Hi! So I’m new to the Tarlos fandom and you seem to be really nice… so if you could help me navigate this space I would be very grateful. So how’s the fandom what can I expect ? What are the accounts to follow?

I understand if you’re not available to answer and if it’s not your thing but thank you anyway.

HELLO! Welcome <3 This certainly is my thing - I'm always available and happy to answer any and all questions when it comes to Tarlos content.

First up, a warm welcome to the Tarlos fandom - we are happy to have you here! I expect that from your ask you have only recently watched the show. I hope you enjoyed :) Usual caveats apply - check tags, warnings, ratings etc. Not all blogs/fics/content is going to be for everyone, and that's totally okay!

Before I get into my rambling/screaming about how much I love other people and their work, I should also say that I never have enough time to consume all the Tarlos content that I would like to, and so this list can never capture every amazing person on this site. If you check out the #fic rec friday tag on my blog, you should find all the round ups for all past Fic Rec Fridays, where people from all over the fandom (and other fandoms!) recommended some truly amazing content.

Lone Star Ornaments (Non-cross stitch edition)

In addition to my cross stitch ornaments, I made 8 other ornaments for my Lone Star Christmas tree.

First, I had to be sure to get the logo in there somewhere.

These two were made with this process, and I really love how they turned out. In fact, I loved it so much that I think I might make a couple more in different colors as gifts. The only thing the instructions didn't mention was the fact that the inside of the ornaments took about 3-4 days to completely dry.

Here's front and back of my fairly simple 126 ornament.

For this one, I took a blank ceramic ornament, painted each side a different color, stuck on a sticker from @reyeslonestar (can be purchased here) on either side and then added some glitter paint over top.

For these two, I got some plywood rectangles, used a hammer and nail to punch holes for the hanger, painted the rectangles, stuck on stickers from @thebumblecee (can be purchased here), and applied a good amount of glitter paint to the backs and a little to the fronts.

Finally, I had to find a way to include this Marjan quote—I really want to get it into a cross stitch project at some point too—and it felt right to pair it with paint, glitter and sequins.

- I love everything made by @eddiediaaz. I can’t choose only one gifset. Everything Alie makes is so incredibly beautiful. Her coloring, the scenes, the typography, 1000% every damn time ! The creativity is unmatched ! Absolute perfection ✨ This buddie gifset is such a perfect example of her talent.

- I can’t believe @captain-hen is out there making masterpiece after masterpiece. Like okay the coloring, blending, typography !! Everything is so flawless ! The talent is unreal ! I stared at this eddie &  christopher gifset for so long 💖

- At that point I don’t know what i would without the amazing content from @guardian-angle22. The Paul content is a+, and the series of the others characters in every ep is everything to me 

- This incredible buck gifset lives rent free in my mind, but also can’t stop smiling thinking about the big titty buckleys gifset, by @jamiettart

- I think my jaw dropped when I saw this buddie gifset, by @bilosan

- I may be in love with @lutavero coloring as every single set always looks so good. And the feral cat turned domesticated gifset is iconic
