I was listening to Fearless Hero when I realized the music where Puss fights the giant could possibly go well with Mario and Luigi kicking Bowser's ass
I saw the challenge and accepted it :)
Tried to sync it in a good way the best I could, but I think I got the energy you were searching for pretty well enough. It sounds pretty good with it!
can’t believe there are really folks out here defending bowser
“oh he wasn’t a monster he just wanted love” OK first of all, he didn’t love peach.
If he really loved her, he never would have forced her to marry him by threatening to kill her toads. That’s toxic asf. No two ways about it. And he was just gonna sacrifice a bunch of random people “in her honor.” that’s obsessive behavior.
He’s not in love with peach, he’s obsessed with her and power hungry. Also he was literally planning to destroy her kingdom so there’s that too.
So yeah I’m with Peach, I’d never marry him either.
Animated Movie Bowser: She is beautiful. Perfect! The way she moves, talks, how she keeps getting away from me. Even though I failed, I'm going to try to marry her again. And if she says no... I'LL BURN DOWN THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM AND MAKE HER WATCH AS I KILL EVERY TOAD ONE BY ONE UNTIL SHE SAYS YES! AND IF MARIO AND LUIGI COME, I'LL MAKE THEM SUFFER! PEACH WILL BE MINE!
Live Action Movie Bowser: Peach? I don't know a Peach. Daisy though... *does that weird tongue thing he does in that movie*
Cartoon Bowser: Peach? Oh you mean that pesky princess Toadstool! She's a thorn in my side, almost as bad as those plumbers!
Paper Bowser: She's so pretty, and sweet, and pure hearted! I like her! And she's my wife!
Complete Monster Near Miss: Bowser from The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023)
Qualifications
Heinousness Standard: Pass.
Burns down the penguin kingdom and captures everyone in it in order to obtain an extremely powerful item.
Is shown to mistreat Kamek, his second-in-command and hype man, and the rest of his army, forgetting what a Spiny is and burning a koopa who questions him to death.
Tortures Luigi in order to get information about Mario out of him.
Attempts to marry Peach against her will, also trying to sacrifice hundreds of prisoners of war "in [her] honor," Luigi included.
When she rejects him, he straight up tries to nuke the Mushroom Kingdom.
Nobody is able to really compete against him, as the only character with his resources.
Lack of Redeeming Qualities: Pass.
It's worth noting that Bowser's mainstream counterpart has a ton of redeeming qualities: he cares about his son, he's willing to team up with Mario on occasion, and perhaps most importantly he legitimately cares about Peach in the games; in this movie, he clearly has a possessive desire for her, given the fact that his response to her rejection is attempting to destroy her kingdom.
Taken Seriously: Not quite (see below)
Other Qualifying Factors: Pass.
Disqualifying Factors
Given this is Illumination we're talking about, there are several moments where he's played for laughs, the Peaches scene and his defeat included. However, he's still taken rather seriously for an Illumination villain,
Just posting some pics of Movie!Bowser that I found in Pinterest/Twitter/Google Images because thehyperfixation I've had on this man for the past like two months is hitting like a truck right now aaaaaaaaaaaa
Second Sketch Dump of The Super Mario Bros Movie! ❤️💚🩷💛🔥🍄
I know most of you already saw most of these, but I've fixed small details on some of them so they would look better 🥰, and of course, I finally drew Bowser and Toad! I'm also trying to get used to draw Peach's hair.
As for Bowser, this was my second try on properly drawing him, and let me say that I'm more than happy with the result 😄
This is going to have some spoilers for the Super Mario Bros. Movie, so you've been warned!
The Koopalings, aka Ludwig, Iggy, Morton, etc. aren't Bowser's kids, but they're his nephews and niece. He basically adopted them and treats them like his own children Jr. on the other hand is still his son. The reason why they weren't in the movie was because Bowser had them somewhere else until after the wedding to keep them safe.
