Playing with the cast of a3!botw au again.... bec I'm thinking abt giving myself more breathing room with it. For example, Urbosa -> Omi is a clear distinction bec they play very similar roles, so I very cleanly placed Omi in her character slot. But I mean... just because he's taking her role doesn't necessarily mean he has to be HER, ykwm? He could still be the maternal figure to the team while being idk... a friggin Goron, right? A silly round guy? A chance to maybe treat the silly rock guys a little more seriously? But they're so silly shaped it's hard to not put a very lighthearted character in that role ;-; Is this making ANY sense....

Okay, but why the "Kannabi" Bridge? I mean, why is this called that? Turns out, this is an amazing and very beautiful metaphor.
Kakashi Gaiden analysis. Kannabi — the bridge between two worlds
I will look at this from the side of Shinto culture (based on the materials that I could find, feel free to correct me if you know more about this) and from the side of Kakashi and Obito's storylines.
Contents | cultural code · significance for the plot structure · the idea itself (this one is really important!)
Tumblr media
Cultural code
In Shinto culture, it is not customary to divide the world into human and sacred, especially into divine and demonic principles — everything exists in harmony with each other, in a single system.
Kannabi (神奈備) refers to a region that is a shintai (repositories in which kami reside) itself, or hosts a kami. In fact, Kannabi is a place of connection between the human and the spiritual. Usually these are mountains, rivers, and forests that stand out for their beauty. These are such accumulations of natural energy, so sacred that their presence requires observance of a certain rite. So, if in relatively modern times be present next to the blossoming sakura, picnics in picturesque mountains and the like has normalized in Japanese culture, then in ancient times people did not dare to disturb mountains or groves with their presence. In such places, people performed rituals of worship to the deity, wrestling matches, divination, sacred dances, offerings, etc. The territory of the kami did not completely coincide with the territory of worship to them, people still tried to move away from the center of the sacred place so as not to bother their deity. To mark the border of entry into Kannabi, symbolic gates were installed — most often in the form of torii.
examples of kannabi in real life. Mount Fuji and Nachi Falls. [ as I understand, shintai and kannabi are synonymous concepts, but kannabi is broader in meaning. ]
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's all about how important the term is in a cultural context. A place of divine power that cannot be desecrated. From here, the Kannabi Bridge and the surrounding area can also be considered endowed with divine energy — and here the most interesting thing begins.
Significance for the plot structure
Now about the scenario composition. In general, the Battle of Kannabi, as the event itself in Kakashi and Obito's storylines, according to Joseph Campbell's «hero's journey», is a stage of transition between worlds. That's what the symbolism of the place also works for. This is the moment when the hero assumes responsibility for the beliefs he carries and their consequences, and literally or symbolically crosses the threshold between the safe and familiar world to the dangerous and unknown one, embarks on the path of reflection and prepares to meet the unconscious.
Tumblr media
Thus, briefly speaking, Kakashi finds the strength to resolve his internal conflict in favor of his father's attitudes about the value of each Shinobi, and Obito sacrifices himself, protecting his loved ones and defending his ideals. Then their paths got separate so that each one could face with the unknown by himself.
Tumblr media
In the context of the monomyph model, this is how the beginning of the initiation stage is demonstrated (i.e., the transition from one state to another, which is accompanied by some kind of ritual). Since Kannabi in culture is the boundary between the human and the divine, it can be concluded that this very transition is shown almost literally, thanks to the sharingan awakening and the broken tanto. This is the first turning point in history, structurally coinciding with the end of the first act.
The idea itself
And what do we see in general? In the battle of Kannabi, the religious Shinto subtext is vividly read. For the battle in a sacred place, the moral positive change of the hero (Kakashi) or his original courage (Obito) and a certain sacrifice (Kakashi's eye), the deities give a reward: the power of sharingan, which helps them save Rin, which is shared between Obito and Kakashi and in the future generally serves as a direct demonstration of the spiritual connection between them. At the same time, for the desecration of a sacred place (the goal of the mission was to blow up a bridge), heroes are punished: from this point of view, Obito's death is a certain sacrifice for the damage inflicted on the deity.
Tumblr media
There is also information that the name of the bridge - Kannabi-kyo (神無毘橋) - can also be interpreted as «A bridge where the gods won't help». idk if it's true, but sounds cool.
Moreover, the very name of Obito's mangekyo — Kamui (神威) — literally translates as «The Power of Gods». Perhaps it is based on the mentioned concept of the place where Kakashi and Obito received the power of sharingan. And maybe that's why they call the technique the same way: because they treat it rather with such a religious meaning.
Tumblr media
and thanks for reading to the end ♡

Are there any mangas or anime you really enjoy?
Yes!!! :D here are just a few I especially love:
✧ Summertime Render - I LOVE THIS ANIME/MANGA OMG...... I cannot hype it enough. The plot and its twists had me at the edge of my seat throughout. All of the characters have such strong personalities, the villains are really well done, the mystery and action are executed wonderfully, the pacing is great, the setting is amazing, the ost scratches my brain!!! In short, everything about this series is 10/10 for me.
✧ Great Pretender - another series I love to pieces! The backgrounds are so aesthetically pleasing,,, uuuwaaaa. The characters are so memorable, and the plots for each individual con are amazing. I'm left breathless every time because somehow the stakes just keep raising. It's so good!!!!! The opening song is also such a banger?!?!!??!! orz I could listen to it forever.
✧ THEO by Aono Nachi - it's such a cute BL. 🥺 I loved the dynamic between Theo and Rei. Maybe it's because I'm weak to master-servant dynamics, but then I also like how emotional their romance is and how stubborn Rei is. It was really wonderful!!
✧ Marriage to the Wolf by Inui Hana - another lovely BL!! I adored the dynamic between Kaede and Ren. The way they couldn't stand each other in the beginning..... slowly growing closer and softening to each other. The way they're both doing things out of obligation at first because it's an arranged marriage and the fact that Ren is holding back for Kaede's sake...... THEIR BANTER!!!!!! orz orz
✧ Devilman Crybaby (the netflix adaptation) - THIS SHOW. It hurts me every time I watch it. The ost is a banger, the art style is amazing, the way I cried ugly the first time I watched it. The "why am I the only one speaking, Akira?" haunts me to this day. I highly recommend it.
✧ ODDTAXI - the plot and the twist omg!!!!!! And the mystery!!!!! I may be biased because Riddle's VA voices Odokawa and I love anything that Natsuki Hanae does!! His work is always outstanding. The opening is also another banger. I can't say much without spoiling something major, but I highly recommend this anime. It's definitely worth the watch!!!
✧ The Disastrous Life of Saiki K - Saiki K my beloved. It always manages to make me laugh. I love Saiki's character. He's so funny, as is the rest of the cast. Kaidou never fails to make me laugh, especially in the dub. He's so silly. I think about "drowning in inch-deep water isn't easy" every day LOL.
✧ Romantic Killer - AAAAA I LOVED THIS SHOW!!!!! Maybe it's because Anzu is such a relatable female lead to me (but also because Riddle and Leona's VAs voice two of the main love interests hehe). It's so fun! It also handles the serious aspects of its plot really well. I loved Anzu's dynamic with Riri.
✧ Death is the Only Ending for the Villainess - it's been a moment since I've caught up with this manhwa, but I love it!!! The characters are all really striking. Most of all, I really like Penelope's character!!! <3 she's such a strong female lead. I like her interactions with all of the characters.
✧ Toilet-bound Hanako-kun - this manga is everything to me!!!! I absolutely adore the plot and its characters. Hanako and Yashiro's dynamic is really cute. :D I forgot what chapter I left off on, but I remember it left me in shambles. T^T

For any Kirby oc! 💫🪄⚡️⚙️⚖️🦋
First of all, a big apology for posting this late, I just didn't know how to respond And to answer these questions I will use Mitty and Natsumi o Nachi
🪄 (Magic Wand) - Are they capable of wielding magic? Is it a learned skill, or is it innate? What sorts of spells can they cast? Do they possess any magical items or artifacts? [e.g. the Dimensional Mantle]
If both can use magic to some To some extent, Mitty can using fire magic involves creating it and also controlling it, Nachi can use air and wind by making things float or giving gusts of wind.
Tumblr media
💫 (Shooting Star) - If they were to wish on a clockwork star, like Galactic Nova or Star Dream, what would they wish for?
Tumblr media
⚡️ (Lightning Bolt) - Which Power Effects [Blizzard, Bluster, Sizzle, Splash, Zap] would their attacks grant? Do they have any particular weaknesses or resistances, elemental or otherwise?
I think Nachi would be a blizzard If there is any disadvantage it would be to use it in closed places since there would be no way for the air to escape, and Mitty would be a fire Clearly his weakness would be water.
Tumblr media
⚙️ (Gear) - Do they have any knowledge of, or connections to, the Ancients? What do they think of them?
Nope, none of them are connected to the ancients, but Nachi believes that they will colonize a large part of the galaxy and leave various things of theirs On the other hand, Mitty believes that the ancestors are not what they say and believes that they stole technology from other cultures or that they simply do not exist.
⚖️ (Scales) - On the subject of a certain someone’s lengthy rant; is your OC moreso on the side of magic or science? Somewhere in-between? Do they incorporate the two together in some way?
Both are more affiliated with magic than science, but that does not mean that they use combinations of both sometimes or that they have a bit of technology that helps with their magic.
🦋 (Butterfly) - Does your OC ‘fear the reaper’, so to speak? If they fused with Morpho Knight, what sort of form would they take on
Tumblr media
If both of them, because of what they have been taught in their lives, are afraid of the reaper, they know that if they see it it will be a misfortune or the death of someone.

≿━━━━༺❀ nachi ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and an inugami. everyone around you adored you, constantly comparing you to a puppy, which was becoming increasingly hard with your strong mood swings.
✿ you were 8, and your mother had just recently died, leaving you with an early trauma. nachi had been a nekomata for just 5 years, though by technicality he was way older.
✿ you'd ran away from home, being at home still being too hard for you. you were huddled in an alleyway, debating whether to go home or not when you noticed a starving cat a few meters away from you. all your own worries suddenly disappeared, and the need to take care of the little thing took over. so you picked him and started walking. your father was rather confused to find you in the main room trying to feed a kitten tuna.
✿ you officially adopted nachi as your pet after that, of course under the name tama. the two of you were almost never separated, and you made taking care of tama your utmost priority, mostly at first to distract yourself from the grief. but soon it became just a habit to always be together.
✿ nachi didn't really know who you were, but he loved you from the first sight. you were so gentle and kind, even when you had tear tracks down your cheek. and after you took him in, he swore to always protect you. you obviously thought he was just a cat, but you loved him all the same. he was just so tiny, so vulnerable. you couldn't help but want to take care of him. you somehow instantly knew that he would become your best friend.
≿━━━━༺❀ kagemaru ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a kuchisake-onna. you were an extremely insecure person due to this, and people mostly just saw you at the local sweets stores. you dislikes being around people too much to be anywhere else.
✿ you were 25, a year older than kagemaru. your mother had been killed 15 years before, while his parents died almost two decades prior.
✿ you'd been on your way to your usual store, when you saw the prettiest geisha you'd ever seen. of course, you didn't approach her, you would've rather done cartwheels down the avenue rather than talk to a person, but she saw you and came up to you to flirt. it didn't take you too long afterwards to figure out that this wasn't a pretty woman, but a pretty man. kagemaru was rather impressed with you figuring that one out.
✿ you started seeing kagemaru pretty much every time you made your usual sweets run, though you were refusing to actually speak to him for a long time, especially after he started asking about your mask. eventually you started talking to him though, and started a tentative friendship (mostly founded on the fact that he gave you sweets every once in a while).
✿ kagemaru found you interesting. that was most of his thoughts at first. you were so pretty, he was certain, if only you didn't wear that damn mask. but he was willing to be patient for you, for some odd reason. he wouldn't have, for anyone else. kagemaru was the most beautiful person you'd ever seen. and it was very intimidating. you were fairly certain he wasn't exactly as appeared, his presence far too sinister, but somehow you knew he wouldn't harm you. he never had, and never would.
≿━━━━༺❀ akiyasu kurahashi ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a hō-ō. you ran a little business of your own, making clothes for people, mostly for weddings. everyone around the city knew to come to you for the most beautiful of kimonos and yukatas.
✿ you were 20, as was aki. he'd been in the military for three years, about the same amount of time you'd been running your little shop out of your home.
✿ akiyasu came by your home to get his clothing fixed, as he'd been recommended by tatsuomi to come to you. the moment you opened the doors for him, akiyasu got way too flustered to make the request he'd come for, and almost ran away. if it wasn't for you offering him some tea you'd just made, he probably would have. so he eventually got the courage to come inside and actually talk to you, though it took some coaching from you.
✿ akiyasu started coming by often, at first with excuses of fixing his clothing, but eventually he just came by to chat. you didn't think this particularly strange, there were plenty of people who came by just to talk to you, which you admittedly loved doing. but something did tell you that this wasn't just about a little chatting.
✿ akiyasu took a moment to realize what you actually were, at least the onmyoji part, you were way too distractingly bright. but after he did, he realized you were perfect. far too perfect in fact, something about you... but his mission was more important than any of that. you found akiyasu to be extremely cute, a lost little puppy who wondered into your shop unexpectedly. but a part of you also found his presence to be unnerving. you had no idea why, he never acted strange or anything, but something about him made you ache.
≿━━━━༺❀ tatsuomi oyama ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and an enenra. a tragic little story for most people, and for the rest the weird little kid with an unhealthy fascination with fire. not that you much cared for anyone's opinions.
✿ you were five, just a child. it had been two weeks since the fire, since your mother died. tatsuomi was two years older than you, barely aware of the world himself.
✿ tatsuomi's family came to visit you, to help your father after your mother's death. you'd been sitting in the yard, while your father talked to general. nobody wanted to bother you, you'd been so strange since the incident. but tatsuomi, he saw you in the yard and came by to talk to you. he was the first person who didn't look at you weirdly in weeks. so you let him play with you.
✿ initially, tatsuomi's father didn't want him spending time with you (your play tended to be rather disturbing sometimes), but after seeing the effect it had on the both of you, he allowed tatsuomi to come and go as he pleased. and soon enough the two of you were inseparable.
✿ tatsuomi did in fact find you kind of strange, but no stranger than any other five year old he'd ever met. and somehow tatsuomi knew that you were most likely just lonely, with no one around who understood. so he became the one who did. tatsuomi was... nice. that was really the only way you could initially describe him. but he was the first person who was nice to you in a long time. even your father didn't look at you that kindly. so he became someone you clung to.
≿━━━━༺❀ yakumo koizumi ❀༻━━━━≾
✿ you were the only child of a famous art-dealer and a ningyo. you were a well respected researcher in town, though nobody really knew what you were ultimately researching about. so, despite your sinister eyes, people often came to you for help.
✿ you were 25, and already a well respected member of society. your mother had died a decade prior. yakumo was... well, nobody actually knew how old he was. he'd just recently arrived in japan.
✿ you were researching western mythological creatures, which your father had become aware of, so using his connections he arranged a meeting with professor koizumi. a meeting which you gladly took. and the moment you stepped into his office, was the moment that completely changed both of your lives. it was a single instant, of absolute obsession. to say the rest of the meeting went well would be an understatement.
✿ you and yakumo became intense research partners, spending copious amounts of time in your offices together. though very little of that time was actually spent on any research, more so on finding more and more about each other and fueling what was to the rest of the world becoming an unhealthy obsession.
✿ yakumo felt it deep in his soul the moment your eyes met. the spark of life he'd not felt in so long, if ever. and despite your status as an alpha, you seemed to be made of porcelain. so fragile, so easily breakable. he couldn't let anything happen to you, not again. when you met yakumo, all your troubles seemed to disappear. which was strange, you were always troubled. in fact, you don't remember a time you weren't. and he was so lost looking, he looked like he needed direction in life. and you had always been one for him, hadn't you?

Lexember Day 23: Sandak
sandak, /san.dak/ *san-ɟak - (n.iii) dialect, local language
Literally "town-speak," this is a term for the many local varieties of Jayodang, which differ enough from Classical Jayodang that they probably should be considered separate languages.

【Star Sign】 Self Introduction Start! ver.
KanaboshiP: Everyone, attention please! I’m going to give one assignment right now.
Haru: So lazy.
Yousuke: Annoying.
Souta: Shhh Yousuke! He will hear you!
KanaboshiP: Don't worry, it's not that hard.
Sana: It might depend on the skill level of each person to decide whether or not to find it difficult or not.
Arata: In other words, if it's in my hands, it's a piece of cake for a capable person like me!
Kazuki: Waa! Your way of speaking is funny!
Ritsu: I mean, what kind of character is that?
KanaboshiP: That! That’s it, Ritsu-kun!
Yuzuru: That? Which one?
KanaboshiP: You yourselves probably don't know what kind of characters you all are yet, do you?
Takumi: Well… that’s true.
Minato: Since most of us are meeting for the first time.
KanaboshiP: For assignment, please record a self-introduction video of about 2 minutes per person. Production will be a team effort.
Rui: So, the purpose is to deepen our understanding of each other and foster teamwork?
KanaboshiP: Exactly.
Nachi: Sounds good. Mutual understanding is clearly lacking.
KanaboshiP: By the way, the videos will be streamed online, so keep that in mind.
Kazuki: It's also a way to appeal to the fans?
Arata: It can also be seen as a team competition. That's interesting.
KanaboshiP: As a viewer, I'm looking forward to it too. Good luck!

Logophoricity and The Gay Fanfic Problem in my fantasy book
I have been dealing with a lot of pronoun confusion in my wip because there are many intimate scenes between people using he/him as pronouns. Someone on another website linked me to a discussion of the "Gay Fanfiction Problem," which now has me wondering if I can turn my conlang into a logophoric language and use logophoric pronouns in Elvish amid the English for clarity. I would legit do this. I use conlang words in-text constantly. I am conscious that using conlang words amid English text is a likely source of problems, including turning readers off the book entirely. Avid fantasy readers do have a tolerance for worldbuilding and terminology that readers of other genres would find unforgivably confusing, but I am pushing it already. I've been choosing to use conlang words for specific concepts with no perfect English or historic analog. I do define them. I think they make sense in context. But. Logophoricity might suit Elvish, in my books called lo:sa'lvaren (with the punctuation indicating diacritics that are hard to type on Windows, sorry). The main quality of lo:sa'lvaren is high bandwidth: it is an information-dense language with a defined spoken vocabulary and an undefined secondary "sung" vocabulary that confers additional information through melody. It would make sense to add info density here, where my native English fails me. The tl;dr on logophoric pronouns is that you basically have a second version of he/him (for example) that you only use when it's referring to a different he/him than the subject of the sentence (if my understanding of the Wiki article is accurate). Conceivably, a similar but distinct he/him (ke/kim for example) could be introduced early in dialogue as an alt-pronoun for males in Elvish society and then deployed in-text by the time intimate scenes happen. I don't think it's likely I'll do this...it's different using words for distinct nouns, like xilcadis to indicate a walled complex of palace and city where only a specific caste can live, versus introducing an entire concept that isn't even linguistically common in any major world language. But I do find the idea of it *terribly* interesting. The hostility of the Elvish language to readers is part of the purpose, btw. They are meant to feel distant and arrogantly unintelligible at times. I use language in my books to indicate the hostility of empire. What people speak, what they don't. Who they speak what language with. Who can learn the languages spoken. There's lo:sa'lvaren, Interlingual, and nachi| most prominently; within lo:sa'lvaren you have tonal and atonal forms, where only the tonal form is ever spoken by the highest caste. It's believed only they have the tongue for it. Interlingual is simplified lo:sa'lvaren, expected of non-elves interacting with the Empire. Nachi| belongs to the Dwarrow of the Mountainhomes. It's a very friendly language, comparatively. I don't use a ton of nachi| conlang words *unless* it is for a concept that lo:sa'lvaren doesn't have, like the complexity of gender that Dwarrow embrace. (Dwarrow have six genders and sets of pronouns.) It's way easier to read; your eyes skim nachi| and it's close enough to English you can sound it out. Not so with lo:sa'lvaren; my elves don't even want readers capable of sounding it out. You can see why, when I think of conlang usage in my books in terms of what is "friendly" to readers in a Doyleist sense and non-High Elves in a Watsonian sense, I might consider secondary pronouns in the narrative. But also then reject it. Because my intimate scenes bring together someone who look like a High and Low elf. All gaps in caste, class, language, etc have been crossed with physical touch, and I want readers to be immersed for those parts. That said, logophoricity is a brand-new concept to me which I find terribly exciting. Nachi| isn't nearly as developed as lo:sa'lvaren because the reader-friendliest language I can use in-text is English; I could more easily roll logophoric pronouns into nachi| for my own gratification! I've already got six sets of genders and pronouns. Why not add alternative logophoric pronouns too? A dozen different sets of pronouns widely accepted by a society! That is certainly in line with the ethos I desire to express with Dwarrow. (Btw, on the word Dwarrow)

What a3 character would you want in the batman universe and why-
ohmygod
i admit that my knowledge of batman is pretty limited to mostly the posts on this website and like the 3 movies i saw so i can't give the most amazing of replies to this,
but my first thought was definitely, the Autumn Troupe. Because i think they would cause so much chaos that it would put them on super villains/super hero radars
Like i can imagine. Omi belonging to a group of thug unaware the mafia of the corner was using them, and later he quited and tried to have a normal life but he's just hunted down in every corner. Probably has to turn into vigilante work for it, but also very likely to try to "reform" as a photograph journalist to try to take down the gangs and mafia he holds responsible for Nachi's death. He already has a codename after all.
Sakyo belonging to a mafia that's not so shady in general but therefore it makes people uneasy about how much they can approach him. I could see him become easily an informant from the underground in some way. Azami can remain pretty much the same but i can imagine that he'd run off from his father once in a while to try to catch a glimpse at super heroes in the city, or help them by starting fights. Sakyo and Batman being on speaking term because for years now Batman found Azami doing dangerous things and brought him back home to Sakyo, and Sakyo has to try to hide it from the big boss, so now they have a "🤝 my adopted child doesn't listen to me" solidarity.
Taichi's storyline can almost be 101, him being used by bad people first by promises of a happier future and then by threats and he's slowly losing it until either the rest of Autumn finds him, or Batman does. Except that it means Taichi is even more in danger than in canon so, huh, save him?
Juza is trying to live his life normally but thugs are always attacking him so he probably ended up recluently doing his own bit of trying to keep super villains at bay completely by accident. Probably got noticed by Batman in the sense "wow a teen who can fight and who's trying to not fall to what society is pushing on him is he an orphan or?"
Banri's story could be a mess because i think he'd go to vigilante work right away out of pure "need to feel some thrill" while he still has a moral compass, but it means he's not immune to villains who are like, not completely harmful? Like i think Catwoman could coax him into stealing a museum with her. I think esp that since he's not acting with any of the big guy at first, super villains could target him just to get rid of him, but eventually some would catch on his "super ultra easy mode" (tell me it's not almost a superpower) and would specifically try to recruit him to do bad things for them. Which would also put him on the good guys radar who would probably try also to get him on their side.
But as i love my troupes all together eventually i sure hope they get to all meet regardless and end up forming the second most dysfunctional superhero squad in all of Gotham. But there i'm missing the steps to get there.
Though i think, with the idea of Batman having crossed path with all of them, he'd probably be completely baffled by this team up. The fact that now all of them are protecting Taichi for example, or the fact Azami is much less willing to listen to any of the adults around them.
So, Batman turns to Sakyo and is like, so, huh, you adopted more kids? and Sakyo tries to deny, "like hell i would adopt those pain in the ass." and Banri would reply something like "yeah who would like a father like you" with Azami following "Ditto." Which is the one killer move to have Sakyo starts to throw dagger for eyes, only stopped because Taichi gets teary and "but we ARE a family right guys? guys??? guys???" and Sakyo gets Taichi-mailed into having to admit he cares about those guys. Batman just nodding because ah yeah that's how it is at home too it's fine.
Then in general nothing really stops the rest of Mankai to have normal lives in the background as well (from like half of Winter having a night life in crime infested Gotham and stuff like that) but Autumn is the one Troupe that seems to me like they'd end up involved in the middle of superhero/supervillain battles.
and i'd love to point out say, more dynamic with the rest of the Batfamily, but i genuinely only know them from shitposts so i will not do myself the embarrassment to try that.
Hope this lives up to your expectations ^^

Made another Ayakoi tier list again cuz it's fun 😆
This time it's based solely on physical appearance i.e. how hot they are (≧▽≦)🔥

For fairness, this is mostly based on what I thought of their looks when I saw them for the first time, because once I got to know some of them more in their books, I became biased. 😆 Take Kuya for example, he's only on the middle tier in terms of appearance but because he's my bias now, I would most likely put him on the highest tier because I fell in love with him and that automatically makes me think he's the hottest. (≧▽≦)
I guess sometimes, we'll just suddenly realize how hot a person is the more we get to know them. Either that or love is blind 😂 jk jk
Notes:
Koga - He's the face of the app, of course he's so dang hot! I mean seriously, whenever I see his card illustrations, I just swoon 😍
Oji - Similar to Koga, his card illustrations are just so dang swoon-worthy! ♡ Also, he reminds me of Kisuke Urehara, one of my top favorite characters in Bleach who I also think is hot XD
Toichiro - It's obviously because he always looks dapper and dresses to impress. Him being a kemonomimi also adds to his handsomeness 🦊
Shizuki - I always think butlers are handsome, I mean it's such a handsome job! He also reminds me of Vishnal, the butler from Rune Factory 4 who is also my chosen bachelor 😆
Gin - I swear it's because of his eyes. They're so friggin captivating! It doesn't help that my favorite eye color is blue. 💙 I also like his scales/tattoos? in his ayakashi form. And his past self! omg 😍 If Gin looked more like his past self, he would be on the highest tier.
Gaku - I already thought his younger self was handsome but his adult form, my gosh! Especially in his awakened Love's Floral Embrace card! *sighs* (⁄ ⁄>⁄⩊⁄<⁄ ⁄)♡
Yakumo - I LOVE his outfit. And look at his awakened Voyage on the High Seas card! 😍 Maybe I just like formal/semi-formal western/european outfits in general (≧▽≦)
Kage - Ngl, he knows how to rock a killer look (both figuratively and literally) as a guy AND as a girl. Best of both worlds (≧▽≦)♡
Aoi - HE LIKES CUTE STUFF 😍 Like his clip, his pink braided hair, and his pink outfit. I love that! I need more representation of guys who are feminine yet can still be just as handsome as those who are more masculine or have that boyish charm like Nachi & Kuro. Tbh, just because a guy is feminine doesn't make him any less of man. I mean, malewives exist (≧▽≦)♡
Yura - He's prince-like, especially with the way he speaks. Or should I say princess-like? cuz he's like a disney princess with all the animals liking him. 😆 Also, I automatically think someone is cute if they like animals. They get bonus points if the animals like them back (꒪꒳꒪)♡
Tatsu - Looks average in his regimentals but is rather cute in his casual wear. (=´ ꒳ `=)♡ Same with Aki & Kyo, they're more handsome in their casuals.
Also, everyone is automatically hot if they're wearing a tuxedo just cuz I said so (≧▽≦)♡
