"This world is full of so many possibilities. Each living thing has an entirely unique experience. The sights they see, the sounds they hear. The lives they live are so complicated... and so simple."
"But you, you're supposed to change. You're never the same, even moment to moment -- you're allowed and expected to invent who you are. What an incredible power -- the ability to "grow up"."
Mind over matter. Logic over emotion. In the face of oblivion, you must learn to laugh when you want to cry and THINK when you want to give up and die.
Don't you hate it when you see an awesome quote and do your due diligence and find out that the person quoted didn't actually say the awesome saying. :/

I don't want to be in Tears for Fears in five years time. I'll be very surprised if we last more than two years because of who we are and what we do. I'm not particularly interested in setting up or establishing myself as an act to be remembered. There is life outside the music business and there's life after a pop group.
Roland Orzabal, Juke Magazine March 19 1983.
*Little did Roland know at the time, that two years later they would release Songs From the Big Chair which would go on to be the most successful of their career and one of the most popular albums to come out of the 80s. Further he had no idea that almost 40 years later they would release their seventh studio album, The Tipping Point, and follow that up with a successful tour to accompany it! :)
Wrestling is a funny thing. Once you get into it, you can't seem to shut up about it.... The spectacle, the story lines, the conflict and resolution. The athletic maneuvers, the stunts, good prevailing over evil and even if things aren't going well for our heroes there could be a win around the corner. It had everything: drama, comedy, romance, adrenaline, excitement. Above all, it had hope.
