any headcanons on Apollo and Trucy's relationship? :3

get ready for familial angst!

- Apollo tries to maximize being an older brother for Trucy he never got to be, - partially because he knows she really could have used a ray of sunshine older bro when she was growing up with a depressed and messy single dad, - and unwittingly ends up sort of infantilizing her in trying to take care of her in ways he thinks he should have, but it's too late; after a couple of awkward moments they're just twins but with an obvious age difference (he's a grumbling old man and she appears almost younger than she is)

- Trucy also tried to sistermaxx for Apollo, because she feels sort of guilty before him - her family abandoned him, and then his adoptive family also did, and he ended up in an orphanage, which could have not happened, if Thalassa had just stayed with him - even if instead of her. she understands it was just a complex set of circumstances, none of which could have, unfortunately, been prevented, but she still feels like her family inherently betrayed Apollo and she needs to make up for it. she tries to look out for him and cheer him up whenever possible

- they watch anime, play minecraft and take walks together literally all the time, he helps her in shows, and she helps him in court - they are in some sort of symbiosis and truly inseparable

- Trucy decided to let her guard down and open up to Apollo about her negative feelings first, just because she wants him to do the same later down the line. it takes him a long ass time to do the same, mostly because he doesn't even understand his own feelings most of the time. but she never regrets trusting in him

- they are competing at who'll give their sibling the best gift ever, Trucy knit him a dark green vest that fits really well with a red shirt and is now his go-to domestic outfit, - in response to that he got her an amazing place to perform, preparing and negotiating months in advance and ending up just in time for when her new show was ready, - and now she has to step up the game! or maybe knit him a beanie, he'll appreciate it greatly too
