ok but like can you imagine the sibling dynamics between aaron, miriam, and moses? ok like aaron and miriam grew up together. despite being the middle child miriam definitely has eldest daughter syndrome. aaron is just like. a guy. he just wants to be a normal guy. but he's also a big brother and that means believing your little brother when he's like "dude gd's gonna part the red sea trust me." and then you have moses, the youngest, raised in a palace, and gd's specialist little guy. the youngest sibling and gd's latest chosen one?? no wonder dude was kind of a brat and kicked that rock, it's a combination made in hell-- wait. anyways you have an introvert, an overtaxed girlboss, and a prophet with self-esteem issues. fascinating fuckin stuff, you could make a tv show out of this.

Last week they killed a protestor in Atlanta trying to protect the forest from being turned into another site where they train cops to kill us. There were so many mass shootings this week that I can’t remember them all. More people have died in mass shootings this year than there have been days of the year, and that line doesn’t even hit me anymore. Texas prosecutors are investigating a teenager for a miscarriage, and the Alabama AG is trying to walk back earlier comments saying they’d use the state’s chemical endangerment law to prosecute people for self-managed medical abortions. 30,000 people were hospitalized this week with a virus the country is determined to pretend is over. Aren’t you tired? The Supreme Court is about to overturn affirmative action and make it easier to do racial gerrymandering and get rid of the Indian Child Welfare Act and make it so businesses can discriminate against gay people. Aren’t you tired of being scared of what the conservatives would do if they thought they could get away with it—the fetal personhood bans and the contraception bans and the criminalizations of trans & queer people and the attacks on the unhoused and all the other monsters under the bed that get realer every day? Aren’t you tired of being scared for your life, if you’re Black or Asian or trans or queer or disabled? Aren’t you just so tired some days?

Update: so Chapter 13 is at 5k. I wanted to add more but because I haven’t been updated in almost two months, maybe I should post it like that. I will say if you had read the sneak peak. I haven’t add that part in Chapter 13, it was an idea that I liked and wrote it so I could have it ready than add it to Cha. 13, but maybe I’ll add it to Chapter 14. What do you guys think?

i know it's so immature but i've been following this german influencer for a while and she has gotten into the swiftieverse recently and posts daily updates about ttpd and stuff...and keeps discovering more swiftie lore and sharing it with her community. i love that on one side bc she also posts people replying that they are now interested in taylor and didn't know that she does this kind of work surrounding her albums. and it feels like people's eyes are being opened – especially here in germany it's been different than in the us. but like...i was ridiculed for my swiftieness at school, people rolled their eyes at me when i tried to explain to them what kind of passion and intelligence and planning went into taylor's album and their releases. and now? it's cool and OMG TAYLOR IS AWESOME. and she replied to my message being nice and saying "see the positive side that more people appreciate her now." and I do, I really do......but my inner teen is just angry that she was bullied and those people are now going to the eras tour. like?? it just feels a bit...unfair?! idk.

the idea of public restrooms as "women's spaces" continues to confound me. you know who I hope is in a public bathroom when I go in?? no one. I would prefer no one else be in the bathroom. and if someone else is in the bathroom I am going to ignore them as much as possible. I did not go into the bathroom to connect with other women. I went into the bathroom to piss and/or shit. it's a toilet's space, not a women's space. shut the fuck up and let trans people piss and shit in peace. let's all continue to avoid eye contact with each other and any and all interaction in the toilet's space.

God I am begging y’all to stop blaming southerners for our own oppression. Like. Every goddamn tweet from a news org saying “abortion ban reinstated by state Supreme Court” or “anti-trans bill signed into law by governor” in a red state has some freak in the comments going “I have no sympathy because people in this state voted red.”

Ok??? Did everyone in that state vote red? 100% voter turnout, all for Republicans? Oh and the kids, they voted too? And people who can’t vote—because of felony records or immigration status—somehow they voted red? What about all the people who, just a few months ago, the newspaper was reporting couldn’t vote because their votes were being suppressed? Their absentee ballots never made it to them, the lines were so long they turned around and went back to work because they can’t get fired, their registration was rejected, the polling location was too far away? All of them *would* have voted red, actually?

We are in these states, fighting like hell. We are in these states writing good legislation and talking to community members & legislators to get it to pass. We are in these states working on litigation & appeals. We are in these states testifying in the legislature and in courthouses. We are in these states protesting. We are in these states living our everyday lives, getting pregnant and having abortions and having families, loving our partners and flying pride flags and BLM flags and dealing with things northerners in safe little bubbles cannot imagine.

And then when you push back on these commenters, they say “but this is the state that elected XYZ. Any other state! This is the state that voted for ABC. Any other state!” And then they make the same comments about another state tomorrow.
