.

I'm excited to continue, and it seems like popular anime dub actors start appearing in the next volume, which I still think is cool that RT got those names to do so. And yes, I'm well aware of the Vic Mignogna situation and that it led him to being fired, but I'm interested to hear him as Qrow and how his current actor compares (I do prefer the new voice of Qrow over Vic).

Speaking of characters, a little list of characters I've grown to like, and I know that over the course of the series, my thoughts on them will develop and change. :3 Keep in mind that list is as of VOLUME 2, so any other characters that are introduced after that aren't considered.

Ruby Rose: bubbly pure ray of sunshine and also a deadly cinnamon roll, must be protected even if she can fend for herself

Yang Xiao Long: best big sis and total firecracker, would love to hang out with her

Blake Belladonna: goth Neko gal (I know she's technically a Faunus, but she's got CAT EARS) who deserves all the love for righting the wrongs she commited

Jaune Arc: awkward dork who's really trying his best and is doing great (gives me Midoriya vibes)

Pyrrha Nikos: totally chill famous fighter chick I'm not ready for what happens to her

Nora Valkyrie: pancake queen and best nose booper

Lie Ren: the quiet type but is no Shoto Todoroki (still love Ren tho)

Weiss Schnee: hated her in Volume 1 but began to melt in Volume 2

Glynda Goodwitch: someone give this woman a break because she just looks so done with all the shit that's happening

Sun Wukong: chaotic monkey boy who shares one braincell with Neptune

Penny Polendina: precious robo-girl who deserved her own arc during Volume 2 instead of just one episode with that revelation also not ready for what happens to her

Roman Torchwick: total a*hole but is so freaking extra (just like TS Roman!)

Emerald Sustrai: i just like that she gives off this mystery cool girl vibes even if she's currently an antagonist

Bartholomew Oobleck: automatically loved him upon first appearance because he's one of my favorite character types (plus I used to watch Red vs Blue and Caboose was my favorite)

Neapolitan: love her design and am curious to know about her
