I just spent the last two days spray painting some wall tattoos on the house of a cute hippie family here in beautiful Crestone, Colorado! So proud! 🥹 Finally got the new shop OPEN and synched with insta/fb. SO HARD. Now I’m adding products as fast as I can. My family’s help has been such a blessing... and it’s been a real whirlwind from losing my accounts, to starting all over, to now, getting this new shop live. I even had to register as a legit business with an LLC to do this when I wasn’t even sure about this new business name 🫤 But..Here goes! Haha! I’m working on what seems like 1000000 projects to go up in this baby all at once. Honestly I’m just having fun with it, because why not? This is my shop where my imagination can soar and I got past all the hurtles. Now it’s just up to me to put in the work! And I’m a hard worker 💪😁🎉 . This painting, entitled “Serene” is embracing the color blue as a physical method of finding calm and serenity. The color blue is proven to be a soothing color, at which our brains release a calming endorphin called “Serotonin”, as well as lower blood pressure and slow the heart rate down. Why do people collect?

At some point in our journey, we all started collecting something. Movies, songs, clothes, pictures, cards, postcards...

Depending on our age we are all serial collectors and we all collected something. 

Think about it, we all own a phone with a collection of images that we consider precious. 

Collecting is part of us, it is a human trait. And anyone who doesn’t own anything can feel miserable.

Why do people collect art?

I ask this question to more than 4000 people. And I have zeroed in on the answer. 

People collect art to treasure something they felt in the past. To experience something beautiful again whenever they choose to do so.

Collecting art means supporting artists. And God only knows how much society needs good enlightened artists.

In this case, our collector chose a certified reproduction of the David, a staggering 10 feet heigh watercolor.
