Here's the trailer for Hidden Gems! The new season runs from Jun1 until Sept1!

A Global Challenge will take place throughout the event! Work with Trainers around the world to throw 300 million Nice Throws to unlock bonuses for all Trainers to enjoy for the remainder of the event! (The bonuses being Increased Candy and Candy XL for players Lv31+ when they make Nice, Great, and Excellent Throws.)

Wild encounters are Tentacool, Shellder, Krabby, Alolan Exeggutor, Horsea, Staryu, Marill, Wingull, Wailmer, Spheal, Finneon, Dwebble, Frillish, and Clauncher. Rarer encounters are Mantine and Popplio.

Lapras (scarf), Frillish, Binnacle, Clauncher, and Sandygast are Field Research encounters. Yea, that tracks. Of course they'd choose one of the more pain in the butt ways of acquiring the featured Pokemon. Of course. You can get Mega Energy for Swampert and Blastoise too.

Spotlight hour on Jun6 (6-7pm) featuring Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, Clauncher, Crabrawler. There's an event bonus for 3x EXP.

it's me, the depressing anon! I just watched some clips of the live that someone posted on twitter and now I feel like shit. Sarah was laughing at us for believing elucien had a chance. It's so obvious shes Gonna write the elriel book next. Well, she won't be getting my money, not that she cares. Anyways, any bookrecs similar to acotar so I can obsess over them and get over this? Anything steamy and with magic should do. Bonus points if there's soulmates.

I mean this kindly, but I really don’t know why you took her laughter in that way? It seems like a huge reach. Sarah laughing was basically her attempt to keep from saying anything. I’m a horrible liar, so I would do something similar to keep from saying anything that could be misconstrued or - hey, to keep people from seeing straight through my BS 😂

I have a big list of book recommendations based on what you’re looking for - hopefully something there will help! I would add, based on your request, but with the caveat that there are varying levels of smut. There is romance in all of them, and magic, at least:

The Kate Daniels series, by Ilona Andrews. There’s a ton of books, it’s complete, it’s great.

The Nevernight series by Jay Kristoff definitely has the steam part down, but also the magic.

The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir is based on necromancy and while there isn’t explicit steam, it’s quite crude and there is magic and wlw. There isn’t romance in the traditional sense, more like the MC being horny over every woman she sees.

The Beautiful by Renee Ahdieh I know has mixed reviews, but if you liked the movie version of Interview With A Vampire, you’ll really enjoy it.

Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Mariller is fairy tale-esque.

The Fever series by Karen Marie Moning is good, I never finished it because some bits of it bothered me, but it was a huge hit with bookclub.

If you read Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor and don’t become obsessed, idk what to say to you.

The Bird and the Sword chronicles by Amy Harmon are great, I really love them.

Deathless by Catherynne M. Valente is so amazingly written, gorgeous, beautiful, there are tons of great edits on tumblr, infinitely quotable.

The Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen is.... the prequel book just came out and I can’t believe I haven’t read it yet.

Pokemon Next-Gen (Movie Kids): Mathis Konishi

Mathis is the older child of Robert and Solidad. When he was eleven he started participating in Pokemon contests like his parents, he won five ribbons and competed in the Sinnoh Grand Festival, he may have lost the Sinnoh Grand Festival but he didn’t give up and he went to Kanto to compete there for a second chance, he won that competition and was proud of himself for the win. After he had won, he was at a loss for what to do, that was when White approached him and offered him a chance to be in a show for PokeStar Studios, Mathis agreed as he always did want to know what it was like to be on an actor. Mathis was partnered with a girl named Opal for a show about two trainers who were raising a Magikarp and a Feebas and wanted to be a trainer and a coordinator. Mathis soon enjoyed his time playing the role with Opal by his side, the two were then cast for a show about an Oshawott and a Popplio looking for trainers to call their own, Mathis and Opal played the role of Oshawott’s and Popplio’s trainers. After a while of acting alongside Opal, the two of them started dating and are still together, them dating was also factored into their roles. Mathis is mature and kind, he also is selfless and is ready to help anyone with any issues they may have while acting. He’s close friends with Corvin, Harmony, Alistair, Cressida, and Sapphire and he dearly loves his girlfriend Opal and his younger twin siblings, Tori and Tony.

His main colors are purple and orange. Purple represents Mathis’ creativity and his selflessness. It also gives him a regal vibe as purple is associated with royalty and nobility, it helps with certain roles he may have to play, it also represents his status as a Top Coordinator. Purple also helps him get inspired by what he does, it also represents his individuality and his imagination. Mathis is also modest, respectable and he has a lot of empathy. Orange represents his love for adventure and how social he is, he’s also warm-hearted and is a huge extrovert, he’s also courageous and energetic, able to keep acting without a break. He’s also free to be himself as orange gives him new ideas and frees the spirit of limitation.

His Pokemon:

Smoochum- Smoochum was Mathis’ starter Pokemon, he received her as an egg from a couple at a Pokemon daycare. Smoochum had hatched in his arms and Smoochum has been by his side ever since. Smoochum really loves to look her best, as such Mathis always takes time to groom her and to take care of her ever since she hatched from her egg. Smoochum very much enjoyed taking part in contests, mostly for the appeal round but there will be times she’ll be in the battle round but those times are pretty rare. Smoochum is very excitable and kind, she likes to make new friends and she loves to greet new people with a kiss on their cheek as an attempt to get to know them and if she knows someone she’ll kiss them as a show of affection. She’s seen outside of her Loveball, mostly being carried by Mathis and she doesn’t want to evolve.

Moves are Sweet Kiss, Ice Beam, Sing, Psychic, Heart Stamp, Shadow Ball, Light Screen, Aurora Veil, Water Pulse, and Frost Breath.

Staraptor- Staraptor was the first Pokemon Mathis caught while in the Sinnoh region back when he was a Starly. As a Starly, Staraptor was eager to battle even if he was at a disadvantage and he was soon caught by Mathis. After being caught, he was still ready to fight anyone and while he didn’t understand the point of a contest battle, he still greatly enjoyed being part of them mostly because they helped him come up with better ways to improve his skills in battle. When he evolved into Staravia, he had a much greater appreciation for contest battles and enjoys being a part of them with how much he was improving. Now as a Staraptor, he’s still very pleased to battle and he loves to battle more than ever before. After Mathis joined the show business, Staraptor loved to be part of each show or movie he was in and is glad he can still use what he learned from contests, he also calmed down a lot after a break from contests. He’s best friends with Corvin’s Swellow and he’s dating Opal’s Swanna.

Moves are Close Combat, Aerial Ace, Agility, Double Team, Work Up, Feather Dance, Sky Attack, Giga Impact, Quick Attack, and Echoed Voice.

Frosmoth- Mathis had saved Frosmoth from a poacher who had caught her and wanted to sell her, Frosmoth was grateful for what Mathis had done and had offered herself to be part of his team, Mathis had agreed to have her be part of his team. Frosmoth was confused at what Mathis what meant by Pokemon contests but when she learned what a contest was, she was amazed and was more than happy to join in, she was fine being in both the appeal rounds and the battle rounds. Given that she was a Pokemon from another region, she gave Mathis some bonus points whenever he would use her. Frosmoth is a very gentle Pokemon so long as you don’t get on her bad side if anyone gets her angry she will use Icy Wind on them after she learned what contests are, she enjoyed being on a stage and performing alongside Smoochum and Gothorita as well as battling alongside Staraptor. She can be motherly to Smoochum or any kind of young Pokemon she meets.

Ability is Shield Dust.

Moves are Icy Wind, Bug Buzz, Hail, Blizzard, Quiver Dance, Dazzling Gleam, Air Slash, Giga Drain, Mist, and Helping Hand.

Gothorita- Mathis had caught Gothorita when she was released by her previous trainer, Gothorita had been avoiding being caught by other trainers in Sinnoh due to not being native to the Sinnoh region. She avoided being caught because she didn’t want to go into gym battles, she would rather be part of anything so long as she didn’t have to battle. She saw Mathis practicing for a contest and watched him quietly, then she started following him and had watched him compete in a contest, seeing him compete in the contest gave her the idea to join his team. Once Mathis came out of the contest hall, Gothorita quickly went up to him and tried to copy what Smoochum had done in the appeal round, understanding what she wanted he caught Gothorita. Gothorita is a bit of a picky Pokemon, she would rather look cute than participate in a gym battle, she loves the appeal round but she also enjoys participating in contest battles since she can make her moves look pretty as she battles. She’s rather close to Smoochum, considering the baby Pokemon to be her best friend given how similar they are.

Ability is Competitive.

Moves are Psyshock, Future Sight, Attract, Charm, Thunderbolt, Psychic, Mirror Coat, Dark Pulse, Rock Slide, and Energy Ball.

Gyarados- Gyarados was given to Mathis as a Magikarp by the producer of the show he was to co-star in with Opal in an attempt to bond with him before the series premiere. Mathis got along with Magikarp both in front of and behind the camera, he would give Magikarp all kinds of encouragement and help him get through any kind of issue he may have. Magikarp managed to evolve during a scene and thankfully they did a perfect take of the scene of Magikarp evolving. As a Magikarp, Gyarados was very shy, especially around Mathis’ other teammates since they were most likely a lot stronger than him, he also had low self-esteem and always wished he wasn’t so weak. When he evolved, he gained a lot of confidence and is more than happy to battle for his trainer. He does have a soft side, he’s often seen letting Smoochum and Marill ride on his back and he enjoys letting Tony and Tori ride on his back when he sees the two twins. He’s also gentle with Opal’s Milotic, the two of them are also dating each other.

Moves are Brine, Outrage, Dragon Dance, Hydro Pump, Ice Fang, Hyper Beam, Earthquake, Waterfall, Rain Dance, and Hurricane.

Dewott- Dewott was given to Mathis as an Oshawott by the produce of another show he was co-starring with Opal in an attempt to bond with him before the series premiere. Dewott and Mathis got along great with each other and they work very well together. Dewott had evolved before Popplio did, which changed his personality from the cheerful little Oshawott to a now noble and proud Dewott, he’s also really selfless, wanting to protect anyone who can’t protect themselves which is what he is to Brionne, he’s also very protective of her and will soak anyone who makes fun of her or any male who wants to flirt with her. He can be playful, mostly when Mathis’ younger siblings come to visit or if Mathis goes to visit his family and he’s always happy to hear someone call him cool. Dewott is dating Opal’s Brionne.
