“...oi, (y/n), wake up.” samon felt like he was being challenged. he doesn’t know by who; God, maybe? if there was a higher power, it was definitely testing him right now. 

the only reason he had ventured over into your building was because he’d wanted to show you the stars. the sky was particularly clear that night, and ever since you were children, you had always loved to see the stars. in fact, it was one of the reasons that despite working in a prison in the middle of nowhere, you enjoyed your job. 

however, when he’d walked into your small office, you were fast asleep on top of a rather tall stack of papers, completely knocked out. the sight hadn’t surprised him, since it was not an unknown fact that you always tended to slack off when it came to paperwork, (he hadn’t realized it had gotten this bad, but he supposes that it makes sense). 

he’d gone to go wake you up and tell you, let’s take a break and go look at the stars for a bit, but when he’d gotten closer, he’d heard something that he was most definitely not supposed to hear. 

“samon…” you had mumbled, freezing him in his tracks. 

now, what was he supposed to do? 

hearing you utter his name in such a way had gripped his heart in a certain way, and now he wasn’t sure what the hell he was supposed to do next. ignore it and walk away? wake you up and confront you? ignore it and wake you up anyway? 

“gah!” 

“GAH!” 

it seemed the choice had been made for him. 

“samon?! what’re you doing here?! why were you just standing there? you scared the hell out of me…” you exclaimed, clutching your chest to slow down your heart. 

“i just came to tell you the sky looks good right now. and i was standing there ‘cause i was about to wake you up…” he’d decided to take the cool and casual route at the moment, even though you’d caught him extremely off guard. “the clouds are all gone so i figured you would want to see it.” 

“oh, that actually all checks out. i was gonna call you a freak ‘cause you were watching me sleep, haha.” you laughed, standing up from your chair and stretching. “there’s no way i’m gonna be able to submit all this paperwork to warden hyakushiki by tomorrow, so i might as well! let’s go!” as you looped your arm around samon’s and started walking to the balcony, his thoughts began to go wild. 

he’d never really spent too much time thinking about his feelings, especially towards you; he was always focusing on his work and his prisoners. although they were still prisoners and he was still a guard, he’d grown fond of them, (though he would never admit this out loud to them) and helped them with things they brought to him. his little rivalry with hajime was also included with work, and because of this diligence, he never really allowed himself to even think of something aside from it. 

with you though, he found himself thinking less about work and more about normal things. normal things that a twenty-year old might think about, like having a girlfriend and doing things he enjoyed with her. he could teach her all about how to garden and the different kinds of plants and what you can do with them, and he could even train with her. 

except, in these fantasies, it wasn’t a random woman. it was you. 

and that was something that made him a little bit scared. 

now, samon gokuu is not a man to get scared and run away easily, and though he wasn’t running away from you, he was definitely a little scared. not because you’re scary, (at all) but wholly because it was something strange and unknown, and he had no clue what indulging his feelings would be like. he supposes it wouldn’t be bad though. being with you. 

your arm untangled from his as you two reached the balcony, the cool air of the night feeling refreshing. you walked up to the railing, leaning against it as you stared at the stars. 

“ahh, you were right; it’s so beautiful tonight.” you said, a warm smile on your face as you looked back at him. the slight breeze in the night lifted your hair a bit, framing your face damn near perfectly. 

you were beautiful. 

“yeah, um…it really is.” he managed to get out, feeling a little bit too entranced by you. his supposed best friend. he almost felt guilty for whatever he was feeling, but at the same time, he wants to be able to imagine having a future with you. 

as he joined you at the railing, you scooted a little closer to him, beaming up at him with such a joyful expression that it squeezed his heart just a bit, (it really just skipped a beat, he just didn’t want to say it). 

he keeps a small hope in his heart that one day, maybe, these same stars would look down on you and him as lovers. for now though? he’s content just being by your side.

Gremlin. That‘s what Samon calls that little bundle of chaos, or in other words; his boyfriend. First, it seemed like a rather harsh petname to give your lover, but all of building 5 learned to respect, accept or agree with that decision soon enough.

(Y/N)‘s mood was so unpredictable, but so incredibly predictable at the same time. Or rather, Samon forgets how easy he could tell what he was up to all the time.

„I wonder where (Y/N) is. Lunch break is already over.“ Oh right. He falls asleep in the spot after every meal without a care in the world.

„(Y/N), what are you-“ Ugh. Of course he dashes out to accompany the inmates to the gaming room.

„I‘m sorry, I can‘t fight you today. (Y/N) should be fre-“ „Ooooooh Li wants to fight!?“ „Where the hell did you come from?“

Nothing worth worrying or pondering about, actually. Though, it can suck quite a bit of energy from the supervisor, only just a bit. What really makes him a little gremlin is something else. In a moment of weakness - or rather, as (Y/N) was snacking on a peach bun - Liang and Upa were fighting two vs. one against Samon. A special occasion, I might add. Neither of the inmates seemed to be in the mood for cooperation that day. So one thing lead to another and…As Liang aimed a kick to Samon‘s stomach from one side, and Upa was charging his own attack from the other, Samon waited for the perfect moment to jump backwards, leading the two of them to collide.

The kick ended up flinging Upa away, and outside the training grounds. Crashing right into (Y/N), sending them both to the rocky ground. The peach bun now in the shape of a pancake, spread all over (Y/N)‘s guard uniform.

As soon as Upa realized what had happend, he stood up and apologized for crashing into him, before turning around to his cellmate, „Hey Liang, watch your foot, damnit!“ The poor boy didn‘t even notice the guard standing menacingly behind him, not until he felt his hand grab the back of his neck. „I‘ll make you pay.“

„(Y/N). It was an accident.“, Samon walked up to them, beads of sweat rolling down his temple, „I‘ll get you a new bun, and a clean uniform.“

„This is not about that!“, (Y/N) spat back, face unreadable, eyes burning holes into the back of Upa‘s head. „Then what is…“, too late.

Laughter. (Y/N)‘s laughter drumming through the area, letting go of the poor inmate, „Just kidding. Hehehehehe.“

„DAMNIT, YOU LITTLE GREMLIN!“

Samon didn‘t know if he was more mad about falling for it yet again, or the fact (Y/N) dared to do it yet again.

Child-like

Narrowing his eyes, (Y/N) stared at the plate of food infront of him. It was like he was trying to eradicate it with his fuming glare. His fellow inmates held a considerably large distance between them and him, fearing the aura that was slowly starting to seep through and out of his body. „What‘s wrong, (Y/N)?“, Liang sat down across from the male, next to Upa who was already sighing, „Is that even a question at this point?“, the Qigong master deadpanned.

„They forgot the flag.“, (Y/N)‘s tone was far too serious for the scenario that was going down, at least for those around him. To him, the missing flag on his burger could as well be a declaration of war. How dare they?

„I wonder if they enjoy this.“, Qi muttered to himself, joining the group at the table with his own tray in hand. It happened to be loud enough for his boyfriend to hear, however, judging by that loud scoff that was followed by a pout. Chuckling to himself, Qi placed down his tray and moved to solve this growing dilemma before it could actually become a problem. He stuck a little flag ontop of (Y/N)‘s burger, „You know, I still don‘t get why you get so worked up over this.“

As if worked with magic, the thick blanket of anger disappeared and made space for sparkles of childish joy to float in the air around the young man. You could hear the entirety of the cafeteria sigh in unision, not including Qi. He settled for a head-shake, lips adorned with a fond smile. „Heh, you‘re welcome.“, he chuckled out at how (Y/N) gulped down his flag-adorned burger, despite not being thanked for his service at all. It‘s fine though. Seeing that bright smile and hearing that cute little giggle was enough.

Besides, he was looking forward to the nap together after lunch.

Samon had just finished his shift and was on the train back towards the apartments. He was tired, all he wanted to do was collapse onto his sofa. As he walked through the door of his apartment he could smell food. He made his way through the apartment into the kitchen and saw the food being plated up. He smiled as he watched the h/c haired women place the plates on the table before turning around and jumping slightly at him standing there. They smiled at each other before she jumped over to him and into his arms.

"Welcome home monkey." Samon hugged her back and shook his head when she called him that.

"I'm home y/n." He replied as he pulled back slightly to kiss her.

They soon let each other go to sit down and have dinner. They had a pleasant talk about their day before they washed the dishes and made their way over to the sofa. Samon sat down and then held his arms out towards y/n. She smiled before climbing into his lap and pushing her face into his chest and she made herself comfortable. Samon looked down at her and a smile began to form on his face.

"You comfy there?" He asked her ask he hugged her close.

"Yes," she said as she cuddled him. "I'm happy you are back."

Samon broke out into a soft smile and kissed her head as they sat there in each other's arms.

-You liked your job, working in Nanba Prison, in Building 5, you were a guard, but you were more of the paperwork type of guard, handling all the reports and paperwork for your supervisor, Gokuu Samon.

-You admired the hard work he put into his building, you also admired his kind heart, willing to let several of the inmates train alongside him.

-You were like the mother of Building 5, to the inmates of cell 8 and Samon to be specific, as you were the one to encourage them to take breaks while they were training, preparing tea and snacks for them.

-Qi adored you, wanting to constantly flirt with you, something Qi and Liang wouldn’t allow, as they both respected you, you treated them like normal people, not as criminals, something they appreciated.

-The only thing that Samon didn’t like about you was your partner, a Capuchin monkey, who is usually seen sitting on your shoulder, his tail wrapped around your neck, to balance himself.

-It’s not like he had anything against your partner, Boo-Boo, but it was the jokes that everyone would make if both were in the same room, telling Samon, “Hey look it’s your brother.” And other jokes like that!

-It was so annoying and irritating!! It would get him riled up almost as much as when he would have to converse with Hajime!

-You were the only one who didn’t make jokes like this, something Samon did appreciate, but only because you didn’t really understand the jokes, much to his dismay.

-Boo-Boo was your baby, the two of you grew up together after you saved him from a poacher’s trap, and where you went, Boo-Boo was sure to follow.

-Boo-Boo was a guard as well, mainly helping you out, but he was skilled in the sense that he could easily traverse vents, hiding from inmates that were out and about, tattling to you on naughty prisoners or guards who were slacking off.

-Many didn’t like Boo-Boo, as he was a snitch, something Qi often complained about, as he would tattle to you if he wasn’t doing something he shouldn’t have been, mainly slacking off.

-Samon did appreciate Boo-Boo’s work ethic, as he would tell the leader of the 5th building if any guards were slacking off, pointing them out, to which then Samon would discipline them.

-You were content with your work, delivering paperwork between the different buildings, making tea and snacks, and staying in the office for the most part, keeping it running smoothly.

-Upa often joked to Samon, as they were both watching you puttering around the office while they were taking a short break, “This building would fall apart if it wasn’t for Y/N.” and Upa had been surprised when Samon just nodded, agreeing with him.

-You hoped that you would get to stay here at Nanba for a long time, you and Boo-Boo both!

You sigh with relief that your brother is taking this lightly.

During dinner Hitoshi and you were trying to keep light conversations, making jokes here and there and talking about their day.

The tension between Hajime and Samon though felt like it could easily be cut by a knife.

When dinner was over Hitoshi suggested that Hajime and him will do the dishes while you talk with Samon for a bit.

“Why. Did. You. Not. Tell. Me…that your brother was the stupid gorilla!!”

You panicked and looked at Hajime, making sure he didn’t hear that. You waved your hands around and tried shushing your boyfriends constant insults towards your brother.

“Please! Be quiet!!” You covered his mouth with both of your hands.

“I didn’t want to say anything because…I don’t know?”

“What do you mean you don’t-”

“Shshhhh let me finish! I told you I was adopted but I didn’t want to tell you that my brother was Hajime. I was scared you would leave because he was your rival or something?”

And then the two proceeded to brawl while you stood and watched with Hitoshi.

Hitoshi laughed and faced you, “Merry Christmas, (Name)!”

✗ first of all, samon will be super protective of you whenever he can sense that hajime is near, (i really do think he has an internal hajime sensor).

✗ it really doesn’t take a lot to get hajime and samon to start fighting, so if samon even catches hajime glancing at you, he will completely go off on him.

✗ “you ugly gorilla, don't even dare put. your eyes on something so beautiful!!”

✗ he’ll share his popsicles with you, especially if it’s hot out and you guys are sweating like crazy in your uniforms.

✗ hajime will try to not associate with you at all, and this is entirely because he does not want to deal with samon. there will be times that you two will have to work together, (probably supervising inmates) and samon will literally be livid, but he will just barely hold it together because it’s an order from the warden, so it has to be done.

✗ just overall, he is very protective, even when hajime isn’t around. i mean, this is an all-male prison, so i don’t suppose you can really blame him for being a little jealous whenever you’re talking with another guard. samon definitely needs to have a little bit more chill though, because sometimes he can be really intense with this, but as jealous as he gets, he completely trusts you and the fact that you would never cheat on him.

✗ when you guys are doing late paperwork in the office, he’ll take a few minutes to just watch you as you work. he thinks you’re really cute when you’re focusing on something, and with all your habits that you have.

✗ he’s the type of person to dedicate his everything to his s/o, even if he knows deep-down that they would neve do the same for him, so please don’t hurt him.

✗ he’ll let you trace over the tattoos he has on his arms for however long you want to; he loves the feeling of your soft touches on his skin. it feels like little zings! Everytime you make contact with him.

✗ when he’s feeling tired and needs a break, he’ll lean his head on your shoulder, whether its when the two of you are sitting side by side, or he’s standing in front of you and has his head leaned down.

✗ he’s pretty normal with pda, except at work. when you guys are at work, he will not be giving any signs to anybody that you are in a relationship, (this most goes for when there are inmates around). since you’re a guard underneath him, he also does not want to show favoritism towards you since you guys are dating. outside of work though, he’s fine with whatever you’re comfortable with; as long as it makes you happy. hand-holding, kisses, he’s down for all of it.

✗ samon will talk big game with you and will flirt a lot to try and make you flustered, (it probably works) but the second you fire back with something, he will be trying to cover his face because it’s turning red. he’s really down bad for you.

✗ when he does manage to get you flustered, he will be such a cocky little shit, so you better think of something to get him back with.

✗ sleeping on his shoulder on the monorail when you’re on the way to another building or leaving work is definitely a common occurrence. nanba is a lot bigger than a lot of people realize, so the monorail ride will usually take anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half.

✗ samon is overall a pretty cliche sort of romantic guy. he’ll get you your favorite flowers if you guys are going on a nice date, and he’ll clean up pretty nice. definitely the type of guy to set up a candlelight dinner for you, along with your favorite foods, (even if your favorite food is mac and cheese, he will find a way to make it look nice).

✗ he doesn’t really like to mention it, but he will be doing a lot of small things that he thinks will make your day better, even though he has a very busy schedule himself. he’ll do things like make your coffee in the morning, file your paperwork for you, do your laundry if you’re busy, and he’ll make you food and give it to you throughout the day because he wants to make sure that you’re doing alright and that you’re taking care of yourself.

✗ samon will definitely tell you a lot of stories from when he grew up in the mountains with enki and noriko, like how enki would train him and how he was so excited to get stronger, and how noriko would make the most amazing food out of what seemed to be nothing. you can tell by the way he looks when he’s talking about it that his childhood holds a lot of fond memories for him.

✗ the two of you will probably argue over really stupid shit, especially since samon gets pissed off pretty easily. you guys will also make up easily though, and samon will always apologize, (because let's be honest, he probably got annoyed that you were buying too many snack or some shit lmfao)

✗ he’ll definitely introduce you to noriko, and she is super sweet and really likes you. she had always wondered if samon would ever be able to get a girlfriend due to his rowdy personality, so she’s glad that there’s somebody who’s watching over him.

✗ when you guys cuddle, he’ll be cradling your head close to his chest and rubbing the back of your head with his hand. having your presence close to his makes him feel a lot more calm, and he also feels a lot closer to you in general.

✗ he’s a pretty clingy monkey whenever you two are alone, and he’s always going to want you attention on him, so expect for him to be hugging you from the back, mumbling about how you’d been “ignoring” him all day.

✗ “samon, we literally just cuddled in bed for three hours, i really don’t think i’ve been ignoring you.” “you haven’t talked to me >:(.” “we were asleep????”

Lol, I love Samon so much. And please no hate, my grandma just died so my mind is distracted, also I've gotten like, 4 hours of good sleep in the past week. Enjoy~

The guards were engaged in a 'friendly' game of 'Would You Rather'.

"Hajime. Would you rather....Be stuck in a tiny cell with Samon or have a hot make out session with the warden in front of all the guards?" Y/n asked innocently.

"Di, uuhhhh...." Hajime scowled, "Be stuck in the cell with monkey."

"'K..."

"Y/n. Would you rather eat a jar of cockroaches or confess to your crush?" Mitsuru asked, holding up a jar of cockroaches and waving them in her face.

"OH MY GOOOOD! IS THAT EVEN A QUESTION!!?? GET THAT AWAY FROM ME! I'D RATHER CONFESS AND GET REJECTED THAN EVEN TOUCH A ROACH!!" Y/n clung onto Samon and screamed while he was trying to get away from the jar.

"Then confess, or I'll release these little guys," Mitsuru smiled sweetly.

"SAMON!! HELP ME!!" She screeched and he shook his head.

"I'M JUST AS BAD AS YOU!! MITSURU STOP!!" The duo hugged each other and cried.

"Then confess, Y/n," Mitsuru creased his brows and flashed a bitch smile, unscrewing the lid a little.

"OH DEAR LORD, NO!!" Samon and Y/n shrieked and the other guards watched, very entertained.

"WOW SOME FRIENDS YOU ARE! ARE YOU AMUSED BY OUR SUFFERING!!?" Y/n yelled and they all nodded.

"It's not that hard, Y/n," the broadcaster said gently, unscrewing the lid further.

"Y/N!! THIS IS YOUR FAULT, JUST CONFESS, I'M SURE THEY'LL LIKE YOU BACK, I DON'T WANT TO DIE!!" Samon was literally having a meltdown.

"AND WHAT IF THEY DON'T!!?" She sobbed, terrified of the cockroaches.

"THE WORST THAT COULD HAPPEN IS REJECTION!" Samon wailed.

"AND UTTER MORTIFICATION!!" She snapped back.

"Oh well..." Mitsuru unscrewed the lid all the way but kept it over the opening.

"Last chance," he sang.

"Um.....You know what, cockroaches don't sound too bad right now," Y/n sweat.  Samon glared at her and grabbed her face.  He brought it to his and kissed her. She tensed up in surprise but soon relaxed and wrapped her arms around his neck. Kiji and Inori whistled and Hajime gagged.

"See, it wasn't that hard," Mitsuru cackled, securing the lid on the jar and setting it on a shelf.  Y/n pulled away and flung herself at Mitsuru and grabbed his ankles, she then swung him back and slammed him in the ground. His blood splattering her face.

"I don't wanna know why you had a jar of disgusting cockroaches, but the only one I see now is you. You might as well join your 'little friends'," she grinned and all the guards ran out of the room when Y/n grabbed the jar. She chucked it at his face and it shattered. She bolted of of the room and shut the door, locking it.

"HELP ME!!"

Y/n glared at the door and held up the middle finger, "Dat's what you get."

I can't really think of anything really specific, sorry, but what about him and his s/o in an early stages of relationship and his reaction to their firsts: like first time holding hands, kissing etc. I just need some fluff with the best monkey man I love him sm ❤️ Please and thank you! ❤️❤️

 - In an early relationship, Samon would be pretty flustered and unsure of himself, but desperately trying not to show it around his partner. He doesn’t like to ask others for help, so even though he hasn’t had a serious relationship before, he’d try and figure everything out on his own-and that might cause some distress early on.

 -Over time, as communication gets easier and he learns to trust his partner more, that early emotional stress will go away. His partner would become one of the only people who could see him with his guard down. He’s been burned in the past, so it takes a lot for others to gain his full trust.

 - In terms of physical affection when starting out a relationship, he’d be very much the same way he was with his emotions at first. Pretty nervous, but trying not to show it-this could result in grabbing his partner’s hand without warning (as he’d been psyching himself up in his head to do it for the entire conversation they’ve been having). If his s/o needs some kind of warning before he initiates anything physical, he’d try his best to be accommodating and not let that previous situation happen.

 -As the relationship deepens, he wouldn’t necessarily get more physically affectionate himself, but his partner would easily be able to tell when he wants something like a hug or a kiss. He doesn’t say it outwardly, but from the way he stands close to them or angles his body makes it very clear when he needs affection. He’ll give out his own affection if his partner asks, but he’d have a harder time picking up signals that aren’t verbal.

Hi Pandora! I’m so sorry I just got to this, as soon as I opened up requests, I got writer’s block and that wasn’t fun. But I finally sat myself down and got to work on my requests. The rest should be coming out shortly. I hope you like these and that I did Samon justice. It was the first time I’ve ever properly written anything for him.

-This boy is a mess around you, it’s so cute.

-But like, he’s the only one who hasn’t noticed that he has a crush on you (besides yourself of course)

-I guess it depends on where you stand in the prison (as a guard, prisoner, or even someone who doesn’t work at the prison)

-Although, I feel that if it were a prisoner that he was crushing on, he’d deny it even more and would probably not pursue this crush.

-But if you’re a fellow guard, oh boy he’s screwed.

-He most likely fell for you that one time you yelled at Hajime and literally did not care to tell him off in front of everyone.

-Once he finally acknowledges that he has a crush on you (most likely due to Kiji telling him to ‘man up and ask you out because for the love of god, you were both hard to watch’) he wants to make sure you like him as well, but subtly.

-That didn’t go well. Every time he tried to even go near you, he’d end up walking in a different direction to completely avoid you.

-You were hurt, because you were starting to think that he liked you too.

-The other guards eventually got sick of it, and by the other guards, I mean Kiji. Because let‘s face it, he’s the only one who actually cared.

-The pheasant left a stack of papers on your desk asking you to meet the warden in the break room. You thought it was weird, but went along with it anyway.

-He left the same message on Samon’s desk.

-Once the two of you were in the break room, he locked you both inside saying how he would only let you both out if you got over yourselves and talked about your feelings.

-Samon threatened to kill him for this.

-This experience also taught the both of you to never trust messages that didn’t come from the warden herself.

-You both sat around in silence for a good half hour because neither of you wanted to break the uncomfortable silence.

-Until Samon approached you, his face red.

-“I.....Do you want to...uh....grab lunch with me or something sometime?”

-You smiled, almost making his heart stop with that sweet smile of yours. “Of course Gokuu-san.”

-You two just kinda stood there in silence for a few minutes enjoying eachother’s company when a new voice spoke up.

-“So when’s the wedding you two?”

-You both looked over to the far side of the room where Hajime was smoking a cigarette.

-“How long have you been watching us!?”
