hi! Im a superfan of rtc and i just wanna say i love your rtc art! My favorite character is ricky and mischa, whos yours? :3

Hi! 🥺 Gosh, thank you!! I want to say first that like, I have my own personal bias for my favourite character, but literally everyone in the choir are such good characters?? And as much as I may love any individual one of them, they really just work so well as a group and it's hard for me to detangle them from each other in that way.

But of course, I'm a huge Ricky fan!! I'm a big sci-fi fanatic so he was destined to be my fave as soon as I heard his song and saw him do the vulcan salute. And apart from his nerdiness, I'm just really drawn to him as a character. The crazy furry he is and how it catches everyone off-guard. Plus his core niceness (giving up his chance to return to life because "there's only one commandment in the bachelor man bible: don't be a dick") despite people's indifference to his very existence prior to the cyclone disaster makes it very hard to not get attached. And of course don't forget *slaps roof of car* this bad boy can fit so much gender in him.

He's a character that deserves so much more, not only as a "person" but as a character in a story written by real people. I wish things such as his disability had been handled with more care and thought, especially with recent scripts dropping it altogether, I believe?

Anyway this ask is the perfect excuse to post this. :) I cleaned up an old SABM outfit redesign I never ended up using for anything. I wanted to keep the foundation of what he canonically wears (in the 2016 off-broadway version) but build upon it to give it a more interesting silhouette and some extra sci-fi spunk.

Every story's got a lesson: 7/10 i think this one is super funny too
