Guys, its not some fucking “bad luck devil” or whatever. It’s clearly this fucking time gargler or whatever the fuck that’s behind all this nonsense. Aguefort literally lays it out for us that the quangle makes things happen out of order. Things like, say…Zelda and Gorgug being broken up even though we know from the Seven that they’re still together in Junior year, or Aelwyn suddenly moving out and going from a snarky 19 year old whose never had a job or gone to college to a middle school teacher with 5 cats in the course of 3 months, or the sophomore album being 10 months late even though Fig only finished her debut a little over 16 months ago AND they were in the middle of the tour, or Hallariel and Gilear getting engaged after like a year when 3 months ago Gilear wasn’t even allowed to sleep in her bed, and Sklonda defending one of the organizers of this folk festival when the festival hasn’t even happened yet, or Figs birthday suddenly moving from Christmas to July.

idk how many other people noticed, so tack this onto your quangle theories or whatever, but a few things stuck out to me this last episode.

first off, when porter talked to gorgug, he said “if this was even just the start of your junior year, i’d be fine with it.” now, it could be that brennan meant sophomore and misspoke, but it’s equally possible he didn’t at all.

point two is that the society of shadows confirms that the timeline is off. this should be the year that the seven are off finding tectonia— and yet… it’s said zelda already graduated. but that can’t be true, because at the end of the seven campaign, the society of shadows had gone viral.

riz finds mention of the society in the margins of what he’s looking at with a 31 investigation. and he acts like he’s never heard of it. brennan doesn’t say anything about the dude who shit his pants on viral video while talking about this place, so it probably isn’t just murph not remembering what happened in a side campaign a few years ago.

of course, they could’ve men in black’d everyone, but i doubt it— in brennan’s worlds, actions have long term effects, and penny earned that shit!

so it’s junior year. the seven should be finding out about the GED. gorgug and zelda probably shouldn’t have broken up just yet. the society of shadows is still secret.

or it’s not, and the seven have graduated, things have changed, and the society of shadows should not be secret.

I have just found out about the Time Quangle. I really like it. I think I would like to agree, and I probably do. But I also think it would be funny if it just Didnt turn out to be true. Like it would be Devastating, because it’s so compelling, but also i think it would be funny if it was like “No, the point is that This is what Junior Year is just Like.” It would be nuts, but it is making me laugh rn. i just remembered dimension 20 has a dedicated lore keeper. For me, this is the final nail in the coffin and I do think I'm a quanglican now

The more I learn and read about angliquakers/quanglicans, aka people who are both anglican/episcopalian and quaker at the same time, the more I'm drawn to it but I live in a country where both those denominations are tiny and don't exist in my city so like 🤷

Okay, after discovering that I am in fact blind and Kipperlilly’s eyes are NOT just full white, here is my serious analysis of our intro to Kipperlilly.

This girl is a fascist.

Full stop, this girl is a full throat, blood and soil fascist. The ratgrinders are pretty obviously a reference to the sorta ‘drain the swamp’ style “we are getting the vermin out” ethnic cleansing mentality.
