hi!!
hotch comforting reader who's got bad cramps but at first she's too embarrassed to admit what's wrong but he can obviously tell somethings up
Hii lovely, ty for the request🤧! Hopefully, this isn't too bad, I changed it a bit🤦♀️ tw: pet names, mentions of period, mentions of soup, (0.6k)
You (regretfully) cancel your date with Aaron, telling him you are sick. Which isn't really a lie, because you can barely walk from the pain. You and Aaron have been together for a few months, but you don't want him to see how messy you look right now.
But Aaron is sometimes too much of a sweetheart, because he decides, that he'll go look after you. There's nothing for him to do at home anyway with Jack being away at Jessica's. He only makes a few stops at the shop and the pharmacy, before he is standing in front of your door.
The loud knock wakes you up from the light sleep. You think, it is the soup that you ordered some minutes ago. But to your huge surprise, it is Aaron, standing in front of you, when you open the door.
You almost close the door on him from the shock, but Aaron is quick enough to get inside your apartment.
He is smiling at you and the bouquet of your favourite flowers isn't helping you feel any better about cancelling the date, "hi honey."
"Hi," you say, it's less enthusiastic than Aaron's greeting.
"I'm sorry, I came unannounced, but I just missed you too much," it takes a lot of strength for Aaron to be so open, but he knows that you always understand. Still, there's a small blush on his cheeks.
"It's okay," you try giving your best smile, as the cramps are absolutely killing you, "I'm sorry, I cancelled the date. I just look like a literal death right now and I'm in so much pain-"
You, unfortunately, let the word 'pain' slip out and it instantly has Aaron on high alert.
"Pain? Honey, is it bad? Where does it hurt? Do we need to go to the hospital?" Aaron looks worriedly at you.
"I'm fine-"
"Fine? You just said, you were in pain-"
"Aaron, baby. I'm just....- I'm just having the most awful period cramps," you say, embarrassed. But Aaron doesn't look one bit embarrassed or disgusted, as you though he would be.
"What do you mean 'it's just the cramps'? Sweetheart, a pain is a pain. And I'm sorry, you are feeling so bad right now, come here" he tells you and reaches out for you to hug him.
You obediently do that, very eager to be held by him. And you stay in his embrace as long as you can. Sadly, your hug is interrupted by the sound of the bell.
"Who's that?" Aaron asks, his voice muffled against your cheek.
"That must be my soup," you say as you slowly pull yourself out of his hands, "I'm going to get it-"
"No, you should go lay down and I'll get it for you, yeah?" It's not really a question, because he doesn't give you a chance to respond before he walks towards the door.
You go sit down on the couch, where a pile of cushions and blankets waits for you and by the time Aaron gets back with the soup, you are hidden under it.
Aaron thinks, you look adorable right now, even if you don't think it yourself. He carefully settles next to you and offers you the soup.
You accept it with a smile and eat it sluggishly. Aaron's hand ends up on your thigh and he absent-mindlessly draws circles over your skin as he talks to you about his day.
When you finish the soup, Aaron doesn't waste a minute and pulls you back into his arms, your back against his chest, basically manhandling you into lap.
"Feeling better?"
"A little yeah," you mumble.
"What can I do to help, honey?" he asks, voice all soft.
"Nothing, handsome. I'm feeling much better just having you here."
"I'm glad, because I'm not going anywhere." He assures you and gives you a kiss on the side of your head.
You end up staying in that same position for the whole night, watching movie after movie. Your sad, painful day turning into a nice movie night with your Aaron.

Day 9
warnings: some make-out scenes because we y/n deserves them 🤧
word count: 2.4k
The next morning you were all assembled in the hallway, eyes focused on Jake and the little bag next to him. None of you ready to say goodbye yet.
"I'm really gonna miss you guys," Jake mumbled, refusing to look any of you in the eyes. "You all have my number now, right? I'd love to stay in contact."
"Of course, you're not getting rid of us this easily. I expect daily updates from your show when you start filming!"
Jake smiled back at you when he finally looked up, even though there were tears glistening in his eyes. "You'll get a new update every minute."
"I'm looking forward to it." You couldn't help but tear up too, trapping Jake in a big hug. "I'm really going to miss you."
"I'll miss you too." He could barely conceal his sniffles, especially when you let go again.
"You better take good care of y/n or I might actually return again."
Heeseung chuckled at Jakes words, pulling him in another hug.
"Not gonna lie, I think I'll miss our little fights."
"I won't," you and Sunoo spoke at the same time.
"Not sure I'm gonna miss that but surprisingly I will miss you," Jake chuckled, even though it was quickly replaced by sniffles again.
"We won't have to say goodbye because I know I'm gonna get that role."
"Not because you hate goodbyes?"
"Maybe…" Sunoo mumbled. "Oh, come here."
And with that he also pulled Jake into a tight embrace, now both of them sniffling. Well, all of you, really.
"If I won't get the role I will continue to audition until I get to play with you. You really won't get rid of me."
"I'm looking forward to it."
After giving every one of you another hug Jake really said goodbye, now not able to stop his tears anymore. Before he closed the door, he turned around towards you one last time, mouthing a quiet 'it's okay'. And then he was gone.
"I already miss him," Sunoo huffed, while he tried to discreetly swipe away his tears. "The house feels so empty."
"It does," you mumbled. All of you were still standing in the hallway, no one knowing what to do now.
"So, what did you usually do before Jake arrived?" Sunoo looked at you and Heeseung, his eyes silently begging for you to come up with something to distract all of you.
"Fighting," you grinned, one eyebrow raised at him. "I don't really want to repeat that."
"No…" Sunoos shoulders hang down, his lips in a small pout. "I think I'm gonna leave you two alone, I'll find something to do."
One quick look at Heeseung and you both agreed that you would not let Sunoo be alone today. Not when he really looked upset.
"What if we go out today? Not to party, just out for dinner or something? Sunghoon and the others won't come back until late evening, and I think it would be good to get out of the house."
"Are you sure I wouldn't just be third wheeling?"
"You could never be a third wheel, Sunoo. We're going as a group, not on a date."
"Okay… I like that idea."
"Then it's settled!" You smiled. "Let's meet back here in 20 minutes, okay?"
"20?" Sunoo almost screeched, before he started to run. "Give me 30!"
▪︎▪︎▪︎
"How are you holding up?"
You turned around to look at Heeseung, whose eyes were resting on you.
"I'm okay, I think. Of course it's sad that Jake left but we'll still talk to each other, and I think he feels much better with this decision."
Heeseung nodded. "I- can I be honest?"
"Of course!"
"I really like Jake, he's a great guy. But I'm also kinda glad that he left? It would have killed me if I had to see you two kissing all the time if he got the role."
You hummed, sitting down on the bed in your room. "I get that. But you do realize that this might happen more often from now on? I do plan to continue acting."
"No, I know." He sat down next to you, his hands grabbing for one of yours. "I promise to not be such an idiot again. It's just- I think I wouldn't mind if it was just anyone who you had to kiss for a show. But I knew that Jake had feelings for you, and that's what made it so hard for me to watch. Especially because I behaved like an idiot towards you too and I wasn't sure who you would choose. But now I do."
"You could have known back then too if you weren't so busy being jealous," you smiled, squeezing his hands. "But I'm glad to hear that."
"I'm sorry I was such an idiot," Heeseung mumbled, one of his hands placed on your cheek, his thumb drawing soft circles. "I promise it won't happen again."
Instead of an answer you just leaned forward, your eyes fluttering shut when your lips connected. You had kissed so many times by now, but it still felt special every time. And new, the way your lips touched, the way his hand was placed somewhere on or near your cheek.
You fell backwards as the kiss got deeper, more heated, one of your hands now tangled in his hair to pull him closer. Heeseung was leaning over you, his hands running up and down your body, not sure where to settle, while his lips were moving against yours, causing quiet gasps to come from you both.
"Okay I'm rea- wow."
You froze, your eyes jumping towards Sunoo who stood in your doorway, the handle still in his hand, eyes and mouth ripped open.
"I'll wait downstairs," he managed to speak after a while of all three of you just staring at each other, turning around and almost throwing the door shut.
"That was-"
Heeseung snorted before he collapsed onto you, not able to hold his laughter anymore.
"I fear we've traumatized him."
The sound you let out was a mix between a laugh and a cry, not really knowing how to feel about this. "This is so embarrassing."
"Ah, he's going to survive," Heeseung grinned while he placed a soft kiss on your collarbone. "But we should get going now."
He stood up, one hand outstretched to pull you with him. When you stumbled against him you hooked your hands behind his back, unable to resist giving him another kiss.
"We can continue this when Sunoo's not around."
"Oh? I would love to."
▪︎▪︎▪︎
Sunoo avoided looking at you or Heeseung until you arrived at a small restaurant and sat down at a table.
"Sunoo, we're-"
"It's okay." His voice was an octave higher than usual, his face a dark red. "I don't understand why you did it when you knew we were supposed to meet up… but it's okay."
Heeseung let out a failed attempt of a suppressed laugh, which turned into a cough when your elbow hit his side.
"We're really sorry."
"Sorry enough to pay for my meal?"
Now it was your turn to chuckle. "If you want us to."
"I do. Thank you." He seemed more content now, even though his face was still slightly red. "Well, at least now we know that you're going to play a convincing couple."
"Thank you."
"You are going to pay for my meal, right?"
You nodded. "Sure, if you want us to?"
"Good. Because… I do think you're really cute together. If you're not making out in front of me."
"Well, actually we didn't ma-"
"Don't."
"Sorry."
Heeseung snorted again, the corners of his mouth twitching. It was only a matter of seconds until he would break out in laughter - and he did. All of you did, unable to stay serious any longer, at least until a waitress came to take your orders.
"Why didn't we do this before?" Sunoo wondered, eyebrows raised in confusion. "It would have been a lot of fun."
"Well, you were never there and Heeseung and I were constantly fighting, so I'm not sure it would have been fun," you grimaced.
"True. It's insane how much happened in the last few days, isn't it? How close we've gotten even though we didn't get along before."
"Don't start kissing again."
"We won't," Heeseung chuckled. "But it is insane if you think about it."
You hummed in agreement. "But I'm glad it turned out this way. Especially now that Jake seems to be okay too."
"Oh!" Sunoo looked up, eyes shining with excitement. "When all of us have finished filming we need to celebrate together."
"Oh right, when is your audition, Sunoo?"
"Tomorrow morning, actually. I'm a bit nervous, it happened really fast."
Heeseung laughed again. "Thanks to us you know enough ways on how not to do it. I'm sure you'll do amazing."
"Thank you."
▪︎▪︎▪︎
A few hours later you were all full and back assembled around the couch where Taehyun and Soobin were sitting.
"I guess it's not coming as a huge surprise that you two will continue the show. But since you have greatly improved, we are looking forward to it."
Sunghoon nodded, supporting Taehyun's words. "I hope you had some good days together, but the ten days are over tomorrow. A driver will pick you all up tomorrow afternoon to bring you back home, and filming will start in around a month. But you will get all the important information again in writing, so don't worry. For now enjoy your last day and use this for a proper goodbye. Oh, and: congratulations."
Sighs of joy and relief could be heard in the room. Heeseung looked at you, his face radiating pure happiness, before he pulled you close and gave you a quick peck on the lips. You froze, eyes searching for Sunoo who had the same surprised look on his face as you. As far as you were aware there was no rule against dating on set, but you somehow still thought that you would keep it hidden from the others - at least while you couldn't give a proper name to whatever it was that Heeseung and you had going on. It wasn't really a relationship yet, but it was already more than a fling. At least for you.
Sunghoon and Taehyun just watched all of this with a raised eyebrow, but they didn't say anything about it when you all said your thanks, or when you said your goodbyes shortly after.
"So, you two got the job. How does it feel?" Sunoo grinned at you two, eyes shining with pride.
"Very good." Heeseung smiled back, an arm slung around your waist. "I think we'll do really well."
"I think so too. We have to, after all we've been through now."
You were happy, and you were relieved. And now you really felt the stress and exhaustion from those past few days dissolve, all the fear for your job, the worry about Jake and Heeseung. You felt tears welling up in your eyes, your knees starting to shake. It only caught up with you now how much actually happened in the last few days.
You got out of Heeseungs embrace, turning away from the two boys to push back your tears. This was a happy moment and you refused to cry now.
"Y/n?"
"I'm okay! I'm just-"
"It's okay," Sunoo mumbled, one hand rubbing soothing circles on your back. "You've been through a lot. But it's over now."
"You did great, y/n. You deserve this role so much."
You just shook your head at Heeseungs words, now really unable to stop the sobs. You really did it. You got your first role - and a big one too. Sunoo trapped you in a big hug while Heeseung did the same from the back, all three of you just standing there for a few minutes until your crying had died down and you took a deep breath.
"I'm really glad I met you guys."
"I agree, but no more crying! Today is a happy day."
"Okay, Sunoo," you smiled, Heeseungs hand slowly wiping away the remaining tears on your cheek before he gave you another peck on it.
▪︎▪︎▪︎
You settled for another movie night, managing two whole movies before Sunoo said goodbye with a yawn.
"I need to be awake tomorrow - and I think you two might enjoy some privacy during your last night together." He was winking at you but grimaced only seconds later. "Just be quiet, please."
You cracked up with laughter, hiding your red face behind Heeseungs back.
"We'll do our best." Heeseungs grin was clearly visible in his voice, as well as in the slight tremble of his back. He was trying hard to hold back a laughing fit.
"Sure… goodnight, you two."
"Goodnight!" You shouted after him, unable to hold any laughter when Sunoo almost ran out of the room.
You leaned your head against Heeseungs shoulder. "Maybe we really did traumatize him."
"If a little kissing is traumatizing him, he shouldn't join the film business."
You chuckled again, your face pressed against his neck. "You're probably right."
Heeseungs face turned serious, looking at you deep in thought. His hand was pushing some loose hair behind your ear, fingers moving down your cheek towards your chin, before he slowly lifted it up. The kiss he gave you was so incredibly soft, his lips barely touching you - until you almost chased after him, your hand now in his hair pulling him closer, deepening the kiss. He grinned, before he opened his lips, now chasing after you. There was no hesitation when you swung one leg over his, straddling him under you, the force of the next kiss forcing his head backwards. It was the heat of the moment, his hands on your hips, yours in his hair and on his cheek, the room filled with silent panting in between kisses, until Heeseung broke apart, looking at you with pupils so big they almost filled his eyes.
"I don't think we should continue this on the couch."
"Scared that Sunoo might see us again?" You grinned, your hand wandering along his chin and down his throat. When you reached his Adam's apple he had to swallow, eyes focused on you almost like he'd been hypnotized. He just stared for a minute, before he blinked a few times to get back to reality.
"Yes, actually. He won't let us live in peace when he finds us making out again."
"I guess that's true." Your fingers were now moving towards his lips, tracing the shape. Now it was you who was almost in a trance, a deep breath necessary to get you back. "Let's go upstairs then."
