Noah is canonically the youngest of eight sibling. Eight.

You don't grow up in a family that large, as the youngest and therefore the favourite victim, and not have a super casual relationship with touch.

This guy is light enough to be literally blown away by a strong breeze; if you think even for a second that his family didn't take turns carrying him around like a briefcase and abducting him from whatever he was doing into a Family Pile™ then you're objectively wrong.

(You also can't convince me that he wasn't spoiled rotten as the baby of the family.)

So frequent platonic touching is pretty normal for him, expected even, and he tends to be more tactile than his personality or demeanour would suggest.

He gives Owen side-hugs and pats on the arm every time the two interact, and wilfully flops himself onto Eva whenever he's overwhelmed and wants the company of someone comparatively quiet (she always uses it as an excuse to carry him to the gym and encourage him to bulk up, though it never works). He tries to tire out Izzy's boundless energy by play-fighting and grappling with her (much to his chagrin) despite him essentially ending up as her glorified chew toy, and often times passes out due to being a stick insect in human form.

It's unexpected, just how casually clingy he is to the people he trusts/likes.

But you know who isn't used to physical contact?

This wet noodle of a boy bigs himself up as a ladies' man and a hot commodity but wouldn't know what to do with himself if someone held his hand. The concept of affection of any kind is so foreign to him, especially positive physical contact- I wouldn't be surprised if he could count the amount of hugs his parents had given him on one hand.

And this is backed by his canonical desperation for acknowledgement! Every time he pursues Gwen, even when he's directly shot down and sometimes harshly rejected, he still tries to win her affections and festers the delusion that she likes him. After all, everyone who's supposed to care about him does the same! His parents, 'friends' or lack thereof, ect.; they all ignore/rebuff him so it must be a sign of endearment.

Additionally, he sleeps with a stuffed emu at the ripe age of 16/17- as stated by Sierra, which he never denies (not that there's anything wrong with that, stuffed animals are top tier imho). You know who else sleeps with stuffed animals? Touch-starved people.

Cody is incredibly attention-starved, touch-starved and, post World Tour, in all likelihood somewhat touch-averse- at least when it comes to other people initiating contact.

To elaborate; Sierra is constantly breaching his personal bubble non-consensually, which would inadvertently condition anyone into being at least a little haphephobic, but Cody himself is more than happy to instigate contact with people he trusts (i.e. hugging Alejandro when he protects Cody from Sierra overnight in Rapa Phooey!).

...See where I'm going with this?

We see these two cuddling twice in canon; once in the Awake-a-thon and again in the Celebrity Manhunt. Once is happenstance, but twice indicates a pattern or coincidence but I'm going to gloss over that for the sake of this post.

Plus, with their consistent proximity during Action, they had plenty of time to form some type of relationship be it friendly or more.

(Wouldn't you want to at the very least get some closure from the guy who kissed you/you kissed for the world to see? It would be awkward to completely ignore each other, and they literally shared a cabin at one point so it's not like they were strangers either. So of course they're at least cordial from Action onwards.)

Then, as Noah becomes more comfortable around Cody, his tactile tendancies come to play.

Cody, predictably, reacts skittishly at the alien phenomenon known as friendly touch and tries to play it off to preserve his cool-guy image. Except Noah's not falling for it. He's observant, if emotionally illiterate, and watching the guy you just backpatted in greeting jump five feet into the air and screech like a falcon is a flashing red alarm for even the most empathetically challenged people.

Eventually, Noah gets Cody to divulge his issues with human contact and offers his assistance to the brunette. If giving his pal a hug every now and then, and letting him in turn initiate whatever he's comfortable with, would help him overcome his rocky relationship with touch then Noah is more than happy to oblige. It's not like it's out of the norm for him, so he doesn't mind at all.

Then, gradually, Cody loses his touch aversion.

But a lifetime of isolation won't be magically cured that easily, and he finds himself craving Noah's embrace more and more. Again, the taller of the two is content to give him what he wants. Their agreement evolves into the duo napping together and feeding into Noah's sleep-hugging habit, or just spending quality time in a heap of pretzeled limbs under a weighted blanket.

(Whether their relationship is platonic or romantic is entirely up to interpretation, though I'm partial to the two being friends who are just Like That since it allows for the funniest potential character interactions. The bromance is real.)

That's as good a place as any to end the post, before I end up writing a whole drabble.

I usually would create a little ficlet to answer this kind of ask, but I have many OCs, so there would be many different responses. And my brain is fried lately... So I hope it's okay to just share some headcanons.

I can absolutely affirm to you Daphne (D&D MC AU) would never send a wrong pic to anyone. Ever. Because of her past issues with revenge porn and cyberbullying, she's extra careful and double checks her messages and the sender at all times.

Evelyn (OPH MC) probably is the one who has more trouble with sending wrong messages. Specially when she's tired or sleep deprived. But it wouldn't be something serious. Most likely, she'd just send silly memes in the work group chat. Also Rafael gets a lot of pics of medications or prescriptions Evelyn was supposed to send to a patient or a friend who asked for help in the middle of the night 😂

Natasha (PM MC), Samantha (BB MC), Jade (TRR MC) and Ayla (MOTY MC) are the ones who like sending nudes and mostly send them to the wrong people. Natasha would just apologize and make a joke in case it happens. Though it'd be a scandal to send a nude on the Bernhardt Academy parents group chat, Ayla would know how to get out of trouble with ease and even earn a few fans in the process 🤣🤣🤣

Samantha would have a lot of trouble in this department, given her history of a love triangle including her boss and her now boyfriend. But the one who would be in serious trouble would be Jade. She's a politician, Cordonian are prudes, you get the idea... 😑 She would find a way to get out this kind of mess eventually, but it certainly wouldn't be easy.

i’m suddenly in love with the whole ‘(ophe)lia is a pirate’ thing in ncaa because i saw this comment talking about the irony of lia being a pirate considering ophelia and water didn’t go very well together and just. yes. it is my newest personal headcanon that in an au of ncaa lia is an acc pirate and she’s the pirate who kidnaps hamlet. this makes no sense and was very rambly but i find it Cool.

i really do love ophelia so much, and i'm not kidding when i say hamlet is one of my favorite stories *just* because of her. i have to include some little references. they make my soul happy. and i think this is the first one anyone has noticed (or, the first they've pointed out, LOL).

i was really just trying to find a reason to write lia wearing one of those long, flowy, renaissance-esque costumes. i wanted a situation where she'd be dressed almost like ophelia, just for a fun little irony moment, but i was looking at those dresses on amazon (because i'm #committed) and i realized pirates + water... that's much funnier and much less direct. and she can still wear one of the fancy dresses!

and, like... lia would definitely kidnap hamlet. just saying. there is a character in her backstory who is meant to be sort of like him and she would for sure kidnap him, if it was safe or legal. just to scare him, no other reason.

but yeah! her entire name is very thought out, too. she's very Complex™️

I take your headcanons about OPH and raise you: Bryce absolutely cannot take a bad photo. He is Barney Stinson a la himym and that one episode where they try to catch him with a bad picture. Jackie is constantly teased for the accent by the group. And finally, there’s a world where sienna had 3 boyfriends at once and they didn’t know about each other, but there’s also a world where she had 3 boyfriends at once but didn’t know it and thought they were just all being nice

More Ophelia Headcanons

Has a bunch of small / tiny scars across their fingers and arms from work / invention related experiments accidents

In Genshin, their birth father was not from Fontaine (most likely Sumeru or Mondstadt)

In HSR, their birth father was from Boulder Town (he met Ophelia's mother probably right before the Underworld was locked off)

In both verses he's probably already passed away (or maybe not cause Ophe definitely needs more father issues fjskfjsk)

Their inventions and gadgets usually have some sort of floral motif / element to them in their designs

Their ability to create shields in HSR comes from a gadget they made in order to explore outside of Belebog (in search of scrap materials)

In both verses, they rent their workshop out and turned it into their home that way they wouldn't have to live with their (well off) parents anymore

In HSR, Leon is still arrested though the case is a bit different (still figuring out the details, but it still did involve Ophelia while Ophelia had no idea of his plan / isn't complicated with his crime at all)

noah is only good at flirting when it's low-stakes.

if he's not taking it seriously (or joking)? that man becomes the rizzard of oz, whipping out some choice one-liners (using his vast library of romance novels and the wisdom of his 8 older sisters as guidance).

if he's actually trying to flirt with someone he's interested in? it's a tradgedy. devastating to watch. the guy can't even form proper sentences, let alone be charming. he becomes a stammering mess until his face overheats and he soft-reboots from the stress.

The Ramsey Family

Get to know more about the Ramsey family:

Before getting married, Ethan and Marchia talked about the possibilities of having children.

Both of them made it abundantly clear that they want to have kids.

And so they first started trying after six month-ish of getting married.

Their first daughter, Liliana Adhisti Ramsey, was born on 12th October 2024.

Her little sister, Adeline Dolores Ramsey, was born on 27th May 2028.

Ethan always call their children with their full name (not their nickname).

Meanwhile, Marchia likes to call Liliana with ‘Kak’ (meaning older brother or sister in Indonesian) and Adeline with ‘Adek’ (meaning younger brother or sister in Indonesian).

Liliana’s middle name, Adhisti, was taken from Marchia’s late grandmother, who passed away when she was 20 years old.

Ethan and Marchia also decided to honor and remember Dolores by giving her name as Adeline’s middle name.

Technically, they have three fur babies. But because Jenner had stayed with Alan for so long, they decided that it would be best to let him stay in Providence with him.

Both Reese and Bubbles are stray kittens that was found by Marchia!

Ethan lost the ability to say ‘no’ to their daughters, so Marchia had to step up and take the disciplinarian role in their house. Naturally, she would also fail at that role from time to time. 

Physically, Liliana inherited Ethan’s blue eyes. Also, her hair is darker than her little sister.

Meanwhile, Adeline got Marchia’s light blonde hair, yet with darker green eyes.

Whenever Ethan and Marchia are busy with their work, Liliana was always there to accompany Adeline.

Liliana and Adeline absolutely love their grandparents. Opa (grandpa) Andrew spoils them way too much.

She finds it too flowery but she doesn’t hate it. Though I headcanon her partners love it and feel it suits her perfectly.

She loves Cal’s protective nature and devotion and she loves Vera’s gentle nature and determination.

Gabriel (CoP):

Never. They need to get to know someone before they would ever fall in love and even then they would be loathed to admit it first. I headcanon that Trystan is only the second person they ever truly loved.

Gabe by Ruby. Luke tries it out and they both hate how it sounds coming from him so he never uses it again. Trystan has all manner of pet names for Gabriel but Gabriel is particularly found of darling and love.

Merida (OPH):

All my OCs/MCs like pineapple on their pizza. It is afterall, the superior pizza topping. Merida is particularly partial to grilled pineapple, thinly shaved ham, caramelized onions and on her pizzas.

Ethan’s about to speak when he sees a scrawny blonde male walk over to the table. 

“Um, Hi Dr. Ramsey, I don’t know if you remember me, but -” 

“I don’t.”

Landry looks disappointed but not surprised. “Right, I was an intern at Edenbrook. Anyway, I just wanted to say, your new book is fantastic. Even better than the first.”

Gen pipes up from her seat, “That’s what I told you.” 

It’s then that Landry realizes who Ethan is sitting with. 

“Is there something you need? I was enjoying a nice lunch with my wife and child.” 

Landry looks quickly between Ethan, Gen and Lizzie, seeing the wedding band on Ethan’s hand, Gen’s engagement ring, and Lizzie holding onto Ethan’s other hand

Landry looks straight at Gen, anger in his words. “You two are married?”

“Yes.” She answers plainly. 

“And have a child?”

“Yes.”

“You always claimed he didn’t favor you, but clearly he did if -” 

“Wait, you’re Dr. Olsen?” Ethan sits up straighter, eyes laser focused on Landry. “The intern that tried to ruin Gen’s career? 

“That's not what happened! She - “

Ethan holds up a hand, his voice dropping like it does when he chastises an intern. “I’m going to stop you there, because if the next thing out of your mouth is an insult towards my wife, you’ll walk out of here with a black eye.”

Landry looks quickly between Gen and Ethan, before settling on Gen. “You lied.”

“Alright, that’s enough.” 

Gen places her hand in Ethan’s, he immediately settles but still looks angry. 

She keeps her voice calm, almost unfazed. “I never lied, Landry. Ethan never gave me special treatment, there was never favoritism. I told you back then but I’ll say it again. You not being number one, or getting the recognition you thought you deserved had nothing to do with my relationship with my husband but everything to do with you. So unless your next works are ‘I’m glad you found love and happiness, Gen, and I’m sorry for what I did to you.’ I’d appreciate it if you walked away.” 

“You still don’t see anything wrong with this.” 

“Wrong sentence, please leave.”

Landry’s voice begins to rise, “You manipulated a great man.” 

Ethan stands up, ready to throw a punch when Gen holds his arm to hold him back. 

“Not in front of Lizzie, he’s not worth it.” 

“I won’t have him stand here and insult you.” 

Gen takes a deep breath, looking at Landry again. “Leave.” 

Landry looks as if he wants to say more, but scurries away when he sees Ethan staring at him with rage. He walks away in a huff.

can you imagine Bryce messing up his wedding vows cause he's too excited AND nervous on their wedding and Keiki will DEFINITELY roast him on her speech 😂

LOL Keiki will have a blast seeing her always confident brother in that nervous state and she will roast him for sure 😌

But i just know that Bryce will come up with smth on the spot (once he's past the nervousness) to make up for messing his vows, and it will actually end up being a lot better than whatever he rehearsed before 💖
