Maragogipe se prepara para Simulado de Emergência da Usina de Pedra do Cavalo neste domingo Distritos de Nagé e Coqueiros participam do simulado visando a segurança da população ribeirinha No próximo domingo (09), moradores dos distritos de Nagé e Coqueiros, situados no município de Maragogipe, participarão de um Exercício Prático de Simulado de Emergência realizado pela Usina Hidrelétrica de Pedra do Cavalo. Em parceria com a Polícia Rodoviária Federal (PRF) e outros órgãos competentes, a ação tem como propósito orientar e capacitar a população ribeirinha sobre os procedimentos adequados em caso de um eventual rompimento da barragem. O simulado, que faz parte do Plano de Ação de Emergência (PAE) estabelecido pela Lei Federal 12.334/2010 da Política Nacional de Segurança de Barragens (PNSB), visa garantir a segurança e a preparação das comunidades localizadas na Zona de Autossalvamento das três localidades envolvidas: Cachoeira, Maragogipe e São Félix. A preparação para o exercício prático iniciou-se com antecedência e envolveu a participação de diversos órgãos, entidades, membros da comunidade e da empresa responsável pela barragem. Durante reuniões prévias, foram definidas as atribuições de cada instituição, como a sinalização de áreas de risco, instalação de sirenes, realização de palestras educativas, visitas aos moradores com a entrega de mapas contendo rotas de fuga e pontos de encontro. No dia do simulado, algumas vias dentro dos municípios de Cachoeira, Maragogipe e São Félix serão parcialmente bloqueadas, a fim de garantir a segurança dos participantes.
