I've been posting everything I've done lately (despite of how meh they might be), but I have a handful drawings I don't feel comfortable sharing (mostly what I did before creating SyninDoodles) - I want to re-do/visit some and hopefully share them eventually 🥴

I don't do paintings as in with brushes and actual paint (at least not for myself, I do paint for university) so whenever I see someone doing mostly portraits I loose my mind like ???? It's just so beautiful <3 (Your art included, sweetie ;)

Already answered this one too but no, every once in a loooong while I *might* listen to Alexander Ludwig's music (I did listen to his music bc he's handsome but ended up loving his vibe!) but that's it hehe

Mia the British Shorthair Cat (2024)

A pet portrait painting of a cute grey British Shorthair cat named Mia, laying in the grass, which was her favorite thing to do. Acrylic painting on 9x12 inch (22.9 x 30.5 cm) stretched canvas, March 2024.

A big thank you to @whitedarkmoonflower for trusting me with capturing your girl's beauty on canvas! This was a fun one to paint due to all the subtle colors in her fur, as well as those fiery copper orange eyes! Grey fur has so much variation in colors from the lighting. It can appear blue or even violet in some areas, and creamy white in others. I also had a blast painting the grass and the out-of-focus background.

Olivia, 2023

Acrylics on 16x20 canvas

This is Olivia, aka "Squashy". She is my own cat, a very special soul and the most extraordinary cat I have ever met. She passed away in June 27, 2018 from a long fight with bone cancer, and I have still yet to recover. She was only 10 years old, and left us far too soon. I have been putting off doing her portrait for a long time because it was so difficult, emotionally and technically.

Anyone who met Olivia knew what a special cat she was. She only wanted to be with me, and she followed me everywhere, no matter what I was doing. She listened to me, and seemed to understand what I was saying. She had a deep crackly meow and was not afraid to use it. She loved her beanie babies; she would carry them around the house, making a crying sound, and put them in little piles. She gave hugs and kisses, and loved to sit in my lap and be cuddled, constantly, no matter what I was doing. Whenever I was sad she would cling to me and give me extra hugs.

Her passing has left a huge hole in my heart and soul that will never be filled. 😿😭💔

"Raven Placing the Stars"

Acrylic painting on linen panel, 16" x 20", September 5, 2023

A legend according to the Tlingit peoples of Alaska say that Raven placed the stars in the sky. Once long ago, the stars belonged to the great heavenly chief, who hoarded them in a sack. One day, Raven turned into a pine needle and was swallowed by the chief's daughter, where he was later born as her son. The chief gave his grandson the sack of stars to play with. Raven seized the opportunity, turned back into a raven, ascending to the heavens with the sack in his beak. As he soared across the heavens, he scattered the stars in his wake.
