Samon loves his S/O to death. He'd do anything and easily take a bullet in the head for her any day of the week and he makes sure she knows it

Ever since he had met her, he'd been head over heels in love and still can't believe he actually managed to win her heart and hand

He is extremely protective of her and has no qualms with hospitalizing anybody who dares lay a finger on her

His S/O is extremely loving too, and is constantly complimenting him about his strength and stature

To Samon you were a very sweet and kind guy to certain people but your personality would do a 180 if you didn’t like someone or if they pissed you off to an unreasonable amount.

But you were sweet like a cupcake to him.

Of course, Samon thought you were just being nice to him since he hasn’t gotten on your bad side, not yet at least.

So it was surprising when you sat him down and told him you liked him a lot.

“I know it’s weird and you’re not supposed to date anyone in work, but I just really like you..” You mumbled as you fiddled with your hands, not looking at Samon once.

“Oh..” He mumbled making you frown, ‘oh’ was never a good answer. “Well, I like you too actually. You’re really sweet and considerate and pretty fun to talk to and be around.” Samon scratched his cheek as they were tinted with a light red.

You perked up hearing this and looked over at him. “Wait really?” Samon nodded his head making your smile grow big. “I’m glad!” You chirped before standing up.

“Well, I have to get going now and check on my inmates see you later, Samon.” You kissed him on the cheek before quickly walking off leaving him stunned.

Placing a hand on his cheek, he felt a little giddy all of a sudden.

🔓 Jyugo 🔓

Jyugo isn’t quite sure how he managed to win his S/O over-- not that he’s complaining of course

One day he managed to admit to them that he had feelings for them, and for reasons he isn’t quite certain of, they were revealed to like him back

He’s just happy to have someone to love that loves him back

He can be very dense at times, so he’s not very good at picking up on his S/O’s sarcasm

His S/O might tease him about this, and also just the fact that he’s not good at anything other than breaking out of jail, much to his irritation

They’re lucky he loves them so much

Sometimes people don’t take kindly to his S/O’s sarcasm and get snappy with them, but Jyugo takes none of that BS and will gladly stand up for them

Other times when others might try and flirt with his S/O, he gets a bit irritated and subtly tries to drag them away somewhere else. “Subtly.”

He may not understand his S/O at times due to how sarcastic they can be, but he loves them dearly and would do anything for them

🎲 Uno 🎲

Whether his S/O fell for him first or he was the one to bring up the prospect of dating him, Uno is a charming and caring lover who does his utmost best to keep his S/O happy

He’s good at reading people, so he easily pick up on when his S/O is being sarcastic about anything

He’ll take up on being sarcastic right back at them just for the fun of it

He’s very protective of his S/O and does not take kindly to other inmates getting a bit too friendly with them for his liking, or just getting rude with them

Lots of playful banter, he loves to tease his S/O and see their cute reactions

Often sets up little dates for them, usually taking place in his recreation room or the arcade

Adore showering his S/O in affection, and doesn’t care about smothering them in love in front of others

So yes, there’s lots of PDA

Maybe he’ll even haul them over his shoulder out of nowehere just for the reaction and to prove his claim on them to others

🐒 Samon 🐒

Samon and his S/O first met and started dating outside of work, but eventually, his S/O started working at Nanba as well

He prefers that they keep the sarcasm to a minimum on the job, but he can’t exactly fault it

He loves them and their little sarcastic remarks anyways

Due to being busy with work, and depending on how different their work zones are, he doesn’t get to spend much time with his S/O outside of breaks or off of work

But when they do get time together on the job he always works in a kiss and affectionate comment

One time Inori tries to flirt with Samon’s S/O, although he gets threatened to be shot into the ceiling when Samon catches him.

His S/O is his own, and he’ll make sure that lazy boar or anyone else who dares hit on his beloved knows it!

Can and will beat up anyone His who hurts them in any way

Once work is over, he and his S/O can relax together and enjoy each other’s calm and contented company after a long stressful day

⭐️ Seitarou ⭐️

Seitarou met his S/O at work, and they ended up starting to date after a few months of knowing each other

Not very good at picking up on his S/O’s sarcasm, so they need to be blunt about things after the sarcasm is made if he doesn’t notice

His S/O especially has to be careful about any sarcasm that would be hinted as insulting or anything of the like as Seitarou might take it the wrong way and get upset! The poor baby

He’s doing his best to get better at picking up on his S/O’s sarcasm though, just give him time to learn

He’s a very affectionate lover, even during work hours, and always seeks out his S/O as soon as he gets a break for some much needed loving

Especially if a certain foursome had been rude to him and he needs comfort

Seriously, protect this baby boy at all costs, he deserves the world

Always exchanges a kiss and loving words any time he and his S/O pass eachother

Once work ends, a nice relaxing cuddle session is always the first thing to happen once he and his S/O reach the confines of their shared bed at home

“...oi, (y/n), wake up.” samon felt like he was being challenged. he doesn’t know by who; God, maybe? if there was a higher power, it was definitely testing him right now.

the only reason he had ventured over into your building was because he’d wanted to show you the stars. the sky was particularly clear that night, and ever since you were children, you had always loved to see the stars. in fact, it was one of the reasons that despite working in a prison in the middle of nowhere, you enjoyed your job.

however, when he’d walked into your small office, you were fast asleep on top of a rather tall stack of papers, completely knocked out. the sight hadn’t surprised him, since it was not an unknown fact that you always tended to slack off when it came to paperwork, (he hadn’t realized it had gotten this bad, but he supposes that it makes sense).

he’d gone to go wake you up and tell you, let’s take a break and go look at the stars for a bit, but when he’d gotten closer, he’d heard something that he was most definitely not supposed to hear.

“samon…” you had mumbled, freezing him in his tracks.

now, what was he supposed to do?

hearing you utter his name in such a way had gripped his heart in a certain way, and now he wasn’t sure what the hell he was supposed to do next. ignore it and walk away? wake you up and confront you? ignore it and wake you up anyway?

“gah!”

“GAH!”

it seemed the choice had been made for him.

“samon?! what’re you doing here?! why were you just standing there? you scared the hell out of me…” you exclaimed, clutching your chest to slow down your heart.

“i just came to tell you the sky looks good right now. and i was standing there ‘cause i was about to wake you up…” he’d decided to take the cool and casual route at the moment, even though you’d caught him extremely off guard. “the clouds are all gone so i figured you would want to see it.”

“oh, that actually all checks out. i was gonna call you a freak ‘cause you were watching me sleep, haha.” you laughed, standing up from your chair and stretching. “there’s no way i’m gonna be able to submit all this paperwork to warden hyakushiki by tomorrow, so i might as well! let’s go!” as you looped your arm around samon’s and started walking to the balcony, his thoughts began to go wild.

he’d never really spent too much time thinking about his feelings, especially towards you; he was always focusing on his work and his prisoners. although they were still prisoners and he was still a guard, he’d grown fond of them, (though he would never admit this out loud to them) and helped them with things they brought to him. his little rivalry with hajime was also included with work, and because of this diligence, he never really allowed himself to even think of something aside from it.

with you though, he found himself thinking less about work and more about normal things. normal things that a twenty-year old might think about, like having a girlfriend and doing things he enjoyed with her. he could teach her all about how to garden and the different kinds of plants and what you can do with them, and he could even train with her.

except, in these fantasies, it wasn’t a random woman. it was you.

and that was something that made him a little bit scared.

now, samon gokuu is not a man to get scared and run away easily, and though he wasn’t running away from you, he was definitely a little scared. not because you’re scary, (at all) but wholly because it was something strange and unknown, and he had no clue what indulging his feelings would be like. he supposes it wouldn’t be bad though. being with you.

your arm untangled from his as you two reached the balcony, the cool air of the night feeling refreshing. you walked up to the railing, leaning against it as you stared at the stars.

“ahh, you were right; it’s so beautiful tonight.” you said, a warm smile on your face as you looked back at him. the slight breeze in the night lifted your hair a bit, framing your face damn near perfectly.

you were beautiful.

“yeah, um…it really is.” he managed to get out, feeling a little bit too entranced by you. his supposed best friend. he almost felt guilty for whatever he was feeling, but at the same time, he wants to be able to imagine having a future with you.

as he joined you at the railing, you scooted a little closer to him, beaming up at him with such a joyful expression that it squeezed his heart just a bit, (it really just skipped a beat, he just didn’t want to say it).

he keeps a small hope in his heart that one day, maybe, these same stars would look down on you and him as lovers. for now though? he’s content just being by your side.
