idk how many other people noticed, so tack this onto your quangle theories or whatever, but a few things stuck out to me this last episode.
first off, when porter talked to gorgug, he said “if this was even just the start of your junior year, i’d be fine with it.” now, it could be that brennan meant sophomore and misspoke, but it’s equally possible he didn’t at all.
point two is that the society of shadows confirms that the timeline is off. this should be the year that the seven are off finding tectonia— and yet… it’s said zelda already graduated. but that can’t be true, because at the end of the seven campaign, the society of shadows had gone viral.
riz finds mention of the society in the margins of what he’s looking at with a 31 investigation. and he acts like he’s never heard of it. brennan doesn’t say anything about the dude who shit his pants on viral video while talking about this place, so it probably isn’t just murph not remembering what happened in a side campaign a few years ago.
of course, they could’ve men in black’d everyone, but i doubt it— in brennan’s worlds, actions have long term effects, and penny earned that shit!
so it’s junior year. the seven should be finding out about the GED. gorgug and zelda probably shouldn’t have broken up just yet. the society of shadows is still secret.
or it’s not, and the seven have graduated, things have changed, and the society of shadows should not be secret.

Guys, its not some fucking “bad luck devil” or whatever. It’s clearly this fucking time gargler or whatever the fuck that’s behind all this nonsense. Aguefort literally lays it out for us that the quangle makes things happen out of order. Things like, say…Zelda and Gorgug being broken up even though we know from the Seven that they’re still together in Junior year, or Aelwyn suddenly moving out and going from a snarky 19 year old whose never had a job or gone to college to a middle school teacher with 5 cats in the course of 3 months, or the sophomore album being 10 months late even though Fig only finished her debut a little over 16 months ago AND they were in the middle of the tour, or Hallariel and Gilear getting engaged after like a year when 3 months ago Gilear wasn’t even allowed to sleep in her bed, and Sklonda defending one of the organizers of this folk festival when the festival hasn’t even happened yet, or Figs birthday suddenly moving from Christmas to July.

she's doing a time loop, or has been doing one
she found the rogue teacher at 8:01 bc she spent a year or two looking last loop and just knew where to start
she's hated riz since freshman year for something he hasnt done yet or for something he's in the process of doing this year
she doesn't want oisin involved because last time it went wrong for him
maybe she keeps looping to prevent something from happening. maybe it's to stop ankarna. maybe the bad kids initially brought back ankarna and caused a disaster and thats why she hates riz gukgak. Maybe riz is the one who ran against her the first time
maybe she filled out lucy's paperwork to swap gods because she learned the gods name in an alternate timeline and it didnt break oblivati mori bc it hadn't happened yet
i really like the theory that she was impersonating jace when henry got yelled at. maybe last time henry got too involved and pulled ruben out before they could finish whatever it is theyre doing
maybe she's got her party grinding rats day in and day out bc the alternative missions were just as grindy and dull to her and at least this way she can guarantee they're safe
she just has the vibes of someone who thinks she knows exactly how the game is supposed to go and then gets mad when her speed run is ruined by a little chaotic rng (the bad kids)

am i alone in thinking that the time quangle was probably caused by connor counterspell breaking the arcane clock in the synod mall?
time fuckery has an effect on all of time, so the clock getting fucked up would have affected earlier events as well
and brennan did keep mentioning that the clock had so many times from different dimensions all at once
it feels like that being messed up would be pretty bad

#i neeeeed fig to go indie it’s her destiny#she promises each of them that she’ll dedicate at least one song to them and then dedicates a track to each of them individually#sklondas seething a tiny bit that she called riz the ball but he won’t stop playing it so it keeps getting stuck in her head#adaine summons mephits to help with her track#you can hear her in the background near the end yelling ‘yeah!’ and ‘fuck off!’#fabian wanted his to sound like a shanty but fig said it wouldn’t go with the vibe of the album#they eventually compromised by having the noise of waves and seagulls subtly in the background throughout#kristen actually cried the first time fig played the ballad of lucy frostblade for them#summer scaries sounds like an olivia rodrigo song#gorgug gets a sick drum solo in raging for love#time quangle opens with fire crackling and a bird cawing and a quiet clip of ayda saying ‘I love you’ before the instrumental starts#fig stuck a quiet sound clip of gilear saying ‘oh fuck’ and then a louder sound clip of her saying ‘oh fuck!’ in cursed#devils nectar is one of the slower tracks on the album#hall of mirrors is heavily inspired by the events at evil mordred and baron so you can hear a lot of influences from baronesian music in it#fig has a fucking sick as hell guitar solo and a couple of samples from just the bottomless pit in general in infaethable#Gorthalax also gets some lyrical input on it#fig manages to get a clip of riz saying ‘the ball bitch!’ to kalvaxus in freshman year to put in fury of the ball#is this too long for an album? maybe but who cares I love this#a good portion of the profits made from the album goes towards college for the party#having thoughts about fig and the cig fig’s Junior year album#autism (mads) speaks#fantasy high#fhjy#fig faeth#fantasy high junior year#dimesnion 20#d20 fantasy high#fig and the cig figs
