I had a lot of fun painting this one because coral reefs are just such strange but fascinating environments. I’ve been wanting to revisit this theme since I first drew it back in 2019 so I’m glad I had the chance to challenge myself with it 😎
Hey so guess what turns out the Smogon Sprite Project does have Hisuian forms so I'm gonna put those in now. Alongside this will be a post with links to Pokemon that have retroactively had their Hisuian forms added.

Out of every pokemon u have posted so far which one is the LEAST SMASHABLE, in your opinion?
Ooh that’s tricky. I’ll be honest, I vote smash on every poll for the bit and also just cause I can be busy and I want to see the results without actually thinking about it. So I don’t really think about it. My first thought is Onix cause it’s just rocks. But I also couldn’t smash an Igglybuff or a Smoochum or pokemon that are too small and cute. Maybe Quilfish is my least smashable cause oofy ouchy?
Would you happen to know of any other pokemon breeders who deal with Hisuian variants? I'm very curious about these pokemon in general, especially any dark or ghost types owo
Not at the moment, no. Which is honestly unfortunate, I would love to know more folks working to reintroduce these guys to their environment! It's a shame how many species were lost in such a short span of time... If I happen to stumble across anyone I will gladly update you on the matter.
If I could ever consider this Sneasel breeding project complete (unlikely in my lifetime) I would take on this sort of thing again for some of the other variants. The ghost types seem like they would be extremely difficult to obtain ethically though considering the harsh circumstances that initially led to their species developing...
