personal bone that needs picking. 

why is it that when i’m multitasking in class (I had a movie on my phone, off to the side, while I was actively doing my work. I also only do this during independent work, and I use headphones, my phones on a stand and I barely look at it, I’m more listening) while the rest of my class is either not working at all or talking and messing around (which I don’t care that they do so long as they don’t bother me), I’m the one getting told to put my phone away. this sub, mind you (another clarification, I respect subs, but I know this one, and he holds himself so high and makes class miserable for everyone every damn time), then proceeds to take up 10 minutes of my time, keeping me from working, to explain why I shouldnt have my phone out, cause it ‘takes to much of my focus”. when I continue to explain it helps me focus cause I have adhd and have 2 sources of stimulation, one of which more enjoyable, helps keep me from attempting to distract myself (all my teachers are cool with this cause I have shown it works). this is the second time he’s done this

#I feel like the tragedy of viserys and dany is they really might have been close and loved each other normally of they'd been allowed to #barristan says viserys always seemed aerys's son but when has westeros had any sort of developed understanding of mental illness #dany knew him best and she said the last kindness left him when he sold their mother's crown #it begs the question how much kindness there would have been if they hadn't been children forced out on the streets #a brother dany says never forgave her for their mother's death giving her birth. #but who told her stories and brought her up while his own mental faculties were wearing thin #it doesn't feel like tywin keeping tyrion based on lannister name and blood alone #she loved him once. #that viserys had some inherent lecherous evil in him doesn't feel in line with that to me #it doesn't feel in line with dany please #if ned is the good guardian to tywin's bad one viserys was just a boy who found himself in that role under the worst possible circumstances #and who under duress of those awful circumstances and his own undiagnosed mental illness #(for which he never got any help or support) #failed his sister very very badly #leaving daenerys to feel the hole of his absence even when he was still alive #because she loved him. once #lol anyway! #asoiaf #daenerys targaryen #viserys targaryen

y'know it's such a shame we didn't get any new episodes for the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who, but I guess I'm still riding on the high of Jodie Whittaker regenerating into Ncuti Gatwa, like what a moment, right? He looked so incredible in her burnt out clothes and I can't wait for his first ep where we get that classic post-regen loopiness as they try and solve an alien threat whilst staggering about in the previous regeneration's clothes - and also getting to own that moment, their first episode without being overshadowed by the person they were before? 😌 Anyway, at least on the plus side we got that ten and donna episode Wild Blue Yonder from s4 that they pulled out of the depths of the BBC archives? Like wow! What a find! Such a fascinating story, I'm gonna be thinking about it for weeks. And the way that it predicted Flux before it even happened? So so cool! But anyway mostly I'm excited to see the Fourteenth Doctor and Ruby in the Christmas Special 😊
