alright, I knew going in to Mutant Mayhem that it was gonna be good. but like?? it sticks to the idea of asymmetry in its character design and world, and is so unapologetic about it and that’s what makes the style work so well. it’s funky, and weird, and nothing matches but that’s what makes it fun!! it doesn’t take itself too seriously and has fun with its concepts WHICH MORE MOVIES NEED TO DO but it still gives time to work the jokes into the story, and it lets the characters feel like they could actually exist! It’s awesome!!
