#maria deluca is a bad friend

How can Miluca fans think that they were always the endgame and that Michael always chose her. And that she was always his main love interest. Like what version of the show do they watch. Malex have been IT since the pilot.
I have...literally everything about m*luca blocked so I haven't seen this take but like....for real what show are they watching?! The pilot episode specifically parallels Malex and Echo. Max and Michael are stuck in Roswell, Liz and Alex come back at the same time after being away, we see Max talking about loving Liz since they were teens, we see Michael looking at the picture of him and Alex when they were teens, Max and Liz have a moment at the reunion, Michael and Alex have a moment at the reunion, like, what is not clicking?! And actually, the more we learn, the more firmly Malex are established even over Echo! They had some moments but were never together, never kissed or anything, and she was actually dating someone else most of the time, where as Malex were friends and getting closer while both being single, Michael was staying in Alex’s shed, they had a first kiss and a first time, and even after that we see them continuing to see each other until Alex left for the military, and it’s implied that he came back or at least kept in some kind of contact with Michael over the years, where as it’s established with Echo that Max had not seen her or had any contact in the 10 years since she left.
What does m*luca have? Her being ashamed of Michael (not trying to protect him like Alex was doing) and talking down to/about him at all times? Threatening him if he tells anyone she’s slumming with him? Taking everything he gives trying to prove he can be good enough for someone to stay while giving him absolutely nothing but derision in return? Some kind of “love story” you got there 🙄 Just say you got dumped once and now you fantasize about making men grovel for you no matter how badly you treat them, and go.

Michael Guerin Deserves Better Than This Shit
I love both Michael and Alex, and I especially love Malex. I have my crack ships pairing them with other people, but there's no other ship I want more in canon than Malex. That being said, I get really annoyed with Alex stans (I use the word stans instead of fans because they are usually crazy fans who only love Alex and low key seem to hate Michael) who act like Michael is some monster for having dated Maria and like Alex should have been furious with him. Now, I hate Miluca as a ship and Maria DeLuca as a character, so it's not about liking the ship as one of my crack pairings. No, it's all about the fact that for ten years, Alex walked away from Michael. For ten years, Alex broke Michael's heart (I know he had his reasons for his actions and I understand them, but this is still what happened). And for a matter of weeks, Michael dates someone else (because he was not actually with Maria in canon for more than a few weeks and it was, as she said, on a non-exclusive trial basis), and suddenly he's some big bad monster who hurt Alex beyond repair? Sorry, but no. He doesn't deserve to be hated for that. Not when you don't dislike Alex for leaving him over and over again for a decade. You know who Alex should be angry at, though? Maria. He has no right to be angry with Michael for not believing he would stay this time and for trying to move on with someone else (not saying he can't feel hurt, but he doesn't have a right to be angry with Michael the way some stans wanted him to be). But he can be angry with Maria for getting together with Michael after finding out about him being in love with him when she claims to be Alex's best friend. Alex can be angry with Maria all he wants because she was a crappy friend, but being angry with Michael for dating someone else, no matter who that person was, would only make him look like an ass, which is probably why he had no anger toward Michael on the show. The people who think he should be angry with Michael look like hypocrites, especially since many of them happily also ship Alex with Forrest or Kyle or sometimes even Max, Michael's brother. So, what? Only Alex is allowed to be happy with someone else when the love of his life leaves him? Michael just has to suffer? This post is not supposed to be anti Alex. I love him and don't actually think he did anything wrong in canon. What I'm calling out is the behavior of his stans, which is really not cool. Michael doesn't deserve that bullshit, and I think if Alex was a real person, he'd be pissed at anyone who thought Michael deserved for him to be angry with him and to suffer the way some fic writers try to make him.
Also, if you disagree, know you won't change my mind on this, so don't waste your time typing something out to rant at me, okay? I'll probably just delete your reply without finishing reading it. Maria DeLuca stans DNI. Miluca stans DNI. Crazy Alex stans who hate Michael even though that means Alex would hate you, DNI.

Maria ponders what to do now after sleeping with Max and Liz.
word count: 6420
rating: explict
characters: Kyle Valenti, Max Evans, Liz Ortecho, Maria DeLuca
pairings: Maria/Max/Liz, brief mentions of Maria/Kyle
other notes: this is the dirtiest thing I've ever written lmao
Kyle has come by the bar after a long shift at work. Maria hesitates to say anything, but she feels like she needs an outsiders opinion to get any clarity on the situation.
"So… the person I have feelings for – the person who made me realize things just weren't clicking with us – I might have kinda hooked up with them…"
Kyle nearly chokes on his drink. "What? Oh my God, that's great!"
Maria grimaces. "Is it? The situation just feels too complicated. Like, we've been friends for so long and it just kind of impulsively happened."
"So, you didn't talk at all about it?"
"Kinda. They said they want to pursue this further, but I kinda chickened out of the conversation because I just can't imagine it working."
"Hmmm. Well… was the sex bad?"
"Are you kidding? It was incredible. The thought that I'm never gonna have that experience with them again is agonizing."
"I don't see your reason for hesitating then."
"I can't bear the thought of messing things up with them. If I do, I'm not just losing one person."
"Who says you'll mess things up? Maybe you just need to ignore your fears and take the leap. Maybe things can only get better."
Maria seems a bit surprised by this response, and pours herself a shot, quickly downing it.
Kyle looks at her with concern. "Are you no longer sure of your feelings?"
Maria scoffs. "What? No. I've never felt this way about anyone else before."
Kyle gingerly touches her arm. "Then don't let your fears scare you away from something that could be amazing."
Maria averts her gaze and finds herself staring at her hands. Kyle smiles again. "Just… Promise you'll think about what I said. And, I don't want you to feel pressured to share things on someone else's schedule, but I do want you to give me an update when you're ready."
He starts to stand up. "Well, I should get going. I've got an early shift tomorrow and I probably shouldn't have been out this late."
He kisses Maria on the cheek. "Get home safe, Dr. Valenti."
He smiles at her. "Goodnight, Maria."
Kyle wanders out of the bar. Now that she's alone, Kyle's words repeat in her mind. The longer Maria thinks of his words of encouragement, the more ridiculous it seems to run away from these feelings. If she felt half as strongly about one person, she wouldn't hesitate to pursue a relationship with them. Why is she hesitating when it's two people?
She needs to talk to Max and Liz. Now.
-------------------------------------------------------
It's pitch black outside and pouring rain. Maria's fist pounds on the door of Max and Liz's place.
It feels like an eternity before the door opens, Max and Liz are in pajamas, puzzled to see a drenched Maria standing before them in the middle of the night. Before either of them can say anything, Maria pulls Max into a kiss. He seems surprised at first, but quickly matches her fervor as his hands slide to her back and he pulls her closer.
Maria pulls away slightly, their noses still brushing and turns her gaze towards Liz. They both lean closer until they're kissing passionately.
Once the kiss ends, Maria whispers, "Yes. Let's try this."
Liz leans her head back and laughs. "Thank God. Max and I would have followed your lead and respected whatever decision you came to, but we absolutely hated the idea of going back to the way things were before."
Max echoes Liz's relief. "The way you hurried off that morning… We were trying to brace ourselves for rejection."
It's Maria's turn to laugh. "Sorry, I needed a few days to think it over."
Max grabs one of her hands. "No need to apologize. We told you to take as much time as you needed to get your answer. And it's a big decision, it's probably a good thing you spent so long thinking it over. Even if it was torture for us."
Maria cups Max's face with her other hand, her thumb stroking his cheek. "Apologies for making you expect the worst. I didn't intend to cause you distress."
Liz smiles. "Babe, don't worry about it. It's water under the bridge now. What made you change your mind?"
Maria shrugs. "It's like Max said. I can only determine if I want this and I'm willing to take the leap. And I do. I want both of you. In every way. I don't want to pretend otherwise just because I'm worried things might fall apart."
Max smiles, "Well, I'm glad my advice was helpful."
He pulls Maria and Liz into a hug, and the physical contact makes all of them register how wet Maria's clothes are after standing in the rain. They all pull away, just enough so that they can make eye contact. Liz giggles, "Let's get you out of these clothes before we're all freezing cold and soaked."
Maria smiles mischievously. "Only if you join me in undressing."
Max feels his mouth go dry, suddenly processing how eager he is to return to the bedroom, hoping for another lengthy night.
He kisses Maria again, it's all heat and tongue this time. Maria's hands thread through his hair as she presses close to his body. Once she pulls away, Max helps Maria peel off her shirt, and his quickly follows. They then turn towards Liz, and Maria asks, "Can I take this off?"
Liz nods, breathless. "Please."
Maria pulls off Liz's shirt, her breasts fully free now, and Maria's hands quickly start to caress her. Liz whines. "I almost said no to the opportunity to touch you like this again. What a foolish decision that would've been."
Liz moans, feeling herself getting wetter, her cunt aching with need. Maria leans in and kisses her, Liz's tongue eagerly entering her mouth. Maria then starts to leave a trail of kisses as she travels lower, to Liz's neck, then to her breasts.
Liz cups the back of Maria's head as she feels her knees start to go weak and buckle. Max is suddenly beside her, helping Liz stay upright. "Ladies, as much as I hate to interrupt, we should probably take this to the bedroom before things progress any further. I think having sex on the floor will come back to bite us in the morning."
Maria laughs, a little bit of frustration slipping through. "An untimely but warranted interruption."
She grabs their hands and starts to lead the two of them towards the bedroom. Once inside, Maria turns her attention back to Liz. "Now, where were we?"
Maria captures Liz’s lips in a kiss, immediately turning open-mouthed. As Maria's gaze starts to drift lower, Maria says, "God, I love your body."
Maria's tongue starts to give attention to Liz's breasts and Liz moans, her breathing already speeding up. Through gasps, Liz says, "I love your body, too. I love the way we fit together and how it feels when we're pressed against each other."
As Maria's mouth continues to give ample attention to her chest, Liz stumbles back towards the dresser, gripping the edge. Most practical thoughts have left Liz's head long ago, her mind focusing on Maria's mouth and her hands, but she knows she's going to collapse if she has to rely on her legs right now. "Wait, wait. Help me get onto the dresser."
It's at this moment that Maria registers the dresser's existence and notices it has a mirror. She makes a mental note to herself that she'll have to make use of that later as she helps Liz situate herself. After a bit of fumbling around, Liz is sitting on the dresser, Maria standing between her parted legs. Maria laughs, "Better?"
Liz kisses her deeply, her tongue sliding into Maria's mouth. "Much. Now, what were you wanting to do?"
Maria smiles as her hand slowly drifts to Liz's cunt, touching her over the fabric of her pajama pants. "Well, that depends. Can I remove these?"
"Do whatever you want to me."
Maria rewards that response with a kiss as she quickly pulls off the pajama pants. She slowly kisses her way down Liz's body, as she slips a couple fingers inside Liz's cunt. "God, you're so fucking delicious. And so wet for me already. I can't wait to have you in my mouth."
Liz's head is spinning with how desperately she wants Maria's mouth on her cunt already. Maria's thumb swipes her clit and Liz trembles, her voice barely above a whisper. "Please."
Liz begging for a release goes straight to Maria's cunt. Maria has the thought that she needs both of them to pound her until she's sore before the night is over. She wants to feel their handiwork for days. But Maria's nothing if not a tease. Her thumb continues rubbing circles. Maria feigns confusion, "Say that again."
Liz bucks against Maria's hand and whimpers. She speaks again, louder this time. "Please."
And with that Maria's burying her head between Liz's legs. Liz yells almost immediately as Maria starts tonguing her clit. "Fuck!"
Maria and Liz both moan as Maria's hands start to wander Liz's body. Liz's grip on the dresser tightens, and her cries get louder as Maria continues. It doesn't take much longer before Liz comes, with a scream that echoes through the whole house. As Liz is coming back down from the orgasm, Maria leaves kisses on the inside of her thighs, her hands still traveling Liz's body. "God, you taste so fucking good. And I love the sounds you make when you're getting eaten out. I want to do this every fucking day."
Liz is practically ready to come again just from that thought. She leans down to kiss Maria, tongues pressed together, both of them clearly still in this lustful haze. "Your tongue is fucking magic."
Liz kisses her again. "I know Max and I already admitted that we hated the idea of not being with you –" Liz kisses Maria's neck, as her hands drift to Maria's breasts, cupping them over her bra. She starts to nip and suck at Maria's pulse point, as her hands start to get busy, causing Maria to release a moan. Liz returns her gaze to Maria's face, "And this relationship definitely means more to us than sex, but… fucking you was sublime."
Liz kisses the other side of Maria's neck, giving it similar attention. Maria's hands fly to the back of Liz's head, fingers threading through her waves. Liz pulls away and continues, "I never wanted it to end. The idea of not being with you like this again was devastating to us. These past few days, every time I thought about you, I was wet."
Liz places a kiss on Maria's collarbone. "Your mouth." Another kiss. "Your hands." Liz's mouth starts to drift lower. "Your breasts." And lower. "Your cunt. You're so fucking luscious."
Maria moans again, eager to draw another orgasm out of Liz. Liz gently grabs one of Maria's hands and guides it to her cunt. "Can you feel it? How fucking wet you make me? Just knowing that I have the opportunity to fuck you again has me aching for a release."
Liz's hands continue to caress Maria's breasts, her nipples hardening from Liz's touch. Maria can't help herself and she dips a couple fingers in Liz's cunt in response, wanting to make Liz feel as good as she's making her feel. Liz rocks against her fingers and groans. Through heavy breaths, Liz says, "What can I do for you? As eager as I am for you to make me come again this quickly, I don't think it's fair that I haven't gotten you off yet."
It's at this question that Maria recalls the fleeting idea she had when she spotted the mirror. Maria gives Liz one final tease as she leans in to kiss her. "As much as I'd love that, I'm guessing Max would like to join in."
Maria and Liz both turn their gaze towards Max, still standing by the bed. He's painfully hard after this display, and given the way the two women hungrily stare at his crotch, he's guessing they can probably tell. Normally he'd be embarrassed about his erection tenting his boxers, but given their heavy gaze, he knows they want him to fuck them until they've forgotten everything beyond his cock. And he's eager to comply.
Max makes his way over to the two of them, standing a few inches away from Maria. His voice is gravelly when he speaks. "What do you want me to do?"
"I want to watch you fuck me. You and Liz look so fucking hot together when you're inside her. I want to see how we look."
If Max wasn't already painfully hard, the idea of watching their reflections in the mirror would do it for him. Liz and Maria are always gorgeous when he's watching them ride out their orgasms, but something about the voyeuristic aspect of using the mirror has him struggling to form a coherent thought.
Liz stumbles her way off the dresser and quickly sits in the chair by the wall, eager to watch them. Maria turns her gaze back to the mirror and guides Max's hands to her breasts. He squeezes them through the fabric of her bra and Maria groans, her hands dropping to her sides. Max focuses on Maria's reflection as he touches her, watches the way she spasms as his thumbs rub circles around her areolas, her nipples already sensitive from the way Liz had just been touching her.
Maria leans back, their faces next to each other now. Maria moans in his ear. "God, we look so fucking good together."
Max grunts, "We do."
Max unclasps her bra, hating that there's a barrier keeping him from touching her properly. He quickly discards it, and resumes touching Maria. She moans again and her ass grinds against his cock. Max inhales sharply, as his right hand palms a breast, squeezing and rubbing, while his left hand pinches the nipple of her other breast between tracing circles with his thumb. Maria's gaze is still locked on their reflections, "You're so fucking good with your hands. You're gonna make me come just from touching me like this."
Max's eyes darken, his gaze returning to meet hers. "Good. I want to watch you come like this. You're stunning when you orgasm."
Maria has the impulse to start fingering her clit while Max continues with his hands on her breasts, but the more dominant part of her brain wants to hold out for Max getting inside her. She wants her first orgasms of the night to come solely from him. His fucking incredible hands and his equally fucking incredible cock. Between these thoughts and Max's touch, Maria's comes quickly, yelling Max's name as she does.
Max groans again. "Fuck. I don't think I'll ever be used to hearing you scream my name."
"I bet you will if you make me scream like this every night."
Max doesn't know how much harder he can possibly get, but apparently he's not as his limit yet as he feels more blood rushing to his cock. "God, I want to do that for you. I never want to stop making you come."
Max pushes down her skirt as he kisses her neck, his teeth gently scraping her skin. The skirt pools at her feet and Maria steps out of it and kicks it towards the wall. His gaze travels her body, completely naked excluding her panties now. "Fuck. I doubt you need me to tell you, but you're so exquisite, Maria. Being able to witness you like this is a privilege, and it's a blessing that you think I'm worthy of it."
Maria groans. "God, at this rate you're gonna make me come again just from your words."
Max's voice is strained, "That's really enough for you?"
"It is when it's coming from you. I know every single word is genuine. It’s why you make me so fucking wet."
Max groans as he buries his face in her neck. Maria continues, "I bet Liz could say the same. You're so fucking good to us."
At this rate they're both going to come before he gets the chance to get inside her. Max's hand starts trailing lower until it reaches her cunt, teasing her through her underwear and Maria bucks against him. "Enough. I need you to get inside me. Now."
And with that, Max rushes to pull off his boxers. He wants nothing more than to fulfill Maria's desires, but he hesitates. "Are you sure you're ready? Normally I'll get someone off with my hands at least before we get to this stage."
"Max, even if I wasn't ready, I'd still be asking you to get inside me. I've been wet since before we got to the bedroom, and I've only gotten wetter since we got in here. Plus, given we all know you're hard already, do you really want to postpone feeling it on your cock?"
With that, Max rushes to pull down her panties and slips inside her. Maria groans loudly as she reaches for the edge of the dresser for support. "Fuck!"
Max grunts. "I could say the same. You feel so good."
Once Max finds a steady rhythm, his left hand quickly finds her clit. Maria shrieks and squeezes her eyes shut, breaking her gaze away from the mirror for the first time. "Max! Fuck! Yes, fuck me exactly like that!"
Liz's cunt throbs as she watches them, desperate for something to clench around. The only thing stopping Liz from using her hands is that she'd much rather have Max fuck her exactly like he's fucking Maria so she can come around his cock. They hear the not so distant sound of thunder. Max groans, his thumb rubbing circles against Maria's clit matching the speed of his thrusts, as his right hand settles on her hip. Maria's gaze returns to the mirror, watches the way he thrusts into her, while his hand works her cunt. Through gasps, she says, "God, watching you fuck me almost rivals experiencing it. You said it's a blessing to see me like this, but the real blessing is that I get to fuck you. I have the pleasure to experience your cock reaching deep inside me over and over and over again."
Max grunts, and, suddenly, lightning strikes near the house. Liz practically jumps out of the chair, startled, but Max and Maria barely seem to register it. Max puts more power into his thrusts, his thumb never leaving Maria's clit. "Yes! It feels so fucking right when you're inside me. Fuck me until I'm sore. I want to feel you for days."
Max's right hand starts to travel Maria's body as she pushes back against him, allowing Max to reach even deeper inside her. "Fuck!"
Max almost sounds like he's being strangled when he speaks, "You're telling me."
It only takes a couple more thrusts before Maria yells as she reaches her peak, constricting around him. Max joins her shortly after.
Liz is in a bit of a daze, but she manages to take a few steps closer to them. Her voice is low as she asks, "Was that you?"
It takes Max a moment to pick up on Liz's meaning. "I think it might've been."
The sound of thunder rings out again, definitely closer this time. Max pulls out and Maria quickly collapses onto the bed. Max seems a bit embarrassed now, dropping his gaze to the floor. "I didn't know I could apparently turn a rainy night into a thunderstorm."
Liz cups his face, making sure he meets her gaze, her pupils blown wide with lust. "Don't be embarrassed. Losing control of your powers is proof of how much we affect you. Proof that you love fucking us as much as we love fucking you. Besides, I need you to fuck me the way you just fucked Maria."
Now it's Max's turn to feel dazed. Liz's hands drift towards his cock, her grip gentle but firm as she slowly strokes him. "What can I do to make you hard again? Do you want my mouth? After watching the two of you, my cunt is plenty wet for you, but clearly you need another moment before you're ready again."
Max bucks against her hand as her thumb starts to rub circles against the head. "Liz…"
Liz repeats the question, speaking slowly, "Do you want my mouth?"
Maria is too worn out to do much of anything beyond watching them, but her cunt throbs with the way Liz is talking. It reminds her how desperately she wants Liz to fuck her senseless.
Max groans. Liz continues, "I want you in my mouth. And I bet Maria would enjoy watching you fuck my throat."
"Please."
Liz smiles and quickly gets on her knees, taking his full length in her mouth. Liz places her hands on his hips and she moans as her tongue traces the underside of his cock. She loves how full he makes her feel, whether he's in her mouth or in her cunt. Liz continues to suck and starts to let him into her throat, getting both of them prepared, continuing until she feels him harden enough to fuck her. She gives one final tease as her tongue travels from the base to the tip and she guides his right hand to her head. "Fuck me like this."
Max bucks against her mouth. "Liz."
Liz locks her gaze with his. "I want you like this. Please."
Max's gaze is hot enough that Liz swears it could start a fire. "Liz. Are you sure?"
Another bolt of lightning strikes near the house. Maria's gaze was already fixed on the two of them, very much enjoying the visual of Liz on her knees with Max's cock in her mouth, but the proof of how much it's affecting Max is just as good. Maria wants to see him come undone from Liz's mouth, and hear him cry out as Liz pushes him towards his orgasm.
"Yes. I want you in my mouth, to fuck my throat as if it were my cunt. And it seems clear you want that, too. Go as deep as you can. I'm ready to take it. And once you've finished with my throat, I want you in my cunt. I want you to come inside me tonight as many times as you can manage."
And with that, Max starts thrusting into her mouth, slow and shallow at first. Liz groans, "More."
Thunder rumbles again, even louder this time, as it's clearly getting closer to the house. Max's thrusts get a bit rougher and he pushes deeper, but his pace is still slow. Liz moans, and Max can feel her voice reverberate around him. His grip on her hair tightens slightly. "Liz."
Maria feels herself getting wetter still. Liz moans again and her tongue starts to give him attention, urging him on. Max grunts and his speed increases, doing his best not to give into the frenzy he feels. Liz's nails dig into his hips, another sign of encouragement. Max's pace gets a bit more frantic, pushing deep and hard into Liz's mouth, feeling her throat respond to each thrust. "Liz. Fuck!"
Another lightning strike. Liz's fingers tap his hip, her warning that she can only take a few more thrusts. Max thrusts once more and grunts as he comes, before slipping out.
Liz groans. "God, I love having you in my mouth. Are you ready to go again? My cunt aches for you. I need you to fuck me and I'm not sure I can wait."
Max pants as he stumbles towards the bed, "I don't think I can stand any longer, but yes. I want to be inside you."
Max takes a second to situate himself on the bed. "Come here."
Liz smiles as she quickly sits on his lap, her breasts brushing against his chest. He dips a finger inside her cunt. "Fuck. You told me you were wet, but I wasn't prepared for just how much. You feel exquisite."
His thumb swipes her clit and Liz gasps. "I love how you touch me. You always seem to know what my body wants before I have to ask. Of course I'm this wet for you."
Max definitely feels his cock getting stiffer. His thumb starts to rub circles against her clit. Liz grinds against his hand and her nails start to dig into his back. "Fuck! You're so good to me."
Liz continues to grind against Max's hand, as his thumb continues stroking, and it doesn't take long before Liz screams as she reaches her peak. She spasms as the wave of pleasure extends through her body. Liz takes a moment to steady her breathing and come back to herself. Her hands slide down his chest. "Are you ready? I need to ride you."
And with that, Max is definitely ready. He nods, "Yes."
Liz's hands reach his cock, and she slowly guides him inside her. They both groan as she sinks down his length. Max's hands quickly move to Liz's back, pulling her closer still. Her breasts drag against his chest with every movement. Liz moans, "God, I love the way you feel inside me. The way we fit together so perfectly."
Liz starts to increase her tempo, and she pulls away slightly so they can make eye contact. Their gazes lock and Max's hands drift from Liz's back to her breasts, as Liz moans again.
Even when their gazes are heavy and lustful like this, Maria can still see the tenderness and love shining through. She feels incredibly touched that she's able to witness them like this, but there's also a twinge of jealousy as she yearns to be on the receiving end of their stares.
"I love you, Liz."
"I love you, too, Max."
It only takes a few more pumps until Liz screams as she reaches her climax, and Max joins her briefly after.
They both fall to the bed now, panting heavily, limbs still tangled up. Max wraps his arms around Liz, keeping her close. She kisses Max for a long moment and his hands travel up her back, until they're cupping her head. Liz smiles as she releases a sigh and rolls off of Max, but she stays by his side.
Max tenderly strokes Liz's back but he turns his gaze towards Maria. "I think I've worn myself out for the night, but I'd love to go down on you. If that's something you're up for."
"I thought you'd never ask."
Maria crawls closer and Liz pulls away slightly from Max, allowing Maria to get better access to him. Maria straddles Max, sitting about halfway down his chest. He can feel how wet she is, and Max groans. "You feel so incredible. I want to taste you."
"And I want your mouth. You can't just mercilessly fuck me and expect that'd be enough for the night. Especially after the pleasure of watching the two of you."
Max laughs silently. "Apologies. Didn't mean to leave you dissatisfied."
Maria slides closer to his face. "That's okay. I know you'll make it up to me soon enough."
"Yes, ma'am."
Max pulls Maria closer and in seconds his mouth is on her cunt. Maria cries out loudly and Liz can already feel herself getting wet just from that reaction. Max's hands wander Maria's body as she rocks against his face. "There, right there. Yes!"
Liz's eyes travel the both of them, the throbbing of her cunt intensifying at every noise escaping their lips
"Max! Fuck!"
Maria quickly grips the headboard as Max's hands settle on her hips, keeping her close as his tongue continues to tease her. It doesn't take much longer before Maria screams as she reaches her peak.
Maria trembles as she falls to the bed, between Max and Liz. "Fuck! You are masterful with your tongue."
Max laughs, and Maria quickly pulls him into a kiss, her tongue entering his mouth. Maria turns her gaze to Liz. "Well, Max might be done for the night, but are you up for continuing? I've been desperate for you to fuck me since you got on your knees. You looked so utterly sexy when Max was in your mouth."
Liz feels her arousal building even more, desperate for a release. She slides closer to Maria, their bodies nearly touching now. "I would love to fuck you. And I'm glad you enjoyed watching us.” Liz sighs, apologetic. “But I don't think I can bring myself to leave the bed. I'm not sure my legs can support me right now."
Max smiles. "Well, good thing you're in bed with an alien who has telekinetic abilities, then. Unless you want to stop."
Maria gasps in delight before kissing him chastely. "You're a lifesaver, Max Evans."
Max laughs. "Just doing my best to make sure my ladies are taken care of. Besides, I don't think any of us could manage standing right now."
Maria smiles. "We'll have to remember to grab the toys before we get to the bed next time."
Liz laughs. “Definitely. If you hadn't caught us by surprise, we might've had the thought to grab them before we started."
Maria gasps in mock offense. "Are you saying that you don't like when I take the lead?"
Liz gently shoves Maria. "I am definitely not saying that."
Max uses his telekinesis to open the dresser and grabs a harness, dildo, and a bottle of lube. The items float to the bed, landing near Liz's hands. Liz giggles, "Gracias, cariño."
Max smiles. “Siempre, mi amor.”
Liz grins, always enjoying hearing Max slip into Spanish to respond to her. It’s a side of Max that he reserves specifically for her. His level of fluency is understandably nowhere near hers, making it all the more meaningful when he does. Liz reaches over Maria and cups his face, her thumb stroking his cheek and he instinctively leans into her touch. After a minute Liz pulls away and returns her attention to Maria. “Well, give me a moment to get ready, and then I’ll happily get inside you.”
Maria's cunt aches at the thought. Liz slips into the harness and secures the dildo before she grabs the lube. She pours some into her hands and slicks up the dildo, making eye contact with Maria as she does.
Max turns to his side to get a better view of the two of them.
Liz slips a couple fingers inside Maria. "God, you're so fucking wet. I probably didn't even need to bother with the lube. I can't wait to make you come."
Maria moans as Liz continues teasing her. "Please."
Liz's thumb rubs Maria's clit and she whines. "Liz."
Hearing Maria say her name goes straight to Liz's cunt. "Sounds like I've teased you enough. Let me make up for that."
Liz quickly slips inside Maria and she gasps loudly. Liz kisses her neck as she starts to thrust, her breasts grazing against Maria's each time. Maria pulls Liz closer, no more space between them, and they both groan. Liz continues thrusting and Maria pants as she speaks, "It's funny that you said earlier that you were thinking about my body, when you're so fucking voluptuous. I bet half the people in town would kill to be with you like this."
"Well, too bad for them that I'm already spoken for. You and Max fuck me right, I have no interest in anyone else."
Liz leans down to kiss Maria again, swallowing her moan. Maria's nails dig into Liz's back, causing her to pick up her speed.
Once Liz pulls away, Maria speaks again. "As fucking good as you feel inside me, I need you to go harder and deeper."
Liz obliges, pushing in deeper and putting more power into her thrusts. Maria cries out in pleasure. "Yes! Yes! More."
Liz is in a bit of a lustful haze, and she wants nothing more than to satisfy Maria, but she still has to ask. "Are you sure?"
Maria nods. "Yes, I want you to make me ache for days. I want to be so sore that all I can think about it how well you both fucked me. I need a physical reminder of how fucking good you make me feel."
And with that, Liz pushes in as deep as she can. Maria cries out again and spasms. "Fuck!"
Maria clings to Liz now, her thrusts rough and frenzied. It doesn't take much longer before Maria screams Liz's name as she orgasms, pulling Liz even closer.
Liz smiles and kisses Maria's neck again. "I hope that was satisfactory enough."
Maria laughs through heavy breaths. Liz takes that as her cue to pull out and she gets out of the harness, quickly placing it and the dildo on the dresser.
Max's gaze is on Maria's face. "Sorry for the unsolicited comment but… You two are so gorgeous together."
Maria laughs again. "Max, I don't think there's anything you can say that I don't want to hear."
Max can't help but lean in and kiss her for that. Maria smiles as her hands drift to his hair. As he pulls away she still cups his face. She asks, "How did I get lucky enough to be in this position?"
Max's voice is barely above a whisper as he locks eyes with Maria. "I think we're the lucky ones."
Liz speaks now, "I'm definitely on Max's side here."
"Well, I'm flattered you think so highly of me."
Liz sits by Maria's side, holding the bottle of lube. "If you're done for the night, I can have a bit of solo fun, but if you're up for it, there's one more thing I want to do."
"Oh?"
Liz smiles. "How do you feel about scissoring?"
Maria laughs. She asks innocently, "Is that what you had in mind?"
Liz leans closer and kisses Maria's neck. "Yes. If you're interested."
Maria moans and Liz's mouth travels lower, giving attention to her breasts. It takes a moment before Maria finds her voice, caught up in the pleasure of Liz's tongue. "I'm up for anything you want to do."
Liz smiles as she pours some lube into her hands. "Good."
Liz rubs her hands together before inserting a couple fingers in Maria's cunt. Liz teases her a little as she continues kissing her way down Maria's body. Maria arches her back and moans, as her fists dig into the sheets.
Once Liz reaches the edge of the bed, she slips a leg between Maria's and slides closer until their cunts are barely touching. Liz's heart pounds furiously in anticipation. She meets Maria's gaze and can tell that she's feeling similarly desperate for a release.
Still staring into each other's eyes, Liz grabs Maria's hand and closes the final bit of distance as their cunts rub together. They both groan as they grind against each other. Maria speaks first, "You feel so fucking good.”
"You do, too."
Liz releases Maria's hand, having the thought that she wants to touch her everywhere. Liz starts to caress Maria's breasts, and she moans in response, before she starts to touch Liz in the same manner.
Soon they're both writhing under each other's touch, as they continue rutting against each other, their clits brushing, and their moans fill the room.
Maria feels herself inching closer and closer to her climax and says, "I could fuck you like this every day and never get tired of it."
And that's the final spark for Liz, as she comes with a scream. Maria joins her a few seconds after.
Liz takes a long moment to recover before she returns to the head of the bed. She kisses Maria once more. "You're incredible."
Maria smiles. "You're incredible, too."
She turns her gaze towards Max. "You both are."
Max smiles as he slides closer to the two women, resting his head on Maria's chest. The three of them lay together in a tangle of limbs for a while, coming down from the high. One of Maria's hands starts to comb through Max's hair, and she speaks, "So, I know we've agreed that we're an us now but… I don't know if I'm ready for people to know about this."
Liz quickly grabs Maria's free hand. "Hey, there's no rush. Max and I have been together for a while, you get to set the pace now. Your comfort is the priority while we're figuring this out."
Max turns his head, making eye contact with Maria. "It's uncharted territory for all of us, but you have the most to get used to. I mean, a secret girlfriend –"
"Girlfriend?"
Maria's surprised by how much she likes hearing herself be referred to as Max and Liz's girlfriend.
Max's eyes widen in fear. "Sorry, is it too fast to label us?"
"No! No, I like it! I'm your girlfriend. I guess I just hadn't thought that far ahead." Maria laughs. "Wow, I can't remember the last time I was in a serious enough relationship to bother with labels."
Liz kisses her cheek. "Well, it's their loss. I haven't had the Maria DeLuca girlfriend experience, but I already know that you'll be a wonderful girlfriend. There's a reason why you've always been my best friend and I feel like I can talk to you about anything."
Maria meets Liz's gaze and smiles. "Well, I already love being your girlfriend."
Liz grins. "Good. I already love calling you my girlfriend, even if I can only say it within these walls."
Maria leans closer to Liz and kisses her, before turning her attention back to Max and placing a kiss on his forehead.
"I love being with both of you like this. It's funny, I never thought about either of you in any way other than platonic up until Liz and I drunkenly made out. Now I can't imagine anything other than this. Just the idea of going back to the way things used to be is excruciating."
Max smiles. "Well, as long as you feel that way, we're not going to let you go."
Maria pulls Max closer and kisses him again. Max and Liz slide closer to Maria, until the three of them are flush against each other, Maria's arms bracketing both of them. Liz sighs contentedly as she nestles her head under Maria's chin.

I really like your writing. If you still accept prompts, could you please write about how when Michael was with Maria, it was obvious how he was always thinking of someone else, even while they were talking or how his gaze always slid to Alex whenever he was around. How he couldn't really focus on anyone other than Alex and if she had forced Michael to choose, he without hesitation would have chosen Alex. Thank you
***
Michael and Alex had people over a lot. Well, not people, per say, just his siblings, the Ortechos, Maria DeLuca, Walt, Kyle Valenti (he was still tragically Alex’s best friend), and occasionally, when they had the time, Alex’s brothers. And not a lot, either, just when Michael was willing to spend the night doing something other than Alex.
This, believe it or not, had been Alex’s idea. He’d wanted Michael to feel at home, and Michael felt at home with his family. Funnily enough, only Alex had ever really been his home, and after he had suggested they invite his siblings over more, even to stay overnight whenever they felt like it, Michael realized that he’d never felt that more strongly.
The only issue was that Alex worked long enough hours as it was, either staring at screens or overexerting his body, so when he got home, he was always exhausted. It was bad because he didn’t sleep even after everyone usually left. Then, to Michael’s fear and relief, those days would catch up with him, and try as he might, Alex just couldn’t stay awake. It was concerning, but also very, very cute.
So moments like this, whenever Michael and his siblings, Liz, and Kyle were sitting in the living room, Alex already has his head on Michael’s lap, so far past dozed off that even their conversation couldn’t wake him up.
“Poor guy,” Isobel murmured fondly, reaching up from where she sat cross-legged on the ground to pet Alex’s hair. “He must be so tired.”
“Hands off,” Michael said, kissing Alex’s temple. “He’s mine.” As if on cue, Alex whimpered under his breath like a disturbed kitten and snuggled deeper into Michael’s lap. Michael kind of wished everyone else would go away just so he could carry his boyfriend back to bed.
Maria scoffed as she took a sip from her beer bottle. “Guerin, I swear, if you’d ever done that to me, you would’ve lost an arm.”
Kyle raised a brow at Alex. “Yeah, I don’t think that would’ve been a problem.”
“Come to think of it, you’re right,” Max said thoughtfully. “I don’t think you’ve ever cared this much about anyone but Alex. Not even us!”
“Well, look at him!” Isobel pointed at Alex’s beautiful sleeping face accusingly.
Everyone snickered and cooed an aggrieved Michael, and while Maria was still smiling, her brows had pinched, her bottle halfway to her lips. “Seriously?”
Michael shrugged, running a hand up Alex’s arm, his other hand in Alex’s hair. “He likes it when I’m possessive,” he said with a smirk that earned him a scoff from Kyle.
“He likes you a little too much, if you ask me,” Kyle muttered. “Even when you act like a freaking Viking.”
“You know,” Maria said slowly. She was the only one that hadn’t laughed. “Now that I think about it, even when we were dating, I don’t think there was ever a time you didn’t look distracted.” She huffed an unconvincing chuckle. “Like you were . . . thinking about . . .”
Alex scrunched his shoulders and turned his face into Michael’s lap before he settled again. Michael’s heart felt like it was going to suffocate him, and he would’ve been happy to let it.
He probably should’ve lied, should’ve said that he’d cared about Maria as much as he’d always cared about Alex, that he’d given Maria all of himself. But he didn’t want to lie, not with Alex in his arms.
“Always,” he murmured, and instead of looking at the hurt in Maria’s eyes, he leaned down to kiss Alex’s temple, his ear. Then the room erupted in groans.
“Oh my god!” Isobel complained. “Get a room!”
“Okay,” Kyle pushed himself up. “I’m calling it.”
“Me too,” Max sighed, holding out a hand for Liz who was watching Michael and Alex as if just really seeing them for the first time. She shook herself out of it and nudged Maria’s shoulder.
“C’mon,” she teased. “He’s gone.”
Was Michael supposed to deny that? Yeah, he was gone. He couldn’t think of anything but getting Alex into bed, nuzzling his jaw, and holding him tight as they fell asleep in each other’s arms. The others seemed to realize that as they cleared out. Maria was the last to leave.
“Can I ask you something?” she mumbled, like she already knew the answer. Michael already knew the question.
“It was always him,” Michael answered, unwilling to take his eyes off Alex as he brushed his bangs back with his fingers. “Even when it looked like it wasn’t, it was. There was never a choice.”
Maria didn’t say anything, but after a few seconds, he heard her walk out and close the door behind her. Michael pressed his lips to the shell of Alex’s ear, kissed it again, and whispered, “Even when it looked like it wasn’t,” he promised fiercely, “it was, Private. It always was.”

Anti Maria warning:
I have hated so many characters before but I don’t think I’ll ever experience such hatred and unbridled rage toward a character as that I feel toward m*ria deluca
Sure there are villains and bad characters that I have seen before who’s acts are comparatively more evil than hers BUT THEY ARE INTENTIONALLY WRITTEN TO BE DISLIKABLE OR EVIL
My problem with Maria is that not only is she the worst character but she is forced down our throats by the writers to be likeable and a good friend and an integral part of the group and like this badass feminist and the heart of the group when in reality she is NONE OF THESE THINGS

Roswell, New Mexico: Subterranean Homesick Alien (4x03)
Not to be predictable, but an episode without Alex Manes is never going to be my fave. Plus I thought a lot of this was just kind of boring and underwhelming? Let's dive in.
Cons:
So, there were a couple of characterization things in this episode that felt like someone was writing these characters without the full context of their growth. Max, for example, being a little keyed up and nervous and overcontrolling about the new aliens, sure. That tracks. That makes sense. But his hostility towards Michael was a little over the top, and it wasn't addressed meaningfully in the episode. Liz had to babysit him through his feelings and get him to admit that Michael had a good idea, which I found sort of annoying. Also, maybe this is just a me thing, but I hate it when Max uses the name "Guerin" for Michael. It doesn't fit for them.
Speaking of Michael, I rather liked him in this episode for the most part, but I find the inconsistencies in his relationship to music to be sort of annoying. The first time we ever see Michael with a guitar, when he's explaining that it quiets all the noises, he's saying that to Alex. It's part of their origin story together. So when he's telling Bonnie he taught himself how to play, when the two of them are bonding over that, it's weird that there was no verbal or even visual callback to Alex whatsoever.
And then there's Maria. Look, I'd consider myself a defender of Maria DeLuca, but really only because people seem to have so much hatred towards her and I think it's over the top. Maria is great in the same way all the other characters on this show are great, in that she has a lot of flaws and a lot of shining qualities. She's complex. However, I will admit, one thing that's sort of frustrating about the way Maria is written is that the show, and the other characters, never really acknowledge her flaws. Especially not in season three or in season four so far. In this episode, she behaves recklessly trying to get her visions back, and Dallas is there to patiently be there for her and help her find the answers in a different way. It really bothered me when Maria couldn't think of a single bad or selfish thing she's ever done. Maybe the idea of being a martyr, of putting yourself in danger for the sake of feeling like you belong, is a flaw, Maria. And if it's a flaw she can't recognize in herself, that's fine, but it's strange that the show doesn't seem to really recognize it either. I hesitate to even type any of this out, because Maria gets enough hate around these parts, for things she absolutely doesn't deserve to be hated on for, but I'm not a fan of her being lionized as the selfish, unproblematic, perfect friend either. That's just not accurate, and frankly, it makes her a less interesting character!
I liked the stuff with Isobel and Kyle this week, but I do need to point out that Anatsa plying someone with alcohol was really awkward and uncool. I hated that it was framed as Anatsa trying to be good at her job, when in fact what she was doing was really fucked up. Also, I think I'd like Anatsa more if we'd gotten to know a bit more of her before she was partnered up with Isobel... as it is, I feel like I can't quite connect to her. The actresses are doing their best to give us that passion and connection between the two women, but it's hard to deny that Michael Trevino and Lily Cowles have a much stronger automatic chemistry on screen. Contrasting that with Anatsa and Isobel's interactions made the issue a lot more obvious to me.
Obligatory complaint about no Alex Manes has to go here... I hope we get a bit more mention of him or even a glimpse next week. We'll see!
Pros:
Max and Isobel had an all-too-brief conversation in this episode, and I was reminded of how much I love their brother-sister bond. More of this next time, please! I love the silent ways they support one another.
Dallas and Michael make such a good team, I loved their pool scene at the start of the episode, and then their mind conversation while Dallas is getting information from Graham Green. They have a great vibe and energy as brothers. I really liked their scenes together, because Dallas comes alive as a fully fleshed out character to me when he's bouncing off of Michael. I was a little less entertained by Dallas and Maria's scenes, but I still liked them okay, and I love that Maria recognized what a great and supportive friend Dallas is being to them all.
Liz is continuing to balance the different aspects of her life, chasing down exciting science leads but also helping Max deal with his emotions and concerns, and learning to enjoy the quiet moments with him when she can. Honestly, such a glow-up for our girl Liz, I am all about it. Shivani seems like such an interesting addition to Liz's character growth, in a weird way... like it's clear that she's not exactly a saint, but I believe that she thinks she's doing the right thing, and her motivations (to save her sick daughter) are certainly sympathetic! I can't wait to see where this goes.
Michael is a calmer, more settled version of himself in this episode, and I kind of love to see it. After getting pep talks over the past couple of weeks from Dallas, Sanders, and Alex, he's now in a place where when he sees someone in distress, he wants to help. I like the fledgling connection between Michael and Bonnie. Mostly I like it because I like some angst, and if Bonnie is connected with Tezca, once Michael finds out that Alex is in trouble, I anticipate a bit of a falling out for this new friendship... but also I like seeing Michael be sweet to someone, he's very good at it. The scene at the end with him showing Bonnie the guitar and her strumming on it was honestly super adorable.
Kyle and Isobel just... sparkle with each other. You gotta feel bad for Anatsa, and for Kyle's date, because the second these two are talking, you can just see how well they click. Kyle is well aware of his feelings, and is in fact trying to work past them. Isobel seems unaware that she might have feelings back, and there's trouble in paradise with Anatsa when she confronts her about keeping secrets. Like I said above, Anatsa and Isobel just don't draw me in the way I wish they did. I am more invested in Kybel than I ever thought I'd be!
At the end of the day, I definitely found this episode a little bit boring. As I keep saying in these reviews, I'm not here for the plot, I'm here for the interesting character relationships. So the screen-time we spend on our new triad characters, the machinations of the scientific discoveries, none of that is ever going to draw me in as much. I guess we'll have to see what next week gives us. We've got Jones missing, and Eduardo mind-whammied, Alex in a hole...
And still no Rosa Ortecho!

Thoughts on RNM 04x04 Dear Mama
Michael deserts Maria: Mimi died (sad) and everyone showed up to be supportive. Maria refused to be helped. Michael walks out of the bar and announces "it's the Deluca Saves Herself special in there," and switches immediately into alien business. I don't hate Maria, but I get really tired of the martyr stuff. I agree with Michael: if your friend who clearly needs love and support refuses all the love and support offered, it's fine to walk away and do something else.
Michael finds out stuff from Bonnie and Clyde: I thought the alien info in this episode was great. We're finding out what that symbol means, and telling Michael that his mom built that artifact was an awesome hint. I'm dying to know more, especially if it can take them home. Also, I LOVED the glimpse of Oasis that Clyde gave Michael.
What's the point of a triad? Something significant about alien triads, etc. Bonnie sounds like Clyde recruited her into a cult (they're following a guy they call the Savior, telling her what she wanted to hear until she was on board, music is banned because it corrupts your mind). If a triad is supposed to be something you can rely on, the Bonnie-Clyde-Tezca triad isn't that great.
Bonnie: I like Bonnie. I like her beginning to trust Michael and I hope it isn't too much of a shock to her when she finds out Michael wanted info from them. Michael wants to help Bonnie too. She was very apologetic about kissing Michael once Michael said he had a boyfriend, and I hope she's instrumental in getting Alex out of the sand.
Best line: Max telling Liz, "You are my turquoise."
Truck Mystery: Why bury the big truck? Did Renata do something significant and I missed it?
Anatsa and Isobel: Anatsa was just in the show to cause angst on the way to get Kyle and Isobel together. Sigh. The way they handled the breakup was bad writing. Isobel has been acting weird for one week, and then offers to tell Anatsa the truth. Anatsa, the curious reporter, doesn't want to hear it. AFTER ONE WEEK? I dunno, one week of drama doesn't seem all that bad to me. Anyway. I guess Kyle and Isobel can get together now.
Awesome two-episode trend that should continue: Liz is back in the lab doing science. Let's keep her there rather than sending her back to teach GED classes with whiney Vanessa.
Things I don't get yet: Is Shevani going to help or hurt the aliens? I like her growing connection with Liz. The conversation about how Mimi's death affected Liz was a warm hug in dialogue. But I'm suspicious of tech billionaires who want to know more about alien tech.
Drama Award goes to: Nope, not Maria for deciding to handle her mother's death without any help. Michael gets it! For lighting his hand on fire and announcing that he's the Savior's son. Epic, Michael, really, five gold stars to you.
Most hopeful moment: Dallas experimenting with his powers and having a split second vision/memory about his father. I am hopeful that Dallas will get a storyline that is more than just being everyone else's support person.
Funkiest New Alien Ability: Tezca is a shapeshifter! I did not see that one coming. Now we have a mystery about who is in the pod that Kyle found. Does Tezca have a clone? Or is the real Tezca in the pod and the shapeshifter isn't Tezca at all, and so is fooling Bonnie and Clyde too? Also, she can't shapeshift away the tattoo on her wrist? Because that's giving her away all the time.
Costuming award: Michael is in ANOTHER new shirt! Is he raiding Alex's closet?
Fruit on the menu: Michael's reaction to eating Oasian fruit was priceless. "It tastes like every emotion I've ever had." The Oasians must have some nutritional deficiency living on earth, or they wouldn't have to drink acetone so much. I want to use this idea in a fic, but I don't have a plot.
Weird photo: Maria goes through her mother's wedding photos. First off - didn't Maria say that it's always just been her and her mom? Anyway. I'm assuming the groom isn't Maria's dad. Why did the groom have his face hidden in the wedding photo? Now I'm suspicious that the groom's identity is going to be significant. Then Maria finds the sketch of the Oasian tree in her mother's wedding album. The plot thickens.
Funky Alien Science: the Resurrection thing. Jones looked like he was still dead, though, so whatever? Or does Tezca need Max's blood to resurrect Jones and that's why she went to all that trouble to get Max in the same place as Jones' body?
Where is Rosa??
Looking on the bright side: Alex has been gone for two episodes. He has to appear in 10 episodes, so we'll get the non-Alex portion of the season over with fast and then Alex can be in every episode til the end of the season! I'm manifesting.

Liz for the character ask :)
one aspect about them i love:
she’s headstrong and relentless, she won’t let anything stand in her way and pushes through roadblocks whether they’re in the scientific realm or the physical world (she’s angry and I love it)
one aspect i wish more people understood about them:
she’s morally dubious but this doesn’t make her a terrible person she just struggles with coming to terms with her past traumas and acknowledging how they make her act/re-act (specifically losing Rosa). Also, this retread of her s2 actions is very much what her character needed even if it’s unpleasant to watch
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have about this character:
she watches bad nature documentaries, voice overs and everything, while drinking wine and texting Maria and Alex reaction emojis (idk why)
one character i love seeing them interact with:
Arturo Ortecho, them eating pancakes and talking about boy problems is everything to me
one character i wish they would interact with/interact with more:
Maria DeLuca, they’re best friends and I want to see the dumb inside jokes they have about their relationship, want to see them call each other babe and love and go on ‘dates’ to the Roswell equivalent of the Olive Garden and leave people scrambling to figure out if they’re dating or actually just friends (cause Max makes a very pretty beard and has anyone even seen Gregory Manes since he stood up the third grade teacher???)
one (or more) headcanon(s) i have that involve them and one other character:
she and Isobel start up a “book club” where they talk about their lives and drink wine, the members are them, Maria and Michael, and they have to keep coming up with even sillier ways of declining Max’s book club application form
she never fails to steal Isobel’s chapstick
last but definitely not least, she stool Max’s patented s1-3 leather jacket and that’s why he doesn’t have it anymore, cause everytime he grabs it from the closet she glares and says not to touch what belongs to her
send me a character <3

Mentions of character death and grief (all fits within canon as of now)
I wished we got to see Maria grieve her mother and have a friends with her so I wrote this directly after watching the ep (also on ao3)
Mimi DeLuca was a good mother. To all her children. She gave them a place to sleep when their own homes became scary. She was a shoulder to cry on, a tight hug at the end of the day, a comforting voice after a nightmare.
And most importantly, she loved them. She supported them. She listened to them, listened to their dreams and fears, their doubts and passions. She was there for every dumb crush, and every heartbreak.
Her children may not have all stayed in Roswell; they didn’t reach out as often as they wished they had. But they never stopped thinking of her, of the love she gave them when their own mothers hadn’t.
Maria had been the one to carry most of the burden. When Mimi started to lose track of time, of reality, Maria was there. She took over the Wild Pony shortly after her 21st birthday, in order to pay for medical bills, to keep an eye on her mother, and to be a beacon when Mimi got lost.
Eventually, the burden had been too heavy, and Maria had to let someone else take care of her mother. It wasn’t easy. She was constantly worried that something would happen to Mimi, that the people in the home wouldn’t be able to take care of her.
But she did have to admit that it was nice, not to carry the burden of her mother’s condition. She sometimes felt like a bad daughter, whenever she was enjoying herself, thinking about her mother.
However, Mimi had always wanted her children to be happy, and so Maria lived. For the first time in what felt like forever, Maria did things for herself. She started training her powers because she wanted to explore her abilities, be a part of something bigger.
Even taking the cure created by Kyle and Liz was for herself, even if she doubted her actions. Even if she felt guilty for her mother’s death.
Everywhere she looked, she was reminded that she was the only DeLuca left. That her mother was gone, and that she wouldn’t be back.
Being in the Wild Pony was painful – full of memories, both happy and sad. So she focused on her work. Dallas would probably say that she was still in the first stage of grief, denial. Except he wasn’t there. Maria had snapped at him, and he had left her alone.
She didn’t want to be alone, but the alternative felt worse. Everyone was busy with Jones coming back, the third alien mind controlling people, and tracking down weather balloons. She didn’t want to be another burden to them, so she carried her pain and her grief alone.
Besides, she didn’t really want her friend there. She wanted her mother.
Maria let go of a sob, shaking against the counter, dropping the glass she was cleaning. It was like her emotions crashed into her all at once, the weight of her loss heavy on her chest. She sat on the floor, bringing her knees to her chest, wrapping them with her arms.
Liz had been at the lab all day, focusing on her work and not on the pain she felt. Managing to bring the alien cells back to life had succeeded in taking her mind off of Maria and Mimi, if only for a few hours at best.
The groundbreaking discovery was both exciting and tiring. But Liz knew that she couldn’t rest. For the pain would come back, stronger than ever. Jones was in the wind, the third alien could mind control people. She didn’t have time to rest. She only had time to figure out the science.
And so she worked. After bringing the cells back to their original form, she tested their abilities to play dead. She added some phenyl-2-propanone to the cell tissue she had found, curious as to the reaction.
Once again, it was an unexpected result. The skin tissue glowed slightly before dissolving into dust. The joy of success was short lived, as she watched the cells die right before her eyes. With a sigh, she added a drop of the diluted tears she had gotten from the truck driver.
She grabbed the edge of her desk with a deep breath, wondering if she was truly doing the right thing. Both with regards to the cells and to her best friend.
When it came to the cells, she wondered if they had a limit to their form changing properties. Scientifically speaking, reversible reactions reach equilibrium after a certain time, meaning that the concentration of products and reactants in the solution are stable. But this was not the human science she had studied; this was a whole new and undiscovered branch of science.
Alien science. Who knew if the concentration of cells that deteriorated into ash diminished over time? Or could the cells keep changing their properties in the face of danger? Was it closer to the heating of ammonium chloride, or was it closer to the rust rotting?
As she thought of the various possible properties of the cells, still gripping the desk until her knuckles went white, she thought back to high school. When she had a similar dilemma.
2010, California
Liz was in the university lab, alone with the supervisor – an old woman who spent her days staring at her phone. She was staring down a microscope, looking at the cells she was supposed to write her report on. She was meant to study the cytoskeleton and the mechanical resistance to deformation it gave to the cell.
She had been sitting on her lab stool for about an hour, fighting a dilemma. Whether to increase the stress given to the cell, with the risk of ruining what was her last sample, or to keep the pressure as it was and analyse it from there.
In the grand scheme of things, it was nothing really. But Liz had already damaged four samples in a week, whereas her classmates averaged at two. She took a deep breath and placed her head in her hands.
Her phone buzzed next to her, and she grumpily turned her head towards it. She was surprised to see Mimi’s name, along with a message:
“You are a smart kid. Trust your gut.”
She smiled, wondering how Mimi always had the best timings. She put her phone back on the table, and turned back to her cells, increasing the stress they were under.
In the end, Liz got the best grade, and only destroyed five samples during the process.
Now of all time, Liz thought, she needed Mimi DeLuca’s advice. Her grip on the desk tightened and she let out a sob. She sat on the ground, careful not to ruin the alien cell samples, before crying.
All the pain that she had desperately tried to bottle in had come out at once. And with that pain came anger. Anger at the universe that Mimi DeLuca was gone.
Maria was still sitting on the floor of the Wild Pony, behind the bar. The tears had stopped long ago, as if Maria didn’t have any left in her. She wiped her nose on her sleeve and stood up, shakily.
She grabbed her phone on the counter and walked around the bar, sitting on a stool. She went into her contact list, pressing the call button, and putting the phone to her ear. And she waited as the line rang.
“Hello, you’ve reached Alex Manes,” said the voice on the other end, “please leave a message and I’ll call you back.”
Maria sighed as the loud beep was heard.
“Alex,” she said, her voice shaking. She took a deep breath. “Alex, I know you’re busy right now, but I really need to talk to you. It’s about mom,” her voice cracked as she mentioned Mimi, “please call me back.”
She hung up the phone and placed it on the counter. She still felt she was burdening her friends, who were all busy elsewhere. But maybe, she tried to reason herself, they too were in a similar state, wanting to be alone but needing a shoulder to lay on.
With that in mind, she picked her phone again, and called her other best friend. One that was a lot closer geographically, and who was unlikely to be in the middle of the desert with no cell service.
“Maria, is everything okay?” Liz asked with a sniff as she picked the phone up.
“Mom wouldn’t want us to be sad and miserable. She always said that death was just a passage of life. That we should celebrate the good moments, and not mourn those that could be.”
Both girls were silent for a bit, remembering fondly the times where Mimi said those exact words. Liz was the first to break the silence, speaking at the same time as she stood up:
“I can be at the Pony in thirty minutes.”
“Wonderful, I’ll start serving the tequila.”
Maria hung up, but kept the phone in her hand, calling the other Ortecho sister. Even though Rosa was away in art school, living her best life, Maria wanted to have her friends, her family close.
By the time Liz arrived, Maria had drunk quite a few tequila shots, and had already hung up with Rosa. Liz walked in and sat on the stool next to her, wrapping her friend with her arms.
“Sorry I was being a shitty friend,” she said, a reminder of a previous time where Liz hadn’t been there for Maria and Mimi.
“You weren’t,” Maria said, putting her head on Liz’s shoulder. “I was avoiding you. I’m sorry.”
They fell silent, holding each other closely, sharing the pain and the grief. Liz took one of the tequila shots that Maria hadn’t drunk and downed it.
Later on, they’d look back at that evening and realise that most of it was a blur. Their phones would inform them that they left a few drunken messages to Alex, but no one would ever know what was said.
And even later, when Mimi’s funeral rolled over, all four of her children held each other tight, mourning the moments they didn’t get, and cherishing the memories. They would all forever be grateful for the mother they got, may it not be by blood, but by something stronger even. By love.
That was the kind of mother Mimi DeLuca was. The kind who loved her kids more than they would ever realise. She would always live on with them, in their memories, in their hearts. A comforting presence whenever they felt doubt, someone who would always watch over them.

Aaand a jatp bc I have to, sorry. But: jatp + Roswell??
Of all the combos I've gotten this actually seems to be the hardest for my brain to reconcile into a fusion but NEVER FEAR because I have yet to meet two fandoms I couldn't come up with a crossover for. So WHAT IF: Willie is scared. His friends - including his maybe-sort-of boyfriend who he really really likes - have been kidnapped by Caleb. Caleb doesn't trust Willie anymore so he has no clue where they're being held, but this is bad. Caleb took Julie, too, and Ray still has no idea about the ghost stuff so he's not going to be any help. No other ghost is going to stand up to Caleb and help Willie save his friends, so he needs somebody else, but there aren't too many lifers out there with the ability to see ghosts. But he remembers one, a long time ago, back when he first became a ghost. He met Mimi DeLuca when she was in LA for college. She'd taken one look at him, furrowed her brows, and said, "Well that's new". It's been years since they've seen each other, although he tried to keep in touch after she went back to Roswell, but it's hard when you can't hold a phone. But he's sure, absolutely sure she can help. She'd been psychic, on top of being able to see and talk to him, so maybe she knows something, if nothing else. But when he gets to Roswell, it's not Mimi he finds, but her daughter, and Maria DeLuca doesn't have time to add ghost shenanigans to the alien shenanigans she's already got piling up around her. Willie's going to have to convince her, and time is running out for Alex, Luke, Reggie, and Julie...

SaL anon here bestie with no episode review since, like you, I won't be able to watch till tonight, but already know enough to not look forward to it! I feel like we're doing an S3 redux right now where the alien stuff is pretty interesting but unfortunately is always undercut by the crappy interpersonal dynamics, Maria is being heavily focused on despite being irrelevant to the plot (like seriously what is she doing that's important, even S3 tried to give her the vision thing even if thst also
ended up being irrelevant to the season's storyline), and Malex, after a couple of good scenes together are kept apart and not talking about each other for bullshit reasons. I guess what's different is we have to make room for guest stars!!! Which means Alex gets shoved down a hole, Rosa is erased from existence, and Kyle has to spend his too little screentime as a LI or in a bubble (basically Alex's treatment last season, I guess Alex is getting the Kyle treatment, in a coma and no one cares and they probably never will). I'm just so tired of this show constantly repeating the things that made so many people unhappy season after season. This is their last chance to get it right, I shouldn't already be saying "maybe the back half of the season will be better". Sorry for ranting again, I'm tired and now have to wait 2 weeks to be disappointed again by this show.
I'm about to start the episode and besite, I feel you! It’s sooo frustrating that not just fans, but all the reviews for the show harped on some of the same things like pacing, important things happening off screen, inconsistent plots, and some of the biggest things being the weird choices in which characters do and do not interact with each other, and how the show handles characters who aren’t there for an episode (and which character (Alex) should be bumped up to a full season contract), and here we are 4 seasons in dealing with the same issues the show has had almost from the start! Like, I feel bad for the cast, and for the crew especially who worked through a pandemic to get the show out, but these writers and the showrunners have been given pretty consistent feedback on what people like, what they don’t, and what they are BEGGING to see more of, and every season they just say “No ❤”.
The fact that they got so much backlash for wasting nearly half the season on a plot that went nowhere plus multiple other scenes to give m*ria something to do that ultimately she didn’t need to be doing because it had already been done or the information already obtained by someone else, and yet they are doing it again and using a fan favorite character again to try and make her relevant, and are only allowing Alex to be missed when he’s failing to be there doing stuff for other people, is ridiculous.
And honestly, I don’t even want to HEAR it about Tyler being unavailable for filming because that’s not even the issue here. We knew that he was going to be missing episodes regardless of anything going on in his personal life or with his health and the show knew that too. It’s the way that no one is allowed to talk about him, the way his boyfriend isn’t allowed to be shown missing him in little moments until finally they figure out something is wrong. Lord knows I have my issues with this last season of 911 but when Maddie was gone (while JLH was on maternity leave for those who do not watch the show), we see Buck calling her multiple times, talking to his 118 family about missing his sister, we seen Buck and Hen hugging and talking about how they are missing their people during the holidays. I think they still had room for improvement on how that was handled but you never for a minute felt like the characters forgot she existed. There was a hole where she belonged in the story that the characters acknowledged. And that’s all we’ve been asking for in regards to Alex. For the people who are supposed to be his closest friends in the world to acknowledge that they are thinking of him, that they have tried calling him but shrug off him not answering because maybe he’s busy, to show Michael calling and leaving messages for the past couple of episodes and talking to his support people like Isobel and Dallas to ask if he’s just being clingy and if he should worry, and finally have someone like Liz mention she hasn’t heard from Alex and Kyle to pipe up and say he’s been trying to get ahold of him but he never answers and THEN have everyone realize it’s time to freak out when Michael says Alex isn’t picking up for him either.
You can’t tell us Michael has had a hole in his life since Alex left, and then when they’ve been dating for 6 months and Michael has moved in NOT show Michael having to work around having that hole in his life again!
And we could do the same thing with Kyle who spends all his time supporting everyone and then when HE gets kidnapped and disappears, they make a half-assed attempt, Alex gets kidnapped and taken to see Kyle in a COMA in a BARN in the middle of NOWHERE, and then we get crickets from everyone until one day he shows back up, suddenly awake and all better and no one talks about it. We could do the same with Rosa who apparently got a one-way ticket to one of the most expensive cities in the US  6ish months ago and no one has even mentioned her name! She DIED AND CAME BACK TO LIFE and yet has managed to be almost entirely ignored by the narrative and by her sister who in season 1 just wanted answers about what happened to her, and by her BFF who went to her grave every day when she was dead but couldn’t be bothered to be there when Rosa was struggling to “reinvent” herself in order to be allowed out and had to rely on the woman that killed her instead.
Yeah, maybe I shouldn’t have started drinking already....
ANYWAY, cheers bestie, lets do this, and hopefully after this week and after the break, we can get Alex back. I won’t hold out any hope that most of what we’re seeing here isn’t wasted time because every single thing they have done with m*ria was a waste of time, but I WILL hold out hope that it means they get their wasted time m*ria filler episodes out of the way early and they can pull it together to give an at least somewhat satisfying ending to the show and the stories that always deserved better than what they got.

I'm sorry, but every time I "hear" someone saying: Maria does nothing wrong, Michael and Alex are no longer together. Or any other shit like that I just lose my mind. Because I cannot understand the thinking of these people. Maria told Alex that she felt he was more hopeful, she knew Michael was the guy from the museum. She said it would never happen again, she said it had meant nothing. And then suddenly, just because he gave her a shoulder to cry on and a round of sex in Texas, she goes and falls in love with Michael? This doesn't make any sense. After 10 years of seeing him practically every day and treating him nothing more than the town drunk, suddenly she starts to see him in a different light and he becomes a wonderful man that she loves? Is it okay to hurt Alex? The man she claims to be one of her best friends? Her family? Sorry but that doesn't make sense. When I was in high school my friend had a crush on a boy but he didn't like her, he was part of our group of friends, he was beautiful, caring, attentive. The perfect boyfriend for any girl. Months later he told me that he was in love with me, and I confess that I also felt something for him. But I knew that my friend still liked him, so as a person who has a heart and who is faithful to friendships I simply told him that nothing would happen between us. Out of respect for a friendship that I've had since forever. And that I valued more than any possible prince charming that could appear in my life. Because that's what friends do. And Maria is not a friend to Alex. Seriously, that scene on Airstream, tell me that it wasn't her trying to throw in Alex's face that Michael had chosen her, all that talk during the car trip, asking him for relationship advice about the man she knew very well that Alex still loved? This is just being mean. I'm sick of seeing people defending her. She has no defense. She's just a crappy person.

Lol imagine trying to make it seem like a bad thing that Maria spent time essentially speaking with Michael’s mom and she shared that with him. Imagine trying to vilify her and trying to make it seem like her giving Michael that moment and sharing something about the mother he never got to meet with him, for complimenting her and telling him how amazing she was was unimportant or bad. Y’all will find any reason to try to make Maria Deluca into the villain, it’s embarrassing.

How come you're not mad at me? For Michael? The mess between us will never be your fault. And plus, you didn't know my history with him until after you hooked up. That's my fault, I should have told you. No, when I found out, I should have stopped. Yeah, okay, you should have. But you couldn't. How could I be mad at you for falling for Michael Guerin? It's the easiest thing in the world.
