Lady Serenei of Lys, also called Sweet Serenei, was the ninth and last mistress of Aegon IV Targaryen. There was one child of their union, Shiera Seastar, the last of the king's Great Bastards. Serenei was considered by many to be the most lovely of Aegon's mistresses. She was cold and haughty towards others at court.

Lady Serenei was the last daughter from an ancient but impoverished Valyrian noble family of Lys. She was brought to King's Landing by Lord Jon Hightower, the new Hand of the King. Rumors spread that Serenei was much older than the king, practicing dark arts to retain her youth and beauty. She died giving birth to the last of the king’s bastard children, a girl called Shiera Seastar.

Lady Falena Stokeworth was a noblewoman of House Stokeworth during the reign of King Aegon III Targaryen.

Falena became the first mistress of Prince Aegon Targaryen, making him "a man" when the prince was fourteen. When a knight of the Kingsguard found them abed together in 151 AC, Aegon's father, Prince Viserys Targaryen, wed Falena to the master-at-arms at the Red Keep, Ser Lucas Lothston, and persuaded King Aegon III Targaryen to name Lucas as the Lord of Harrenhal in order to remove Falena from court. However, over the next two years, Aegon paid frequent visits to Harrenhal. Falena returned to court at King's Landing when King Aegon IV Targaryen named her husband as his Hand of the King. Falena brought her daughter, Lady Jeyne Lothston, with her. Jeyne became Aegon's eighth mistress, and it was rumored that Falena and her daughter Jeyne shared King Aegon IV's bed together.
