character submission rules

obviously you must think that this character in some way possesses the character trait of hubris. how you interpret this is up to you. have fun with it yall.

no real people (ie celebrities), however, mythological or religious figures are allowed.

if a roleplay character has the same name as their player, they're disqualified (ie, no dsmp, i have nothing against yall it just makes me personally a little uncomfortable)

no characters from harry potter

there are two nepotism characters that will automatically make it in: macbeth and icarus. though he is the blog mascot, pride from fma:b is not one of them, so you should still submit him if you want him in the bracket!

Rules

this will be a multi-bracket competition containing multiple polls and rounds

this relates to dsmp characters. the sexyman potential of the ccs is irrelevant

do not bring cc discourse into this. this is a fun time for everyone

serious discourse, even not cc related, will be deleted

all iterations of a character will be treated the same (ghostbur = wilbur, ranboo = ew!ranboo, etc)

this bracket includes all dsmp and tftsmp characters

all npc joke submissions are funny and encouraged (e.g sally, friend, fundy's enderman, tubbo's villagers, etc)

this goes without saying: do not submit an npc child or submit anyone who is still currently a minor (e.g michael, yogurt & lani, drista, etc)

FAQ

Q: is c!charlie from dsmp the same as mr. cicle from tftsmp?

A: no because they're two different series that are just related to each other. tftsmp is c!karl's character story.

that being said c!charlie and mr. cicle counts as separate characters

Q: are you allowing submissions of every character?

A: every character is allowed for submission since they are all 18+ and have been through a long duration of dream smp.

Q: any question that asks for the identity of a moderator

A: all you need to know is that mod bee is old enough to drink alcohol and we will not answer any questions like this

Q: anything that accuses us of supporting a problematic character's actions or a problematic content creator's actions

A: this is not true and we suggest you utilize the block button if any material posted on this blog upsets you. this is for fun and it is light hearted and is for the rest of the fandom who enjoys silly polls.

MOVING BLOGS!

Hey everyone, Mod Bee here.

When I first started this blog, I had no idea what I was doing. I thought my silly little original post wouldn't get too big, and that I would be able to handle the scope of sharing all the awesome fanmade descendants, answering questions about the silly little universe I've helped create, and telling the story of Sexyman Descendants.

...Turns out that was WAY too much for me to handle. The sheer load of attention I was getting had me WAY too overwhelmed, and to be frank it made me super intimidated to revisit Sexyman Descendants in any form whatsoever. Which is a shame, because I miss these characters as much as you guys do :(

Now that I've taken a step back from the blog for a bit and have a grounded, clear head, I've decided to limit the scope immensely and start fresh. I'm starting a fresh blog over at @/sexymandescendants (aka, the old url for this blog) where I can hopefully interact with the Sexyman Descendants universe in a more healthy manner. It will mostly be RP-focused, but I'll most likely still be reblogging fanart and whatnot over there too if the opportunity ever arises.

I hope that one day I'll be able to revisit some of the more ambitious projects I've started and/or talked about on here (ie: an archive of fanmade descendants, a Discord server, etc), but for now I'm putting those plans on indefinite hiatus. They only contributed to my burnout with Sexyman Descendants, and it'll be best for my mental health if I leave those projects behind for now. Thank you for your understanding!

TLDR; this blog will be up as an archive, but all Sexyman Descendants activity from now on will be at @sexymandescendants. Hope to see y'all there!

only 3, but considering the max number of submissions we've had is 5 that is in fact a lot. also all 3 of them came very quickly in succession of each other, so i was like, 'ah yes, it seems the aurora fandom has found the hubris bracket. as it should be. the prophecy is foretold.'
