I'm watching the anime Plunderer. On one hand it's such a good anime with such good characters. On the other hand the Mineta-level fanservice parts of it are such a turn off.

Licht is either a 9 out of 10 or 0 out of 10 which is a shame because he's such an interesting character. Literally the only male character that isn't an outright pervert is Jail which is great because the fact that he's voiced by Umehara Yuuichiro already made him an attractive character, and the fact that he isn't trying to look at the girls panties half the time immediately makes him more attractive.

But yeah. That's honestly my only complaint about this anime because the storyline is really interesting and Licht really is an amazing character (when he's not being a giant pervert). I'm on the second to last episode of the anime and I might have to turn to the manga to see how it ends since season 2 isn't anywhere in sight.

Explaining Anime Badly✨ pt 7

DON'T BE FOOLED by any visuals from this series. To explain it badly... blue haired Tohru Honda is put into exceedingly questionable situations on her quest to find a Legendary Ace. Too bad that Ace turns out to be a Vash the Stampede-esque (Trigun era) character with a somehow more devastating back story??? Directions were unclear so everyone ends up getting groped by disembodied hands.

Coming to a rec list soon because, for all it's blustery fan service, this series was a trip from the start and down to the very last minute. Literally goes from gratuitously pervy (it's an ecchi) to devastatingly reflective to silly with tongue in cheek animation at breakneck speeds. I legitimately don't even know what sub-genre to call it. Definitely a "Haha That Ends in Tears" (ahem, Assassination Classroom). Now I have to read the manga because I need to know what happens next.

Speaking of minority ships, back in 2020 when I watched plunderer, I was already low-key shipping Nana and Licht but episode 19 was *chef's kiss*.

I think between that or episode 20 were the last episodes I watched, so now I'm thinking about finishing it and reading the manga.

On a side note, I had already knew some main couples that were supposed to be canon in the future, courtesy of getting spoiled long ago, but now I ended up spoiling myself some more. Sigh. Welp, let's see how it happens.

Ein anderer Tag

treibt dort in den Wellen,

des kleinen Bachs,

an dem einmal

jemand spazieren ging

Eine ältere Frau,

sie hatte ihren Enkel dabei

und ein paar Maisenknödel.

Die Knödel sind nun

schon lange fort

und auch die Frau ist weitergezogen,

doch der Enkel

sitzt am Ufer das Bachs

und fängt mit seinen Zehen

den anderen Tag.

Er spürt ihn in

den Zehen, aber

auch im Wind, in den Wolken

und er hört, wie er aus den Bäumen

zu ihm hinuntersingt,

wie das Laub hinuntersinkt

und seine Schritte bunt färbt,

in einer Welt, gefüllt mit

anderem Licht.

Da ist etwas namenloses

bei ihm, eine Schwingung,

ein Atemzug in den Feldern,

das Gefühl neuer Füße

in alten Schuhen,

die immer noch passen,

gut aussehen,

ohne Löcher sind,

aber gewohnt sind sie halt

andere Füße

9.8. von Strepeis nach Rigfugio Malinvern (Tag 46)

grenzgängig

Ich starte 7 Uhr 30, da die heutige Strecke länger sein wird. Es geht am Bach mit treppenartigen Staustufen Recht steil nach oben. Ich bin froh als der Fahrweg endet und ein richtiger Wanderweg beginnt. Besonders schön ist es, als ich auf trockenem Grasboden gehen kann. Dann wird alles still.

Auf dem Pass treffe ich einen Wanderer mit jungem Hund. Er meinte, er musste um die Kuhherde einen Bogen machen, weil sein Hund gerne Tiere verfolgt. Vom Pass aus sehe ich Sant'Anna die Vinadio, das "höchste Heiligtum Europas", wie die Webseite verlautet. Dort ist die "Hölle"los: ein großer Parkplatz mit vielen Fahrzeugen, Messen im 2-Stundentakt etc. Ich verzichte auf geistige Nahrung und gönne mir zum Ausgleich für die bevorstehende Strapaze ein Panino.

An einer "Gedenkstätte" (ich vermute Anna sieht Maria mit Jesus)(vor Sant'Anne traf eine wandernde Nonne, vielleicht war sie ja auf der Suche nach einer Marienerscheinung, wer weiß), einem See vorbei geht es auf steilem Militärweg zum Grenzkamm. Den spaziere ich bis zum nächsten Col, einem asphaltierten Grenzüberggang zwischen Cuneo und Isola. Alle, die gerne auf Rädern unterwegs sind, egal welchen, haben hier ihren Spaß.

Ich will mir eine weitere Lemon Soda kaufen, bekomme aber nur ein müdes 7up. Ich werde müde und beschließe einen kurzen Erholungsschlaf in den umherstehenden Liegestühlen zu machen. Das gelingt trotz des vielen Verkehrs erstaunlich gut.

Erfrischt geht es danach weiter über Geröllhalden zu einem Col. Dort beginnt der steile Abstieg zum Rigfugio, über goldgelbe Wiesen, vorbei an einem Bergsee und an steilen Felswänden entlang durch lichte Lärchenwälder.

In der Hütte, die exponiert auf einen Felsen gebaut ist, lerne ich ein deutsches Ehepaar kennen (by the way: das war der Abend mit den meisten Deutschen, denn es gab weitere). Der Mann geht gerne in den kalten Bergsehen baden, und meint, Weitesndere hätten keine Zeit und würden wesentliches nicht sehen. Trotzdem sind sie bereit mit 100 € Cash zu geben, während ich die elektronische Überweisung auf den Weg bringe. (Manche Hütten bestehen auf Barzahlung, und ich habe seit Wochen weder Bank noch Bankomat gesehen.)
