“I’m wearing Vivienne Westwood top, Tripp NYC bottoms, and Nike Uptempos. Many things inspire my style and I like synthesizing pieces together that are referential to contrasting motifs— antique punk to be short.”

It took a decade of being obsessed with Pacific Rim for me to finally get around to fiddling with my own mech story. This has no relation or connection to Glitter and Guilt or Decking City. This is basically a clean slate although this story does also take place on Earth.
SO FAR-I have it in my head that the mechs are piloted by at least two people: one that's the fighter who controls the robot's movements in combat and the other who maintains and controls the robot's systems (like reading the radar, charging up certain energy gauges for their co-pilot to prepare for strong attacks, activating shields, etc).
Basically, one person is defense and the other is offense. Mech piloting very much requires both pilots to be in sync with each other so they both come out alive in kaiju confrontations.
These two are kind of the misfits that struggle in social situations. The girl is clumsy and awkward and the boy tends to shut people out and really just sticks to himself. They winded up getting shoved into a giant robot without much hope for either of them to work out well, only for them to click almost immediately.

“I am wearing a Marine Serre open back dress layered with a plaid nylon skirt I thrifted for $4! Nike x Comme de Garçons sneaker heels that are my children and a Heavn by Marc Jacobs purse. There is an art to layering that I try to master with each outfit I create and it really inspires me to step outside my comfort zone.”
