World KFJ karting champion Logan Sargeant from Boca Raton, USA takes part with Team Motopark in the brand-new Formula 4 UAE. We interviewed one of the USA's brightest prospects.

Who inspired you to start racing? And how old were you?

My Father inspired me to begin my racing career when I was five years old.

Who is your idol?

Forsure my idol is Michael Schumacher just from the pure fact that he was so talented to be able to achieve seven world titles.

Are you wanting to be a full time race driver?

I definitely want to become a professional racing driver in the years to come. Hopefully to get into Formula 1.

Away from racing, what are your interests and are you particularly talented at anything else?

I love fishing and spearfishing when I am home in Florida. I also play a lot of basketball.

Racing drivers are generally viewed as being fearless. Illness apart, is there anything that really scares you?

Of course before you enter a race you are a little nervous, but once the lights go out it’s like full attack and nothing even crosses my mind.

How often does your family come to races?

My family comes to maybe half of my races.

If you met Lewis Hamilton, what would you ask him?

I would just ask him what he would have wanted to been told when he was driving in junior level formula, and what he thinks would be most beneficial for the future.
