When you weren’t there to greet him when he came back home from work, he felt a little uneasy.

The uneasiness only grows when you don’t respond to his calls.

He searches for you in the living room and kitchen before heading to your shared bedroom.

And he finally finds you there, sitting beside the bed rather than on the bed, your knees to chest with your face buried against them.

Once he notices the soft sniffles from you, he would softly call out your name and sit beside you with one of his arms wrapped around your shoulders.

Kagami would coax you into telling him what made you cry, encouraging you to speak through your cries and sniffles.

He’ll then pull you into a hug and let you cry your heart out all while comfortingly rubbing your back and whispering words of encouragement.

Alban Knox

When he gets home from work, he finds you sitting on the floor behind the kitchen island, your face buried against your palms.

His first thought is to poke fun at you for choosing such a place to sit but when he notices the slight shaking of your shoulders and soft sniffles, he’s immediately by your side to comfort you.

Would gently pull your hands away from your face and ask you why you’re crying.

He will sit with you and listen to you telling him why you were crying.

Would ask you if there’s anything he can do to make you feel better and put aside all his works to make you feel better.

Nina Kosaka

Her first instinct is to pull you into a hug upon seeing you crying while curled up under the bedsheets.

She would ask if you’re ready to talk about it but if not, she’s willing to be there to cuddle you until you’ve calmed down.

And not long after Luca introduced you to Tazumi san, you were given an opportunity to audition and be apart of NIJI EN which you jumped at right away. When you were accepted, Luca was over the moon. He couldn't stop talking about it for days and he even helped you get a model commission and helped you write your lore.

There came a day when you organized a goose goose duck collab, wanting to do another collab with language switch ups, You invited Ike, Ver, Vezalius, Enna, Mika, Nina and Reimu and Luca wanted to tag along and watch the game in VC, you being the sucker you are, agreed to let him sit in. And of course you assigned each a language, You would be sticking with Japanese, Ike had Swedish, Ver had Korean, Zali had French, Enna had Chinese, Mika had Indonesian, Nina had Russian and Reimu was given Spanish. Since you had watched the other collab the language switch up was used in, you knew this was about to get chaotic but you were also incredibly excited. Everything was set up and stream started;

And of course, as expected, it was complete chaos. There was zero understanding between anyone. You were walking around trying to find a task before stopping, seeing Enna and Nina having some sort of stand off but not understanding a word either woman was saying.

Within a few rounds, Luca finally was able to join into the fun. The new round started, You ran past Ver being chased yelling in Korean by Ike who was yelling in Swedish but of course you didn't understand what either of them were saying. Before running into Luca who was standing over a dead Enna,

" LUCA! 殺しましたか Enna!? (LUCA! Did you kill Enna?!) " You said backing away

Hearing Luca struggle at getting a sentence out backwards was enough to cause you to snicker,

You could see your chat going nuts over the complete chaos this collab was. No one could understand each other and communication was just dead in the water. As the round went on, people were voted out and in the end, the goose ended up winning and the goose turned out to be Ver. Back in the lobby, voices rung out and everyone was finally able to understand each other, everyone was laughing. Luca walked over to you and spoke,

" BABE! I TOLD YOU IT WASN'T ME THAT KILLED ENNA! " He yelled, faking being hurt

It took a second to realize what Luca had said but when it registered, you looked back to your chat.

Your jaw hit your desk and you couldn't help but nervous laugh,

Both chats were going wild with questions and people squealing over the fact that YVT/N and Luca were a couple. It took a few seconds before the others in the collab realized what happened since you and Luca had gone silent. The rest of the collab was filled with you and Luca trying to go the rest of the collab without looking at the chats, each time you ran into another person in the collab, you could only assume they were teasing you since you couldn't understand a word being said.

The end of the collab came, everyone said their goodbyes and you said goodbye to chat, Luca ran in and hugged you apologizing for outting the relationship during the collab and of course you reassured him that it was okay.

petals fall to the ground as someone picks apart a flower and says, "they love me, they love me not." the pile of petals on the ground grew steadily with each phrase flying out from his mouth, and soon the detective ran out of stray flowers to pick apart. he huffs, deciding to close his eyes while he overthinks about the situation, a bouquet of flowers behind him, hidden from view.

'what if they don't even like me? maybe it was a mistake to call them to meet up here. should i just cancel it?' mysta thought, blowing a few stray strands of hair out of his face. however, before he could cancel, you had appeared.

"heyy mysta!" you greeted the boy, before your attention turned to the pile of petals on the ground. "jeez, do you hate those flowers or something?" you joked, sitting down infront of him and gathering the petals in your hand before throwing them up in the air for fun. a couple of them landed in your hair, while a few landed on mysta's hat. you let out a laugh, and mysta swore that he had never met anyone as precious as you.

"so, why did you ask to meet up today?" cutting to the chase, you asked the question. the question which was the real deal. mysta blushed, mouth opening and closing like a fish out of water. you patiently waited for an answer, seeing the male freak out a little.

it sounds stressful, but to you, all that is shrouded under the idea of meeting up with shu

thinking that it was good idea to consult to his friends within luxiem first, you went to vox for advice

"hello?" he calls out from the other line

you smile, "hey, vox! sorry, do you have time? i have something to talk about with you."

"oh yeah, i'm free. what's up?"

you tell him of your plans and nina's initial involvement, laying out what your basic idea of what you'd been doing

"holy shit, that's such a good idea. and i could definitely tell shu was genuinely super upset he couldn't come with us this time," he agrees. "i'm sure he'd be really happy to see you, y/n. and are you sure you're here to just cheer him up?"

you could hear the mischief in his voice then and you turn a thousand shades red at what he's insinuating

with the rest of the luxiem boys informed of the wonderful surprise (and vox's never ending teases and encouragement), they send you all their support and you're off to see the sorcerer

you'd caught wind beforehand that today shu would be streaming by the time you got to his house, so you planned to show up at the end of his stream

the entire journey there, your stomach was doing flips and you simply couldn't take off the grin on your face

after reaching land, you catch a cab real quick and make yourself over to shu's address. you check your phone and shu is indeed still streaming, nearing the end of his two hour mark.

it felt as though every step you took was lighter, your heart also beat a lot faster the closer you got

phone in hand, you text shu

from the inside of the house, you don't really hear anyone. but after a few minutes, you hear some shuffling and rushed steps towards the door

just like the fast pace of their footsteps, your heart too thumps just as rapidly

there are a few clicks sounding from the door then it swings open

you see pale skin, dark hair adorned with its trademark yellow highlight at the top of his head

and then his purple eyes

you thought they were pretty online, never thought they were mesmerizing in real life though

"y-y/n?????" is the first thing shu says, seeing who it is at the door who dare disturb him during his work. his pointy mouth drops open and for a full minute he doesn't believe what his eyes are perceiving

he shakes his head out of his trance and without much to say, he lunges forward and squeezes you with all his might

you laugh out loud and hug him back, you were about to let him go when you realize that shu isn't letting go just yet

he keeps holding you and there was not a single opening where he was going to ease the pressure of his embrace

but you weren't complaining either

it was a full few minutes before you feel shu shift, "sorry, i was just... super happy you're here. you of all people."

wh-what did he mean by that?

you giggle nervously, patting his back, "i'm glad. i thought you were so upset you couldn't join the boys for the offcollab so, here i am. actually no, nina came up with idea. i couldn't leave you to be alone, could i?"

shu pulls away and gives you a smile you've never seen on him. or was it because you had never seen him smile in real life...?

whatever it was, the look in his eyes was just so gentle. like you were touching the soft fur of an animal. it brings you warmth. and safety.

"all that matters is that you're here now. thank you for making the time to come," his hold on you lingers, like he was reluctantly letting you go (or you wished it to be). shu gestures towards the inside of his house, "come in! i'll get you a drink. your trip was probably exhausting. you can sit on the sofa."

you nod and make yourself comfortable while shu sees to your beverage done

his warm hug from earlier left a pleasant burn on you. you wanted to feel it all over again

later, shu comes in with two glasses of iced water. he places one near you and the other near where he sits.

"man, it's so, so good to see you! you're shorter in real life," he grins

you slap his arm, "oh shut up. i'm not that different."

"hmm, nah."

"shu yamino! is this how you welcome a coworker who's gone overseas for you?"

he shakes his head while laughing, "that was your choice, y/n!"

the teasing aside, you were genuinely having a lovely time with shu around, the unnecessary butterflies flapping about in your stomach. but you didn't mind it this time.

you just had to make sure you'd never feel like this around shu, for his sake. even despite vox's encouragement.

"look, i haven't set up next week's schedule yet but i kinda wanna plan our offcollabs together now. you okay with that?" the sorcerer grins, looking at you expectantly. you giggle as you nod. he smiles, "cool! so, where are you staying? a hotel?"

"yeah, it's not too far from here. actually, i should probably go check in--"

as you stood to grab your phone, shu suddenly grabs your wrist. your heart stops for the faintest second

almost as if not realizing what he had just done, he slowly lets go of your hand and looks away.

"sh-shu?" you call out

he clears his throat and offers you a courteous beam, "so-sorry! it's just that um... i thought you could just stay here in the guest room. hotels can be pricey, you know?"

you internally inhale, looking away as your ears turn red.

why did he have to be so kind?

"we-well, i can just cancel my booking then, if you don't mind me staying here."

shu shakes his head rapidly. "no, of course not! i offered after all."

way, way too kind. no, wait he's just being polite... right?

after settling in, your stuff already organized and with shu loyally by your side to make sure you have everything ready. he asked if you needed more towels, any extra chargers, toothbrushes and the like...

your heart simply couldn't take it when he continued to fuss if you had everything you needed

"shu, i'm good. i promise. i properly packed my things," you touch shu's shoulder, giving him a reassuring smile in hopes he could finally calm down

he laughs, rubbing a spot at the back of his head, embarrassed. "sorry, it's just that it's been a while since i had someone over to stay. and it's you no less."

every time he said that like you were some special vip coming to his house made you feel like one, as much as your little crush on him said.

the first night at shu's house was mostly just staying in. with shu even cooking dinner for you

you never figured he was a decent cook, mentioning once that his go-to meal was instant noodles

a/n : thank you so much dearie for requesting!! i love writing for nina, she's so sweet.

"i feel like shit, nina." you cough out, laying down on your bed with a damp towel on your forehead. nina looks at you and gives you a deadpanned look. "i told you, running around the street shouting the lyrics of all too well 10-minute version, pretending you're in a music video, is a bad idea honey," she scolds.

"although it was quite amusing seeing you in your feels like that, i don't really want to take care of children who don't listen to grown adults," she adds, grabbing the thermometer from your armpit. it beeps loudly, showing bright 39.1 C showing on its small display. nina clicks her tongue, showing it to you. you look back at her with an apologetic smile, she places the thermometer on your bedside table.

"i'm also an adult. what do you mean by children??" you mumble out, opting to stare at your fingers on your lap.

she looks at you and then turns around grabbing the water near your bed, "you're 5'2. you're technically still a child." then she turns to her right, where your pills were, looking at each bottle to see which one was the paracetamol.

finally finding where the paracetamol was, she popped one pill off and gave it to you as well as the water.

you look at her, disgust evident on your face.

nina has long known about your distaste or in strong words, hatred (also is considered as fear) for medicine. you went to extreme lengths to stay healthy as possible, even having regular medical check-ups even if it was a bit expensive for you.

she knows why you hate them and she knows how hard it is to get over your fears. "this medicine tastes awful, but it will help, i promise." she assures you, giving you an encouraging smile.

seeing nina be so... momlike was giving you courage, it was just one pill, nothing will hurt, right?

you chose to believe nina's words, gathering the courage to put the pill in your mouth and drinking water to water it down. you closed your eyes in distaste, swallowing the pill and water.

"you did it! great job honey, i'm so proud of you." nina cheers, and when you look at her you feel a sense of home that nina often gave you.

"thank you nina, for taking care of me. i'm sorry for not listening to you." nina walked toward you and gave you a big hug, "it's okay honey, i'll always be here to take care of you when you make stupid decisions." she mutters in your hair, letting out a giggle, you pout through the hug muttering out, "it's not stupid..."

Let’s say they reached a certain amount of subscribers on their youtube channel. Instead of being your usual tsundere self, you have accidentally said “Congratulations!! I’m so proud of you!” out loud.

Out of everyone, she’s a real menace.

As soon as she realizes what you said, she’s teasing the heck out of you.

She laughs and teases you so much that you’re pretty much traumatized and make a note to never say such a thing to her ever again.

But she never really goes too far with her teasing and would stop to apologize before you get really mad.

She would encourage you to be more affectionate again in the future but would you bravely do so after she literally laughed in your face?

Nina Kosaka

She would go all “awww” with puppy eyes.

Would ask you in a baby voice to repeat what you just said as if you’re a baby.

Sorry but she’s not leaving you alone until you repeat your words because hearing it once isn’t enough for her.

But if you’re genuinely uncomfortable then she wouldn’t pester you anymore.

You can catch her randomly smiling for the rest of the day while reminiscing what you said earlier.

Kaida Haru

You’re the one who said something like that out of the blue so how come he’s the one even more embarrassed than you?

He wouldn’t tease you about it immediately, but would comment something about this after a few days.

Both of you could just be eating and he’ll randomly go like

“do you remember that one time you said–” stuffs food in his mouth.

Note: that won’t stop him. Not today, not tomorrow, not ever.

Kenmochi Toya

He would act as if he’s weirded out by it, but truthfully, he’s internally simping.

“Did you just say that?” “Where’s my real (your name)?” “That is disgusting.”

Don’t take his words to heart tho, because obviously, he’s just joking.

Similar to Kaida, he will bring it up in the future because he loves to see you suffering from your embarrassing moments.

Silently hopes that this would happen again sometime in the future.
