I think the closest I've come to rejecting someone romantically was when I was a junior in high school. I had a couple of classes with this guy who was a senior who copied off me, and I thought he was okay, but I didn't think much about him. He and his friend talked about prom, and he didn't have a date, so he said to me one day, "I guess I'm taking you to prom [last name]." And I thought it would be cool to go as a junior, so I was like, sure. We went, and it was kind of weird but fine? And then the next week he said something like "we should go to the movies" and I swear to god the first thing that came out of my mouth was "why would we do that?" I literally had no idea he liked him because I just didn't think about him, and I felt bad, but oh, well.

I've always been a homebody, and the pandemic has made me approximately a million times more one.

That's such a hard one. I love enemies to lovers, but I also love things like "forbidden" love. Secret Admirer might be fun too. Just love tropes I just love miscommunication, I love it when they're idiots. I also love things like there was only one bed or trapped somewhere.

Hello! Thank you very much for asking me (I didn't expect anyone to do it, I put it on my profile, especially, in case anyone was interested), so here are my answers:

blossom— would you get a tattoo? if so, what would it be of?

NO. The only tattoos I've ever gotten are from bags of supermarket chips when I was little, haha. They were fun to put on because they came off so easily, but having something timeless like that… NO. Seems like an unnecessary expense to me.

hot pink— what’s your favorite relationship trope?

OK! You have asked me, precisely, the question that I liked the most on this list. Congratulations haha!

In general, if I review my best couples (which are not that many and one day I would like to put them here) and / or the other months and decision games (like Romance Club) that I have played, I think that the tropes that I like the most are the of:

from childhood friends to lovers (or from best friends to lovers) from partners (team, work, etc.) to lovers. from strangers to lovers (or from strangers to friends to lovers)

Especially the first two! I love it, it looks very believable.

Hmm. I've never been in love, so I would say no.

Hello 💖 thanks for the ask!

Something I'm passionate about: I'm picking two things (because I can 😆), painting and archives. Painting has been a wonderful outlet for me and a soothing coping mechanism over the years, I mostly just do paint by numbers, but I have started branching out to painting shoes.

I could talk about the importance of archives for years. Safe guarding and providing access to historical materials is so so important and I didn't really realize that until I started working in the archive. Particularly because the archive I work in has an extensive LGBTQ+ collection which changed my life a little. I'm very passionate about preserving stories for such oppressed and ignored communities; its amazing the power that holds.

Carnation - okay well here’s the deal. I’m a guy. There’s some part of me that’s into looks. They’re not really that important though, but I’d be a big ass liar if I said they didn’t matter at all.

But I definitely wanna take time to get to know somebody because I know it’s the soul, heart, and brain you really fall in love with. Everything else that makes your heart flutter at the sight or thought of that person is just a bonus. 

Flamingo - Umm well…maybe a little bit. But that’s because I didn’t have very many relationships growing up, and any I did make, I was scared to lose. And then what happened with me and Maggie…well that made it worse on some level.

I’m working on it, but yeah, I kinda am a little bit. Because those really good relationships I have, I don’t deserve them and I don’t wanna lose them.

i would like to say yes, but it's like.... they're so many criterion lol. i'm speculating whether i'm demisexual or aro or ace so i'm more aware of it rn: i never actually develop crushes (iykwim) i just admire a particular characteristic about a person.

my first crush, i liked his accent (don't blame me)

my second crush, i liked his brains (not in the zombie way, the sapiosexual way)

celebrities i 'admire' (again, i dont crush on them) have a certain feature or their acting or something that makes me want to be around them/sink in their personality.

so i'll say it like this: what the world perceives as a crush, i perceive as admiration (eg: not "omg i wanna be with ___" but instead "omg they're such a person-who-can-be-with-another-person and maybe that person could be me?")
