Rhubarb Cheese Cake _____________________________________ ✔️ SAVE this post to make later ✔️ TAG a friend who needs this inspo 🔸Ingredients 200g soft cheese 4 eggs 150 double cream 150g sugar 60g melted butter 150g flour 1 tsp baking powder a pinch of salt 1 tsp vanilla extract 7 stalks rhubarb, chopped 🔸How to make? 1. Preheat your oven at 180C/350F/Gas mark 4 and grease a glass or ceramic round baking dish. I used 13 cm diameter dish and 4 cm hight. 2. Using an electric mixer , beat the cheese, double cream, sugar and butter, until light and fluffy. Add in the eggs, vanilla extract, salt and mix again until well incorporated. 3. Mix the flour and baking powder. Bring it over the wet ingredients and mix well until a homogeneous batter forms. 4. Add half of the chopped rhubarb into the batter. 5. Transfer it into the baking dish and transfer the remaining rhubarb on top. 6. Bake 40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. 7. Let in cool and serve. 8. . Rhubarb has a high concentration of calcium but must be taken in moderation as the body can't easily absorb it. The stalks provide generous amounts of vitamin C and K, with minerals potassium, magnesium, and many more. It is a delicious dessert👌🏼 however as mentioned above in moderation 🙏 However the leaves are highly poisonous they contain a substance called oxalic acid which is a nephrotoxin, in other words this chemical can be extremely harmful for the kidneys and cause kidney failure.
