The fact that the Warner Bros Discovery owned social media accounts posted about “Canon Baffy (Bugs/Daffy)” and grabbing tons of social media clout from it while SIMULTANEOUSLY cancelling almost every single animation project both announced and UNANNOUNCED and also REMOVING ANIMATION MEDIA FROM ITS STREAMING SERVICES FOREVER and then also QUIETLY AND PUBLICLY LAYING OFF PEOPLE is the reason I have hate in my heart for this industry.

Big companies hate people and don’t care about you or representation or anything at all except “easy profit wins.”

People can’t pay rent while doing hundred hour work weeks under CRUNCH (and ignoring that it’s crunch and pretending it’s not crunch because it doesn’t affect everyone just the people who aren’t the execs) but the companies are still saying “WE MADE RECORD PROFITS THESE LAST TWO YEARS!”

FYI: If someone in a big position of power says “everything is fine” but lower people on the company totem pole are vagueposting about not being able to afford things like, ya know, MEDICINE or RENT or GROCERIES … start asking yourself what the truth actually is.

I have a lot of big feelings as an OG fan/collector of Pokémon merch. I watched The Pokémon Company International start paying off content creators to consistently kiss their asses so they can continue to make mediocre games without much fan backlash. The same people screaming about Dexit and the fucking awful game production in recent years are the same folks who are now getting those big money sponsorships and aren't allowed to be critical of the games. It's becoming a revenue farm.

does anyone have a note taking app/website they like that i could use on desktop. specifically for advanced latin and greek classes where i have to take notes on vocab and grammar in a given text. ideally something i can use offline that doesn't try to get me to subscribe to anything (i don't necessarily mind a paid app if it's a one-time purchase but i cannot abide the constant attempts to upsell me).

a dude my ma works with at amazon died of a stroke on the job because they force them to work in hot conditions and they refused him water. they bring in modified temperature readers so they can say "see, it's a safe temperature in here, all up to code uwu" but someone snuck in their own temp reader and it was much hotter than they claim it is.

it was ninety degrees Fahrenheit. heavy lifting for several hours at a time, no water, in 90 degree loading docks.

anime: mob psycho 100 greatest anime of all time its three seasons its complete its perfect. keep your hands of eizouken is a great single-season anime that is just such a love letter to animation and looks so cool with great female characters (esp compared to other anime girls). oddtaxi is another great single season of anime, dont look up spoilers.
