Oh absolutely, Optimus definitely used those needles for lockpicking (anything except mnemosurgery).

Megatron grabbing Optimus and the bot just goes feral, biting and scratching. Apparently the hate-boner for Megatron that Overlord has is generational (though more boner than genuine hate in Optimus' case ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). He doesn't actually do too much damage because Megan's armor is tough but he's still caught off guard by this tiny Autobot having claws. Once he recognizes the needles on his fingers, he promptly drops Optimus cause he ain't fuckin' with that shit! He's already had to deal with shadowplay before.

(If Megop does happen, Overpan would give the shovel talk of the century. Thankfully because Optimus was raised by loving parents in a healthy relationship he knows how to treat a bot, he would absolutely be able to woo Megs - if a little awkwardly, this poor bot is the definition of social anxiety. He'd probably seduce him completely by accident XD. They'd be a fierce power couple that would make Overpan proud and the Council(derogatory) tremble.)

I'm just imagining Optimus sneaking snacks in the middle of the night

Sggsdh oh we're going for megop fuck yes that's gotta cause emotions for overlord and trepan with the age gap n all (imo optimus is a grown ass adult and can make his own decisions) (which can include a Complicated dynamic with Megatron)

I wonder if Megatron is now wondering if Optimus is a fledgling mnemosurgeon or if he came to the conclusion that he was born with them instead (he'll learn)

Optimus was raised right, and I'm absolutely loving the idea of him seducing Megatron by accident (same as how he gained his respect as a lovely adversary) (Megatron screaming into his pillow because how? how does this little autobot make his spark sing?)

They'd be the ultimate power couple who'd absolutely terrify the autobot council
