Because I'm suddenly in my tyzvoye feelings again (@hyrohkaah [affectionate blame]), I cannot resist using this one on them, hehehe.

Tyr enjoys when they share information, and Izvoye sees the world in a way that's extremely colorful, but... softly - to him. Its... similar and different to his own experience as an intelligence operative in that the whole galaxy is a jigsaw puzzle, and they find that they both have a passion for learning, for the experience of that journey. One of the first things they bond extensively over is actually stargazing on Rishi together.

At the time, Tyr is more familiar with them as a navigational tool, but he admires them as... almost like a sense of place. There's a steadiness and quiet to watching stars and mapping shapes in the night sky he's hard pressed to find anywhere else. Izvoye brings to the equation an extensive knowledge of constellation names, histories, and meanings.

And such exchanges ultimately become a part of their relationship; Tyr will happily listen to her for hours, usually trying to learn as much as he can from her. Though its sometimes difficult to not get distracted on the warm timbre of her voice and the passionate light in her eyes.

[The truth, of course, is that he finds much of her quite sweet.]

And I suppose, as a general extension of that, Tyr... does like to learn and to connect. It's often mired in duplicitous purposes in his career as an intelligence operative, but nearly two decades and counting in those sort of spheres haven't quite managed to completely snuff out the idealistic heart that's at his core, whether anyone likes it or not. In a career where trust is so difficult, it's valuable, so passions earned and freely given or shared... They mean a lot. He'd do a lot to protect them for the people he counts among the few to hold his trust.

mkay, latest I am obsessed with is (1) my dark urge x lae'zel from bg3. I'm flirting dangerously with the idea of relapsing into another playthrough of Dragon Age: Inquisition, so my first and beloved romance from that game is the (2) Inquisitor x Cassandra. And aauhmm if I may be particularly self-indulgent, (3) most of the oc dynamics between my blorbos and blorbos from friend's brain @hyrohkaah live rent-free in my skull constantly, but special mentions to Izvoye x Tyr for taking us out at the knees (again) lately, our constant Hyroh x Tyr shenanigans, Rhyst & Caolan blorbos of all time 2 me, and auhhh Taizi x Alucren.

So that's more than three, technically, but shhhh.

aauuhh, admittedly, nothing particularly consistently, since it is yet another spring semester in college. The closest I think you could count is uhhh the occasional build guide and mission guides for bg3, lol. (I've been needing my hand held for my uhhh paladin and ranger builds, if there's somehow further curiosity. And there are... a lot of things to do in act iii and I'm just. I'm just the littlest gal.)

knflkasnfk you and me both, yOU AND ME BOTH. the fact that it's november is quite frankly incredibly fake, but okay, i guess. xD

DAY - What does your OC wear on a normal day? Why do they default to those clothes? Do they wear similar things, or do they change it up?

I'd say both of them tend to dress light as a baseline, but for... partially different reasons. Ahdrasteia's strengths lie mostly in her implants and technical skills; she's not really built to be a stand-out field operative; her skill set prefers to stay out of direct confrontation, so she's generally wearing minimal armoring with a bit of priority for rooms for gadgets and tools linked to her cybernetics. If she's not (possibly uncomfortably) trying to adapt to a particular cover scenario, she's often in uniform of some kind and generally consistent. She has absolutely prioritized function at the cost of comfort.

Tyr on the other hand dresses lighter for the sake of comfort and range of movement. Kind of going back to the answers for outerwear + him on this one, but he does like to dress in light layers. Partially because he's almost always carrying, which means he has holsters to generally conceal from the public eye. I think part of that consistency is habit as much as functionality - but he won't quite go to the lengths about it that Ahdrasteia will. It's gotta be comfortable just as much as functional, ready to tackle a range of scenarios on the job, and be just as adaptable off the metaphorical chrono. Man... actually tends to wear long sleeves fairly often at least when some level of working, now that I think on it. While I wouldn't exactly call him fussed with his appearance, he's conscious enough about making statements with the way you present yourself.

INFORMAL - What's your OC's lazy-day look? How do they like to dress when they're winding down?

I think when Ahdrasteia actually experiences some measure of genuine safety, she would be absolutely wild about like the fuzzy pj pants. Things that are a little oversized (and possibly stolen out of Mor's closet). In general, it's things that have a lot less to do with Purpose and a lot more to do with comfort - and being satisfying textures. Thing like flared bottom yoga pants and a t-shirt that, again, definitely totally wasn't probably Mor's. But also, like... just actual fun t-shirts. She tries something that has sequins on it once and finds out they get everywhere, which is incredibly unsatisfying. But like. shirts with rainbow tauntauns and other like. novelty tourist shop kind of shirts. That she purposely gets a little big so she can sink into them. And on a good, actual lazy day? She's not doing her makeup. (And it will be a relief, actually.)

Tyr you're more likely to find in just a plain tee if he's still roaming around in spaces where he might feasibly run into others, but also, honestly... could totally just be at peace throwing on a pair of sweats and calling it a day curled up into a couch with a datapad until someone (Theron. Hyroh. Izvoye. You know. The like.) calls him out that 'doing work out of your office still counts as work.' The only feasible downside of this is Mouse has claws... And Tyr definitely makes the mistake of letting her play with his hands which means she's a bit of a menace on the claws in general, but she's #worth it.

Been thinking about K’tasi and Hyroh confronting the Emperor on Dromund Kaas together & what their final conversation might’ve looked like. I imagine there was some resentment and confusion from K’tasi about why Hyroh refused to leave with him back on the Emperor’s Fortress, and there’s just.. so much hurt between the two of them, especially considering what they did to each other while under the Emperor’s influence, and what Hyroh has continued to do, since he stayed with the Emperor “willingly” (that’s how K’tasi sees it, and I don’t think Hyroh was totally ready to explain the reality of why he ““““chose”“““ to stay)

Originally I was under the impression that when K’tasi returned to the Council to tell them what happened, he’d tell them that Hyroh turned against the Emperor to help him, but refused to come back to the Jedi Order (which is what happened), but after thinking about it some more, I think K’tasi would lie about that second bit. I think, at the very least, he’d recognize that the Council would probably not have good intentions if they ever tracked down Hyroh, so he tells the Council that he died in the fight with the Emperor.

Which, like, yay, it means Hyroh won’t have to worry about trying to keep the Jedi Council off his back, but it also means K’tasi has to tell Izvoye right to her face that her best friend (who she last saw on Belsavis, bitter and full of anger) is dead, and she never got to say goodbye to him.

rolled izvoye as a human because i Felt Like It; time to play through the consular campaign AGAIN

the kalikori backstory wasnt really vibing with me bc there were a couple of logistical things i was just having a hard time figuring out and weird implications with the flesh raiders and i wasn’t sure what 2 do with it + none of it had a huge impact on izvoye’s character anyway, so when me and some friends decided to do a smaller, more laid back story run than the one i’d tried organizing earlier, i was like “hey! how about i make izvoye on SF?” so here she is!

the new working backstory is that she grew up with hyroh on ord mantell and le’raya trained them both for awhile until they were formally admitted into the order, and izvoye was then passed to another jedi master for training.

also yes i used tau’s set again no it’s not her canon outfit, it’s only a placeholder until i find something more permanent.

ma’am needs her beauty sleep. she doesn’t care if she’s got a council meeting at 7am, she gets up at 9am at the earliest. the council lets her get away with it because they know they’d be in deep shit if it weren’t for her. this is also why they don’t say anything about her being Married™ to her loving husband.

☆ - happy headcanon:

she has the most adorable laugh (we’re talking chortling and snorting and general giggling) and she used to be embarrassed by it, but hyroh was too funny to be around and NOT laugh, so over time she got used to it. and her friends and loved ones all agree that her life is cute af and like to make her laugh :’)

☮ - friendship headcanon:

izvoye’s the kind of friend that’ll send you random cat videos at 3am and then not message you again for like three weeks to two months. not because she’s emotionally distant or anything like that, she just kind of... forgets to talk to people lmao.

god i need to get her a hobby. i’m bad at hobbies for my ocs. uhmmmmm ... i think i mentioned baking once for izvoye. yeah. yeah she seems like she’d really like to bake stuff for her crew. her fave thing to make is cheesecake :)

hyroh doesn’t have any hobbies either besides being way too into lightsaber combat and practicing whenever he has free time, though once he was free from vitiate and on his own, he had a lot of time to rediscover himself in those years, and i really like the idea of him picking up wood carving. a wood and a knife is more readily available than say clay for sculpting (and also the clay gets in his fur and it’s a bitch to get out)

hyroh: he starts going gray at around forty, but he doesn’t realize until theron points it out to him, on account of him having lost his vision by then (& i don’t know if arcann did it or if someone else did it w/ the new timeline i’ve been working on, but he still gets blinded in combat, ANYWAY--)

he’s a little embarrassed about it at first but theron is just,,, extremely fond of it. he loves twirling the graying strands around his finger and it makes him a little emotional because he never really thought he’d get to grow old with someone.

izvoye: she repurposes her dualsaber into a cane a la darth maul in rebels. she can pull the cover off the hilt to use it as an actual lightsaber, but it’s primary function is as a mobility aid.

matel: matel learned all his funny old man humor from aesere and he absolutely carries the tradition of living in his 50s & onward like he’s still 20. will delight in embarrassing the fuck out of his padawans.
