If Theo and Lily had kids what type of parents would they be? How many kids? Names? Animal spirits?

(Casey the gay uncle but other than him RJ, Camille, Fran and Dom aren’t allowed to babysit after the pizza incident…..Jarrod is allowed to though😂)

I feel like Lily would pamper the shit out of the kids. Theo would be the typical dad DAD, the “stays at home in his undershirt, reading newspaper” type that runs after the kids yelling “DISCIPLINE!!”

The kids take him seriously, initially, but as they approach the teenage, ALL of them (I think they’ll have three—) realise that “mama is 10000000x more scarier than papa” so that means riling Theo up is FUN, as long as mom doesn’t find out.

Lily takes care of the kids, single-handedly manages the entire discipline game, they take turns doing the chores, and whenever it’s Theo’s turn to cook, the kids are groaning and making faces because they know he’s going to serve up broccoli or some healthy shit— Lily makes good GOOD food, that’s even healthy, but also makes the kids eat the broccolis and horrid tasteless “healthy” things that Theo makes.

Names for the kids— I don’t have any particular ones, but I’m thinking they come on an agreement. I headcanon that Theo is Korean— so one of the kids has a traditional Korean name, one has an English name, and the third one— which was quite frankly, an accidental child— gets a name mixed from both languages. (Does this make sense??)

For animal spirits, I’m thinking that all kids have similar cat-genus spirits. They’re not exactly like their parents— Lily and Theo were fighting initially that “no, my kid will inherit mine,” “NO MINE” until the kids ACTUALLY started showing the spirits. The first one, boy, had the spirit of a CAT. like a typical housecat. Theo is disappointed, Lily is overjoyed. The next one, girl, has one of a lynx, Theo likes it, but not that much. The third one, has the spirit of a puma, and Theo’s THRILLED. Lily not so much, because the third kid WRECKS HAVOC with that spirit bahahaha—

…and I’d like details of the Pizza incident… as I’m sure, would the police—

Casey sees Fran like he does Lily. Fran is his sister, a little older, but his sister none the less. They hang out together watching movies or reading books, they joke around. Casey's protective, it's in his nature to protect the innocent and those without the fantastic powers he has.

He's taking to kissing her forehead or cheek when thanking her for things.

Theo sees Fran as a good friend and irreplaceable ally. From the moment he met her, he's liked her and all her silly quirks, though he doesn't always have the patients for her. Fran is sweet, innocent, and she's really good at handling Theo's primary mentor, so to Theo, Fran is indispensable. He's also extremely protective.

Lily Chilman:

Lily sees Fran as a best friend and confidante. On a team full of boys, its hard for Lily to feel like she can be a girl without getting teased for it (Casey and Theo), so she's really glad to have another girl to go shopping with and watch TV shows specifically tailored to a feminine demographic. She and Fran talk about everything from cute boys to feminine hygiene products. They bond over cute girls too, because bi-pan solidarity is absolutely a thing

To RJ, Fran is irreplaceable. She was his first friend when he moved to Ocean Bluff, she was the one to find out about his Wolf Problem(tm), she was the one who gave him solid advice when he needed it. RJ is Fran's biggest fan, her number one, anything she needs because RJ loves her and he'd do anything for her. There's nothing Fran could do that would make RJ still loving her. Nothing.

At the end of “Friends Don’t Fade Away”, there is a quick look at the primary trio in civilian attire.  I like Lily’s top, while the guys are layered up and prone to plaid.  As much as it’s (rightfully, admittedly) joked about Rangers wearing a single color, sometimes I have to appreciate the variety the costumers can find within that limitation.  Especially in contrast to seasons where limited wardrobe is typically in play.

Sadly, Fran is stuck in her work uniform.

Power Rangers fic update!

Did I just drop the second chapter of a fic after a six year gap? Yes, yes I did. Goes to show you that you should never unsubscribe from fics even after it looks like they've been abandoned.

Anyway, here is the second chapter of Power Rangers Project Orion, my legacy series to Power Rangers and more specifically Power Rangers Jungle Fury as this is from the POV of Abby, Theo and Lily's daughter, as she becomes the tech and pseudo-mentor to a new Power Rangers team, ft. a female red ranger and a female green ranger (hey, the first chapter was posted back in 2018, when we had yet to have a female green ranger). Also Abby is aromantic, which is a lot of fun to explore in a soulmate AU!

This second chapter I'd had at least a third of written six years ago, but it has taken an agonizingly long time to get the rest of it out. But hey, it's finally here!
