*looks at your Dad Swap AU* So...What's the dealio with this dealio? *gestures to Tang and Bajie's relationship* I need details, Winter! Gimme the deets! *offscreen whispering* Fine. Kindly allow me and everyone else to know more details about this AU and Tang and Bajie's relationship, por favor?
So, this AU was just "What if Macaque and Wukong switch roles with Tang and Pigsy"
And than Tang became so much worst than Macaque
Like
*Gestures to what my friend @kitkat1003 wrote* So much worst
He decided to make himself immortal to appeal more to Bajie and ended up committing several war crimes in the process. His love turned into bitter anger so by the time MK meets him, Tang wants to kill Bajie.
He gets his ass whooped by MK, Bajie and Macaque (who's terrified of him) and mostly gives up the killing quest
He starts to get closer to Bajie, then dies at some points, but he gets better, so it's fine

Lego Monkie Kid (Shadowpeach) Fandom Rant/Discussion:
Disclaimer: Not sending hate this is just my opinion also my knowledge on the Chinese language is vague so take what I tell you about it with a table spoon of salt. Also people are free to do what they want and I can't/shouldn't try to stop them unless it's actually hurting anyone real. Also this is an open discussion feel free to critique my opinion or point out any flaws in my argument as long as it's respectful.
my issues with fanon-shadowpeach is when it's written to completely put all the blame on one or the other (most of the time Wukong).
The other thing is when it's a family au and one is addressed as bàba (Pinyin spelling of the Chinese word for dad/father) and the other is addressed as māma (pinyin for the Chinese world for mom /mother) , if it's a genderswap thing I guess it's fine (although i have my own gripes when a character in a gay ship is gender swapped and the other isn't) it's also perfectly fine if it's like a gender thing but when they both specifically identify as men it feels wrong to feminise someone in a mlm relationship when you could just have one be called bàba and the other be bà or even use just have them be called papa or dad. I'm not sure if there's another word for dad but yeah that's all I'm saying.
I also hate when there's a fic where it explores wukong's side without actually exploring his side or when he's going through something and everyone gets mad without feeling sympathy for him.
ie. let's say in this fic, macaque and wukong are arguing, macaque gets mad that wukong chose his new friends (his jttw friends) over him and or that wukong abandoned him for Heaven the cursed fillet or the 500 years imprisonment under the mountain gets brought up. This usually goes one of two ways, they talk about their issues healthily, or wukong gets victim blamed 😐. It's like 'I actually wasn't having a good time in Heaven, they tried to kill me and they couldn't and i tried to escape but then Buddha imprisoned me under a mountain for 500 years.' and the fic either had Macaque not know that happened, or when he does know I've literally seen one that was like 'how do you think I felt when you were trapped under that mountain and tortured, that affected me way more than it affected you even though you were the one being hurt.' I just don't understand why people are hating on wukong so much. Like I enjoy when people critic his character but I hate the unnecessary over bashing, were people treat him like he's an huge manipulative ass-hole who only cares about himself when that's untrue and ignores a lot of his character. I also get that Macaque is allowed to be angry at Wukong, and also in a lot of the instances of him getting hurt he's missing a lot of the context of what happened and why. Like if you think someone abandoned and killed you for no reason you are allowed to want revenge and hate them, but also don't write him as the victim of the bad things that happened to someone else when it wasn't traumatic for him.
I also hate when people are like 'yeah one's an innocent little cinnamon roll whose never done a bad thing in his life and the other is pure evil and irredeemable and everyone hates them and everything that happened is their fault!' Also neither of them are cinnamon rolls they're both shitheads (but not in a ass-hole way in a funny way.)
Please stop, you should write them like this: 'Hey we've both hurt each other a lot and even though some of those instances of us hurting each other was out of control but it still hurt and we should work on our issues healthily and fix out broken relationship or even make a new one because we're different people now and we should move one while also acknowledging each of out mistakes and becoming better people from them.'
Also macaque dying was more traumatic than it was for Wukong, don't get me wrong I love the angsty concept of wukong being like 'please wake up' or 'i'll never forgive myself' but yeah it was more traumatic for Macaque.
Lady Bone Demon controlled both of them and though one of them was under her control longer don't make them try to one up each other, trauma ain't a competition y'all.
Moral of the story: if two dudes who identify as men adopt or have a kid together they're both the dad so call them the kid's 'dads' and not their 'mom' and dad. In a fight there's two sides to the story, someone's trauma and the bad thing that happened to them doesn't hurt you more than it does them even if that bad thing that happened to them does affect you in some way don't make it about you. Trauma is not a competition, don't one up someone when they tell you about something deeply upsetting and personal they're going through.
End of rant. Please remember this is an an opinion and suggestion if you want to make an au/fic where on of them is the worst I can't stop you and shouldn't try to since it's not gonna hurt anyone or me and doesn't affect my personal life.

Hi there! I hope your week is alright to you. Say, in your Time Swap AU, what happens in s4 and its special? Why and how would the Camel Ridge Trio mess with MK and his tudi, or do you already have that answer in another post? Does Azure still die in that AU?
I can't help but snort at imagining that if the JTTW fam of this AU see Canon Macaque anywhere near their Wukong without knowing any better, that shadow monkey is gonna get dropkicked by four demon kids and piled under them, ala Red Son in s1 special.
How does SWK feel about his monkey form after being confronted by his Ink self in the scroll? Does he confront MK about it? Does he get called the Harbinger of Chaos?
How does the meeting between the monk, the demon kids and their past lives in the scroll go?
How would the canon cast of Monkie Crew consisting of Mei, Sandy, Tang, and Pigsy react to meeting with their counterparts of the JTTW fam of Time Swap AU, specifically just them, excluding the monkey related dudes. What would they talk about? Would they gripe about their respective SWK to each other?
What is Erlang's role in Time Swap AU?
Have a great month! Treat yourself to something nice once in a while!
I actually haven't been working on S4 much, but that's probably because I'm in other three fandoms at the moment and I have other aus there too, or maybe didn't have motivation, but I'll answer anyway!
Though not everything I say here might stay as it is, so count it as a maybe.
- I was planning on changing who the trio is, but I can't figure out who. But I'm assuming it's going to be for revenge or some sort.
- yes azure will die here too, by the hands of sun wukong. (Or anyone who will replace azure.)
- he's not so happy, since he's literally given an identity crisis. He's been living thinking his biological family died in a fire, and that he was simply a human adopted by Tripitaka, but knowing that it was all a lie, and that he's a monkey now from a rock,,is not the best thing. Especially his ink self, he's not helping.
His name is now a lie too, since it's a foreshadowing that he's a monkey. As sun wukong literally means "monkey awakened by the emptiness.”"
- he'll be called that, even though I wanted him to be called something similar to the great sage equal to heaven.
- I don't think he can confront mk about it, since the guy didn't know either. (Not like ink wukong can blame mk or call him a monster, since mk from the start was NEVER threat or dangerous like wukong is in the original story during jttw, or before.)
- we get to see tang, pigsy, sandy and mei! Luckily mk won't be there, or he would have cried.
But it remains pretty similar to the original, just role reversed.
- tang would go crazy seeing them, but would also need to be reminded a LOT that they aren't the actual gang, but a different version of them (meaning they didn't went on the journey), Tripitaka would be kinda weirded out, but would also be curious about the journey tang keeps talking about.
Pigsy and bajie..like a dad disciplining their kid.
Sandy and Sha wujing would just vibe with the cats!
Mei and ao lie would want to know about their ancestors, and about each other.
they would ask about wukong yes, but mainly from the swap au.
- Erlang takes nezha's place!
Thank you!!

A Father’s Love
Another piece for @winterpower98's Swap Au.
I don’t really have a time frame for this scene, but with all the horror MK has had to endure in this AU I couldn’t help myself. I just needed a bit of fluff to break up my writing. Plus, I am all for Tang showing just how much he loves MK and being a protective father figure.
The poor boy needs a break, but we all know it won’t last.
_____________________________
“Well now, aren’t you a stubborn human.” Sun Wukong mused as he took in the one who dared to separate him from his creation.
The ground was split in a dozen directions. Craters dotted the landscape. The scent of volatile magic soaked the air. Yet, in the center of all this was a small circle of undisturbed land where his boy and the human stood unharmed.
The human didn’t look particularly impressive. If he had to guess, somewhere in his early to late thirties. He was obviously healthy but still suffered from the weaknesses all humans share. No, what truly caught his attention was the strangest sensation he knew this human. Almost as if the golden fillet was readying itself by his mere presence.
The human’s talent in magic was nothing to scoff at. Admittedly, it was nothing he couldn’t brush off, but seeing a human wielding so much raw power was supposed to be nearly impossible in this modern age. However, defying the odds here one stood before him trying to keep him from one of his treasures.
He was not alone in his curiosity. The Monkey King watched as MK stared at the bespeckled man in utter surprise.
“Since when could you do that?!” The newly revealed monkie demon all but screeched.
“Not too long.” The scholar cryptically stated.
His annoyance at the lack of an answer freed Mk of his fear. Just enough to swallow his need to be supported during this horrible moment and say what needed to be said. “You’ve got to run! Forget about me and get the others to safety!”
“I’d listen to my son if I were you, human.” The tyrant stated with a cocky smirk. “Since he’s started to learn his lesson about where he belongs I can be generous. You can take all your friends back home to rest up and we can continue another day.”
With a trembling hand, MK desperately gripped Tang’s pant leg. Praying that his love would be translated behind his pathetic display. “Please. I can’t see you get hurt because of me.” They were the kindest people he ever had the pleasure of knowing. He couldn’t bear knowing they got hurt trying to save him. The only reason they were in this crisis was because of him. If he hadn’t been so weak...
If he didn’t allow himself to be used, Wukong would still be trapped.
“Mk, you know I can’t leave anyone behind to suffer this tyrant’s hospitality.” The word was hissed out with more venom than a viper pit. “Especially not after learning of Macaque’s past.” Tang adjusted his stance so his side now supported the youth. His fingers twitched randomly, his eyes remained locked onto the armored demon. “Besides, we both know Mei would gut the two of us if we even think of considering it.”
It made no sense. They were in the presence of a being that filled the nightmares of all, from the lowliest human to celestial kings, yet young simian couldn’t help but smile. “Good point.” Compared to the Monkey Tyrant the young dragon was an insect, but she had earned the fear that accompanied her ire.
“Such a touching display. But do you really think you will be able to give him what he needs? That others will accept who he really is? You can say you love him until the sun blows up, but it will never change the fact he is me.” The Monkey King’s smile showed nothing but cruel amusement, but his tail betrayed his fraying patience.
“Do you take me for a fool? It doesn’t matter what he looks like, where he came from, or how he started out. He is my Son! And I refuse to let anyone abuse his kind heart ever again!”
Two hands slammed into the ground with unnatural force. Mystic runes and circles filled the air as the battlefield was bathed in a gentle yellow light. Golden ropes wrapped around the Tyrant as the earth formed a five-sided fortress around him. Symbols were burned into each side, somehow not concealing the burning rage from Sun Wukong’s enraged expression.
With that done, Tang grabbed MK’s hand and ran knowing full well both their lives depended on it. “Come on! That won’t distract him for long.”
Or at all. They hadn’t cleared five meters before they started to rocks crumble and mystic bindings viciously snap.
Somehow the two of them were able to reunite with Macaque and Mei in order to get some much-needed distance without any major obstacles. It was silently agreed that the Moneky Tyrant had let them leave. Why? They didn’t want to think about it. All they could do was patch themselves up and think of a new plan.
_____________________________
Pigsy treated them all to a delicious meal, after yelling at the four of them for tangling with the Monkey King. About how they could have gotten killed and berating them for thinking about leaving them behind. Tang was certain Pigsy’s volume was the only reason Macaque looked uncomfortable.
That night they all stayed with Sandy. It was agreed that they should stick together until the heat dies down. Mei stepped out to call her parents to warn them about ... everything. While Macaque had essentially taken over as her father figure it didn’t mean her birth parents were no longer a target. Macaque aided Sandy in setting up the spare rooms. Piggy was just cleaning up dinner and preparing a few things for breakfast.
Leaving Tang to begin creating wards to hang around the boat and MK to uncomfortably sit as he stared at the scholar.
“Why did you do that?”
Tang pushed up his glasses, looking more grave than the teen ever recalled seeing.
“I was preparing that spell the moment I opened my mouth. I figured after that outburst it was only a matter of time before he got bored playing nice and when for the kill. Despite what movies would make you believe, talking is not a free action.” His precious disciples learned that lesson the hard way.
“No. I mean...when you said all that stuff, did you really mean it? You view me as a son?” MK could barely get the last word out. It felt like all of this was just a wonderful dream and when he awoke he’d be back on Flower Fruit Mountain.
Tang set down his brush to fully face the demon. “Of course, I mean it. I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t.” He poured his entire soul into that truth, a fact he was proud to scream to the heavens.
“Even when I look like this?” Sharing the same face of the demon who caused so much pain and suffering. He could barely stand it, but the thought of continuing to live in his human form just felt even more unbearable. He was tired of lies. Tired of being used.
“So you look like a demon monkey, big deal." Tang waved off the concern, regaining his trademark confident sass. "Last I checked, we are close with several demons one of which is a rather famous monkey. At your core, you are still the same MK we grew to know and care about. You may have started out as Wukong’s clone, but you have come a long way since then.”
Seeing that the boy was still unconvinced, Tang wrapped his arms around the child’s shoulders and brought him in for a hug. “You will always have a place with me, with any of us. You are loved and appreciated, Xiǎotiān. Never forget that.” Circles were slowly traced on his back as shaky breathing gradually evened out.
Xiǎotiān nuzzled his father’s neck. Taking in the scent of aged paper, ink, and tea. “Can I sleep with you tonight?”
“Of course.” Gentle fingers slowly combed through his hair.
The world was falling into the depths of madness, but in this moment Xiǎotiān could deceive himself into believing everything would work out.

I saw you rebbloged something from Winterpower98 dad swap au. Is it ok if I ask for Shadowpeach from that au with 1 and 72?
I love this AU and I love these two IN this AU and I thank @winterpower98 for giving me so much serotonin.
Do not give me that look./Don’t you dare.
Macaque looked up from wiping his counter top clean, gaze pinpointing right at the only other person left in his coffee shop.
"Wukong," he grumbled outta, shaking his head as the other man looked at him with a smirk. "The longer you stay here stealing my merchandise the more I think you really do have nothing better to do with your time."
"Hmn... that's one way to put it," Wukong remarked with a chuckle, another louder chuckle escaping him as Macaque's expression fell into one of deadpan unamusement. "Do not give me that look, you should be used to this by now."
"And the fact I am actually starting to worries me," Macaque rebutted, sighing and shaking his head as he checked the stock behind the counter. "I've been meaning to ask, where's your little... companion monkey? Zan? I haven't seen them in a while."
Wukong shrugged at this, moving his body sideways to look at Macaque half sideways with a smirk. "Can't a guy want to visit an old friend alone more often than not?" He winked at the other, almost keeping him from noticing the tail that was slowly sneaking its way over to the small bags of chocolate covered coffee beans on the opposite side of the counter.
Almost.
The next sound that rang through the coffee shop was a yelp of surprise as Macaque reached over with surprising speed to smack the offending appendage (though it was nowhere near hard enough to actually hurt).
"Don't you dare." Macaque said with a low growl, glaring at Wukong as he held his tail and pet the smacked part exageratedly.
"My my, didn't know you'd be so forceful," Wukong muttered, frowning for a second before his smirk was back in full force. He kissed the smacked part of his tail and stood, waving to Macaque before his tail just so happened to oversway and brush against the other monkey's face softly. "I know when I've overstayed my welcome. See you round.~"
Macaque watched as Wukong made his exit, eyebrow raising as he thought about what just happened. The other had never left so quickly before after being caught...
It was then that he realized the other never paid for the cup he had already drank and that knowing Wukong he was probably way too far to give chase already.
"One day I'm going to ban that asshole."
He did not, in fact, ever ban that asshole.

Welcome to chapter nine! This one was meant to just be another filler with one of my own AU’s, but Tang just had to be introspective and have a moment of character growth. Hope you enjoy!
EDIT: This chapter has been edited to include some new info dropped on the same day I originally posted this! More info in the End Notes!

Scattered Cicadas - Chapter Nine: Rocks and Roles
Tang knows how to act. That doesn't mean he likes to play every part.
----------
Tang liked to think of himself as a decent actor, at least back in the original timeline. He had been part of the theater class in high school and telling stories required a bit of a dramatic flair if you wanted to keep your audience entertained. Convincing Pigsy he was a popular food critic hadn’t been too hard back then.
The many cycles he had been through had certainly helped polish his skill into a genuine talent. That one time where he and everyone else had been professional actors playing the roles of themselves from the original timeline as part of a show had especially allowed him to hone himself to a greater degree than before.
Being stuck jumping through time had practically made it a necessity.
It wasn’t that Tang enjoyed what was essentially lying to his family. It was more for their protection. He had almost broken the “No Interference” rule a few times when he hadn’t properly reacted to events that, while shocking or upsetting to his family, were simply part of his routine by now. He couldn’t allow the repetitive nature of the cycles to make him slip up and potentially cause more harm by being confronted by his lack of surprise or fear.
So he acted. He gasped at all the right moments or screamed in fear when in danger. Every laugh, every sigh of exasperation, every freak out over something related to Wukong was perfectly performed so as to not to raise suspicion. So long as the proper reaction occurred in response to the correct effect, everything went smoothly.
It wasn’t too hard or taxing as he never needed to fake his enjoyment of being around his family. Luckily for him, he also didn’t have to act exactly as he had been in the original timeline, or he may have gone insane from the monotony of it.
The cycles where his background was entirely rewritten were blessings in disguise, really. They were new. Fresh experiences for Tang to have and not have to work as hard to realistically react to.
He treated them like a method acting exercise. The new memories as part of Tang’s new backstory was the motivation for the ‘character’ he was playing. He didn’t have to fully adhere to them, but they certainly helped him play the role provided to him for the cycle.
He still disliked playing the villain however.
It happened a few times before already. The most notable had been when Zhu Bajie was in the role of Sun Wukong as MK’s mentor.
Tang shuddered at the memory of that timeline.
Saying that version of him had been unhinged was severely downplaying the many atrocities he had performed on both himself and others. Committing suicide to erase his name from the books of the dead, killing demons to absorb their lifeforce, and cutting open his own chest to manually insert the gem holding that lifeforce into himself for power were simply the tamer actions he had committed.
He supposed that heartbreak, jealousy, and internalized insecurities could drive even the most benign people to madness so long as they properly justified their actions to themselves.
It had been the first time in quite a while that Tang seriously considered intentionally breaking the interference rule and just running off to live in solitude for the entire cycle. Getting “redeemed” had been one of the most difficult things he had tried to pull off.
Tang dodged a swipe from the Monkey King’s staff as he was brought back into the present.
He was the villain once again this cycle. Luckily though, he was much less of a threat to his family this time around.
He was replacing Red Son as the demon child of Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan.
Tang, Son of the Earth.
He wasn’t the only one who was switched around. Pigsy, who went by Bajie, was a human who had become Wukong’s successor. MK was a boar demon who ran the noodle shop. Red Son was a scientist and engineer who frequented the restaurant.
It was almost an opposite reflection of the cycle he had just been musing about.
“You’ll have to do better than that, noodle boy,” Tang taunted as he swung his arms to pull chunks of stone from the ground, his hands and the Earth he controlled both glowing with a golden-yellow light.
He supposed that it made sense for him to have some sort of elemental power if he was this timeline’s Red Son. Earth fit as he had certainly mellowed out over the course of the cycles, becoming more focused and self assured. His original self would have most certainly been associated with air with how flighty he had been.
Tang made sure to keep his full concentration as he attacked Bajie. Earth may be the element of the sturdy, but it had the potential to be much more volatile than fire. It was easy to let loose and cause a catastrophic earthquake. It took precision to control smaller pieces of rock without causing too much collateral damage.
Bajie batted away the earthen projectiles with ease and rushed into an opening Tang had intentionally left. He had to do his best to not rely on the fighting skills he had from previous cycles and use only what his memories knew when playing a villain. Otherwise he’d easily beat the fledgling hero and that certainly would be treated as interfering.
Tang winced as the staff connected with his ribs and sent him flying. He coughed as he pulled himself up, holding his injured side as he glared at the now smirking Bajie.
“How’s that for better!”
“This isn’t over,” Tang cried out dramatically. He activated his powers, this time summoning a whirlwind of sand to teleport away.
Another scene as the villain successfully played out.
----------
Tang sat in his workshop, calculating the specific size of a rune circle he would need.
It seemed that similarly to how Red Son was a genius that incorporated magic into science, this version of Tang was one who incorporated science into magic. Not a big distinction, but important in how the process worked. It still took an impressive amount of knowledge on both subjects to work them together in the end.
Setting his pen down to take a break, Tang looked around as he stretched. He caught his reflection in a nearby piece of metal machinery he had been fiddling with and examined himself once again.
He didn’t look too different from his human self, his face remaining the same. His hair was now a dark brown with yellow highlights and his glasses were much smaller. The biggest difference were the bull horns sticking out of the side of his head.
He didn’t mind them too much, but having to give up any pull over shirt for button downs was a hassle.
Looking at his horns lead the demon scholar to think about his parents in this timeline.
Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan.
Tang frowned as he recalled the less than comforting welcome he had received after returning from his defeat. The disapproving dismissal from his father and scathing taunts from his mother had been demoralizing. It would have hurt more if he hadn't had the years of time jumping behind him.
If this was how Red Son was commonly treated, it was no wonder he worked hard in everything he did just to gain a scrap of approval and praise.
And yet he knew they loved each other. The moments he noticed didn’t happen often, but he could tell that his parents held some affection for him, and he obviously cared for them. He just didn’t understand why they acted so cruelly to one another.
Was it a demon thing? Were they afraid that by showing their love they were showing weakness?
That was certainly possible, but Tang disagreed with the sentiment. He had been through enough cycles to see that love made one stronger. It wasn’t the weakness their enemies thought it was.
Tang was already planning on becoming redeemed in this cycle. It hurt to think his parents would disown him, but what if that didn’t have to happen?
He thought about that one specific cycle and how he had become so twisted. All of it could have been avoided had his past self simply let go of his long held beliefs and went with Bajie.
Now he just had to make two powerful demons do just that.
Tang was an amazing actor.
He also had many years of watching the people around him and knew most of them almost better than they knew themselves.
His current parents were no exception.
He could see the potential for a loving and healthy family, buried just beneath the surface.
It would take some work, but he was sure he could unearth it and polish that potential until it shined.
With renewed energy, Tang pulled out a blank scroll and began planning.
He had a family to save.
----------
Welcome to what I’m calling the Noodle Swap AU! It is named that way because the only change is that the pairs that make up the two most popular noodle ships (SpicyNoodles and FreeNoodles) swap places!
Shout out to @winterpower98 for their amazing Actor AU and Dad Swap AU mentioned in this chapter! Go check them out!
Yes, yes, I know I’ve basically made Tang here Terra from Teen Titans. Most people would give him Air as an element, but 1) we already have an Air user in Princess Iron Fan and 2) Tang has changed quite a bit since the start of this Time Hopping experience, as he states himself in the chapter.
I do genuinely believe there’s a loving family hidden somewhere underneath all the cruelty the DBK crew throw at each other. It’s already been hinted that Red Son will get a redemption arc in the show, but I want one for his parents too.
That’s all for now! See you in the next chapter!
:IMPORTANT EDIT!!!!:
There's been a few paragraphs changed and added to include the new canon lore for Tang in the Dad Swap AU! Go check out @kitkat1003's absolutely ASTOUNDING work, When the Tide Pulls Away and the Earth Sharpens to Steel! It is INCREDIBLE and if it was finished, you'd absolutely know there would be an entire chapter dedicated to it here.

NEW MONKIE KID AU
So I finally made my own au and have finally drawn something for it. It's a pretty simple swap au that I've been haveing way too much fun with
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Explanation under the cut
It's a Spicynoodles and Freenoodles swap au featuring Tang in Qi Xiaotian's spot as the successor to a powerful demon and Pigsy in the spot of Red as the bad guy.
Red and Xiaotian are married and run a noodleshop together where Xiaotian works part time as he also teaches a mythology class at a near by high school. The two of them have adopted Tang, who works with his dads as a delivery boy.
Tang is 19 almost 20 in this au and is the bigger book nerd ever and enjoys his Baba's stories of The Journey To The West, the stories of the Son of PIF and DBK, teaming up with SWK son the Monkey Kid, and Long Xiaojiao the Dragon Horse girl and the evils they faced together.
Tumblr media
Xiaotian at one point goes on to explain the story about how Long Xiaojiao had to take drastic measures on a demon however she had once been friends with said demon so instead of taking drastic measures she sealed the pig demon away under a mountain.
Now we flash to this Au version of Pigsy the son of a powerful pig demon who wanted a patch of her territory that she had lost centuries ago, and was willing to do what ever it took to take it back.
Tang stumbles across Pigsy and his father trying to bring the pig demon back and this is where tang stumbles across the dragon blade. He picks it up and it responds to him as he's able to escape and make it to his parents. Where Tang shows them and his best friend Sandy the dragon blade. Red and Xiaotian share a look and tell him that they can get him to the Dragon Horse Girl.
After multiple reveals and Tang being like "wait my grandparents aren't just wild cosplayers and are actually DBK, PIF and SWK?!?!?" Where Red and Xiaotian confirm and assure Tang that he's ready and that they'll help him and fight along side him. However he did pick this fight and he has to be the one to finish it.
And so Tang is trained under Long Xiaojiao as Tang the Dragon Kid or Pigsy's nickname for him "Freeloader" as they did the work to get the dragon blade out and he benefits from it for free.

Not sure if you're doing anything in the Dad Swap AU anymore but season 4 got me thinking: it's implied that the Camel Ridge Trio,or at least Peng, has a deep hatred of the OG JTTW crew since Wukong chose them over his sworn brothers. They trapped Wukong in the scroll to make sure he wouldn't get in their and if they found Macaque he probably would've gotten the same treatment. And Azure probably wouldn't want Bajie or Wujing interfering with his plans either. SO IMAGINE THE ANGST IF ALL OF MK'S DADS GOT TRAPPED IN THE SCROLL?
I actually planned for this AU to end somewhere after the spider queen special, I never considered doing anything with season 3 and 4
But I like the idea! It definitely has a lot of angst potential

May I ask for 36 and 19 general with swap au please?
Hope you don’t mind me switching things up and using the roleswap AU I made with Monkie Kid Red, Green Dragon MK, and Demon Mei!
“Hold onto me.” / “Do you trust me?” “No.”
“I blame you for this,” MK coughed, lungs thankfully not crushed from the boulder on top of him. His legs and right arm were pinned under the almost unbearable weight and yet he still had the energy to glare at the demon, sword in his free hand. Mei remained about as intimidated as if a crab was wielding a knife at her, meaning not at all. It was almost impressive how she could give the other a deadpan stare while struggling to hold up a rock about three times her size.
“Looks like you caught me, I totally caused a cave in which leaves me having to hold up this dumb rock from killing us both!” Mei hissed, “Honestly, use your brain, Idiot Dragon.”
“That’s Green Dragon to you, Hothead!” MK snarked back, making slow progress wriggling his way out from under the boulder as now his other arm was free. The sharp stab of pain in both of his ankles made him realize that he may not have survived the cave in unscathed like he had hoped. He must have done a poor job hiding his pain because Mei’s expression lightened up, her eyes looking upon him with concern.
“What’s wrong now?”
“...I think both of my ankles got sprained,” MK admitted with a small bit of shame. Mei could only curse at their rotten luck. They were both left silent as they struggled to figure out how to escape their impending fate.
“Do you trust me?” Mei asked and he barely hesitated with his answer.
“No.” Yet the demon didn’t look his hurt at all by this.
“Good, it means you’re smart but can you at least trust me to get that boulder off you and help me hold out until Red can find us?” MK chewed his lip in thought before giving her a small nod, much to her relief. “Good. Now, don’t move.”
That was the only warning Mei gave him before she suddenly manifested bull horns and headbutted the boulder hard enough to make it crumble to pieces. MK wheezed as he could now breathed easier but was now even more aware of the various aches and pains throughout his body.
“There, I did my part. Now help me out here before my arms give out.” He could hear the slightest bit of desperation in her voice as her body started to shake under the rock’s weight. Climbing to his feet and gritting his teeth to work through the burning agony, he leaped and slashed at the slab until it wasn’t at risk of suffocating Mei. The demon fell to the ground in relief with him not far behind as the pain sapped at the last of his energy.
They both lied there side by side on the cave floor in silence before MK inevitably broke it, always hating it when it got quiet.
“Didn’t know you had bull horns.” Mei raised an eyebrow at what sounded like one of the dumbest statement she heard all day.
“Dude, have you seen my dad?” He flushed a tiny bit at that in embarrassment.
“Fair enough, but for what it’s worth... they look really cool on you,” MK confessed and his flush worsened at the look of surprise which morphed into smugness as the demon processed what he said. Before she could start teasing him for it, a familiar red and gold staff pierced through the cave ceiling, allowing welcome sunlight to filter in.
And an even more welcome face to slide down the staff, shoulders heavy with worry.
“MK! Mei!” Red cried out as soon as he saw the two, rushing over to pull them into a tight hug. The two of them could sag into his arms in relief. “Thank the heavens you two are alright! Are either of you hurt, anything broken?”
“Nah, we’re fi-”
“Cupcake’s got two sprained ankles. Pretty sure I’ve torn a couple muscles,” Mei cut MK off, not even reacting to the glare thrown her way by him. She felt a tightness in her chest when that made Red’s fretting even worse but she wasn’t going to lie about her injuries here.
“Let’s get you two to safety, I have a first aid kit above ground. Hold onto me.” He didn’t need to tell the exhausted duo twice, though MK kind of squished Mei between him and Red as the demon was still as limp as a noodle. Once the two were secure, Red grabbed the staff and began the careful journey home to patch the two up.

I know you said you are not updating this au right now. But I am curious if Pigsy deeply regrets leaving Tang? Did he try to find Tang after the journey? Although, I don’t know why he did. I read the fic about it but I am still confused.
(assuming this is for Dad Swap AU)
Nope, Pigsy does not go back to look for Tang, because he feels guilty.
And by the time the journey ends and he thinks he should go back, he realizes Tang is probably dead. He does go back to the monastery once to mourn, but he doesn't look for Tang

Did you base Dad Swap Tang and Pigsy off of the fandom designs for Philza and Technoblade?
Nope!
Tang is based on the two sisters from "Kubo and the two strings" and Pigsy/Bajie is based on the three nailmasters from Hollow Knight
