Unfriendly reminder that transphobia against transmen and sexism are very tightly intertwined, and I would love for more people to understand that.
They don't want transmen transitioning because it's "ruining a perfectly healthy body", this idea usually being connected to fertility as if it is unconsolably connected to the worth of female bodies.
They don't want transmen to identify as men because then they can't make transmen perfect little wives but also have a harder time feeding them toxic masculinity bullshit.
They don't want transmen to exist because our existence goes against the idea of a perfect gender binary/stereotype, and sexists want to be able to define women so they can put them into tight boxes (this goes for their hostility towards transwomen too).
It's not a coincidence that TERFS who claim to be for women often reveal themselves to only be for a specific type of women, mostly being women who, physically, fit feminine stereotypes. They want to be able to tell people in female bodies what to do with said bodies, and that's what it comes down to.

What if Storm was Quare? Muslim?
So! Let me be clear: This isn’t a recommendation that we should do this, nor do I want to sound presumptuous. I’m just speculation on the sociological and Intersectional observations and analyses we could have of the character in these cases.
What if Storm was Quare? So, for those of you knew, Quare is commonly cited as a AAVE pronunciation of Queer, at least etymologically. With that said, Quare Studies is a little bit different than Queer Studies, though not inconsistently so. Quare refers to the racialized sexuality and the sexualized race of queer people of color. So, the question remains, what is Storm was quare? Storm is a deeply storied character, but a notable point is she really doesn’t have a classic love interest. She’s been with Wolverine, Black Panther, and Angel here and there, but it’s not like Cyclops and Jean Grey, or Rogue and Gambit, or Nightcrawler and Scarlet Witch. Storm’s love interests come and go. This could be read as her not fully allowing herself to get close to men? Perhaps she’s sapphic. Storm has certainly been both a femme and a butch over her history. Perhaps she’s not sure who she loves, or how she loves? Also, when you consider her proudness of her body, that certainly correlates with the excitement many transwomen have to show of their bodies. Plus, as an African woman, Storm would have an already harder time relating to white queers, so Quare as a racialized identity may be appealing to her? And perhaps she takes the classes and Teaches Quare Studies as an elective at the Institute? Maybe

What if Storm was Muslim? This is an interesting one. First thing, let’s address Islam and Africa. Storm is originally from Kenya, and Islam makes up about 6% of Kenyan’s religious beliefs, so it’s not impossible she’d get it there. Though more likely, she’d have picked it up in Egypt during her years as a homeless pickpocket (many people turn to religion during times of hardship). Now, let me be clear, I’m fully aware not all Muslim Women wear hijabs, but if Storm did, it’d be a very interesting take. Storm’s white hair is iconic, but its also been one of the biggest criticism of the character over the years. It’s mostly straight, being devoid of Black hair texture, and even keeping a Black woman from having dark hair at all has been criticized. So if a modern writer gave Storm a hijab, it’d be…not a fix exactly, but perhaps an acknowledgement of that criticism. That being said, Storm was worshipped as a goddess when she returned to Kenya, and I doubt a practicing Muslim would let that happen, so that would be a conflict (unless of course she converted as an adult)

Couldn’t Storm wear this with a hijab over it?

If you’re still answering questions about your outlast opinions I was wondering how you feel about Val? I think they have a lot of wasted potential and the in game mystery about their gender has unfortunate implications anyway you look at it but I was wondering your thoughts?
First I’m always open to talk about Outlast for forever all the time any time.
Second, oh boy do I have opinions on Val.
You mostly summed it up pretty well though. I feel like one of Outlast 2′s biggest pitfalls besides the story being a garbage fire, is that none of the villains were all that memorable when compared back to the base game and DLC. I personally feel like there were too many villains and none of them were given enough time to really shine and make a lasting impression.
With the base game, you have characters like Chris Walker, the constant threat that follows you everywhere and who you have a few really intense encounters with who dies in a spectacular way to showcase an even bigger immediate threat to your safety, the Walrider. There’s Trager, who had a short amount of screen time, but is bursting with personality and has quite a few notes and documents to really indicate who he was as a person. (fuck off comics for doing him a dirty). And that’s really... it, for base game bad guys. They’re effective and don’t overstay their welcome. The DLC kind of has a similar feel, there’s Frank, the cannibal who serves as the first real threat and blood-pumper. You encounter him a few times then he goes away... kind of weak but also kind of scary because there’s this lingering tension that he could come back and continue his chase. Then there’s Eddie Gluskin. The character that flips the table and instills in men the same fear that most women have with abusive men. It’s so satisfying to watch reactions to Eddie’s segments in the game because he makes men uncomfortable. Waylon is hobbled, and pursued by a man who wants to do horrible things to him, use him as an incubator for his seed. You’re called a slut, a whore, by a (for Outlast standards) nice looking man in a suit with an appealing voice. It’s great. Eddie’s section is great horror.
Now there’s Outlast 2. A game I think suffers from pacing issues and the fact that it’s just... too long. And there’s far too many antagonists. I love the idea of the dueling “factions”. The cult lead by Knoth and the counter cult lead by Val. That idea is neat. That Val was cast out and makes their own group of... zealots of sorts. If I wasn’t hellbent on rewriting most of the plot, I would say that that aspect should stay. It’s interesting. But the game never really gives you a chance to get to know Val and their counter cult, because they’re too busy giving you Knoth, Marta, Loutermilch, Nick and Laird, and general townspeople to avoid.
None of the villains are given enough screen time to really shine, and none of their single encounters are really stand out worthy. This is combined with the way that none of the villains die or are removed as a threat in a satisfying way. There’s no visceral joy like when Eddie is strung up and impaled by his own actions. The deaths in Outlast 2 just aren’t... equivalent to that, I feel. There isn’t an emotional catharsis and even Blake’s ending when compared to Miles’ falls a bit short. BUT those are critiques of Outlast 2 which wasn’t what this ask was about.
I think Val had the outstanding potential to be a really cool character. However, you also touched on my biggest complaint I have with their character. Way back when Outlast 2 first came out, I was pretty uneasy with the fandom immediately jumping to label Val as a transwoman. There really isn’t anything in canon to “confirm” this, yet it was added to the wiki early on anyways based on headcanons. Which happens with fan run wikis, esp on games with little to no canon to go off of. Red Barrels did not make this any better with their “Val is Val” tweet in response to questions regarding Val’s gender identity. I feel like this was a very, very, weak answer and pretty much a cop out. Either answer they would have given would have gotten them shit, so I can see why they chose the non-answer answer.
My biggest problem with stating that Val is a transwomen comes from the fact that Val is a rapist. They are a sexual abuser. I’m not saying transwomen or trans individuals in general cannot be villains. I would love to see more trans and queer villains who are canonically trans and queer and not just coded that way. HOWEVER. That being said, you have to be really, really, careful of what type of villain you’re doing. I’m a huge supporter of dark fiction, I’ll always defend it, and I’ll defend the right to write fucked up shit in your story. But you need to understand the implications of that fucked up stuff outside of the world you’ve created.
The fact of the matter is that before and during Outlast 2′s production, when it came out, and to this day, there has been a huge push to label real life transwomen as predators. Esp sexual predators. This is a real world issue that affects every transwomen who has ever tried to just exist in peace. So putting a transwomen character in your horror story who is specifically and near exclusively a sexual predator is... not great. Fictional worlds don’t exist in a vacuum. It is deeply important to make sure that you’re not reaffirming negative stereotypes of marginalized people. And Val reaffirms them all. If Val was any other type of villain I think I would like their character a hell of a lot more, instead of avoiding doing anything with them.
You can, of course, still like this character. I’m in no way saying you can’t. I mean shit, I’ve gone to bat for fucking Dr. Wernicke in the first game. But I really wish fandom had slowed down for a half a heartbeat and really thought through what they were implying and what they were accidentally supporting in the mad rush to make Val a transwomen in the popular headcanon. And it’s not all fandom’s fault, Red Barrels 100% wrote in that ambiguity, and they need to really work harder in any new project they do at not repeating this kind of mistake. Have queer villains, go for it, I would love to see it. But make sure you don’t give our community’s enemies more ammo to shoot at us with.

Lgbt manga pt.1
If you had to put up with my sorry ass for a few years then yes you know that I have been searching for lgbt mangas!! I put up with the pain of going through most genres that sexualize/fetishize gender identities and sexualities (like yaoi and gender bender) and reading mangas to find if they have lgbt content so you dont have to suffer the pain of trying to! Clown on this post and please face my wrath
Keep in mind that these aren’t in order of ratings!! Its just a list. I also give summaries of the plot, the things that make it lgbt, and some content warnings!!
Tumblr media
1. Welcome to Room #305! by Wanan
Kim Jung Hyun moves into an apartment (room #305) with a friend of a friend, named Kim Homo! Who (you guessed it) is gay! As Jung Hyung begins to live with Kim Homo, he slowly learns to accept him for his sexuality. Once he overcomes his homophobia and completely accepts him for who he is, other lgbt characters pop in too!! They all have their struggles with their identities, and it is very realistic, but the art style helps keep all that angst at bay! As far as english translations go, we have several lesbian characters, and a trans guy. You can read the english translation on several manga sites, but if you want the link to the original since this is a webcomic, here’s the [link]! Unfortunately english updates are very slow since translation teams have other projects, and legal companies who translate take their sweet precious time.
Tumblr media
2. Bokura no Hentai by Fumiko Fumi
The title might seem misleading, however it can be translated as “Our Transformation”! Buckle up buttercup cause this manga will fuck you over emotionally. Three crossdressers meet up after being in a crossdressing group, with different reasons as to why they crossdress. Parou crossdresses to fall in love with a straight guy, Marika is actually a trans woman, and Yui crossdresses as his dead sister to “help” his mother with her grieving. There are some other characters who don’t fit within the gender norms!
Now let me tell you if you are dealing with some trauma and can’t handle very sensitive topics, this manga might not be the one for you. Although it isnt just homophobia and transphobia, it also contains content of sexual harrassment, pedophilia, and suicide. However these topics are not glorified or sexualized. They are trauma of some of the characters and they must learn how to overcome from it individually. However, there is a happy ending for them!! Please let that be known! I enjoyed reading it if sobbing your heart out counts as enjoying it, because it has indeed pulled my heart strings (although I am not a trans woman, I am a trans guy and I can identify with only some of the things Marika goes through, as trans women go through different experiences than trans men and have it harder on them.)
Tumblr media
3. Hourou Musuko (Wandering Son) by Takako Shimura
This manga is one of the most well known mangas realistically depicting trans identity. It became popular when an anime adaptation came out! However the anime adaptation only covers the middle school part of our protagonists lives, however it encourages you to read the manga to find out what happens to them and their life! We have two protagonists. Shuichi who identifies as a girl, and Yoshino who identifies as a boy. Shuichi is the primary protagonist while Yoshino serves as a secondary protagonist.
This manga also realistically depicts how hard it is for transfeminine people to come out and be themselves while transmasculine people seem to have it easier (dont clown on this dear fuck). We have lesbian, gay, and genderfluid characters galore! Although they do have some touchy topics like transmisogyny and transphobia in general, it is less heavier than Bokura no Hentai.
Some people might not like the outcome of this story when it comes to Yoshino, however I am content with it because it shows that people should be able to explore their gender identity, and they are welcome to change it anytime as they see fit. Sometimes you won’t figure out your identity if you don’t explore.
Tumblr media
4. Shimanami Tasagore / Our Dreams at Dusk by Yuhki Kamatani
Also one of the more well known ones, the mangaka of this beautiful story is X-gender and asexual! It follows the protagonist, Tasuku is contemplating suicide as rumors circulate that he is gay at his highschool (he is). He sees a woman jumping off a building nearby and runs to her aid. Her name is Anonymous/Somebody and she sees herself is asexual but other than that she does not like labels, she invites Tasuku inside the building she just jumped off, which contains a group of exclusively lgbt characters.
We have both trans, lesbian, and gay people. We see their struggles. We see how they overcome it. We see how even we ourselves can harm others even if we’re both lgbt. Of course there is homohpobia, transphobia, etc. however it is all handled perfectly and we get the satisfaction of these characters speaking up for either themselves or for each other. I also love Anonymous simply because she doesn’t like labels and chooses not to use them (excluding the asexual part). Not everyone whos part of the lgbt community has a label, however they are still a part of us!
Tumblr media
5. Fukakai na boku no subete o (Fukaboku)/ Love me for who I am by Konayama Kata
Fukaboku is a very special manga to me, as it goes in depth on gender identity and sexuality. There are two protagonists, Tetsu who is a cis guy and supposedly straight (we later find out that he is not), and Mogumo, who is both intersex and nonbinary.
Tetsu works as a chef at Question Cafe, and everyone employed in fanlations are called girlyboys, however in the official translation they use otokonoko which is anyone crossdressing as a girl regardless of their gender. There are plenty of transwomen, gay people, etc.! Tetsu falls in love with Mogumo, so he isn’t straight, however he isn’t explicitly gay because he recognizes Mogumo as what they identify as, nonbinary. It is safe to say that he could either be pan, bi, omni, etc. however we can’t confirm since it hasn’t been explicitly stated.
We learn how transfeminine people have certain struggles, like shoes that dont fit them, breasts, and voice feminization. We also have a dose of family struggles when it comes to Mogumo in later/current chapters.
Before you dm me, yes. Yes I know about the shit prequel. The prequel actually features a gay couple in fukaboku. I have read it. Reluctantly even if it was only 24 pages. However just because the prequel is shit does not mean we should cancel Fukaboku. There is a thing called being critical of the content you’re enjoying. If we treated it like cancel y because of x, then things like persona 4 and danganronpa would be cancelled, but lets not get into that.
Tumblr media
6. Kanojo ni Naritai Kimi to Boku by Umi Takase
I haven’t heard of this one as much as I have the others, so I was very much pleased when I heard about this! There are two protagonist (yes there are a lot of lgbt mangas with two protags I’ve noticed too), Hime and Akira. Hime has a crush on Akira, who identifies as a girl. However this manga is also realistic, as Akira doesn’t fully ‘pass’ as a girl herself. Hime wants to do anything she can to help Akira feel comfortable on her first day of school wearing a girl’s uniform. Because of Akira being made fun of, Hime shows up to school in Akira’s male uniform to help Akira in solidarity.
Their teachers are fully aware of Akira’s situation, however instead of discriminating her they accept her. Their homeroom teacher helps Hime overcome her internal problem about lashing out at others who try to befriend Akira, and she slowly realizes that just because people can’t accept Akira straight away, they will slowly get used to her and come to terms with the fact that Akira is trans in their own time rather than have it being forced on them.
Hime and Akira make friends slowly and we see that even little things (like calling Akira cute and/or a girl) helps Akira, even if theyre small things we dont usually notice. Hime also struggles with her crush as she sees Akira as a girl, yet she cant accept the fact that shes attracted to girls.
Although Akira doesnt feel the same way as Hime does, she doesnt just like her as a friend, but also not as a lover either. Its safe to say that these two have a quasiplatonic relationship with each other.
Tumblr media
7. Yuzu no Koto by Arai Shou
I have noticed that there are plenty of mangas with transfeminine characters as the focus, rather than transmasculine, so heres one for the transmasculines! Ichigo’s best friend Yuzu comes back to school, however he is enrolling as a boy! It is very humorous as Ichigo tries to understand and get used to her best friend’s new identity. Although it is slow as each chapter is a single page, it is hinted that Yuzu has a crush on Ichigo (or if thats just me squinting really hard).
Tumblr media
8. Ohana Holoholo by Torino Shino
It is a story about two bi women who are ex-girlfriends, raising one of the women’s baby together as a little family! There is also an idol/actor who helps them out and visits them occassionally! If you want something warming and wholesome, this is the manga for you!!
Tumblr media
9. My Androgynous Boyfriend by Tamekou
Wako, a woman who works for a publishing company is in a relationship with an androgynous/genderless man! Her boyfriend wears dresses, makeup, and is an instagram model! It is not necessarily treated as crossdressing. It is handled pretty well, and the chemistry between Wako and her boyfriend is very strong. They both love each other so much and help each other with their hobbies and interests. This is what a loving and healthy relationship is supposed to look like!!
Tumblr media
10. Inside Mari by Shuzo Oshimi
It is debatable if this is actually considered lgbt, considered the circumstances, however I put it on this list because it shows how mental illnesses and disorders really feel to the person whos suffering from it. Please read throughout this whole section to understand why.
Inside Mari is about a man named Isao who stalks this young girl named Mari. He follows her back outside of a little convenience store, but when she turns back and looks at him he wakes up inside her body and doesn’t know how to cope with it. He tries to find Mari while putting on a facade and living as her. He meets a girl named Yori who instantly recognizes that Isao isn’t actually Mari from his mannerisms. This girl has had a crush on Mari, just like Isao. Isao tries to prove to Yori that he switched bodies, and when he goes to his apartment, he finds someone living as him, but it isn’t Mari.
The more we delve into this manga, the more we figure out exactly what happened to Mari and Isao. As Isao and Yori visit and retrace his steps, Isao gets flashbacks to memories of Mari. Isao soon realizes that he isn’t actually the real Isao, but a introject of Isao, and that Mari actually has DID because of childhood trauma. The ending is bittersweet, as Mari comes back but Isao unfortunately becomes dormant/disappears since I don’t think what happened was them merging.
Tumblr media
11.  Seibetsu  "Mona Lisa" No Kimi He by Yoshimura Tsumuji
In the world, people can choose what gender they want to be when they’re 12. When they’re 14 their appearance corresponds to their gender. Hinase however, is 18 years old and they still haven’t chosen a gender. They prefer to be neither. However when their two best friends suddenly confess to them, their hormonal development suddenly starts to increase.
Imagery and symbolism is very clear in this manga!! As we revolve around the color blue/cyan and the debate and interpretations of Mona Lisa’s gender. I’m very hopeful that Hinase will stay as nonbinary rather than choosing a gender, simply because both of their best friends confessed and asked them to become the opposite gender to be with them. It is very much hinted that Hinase will be in a romantic relationship with their male best friend however. I love this manga simply because the protagonist doesn’t want to identify as either male nor female.
Tumblr media
12. Jun And Kaoru: Pure And Fragrant by Neiki Zui
Jun and Kaoru have a special condition, by midnight they both switch genders. Because they both have this condition, they hang out with each other and help each other with clothing, etc. It should be addressed that these two do not have the “I wish to be a girl/boy” etc. The problem that they have though is their growing crush on each other. They are either genderqueer, or genderfluid, or whatever you prefer since it isn’t directly stated within the manga. They’re not cis or straight! It is a very fun and comedic love story and I wish to see further updates on it!!!
Tumblr media
13. Sakura-Chan to Amane-Kun by Asazuki Norito
This story revolves around Sakura who identifies as a girl and Amane who identifies as a boy. Amane spots Sakura dressed as a girl and instantly recognizes her, however instead of belittling her he asks her out on a date, only if she goes as a girl. During school however, they have to pretend to be the gender theyre assigned with while not interacting with each other.
Since there is a lot more but I dont want to break tumblr, I will be making a part 2 and I’ll post it tomorrow!

so I watched another few episodes of steben poontangiverse at some point
Steven insults Aqua, gets "is that how you flattered gems to join you?" Yeah, it would be nice if Steven learned he has to be nice to people to spread love and shit and not just expect them to br nice to him cough that shit ronaldo episode cough After more shitting on Lars for not getting himself killed for stronk helpless Sadie, Steven apparently expects him to grow Luffy arms to get the destabilizers, without even telling him what the fuck they are- I mean what he's actually looking for, what they look like, not useless information about what they do- and yelling at him for not hopping to on this impossible and incomprehensible task, and its not made out like Steven's losing his shit or anything. We get it already, for fucks sake...
... Though once we get past that bullshit, it's actually a touching moment. Even Topaz turning out to be a sap with a valley girl voice works suprisingly well. The next few episodes put together a nice little story of Lars admitting his limitations and subsequently finding his balls. And then Topaz disappears into the sarlac pit of irrelevancy k bye
... whait why the fuCK DIDN'T STEVEN JUST BUBBLESHIELD INFLATION HIS WAY OUT OF TOPAZ AGAIN LIKE HE DID BEFORE FUCKING GOD DAMN IT
Fusion induces sentimentality, even same-gem fusions? This could actually have some interesting implications... I'd kind of imagine fusion is gem's equivalent of sexual reproduction- not like that, but something that would drive development of societal traits on an evolutionary level. That is, being capable of getting along well enough with another gem to form a fusion easily and often is a benefit, so those gems would survive better and presumably try to pass those traits on to newer gems to ensure the survival of their species. Then the Diamonds clamp down on fusion not because muh gay metaphors but because gems having these emotions towards each other makes them harder to control and turn into loyal little ruthless soldiers... but a benefit written into their species for so long isn't so easy to remove, so some gems are still drawn to fusion while others are made to have a feels by fusing where it's allowed (I guess same-gem fusions are less emotional and also less beneficial or something. idk) But, knowing this show, it's going to be all gems should have sentimentality without question, and also fusions are special becuase they make a gems have a feels, therefore all gems are equal but fusing gems are more special than others. You know, like how femtards insist men should be sissy like women and genderspecials for that gender equality but still parade around black female disabled transwomen of color as the genderiest of the gendered... I have no idea what I'm trying to say with this.
Love it when the other gems misgender Steven. But of course it;s okay when magic lesbains do it to a cissy man because reeeeeeasonths-
Thze Trial- wasn't this opening line used in the trailers in a dramatic fashion? Unless it's being recycled here from an earlier episode, they've fucked shit up again- it's subverted and made pointless and flaccid, because nothing of any drama or worth can be accomplished in this show without undermining it and making it pathetic. Why does this keep happening?
evil face rose in the files because why idk Why bother giving Steven a proper lawyer when they're just going to steamroll him, and why tell the lawyer gem they're going to shatter her if she fails when that's exactly what they want to happen? Besides forcing this plot to happen because Sugar and co wanted to press the court plot button- oops that's exactly what happen innit yellow and blue diadomd succing necc while waiting for the trial to start apparently. mmm sister-on-sister dictatorial action kinky
You'd think Steven saying he has no memories from before x years ago would be both relevant and important here, but it's never brought up during the actual trial...
... I actually do like the idea that Rose shattering Pink is the subject of some conspiracy theory, one that goes above the Diamonds themselves, where they don't actually know the details of the event and Blue is desperate to find out. Though even that isn't working very well- the implication is that Rose couldn't have shattered PD with her rose sword, but she could have used pretty much any sword-like blunt object to shatter PD. How'd she get past the guards, especially pink's Pearl? Just replace them with gems on her own side. I mean half the fandom already thinks our Pearl was Pinks anyway, just make it canon boom it's done. And we have Eyeball's outright witness testimony that Rose was there shattering Pink. What is there to actually be suspicious about?
The next episode that comes after that one: the broken ugly loser gems are oppressed we get it already Padparadpadchapadpadcha in particular is hilariously useless. I get shoddy gems banding together in fusions to achieve enough worth and basic functionality to continue existing, but she's just... well, useless. You'd think she'd have learned already that her visions are pointless and shut the fuck up- she'd have had a lifetime to figure this out, but since she's only just been introduced to the audience repeating the same thing over and over again is still "funny". If she's still worth something despite failing at the one job expected of Sapphire-type gems, it would help if you showed her being good at something besides making the same dumb joke over and over but nooooooooooooo-- This does not, however, explain the simple two-gem fusion who seems comparatively selfish in that she could live just as well apart and is only outcasting herself for the sake of her feels. Real-life oppressed gays and trannies or whatever don't typically go around flaunting it every waking second- since, you know, they're fucking oppressed. Just defuse and only fuse when there's no one around to want to shatter you you stupid fucks- And Flourite's gem hoarding fetish is just... ooh boy that's creepy. why the fucl does she have to talk so slow too the other fusion even manterrupted her once because she coulnd't hurry the fucc up jesys ... Actually, I'm not even sure the gems comprising Fluorite and the other one are supposed to be shit gems in the first place. It's sort of implied, but given... this show, I wouldn't be surprised if there's no reason for them to be outcasts aside from their lifestyle choices. Why are some gems like Garnet and this basically just garnet but with frilly sleeves so drawn to fusion, anyway? Is it a mental illness? I can't imagine all gems are supposed to feel compelled to make themselves one with another gem constantly, submerging their own selves in creation of a semi-autonomous third party...
then: So uh now Steven has healing tears I guess
So this is the """explanation""" for Lion. Rose's powers bringing things back to life turns them pink- okay, makes sense, her whole theme color is pink- and turns their hair into a connected pocket dimension that has no air and a tree. WHAT?
Okay, we all fucking knew Rose had created Lion herself somehow because of fucking course she did, her having used healing powers as part of it isn't a stretch, but it's pretty fucking clear she would have had to engineer most of those specific traits and abilities. The pocket dimension is one thing, the roar portals (roartals? no, this show doesn't even deserve puns) are another, and on top of all that the tree in the hair dimension seems like it would have been something Rose would have to plant like everything else she left in there. So why the fuck does bringing someone back to life with healing powers INHERENTLY come with all this other shit?? Even the fucking tree??
And on top of all that, this takes the wind out of the sails on finding out where Lion came from. It's the simplest, least interesting backstory, making the least possible use of Lion's traits and any hints given previously beyond like I dunno he's pink and also Rose is pink and healing bodily fluids. I think the concept of Rose engineering this herself is even already dead, as there's only two trees in the hairspace, ruling our any previous tests she might have run. Unless there's just like some little shrubbery sitting way out there in pinkspace.
so basically fuck this show. when's the next episodes on
