Smile [TMNT Mikey x Reader]

Summary: Mikey never sees his crush smiles, and he tried to fix it.

Notes: Written with Bayverse and ROTTMNT Mikey in mind, but can also read with any iteration of Mikey.

Type: Headcanons

You might seems stoic and emotionless, but you're so kindhearted. You're always there when the boys and April needs help. You might not be good with words but your act of service and gift giving makes Mikey drawn to you.

But still, you never smiles infront of them.

Since he has a huge crush on you, Mikey makes it a mission for him to see you smile.

Showing you funny cat videos, didn't work.

Tells you funny jokes, you just blinked with a blank stare.

Plays a comedy movie on movie night to see your reactions, nothing.

Mikey even asked Donnie if you're secretly a robot, but Donnie tell Mikey you're very much a human.

One time Mikey succeed though, was unintentional.

He was cooking for you, confident of his skills, trying to impress you.

He invites you to the kitchen and said he makes something for you.

Turns out what he made is a total disaster in terms of its shape, it was supposed to be smiley face fries but it seems like a scary smiley face.

Mikey practically screamed "NOOOO" and fell on his knees.

He was sulking until he heard something.

Was that...a giggle from you???

Mikey was dumbfounded, he stands up and see you take one of the failed smiley fries and eats it, saying it's still edible.

"Thanks, mikey" you SMILED sweetly after one bite.

Mikey fainted from happiness.

It doesn’t have so much to do with your height but I did take that into account! When the two of you first meet he’s shorter than you, (which I personally find so adorable!) I can imagine him hoping for a boost, somehow always wearing high-top shoes or inserts or yk just finding things to stand on when you’re around so he can be the same height or taller than you! But alas he shall eventually become taller than you as time passes~

The two of you together?? Absolutely comedic! You guys make the group laugh nonstop and can effortlessly bounce jokes off one another! He loves being able to make you laugh just like how I assume you feel the same <3 the cuties <3

He would be enthralled by your talents with instruments, and that voice?! Oml he has literal heart eyes as he watches you sing! Sometimes he’s so entranced he’ll actually be still for once until the song is over and then he’s clapping and bounding over to you, showering you with praise and affection!

What a coincidence, Mikey is a foodie too, why did you cross it out?!?! He’s making your favorite dishes, favorite deserts, favorite pizza, anything he can learn about you when it comes to food he’s putting it to use in the kitchen to whip you up something special THOUGH, you’re gonna have to make sure he stays away from the coffee, I am a firm believer that he does Mikey more harm than good (as he in don’t need anymore energy XD) so when he’s waking up early to fix your coffee you must make sure he hasn’t stolen a few sips or worse made his own

And last but definitely not least, (I think this is the main reason I chose Mikey for you) if someone is mean/an ass/a bully you have no problem stepping in! I think Mikey would need that type of person in his life (even tho he’s got 3 older brothers) he finds himself forgiving even villains so you would be perfect at telling someone exactly when they crossed the line, while Mikey would just brush it off even if it hurt his feelings

I tried to make it look creepy. Kinda failed at that, but it was a fun drawing to work on in the end! I want to work on more stalker-themed drawings in the future, they're surprisingly energizing to work on! It was kind of a challenge working on the lighting for this one, but I made it work.. Somewhat. If someone wants to take this and add some color and extra life to it, feel free!

Leo couldn’t help the smug, cocky smile on his face. I mean, why wouldn’t you want to observe someone as amazing as him? He’ll definitely be bragging to his brothers later, and believe me, he will not shut up about it for at least a day or two.

Even if he didn’t show it, or even admit it out loud, your interest made him feel tingly and warm inside. You made him feel so loved, and like he was important and special.

He knew you would be mad if you knew he was looking through your stuff, but you’re the one who left your backpack in his room, just begging to be gone through! And when he found a file with HIS name on it, how could he resist? Again believe me, you will never hear the end of this.

And of course, he wouldn’t want you to have any misinformation…

ROTTMNT Dating sim "I made you a mixtape" Announcement

Hey guys! Whenever I wrote these fics I always felt like I could give more, do more, and eventually that rabbit hole ended on this, I am starting a project to create a ROTTMNT visual novel/dating sim!

In this game you will be able to romance any of the four turtles, so far three different endings are planned (A good ending, a normal ending and a bad ending) your choices matter for the plot.

Today I created the design for the title screen and I will keep it like this as a placeholder while I work on the character sprites

The icon on the left has already been added as the icon for the game window, the backgrounds and a map for the player to interact with will be worked on soon and the designs are based on @honeylief 's design of the new lair with their permission.

The script for the prologue has already been written too!

I am extremely excited for this project and the ideas are flowing! I am also getting suggestions from the discord chat, however if anyone wants to help (Programmers, Artists, musicians, or anyone who knows how to use ren'py) it will be greatly appreciated as it is quite an ambitious project and I am not a programmer, I am just beginning to learn how to use ren'py.

I hope you guys are as excited as I am for it!

First Kiss

RotTMNT x gn!reader

Warnings: fluff, kissing, not written as hcs, kinda short?

A/N: I do have a love confessions headcannon already that has like a confession kiss, so ignore that for the purpose of this headcannon. Have an amazing day/night!

Donnie

Donnie would admit that he's not the most romantic, he could be if he wanted, but most of the time it wasn't something he cared for. Yet, when it came to you... He kept a stash of your favorite candy in his lab. Maybe one day he'll eat a piece and kiss you, just so it tastes like your favorite candy. Donnie would make you small things just to see your blush and stumble over your words. He loved it.

But for some reason things changed. You stopped stuttering when he gave you things. In fact — though he couldn't be sure — you seemed to get more flirty with him. You gave him compliments, touched him more, and overall just seemed more focused on him.

Donnie wouldn't lie and say that he hated it, he liked having your attention. Yet he wondered why it was so sudden. He'd have to think about that later as you're sitting next to him right now.

"Donnie, this is genius, really." You gush as you looked at his newest blueprint. He hadn't actually made it yet, but he had it all laid out and ready to make.

"Why do you sound surprised? I am a genius after all." He muses, leaning back in his chair. He was trying to act nonchalant, but inside he was screaming.

"Of course. Of course." You snort, smiling at him. "I'm just saying, this is the coolest thing You've ever come up with. This could really make Genius Built take off."

Donnie really doesn't know what came over him, truly to this day he claims he blacked out. But he had to kiss you. You'd always been so supportive and kind to him. He leans forward, cupping your jaw, and pressing his lips to yours so gently. And, yes, it does taste like your favorite candy.

Leo

Leo prides himself on being charming and flirtatious. He always enjoyed the blush on your face, when you'd cover your face anytime he flirted with you. He truly couldn't help himself, you just look so cute.

So imagine his shock when you suddenly started flirting back, "accidentally" making your hand brush his. He didn't know why there was a change, but he wasn't complaining.

When you two chilled out in his room, he'd hold you close to him. Leo would claim that it's just because you're warm and turtles like warm things. In reality, he likes hearing your heart race when he compliments you. As time goes on, he gets a bit more handsy, finding any reason to touch you.

One day, his mind is just filled with thoughts of you. He literally can't get you out of his head, he's tried. Mikey mumbled something to Raph about Leo being "lovesick" and Leo couldn't agree more.

When you finally came over. Though, he didn't know you were there at first. But he felt the brush of your hand on his, his own hand quickly grabbing you. Leo couldn't help himself. He pulled you against him and kissed you, letting out a relieved sigh.

Mikey

Mikey tried his best to be everything you needed. He loved being with you, he flirted without fully realizing he was flirting. But the sight of your blush, the way you looked when he complimented you makes his heart soar.

Then you started flirting back? Holding his hand? Being more touchy?

It was his turn to blush and stutter, but honestly it just made him more attracted to you. It made him crave your touch, your laugh, your smile. Mikey was growing a bit concerned, he's never had someone plague his thoughts like this before.

Every time you came over, Mikey would look at you and think about how you'd feel in his arms. He'd watch your lips when you'd talk, thinking about what would happen if he just leaned forward and kissed you. Of course, he didn't want to interrupt you while you spoke.

Finally, Mikey gained the courage to do just that. You had just finished talking about your day, smiling so big, so sweetly. Mikey was grinning back, leaning forward. He pressed a small, quick kiss to your lips before pulling back. He didn't want to overwhelm you or overstep.

Raph

Raph was anxious about going too far before you were ready. He'd always check in to see if you were doing okay, but never really flirted. Not like Leo, he didn't really give compliments either. He'd hold you, help you with things, but never outright flirted.

If Mikey and Leo hadn't told you that Raph was crushing on you, you probably wouldn't have known. Raph is that lowkey about it.

Honestly after they told you, you still didn't believe it. But you realized how Raph would go out of his way to help you, constantly texting you encouraging things, always making sure you're comfortable.

He liked taking things slow, wanting to get a good feel on how well you two worked together. He wouldn't do anything if you two aren't together, not wanting it to be fleeting. So after a few months of being together, Raph's mind is filled with thoughts about what your lips would feel like against his.

Raph makes a huge deal about it. He'll take you out to dinner, make it as romantic as he can. He'll walk you home like the gentleman he is and he does kiss you on the doorstep. Raph is so gentle, holding your jaw, his thumb caressing his cheek. And when he pulls away? He doesn't stay away for long, kissing you a few more times.

You were an English teacher who recently started working at a new school. Youre quite nervous, but exciting at the thought of what awaits you with this sudden change.

Donnie

- Donnie was one of those strict science teachers that nobody dared to underestimate.

- At first, he didnt seem too interested when he heard of a new teacher who started working there.

- hes never even been a romantic type, he honestly didnt care and let fate decide if he gets a partner or not.

- When he saw you for the first time though, he thought he might be hallucinating.

- "Oh sweet Galileo help me.."

- you probably immediately checked his "cute but mean" type without even saying a single word

- He became more interested in you, talking to you more often, even at times asking u to meet up during the break.

- "Hey, uhm.. Could i maybe interest u in some coffee during the break?"

- he thought all of this "romantic feeling" thing wasnt real, but he seriously cant help but fall for you.

Leo

- Leo is obviously the laid-back cool Spanish teacher.

- Almost every student liked him, he was chill and even jokes around

- (he once drew donnie on the board with a huge forehead and wrote "megamind" next to it)(no, donnie did not take that well)

- He was quite interested when he heard of a new teacher, hell he was probably the first one to interact with you out of his brothers

- The second he saw you, this mf fell straight face down in love with you

- "oh mi gosh thats the new teacher?! Shes gorgeous! Do you see her Donnie?! You see her?! Oh i so need to get her number!!"

- tries to act sly and flirt with you

- and fails miserably

- Mikey is the sweet art teacher and students enjoy being around him, but yet again they probably wont dare to underestimate his "Dr. Delicate touch" side

- He was quite excited when he heard about a new teacher.

- When he saw you, he suddenly felt nervous and flustered. And he knew why.

- at this point, everyone but you knew abt how he admires you, a little more than in the friendly way.

- He couldnt get the courage to go and talk to you, which put Dr. Feelings to shame

- When you actually started talking tho, you got quite close.

- Youd be with him almost every break

- You would often stay in his classroom/art studio and watch him paint during the lunch break

- and during those times he even asks u to pick his colours

- "Hey Y/n, which colour do you think would suit the ladies dress more? Red or blue?"

- Sometimes you even jokingly ask to be his model, but in all honesty he doesn't mind at all

- you guys were an inseparable duo, and he caught himself falling more and more for you

- He's the PE teacher, hes fun but strict when he needs to be.

- He doesnt mind that theres a new teacher, hes quite excited abt it actually - he would gladly want to meet you.

- First thing that catches his eye is that he thinks youre really pretty.

Leonardo

◇ Ever since Leo realized his feelings, his casual demeanor towards [Y.N] had turned into almost aggressively flirting.

◇ Despite not wanting to rush into confessing his feelings, he was practically a simp for that person..

◇ But he also teased them often, of course, not on a seriously offensive level. Just light pokes and prods.

◇ I'm sure he bragged to anyone about his not-yet relationship with [Y.N].

"Oh, and I recently won a unicorn plushie for them, and they were really delighted! WE'RE MEANT TO BE TOGETHER!"

"Pepino, get the hell out of here."

◇ Just as Donatello had enough of his (non-)twin, he now wanted to dig a hole to hell and throw him in there to finally get some rest.

◇ Anyway, the accidental confession happened one night when neither he nor [Y.N] could sleep.

◇ They were sending each other various memes through Discord in bulk. This boosted his confidence even more, leading to him typing 'I love you.'

◇ Of course, he hadn't sent it yet; his mind was suddenly filled with not-so-good thoughts. What if they don't feel the same? What if they laugh at him?? Or something worse?!

◇ Despite his persona, the boy was full of insecurities, from his looks to his personality, but with them... he felt good about himself.

◇ But would such a confession be too simple? The boy decided to wait at least one day before confessing his love.

◇ But fate said 'nuh-uh,' and his phone fell on Leo's face, causing panic. Due to his carelessness, he held the device wrong, resulting in the accidental sending of the ill-fated message.

"No, no, no, NO!" His voice trembled as he tried to delete the message immediately. Unfortunately, the app froze to his disadvantage. "Damn it!"

◇ When he managed to reopen the app, there was a new message.

◇ "... You are not joking, right?"

◇ This night would last even longer than a turtle had anticipated.

Raphael

◇ I think it happened during the attack on their home by Shredder. Absolute chaos, a storm of emotions, the perfect situation for an imperfect love confession.

◇ "Raph, have you lost your mind?!" [Y.N] began, full of outrage. "Why didn't you let me stay? Splinter and Draxum need help!"

The turtle furrowed his brow bones, looking down at the shorter person with regret. "It was the only way, I'm sure they'll handle it."

"And what if they don't? What if they needed our help right now?"

◇ No matter how advanced [Y.N]'s combat skills were, Raphael was even more opposed to the idea.

◇ "Nothing will happen to them!" Raphael raised his voice, as if trying to convince not only the teenager but himself. "And stop arguing with me; I'm the leader here, and I make the decisions!"

"Damn it, I don't understand you! I could handle it, and you would have more time to plan; I'm not needed here!!"

◇ Just a reminder, everyone present was watching this argument.

◇ "Yes, you are!"

"No, I'm not!"

"You are! I don't want to lose you like Gram Gram; I love you too much!" His angry red face suddenly turned shocked. Oh, oh. Did he really just say that??

◇ His dark eyes met the teenage counterpart's. Their whole face was red, and their determination to sacrifice themself slowly faded from their eyes.

"... Fine," [Y.N] muttered and sat down in the seat next to Michelangelo.

◇ When all this chaos is over, they'll have to talk, this time more calmly.

Donatello

◇ Donnie has a need to be as organized as possible, so before suggesting anything, he has to plan everything out and make sure that any confession of feelings will go perfectly.

◇ Of course, he had a large folder with potential scenarios that could happen before and after the confession. It had a bit of a vibe from his previous reincarnation, but much less scary and obsessive - he simply felt strong discomfort without preparation.

◇ Leo likes to tease him about it, by the way.

◇ Anyway, there was one situation the boy didn't anticipate. One night, he had been working on another invention all night, aimed at stealing another battery from the Purple Dragons, and in the morning, he fell asleep at his desk, or rather, he was half-unconscious.

◇ "Dee, come to bed." Raphael's voice echoed through the lab, gently shaking the sleepy Soft-shell's naked shoulder. In response, he got some sluggish syllables and a hiss. "You can't sit here like this; it's not healthy." "And sitting here all night is unhealthy enough," he added quietly.

"Get lost..." That's all the turtle understood. Raph rolled his eyes and moved away from his brother a bit.

"I'm not going to struggle; I'm sleep-deprived myself," the red-loving enthusiast said, picking up his phone.

◇ And so [Y.N] appeared in the lair, as the ultimate weapon.

◇ "Donnie! Get up! Lie down in bed!" The teenager themself was not well-rested, considering the early hour, but they tried not to sound irritated. Donnie mumbled something again and straightened up in his chair.

"Raphaello, leave me alone," Donnie started, putting his hands on the keyboard. Apparently, he had no intention of opening his eyes. "I still need to make a few changes to the code..."

"Wait, do you think I'm Raph??" [Y.N] asked in surprise, pointing at themself. Did their voice really sound so manly and deep?? Since when??

"And you're talking in the third person again; I've told you that it's no longer fashionable." Donnie tried not to hit his head against the desk even a little, wanting to at least be somewhat awake. The human wanted to say something, correct him, but gave up with a certain idea in their mind.

◇ they had noticed strange aspects of their friend's behavior lately. He was more open to their, often grabbing their hand or hugging their despite his usual aversion to it, he made various devices for their that made quite an impression on their... there had to be something to it!

◇ "Hey, buddy," the human leaned lazily against the desk, trying their best to mimic the speech style of the oldest of the brothers. "Do you, you know, have something going on with our best, most wonderful human friend??"

"You mean April?" Ouch, that hurt, even though [Y.N] felt the same way. "She's our almost-sister, Raph, yuck."

◇ "Oh, no! [Y.N], I meant [Y.N]!" The teenager corrected themself, slightly annoyed. It was weird.

"What about them? I already told you." No! Not like that!

"Ahahah, you know I have a bad memory when I'm not stressed!"

"Mh..." Pause. Did they say something wrong? Donatello is overly smart; he should figure out what's wrong! How will they explain this? "Everything's fine; my plan will be initiated in half a year at the latest." Plan? What plan??

"Plan...?"

"Rendezvous plan, duh," Donnie replied, resting his head on his hand. "I know you advised against it, but I can't do it differently. I need everything to be tip-top before I confess my feelings to them."

◇ "..."

◇ "Raph...?"

◇ [Y.N] remained silent, trying to control their sudden heartbeat and their face turning as red as a strawberry.

Michelangelo

◇ Playing the role of Dr. Delicate Touch, the boy knew perfectly well what he felt and wanted to confess his love, but the natural fear of rejection also got to him.

◇ He wanted to think this all through. He wanted to do it as smoothly and charmingly as possible, but not in a way that made it seem like he didn't care. He didn't want to throw such important words to the wind!

◇ His artist's soul played a significant role here. Every time he felt great, he had to sketch something related to love.

◇ Just woke up from a fantastic dream? He had to quickly grab his sketchbook and sketch [Y.N] in a floral wreath.

◇ He was on patrol and saw their favorite cafe? He started sketching the teenager drinking coffee in the nearby sand with his finger, taking a picture of it as a keepsake.

◇ Spending quality time with [Y.N]? He convinced them to start painting each other with his favorite markers, and under the pretext of light fun, he drew orange hearts on their cheeks.

◇ It was all fun until there was an 'accident' during one of the previously mentioned activities.

◇ So, Mikey and [Y.N] were in his new room after Shredder's attack, and he needed help with some unique decoration.

◇ "Wait, isn't that a neon banner from the nearby store??" The teenager asked, pointing at the mentioned thing, peeking out from behind the boy.

"I neither confirm nor deny it!" Mikey laughed, shrugging his shoulders. "You have to admit it fits perfectly."

"Mhm, but I doubt you'll fall asleep with this," [Y.N] said skeptically, picking up one of the cardboard boxes that contained a surplus of notebook-like items. "Where does this go?"

"Oh! Just put it next to the cabinet; I'll put them in the drawers in a sec."

The human nodded, and as they took a few more steps, they tripped over the cables lying on the floor. they fell to the ground with a squeak, dropping the box less than half a meter in front of them.

"Are you okay??" The orange-loving enthusiast quickly ran to his friend, helping them get up as they groaned in pain.

"Yeah, I think so..." Their voice trailed off, surprising Mikey, who followed their gaze.

◇ His pupils immediately narrowed upon seeing an open sketchbook with many drawings and sketches of [Y.N], with a predominant theme of love.

"Mikey...?"

"IT'S NOTHING!" The teenager shouted, hastily picking up the sketchbook from the floor and pressing it against his plastron.

◇ Their faces both turned equally red with excessive thinking.

◇ Oops.

he would poke

idk but i imagine when the two of you were close friends, borderline dating, he’d ‘annoy’ you by poking your face, especially those chubby cheeks of yours

you would complain, batting his hands away, and as friends that was fine but when the two of you started dating it would hurt his feelings

“I can’t help it!” “You’re just too cute!” He’d repeat those excuses, not truly explaining the full meaning behind his repeated actions. And Leo would’ve never told you!

The two of you were dozed off during a movie marathon in the projector room. Laying in bean bags that were pressed together, Leo had made sure his was close to yours. He woke up first and as he turned to see your sleeping form his hands went out on their own accord.

Cupping your cheeks gently and his thumbs giving soft taps. He felt so happy when you snuggled your face further into his hands. So happy in fact that he couldn’t help it when he started poking those chubby cheeks

Your eyes snapped open, “Leo!” You grumped, wanting nothing more than to fall back asleep. His hands would freeze, his eyes widening, feeling badly about having gotten caught and your rejection as you batted his hands away once again.

He quickly got up, mumbling an excuse about getting something to eat. His immediate reaction had you sitting up, feeling guilty for having hurt his feelings you finally did a google search.

‘Why do turtles tap faces?’ Upon further research after being so utterly shocked at the initial results. You felt like a fool. You got up, blushing furiously as you rushed to the kitchen. Leo was faced away from you but he heard your approach and asked if you wanted something to eat as well. “We got leftover piz-

He stopped short as he felt your hands encase his face. Then hesitantly only out of nerves, you started to lightly tap his green cheeks. Leo was a churring mess, moving too fast so he could turn to see you. You pulled back and he was smiling brightly, face awaiting for you to continue your earlier actions

So you complied, hands going out once more and you tapped his cheeks, the smile Leo gave you practically blinded you. “You could’ve told me what this actually meant!” You complained, poking his cheeks in the same annoying way he would, but he’d just nuzzle his face into your touches

“Yeah I guess I could’ve,” he mused. He had been too embarrassed to just say it. That and he just wasn’t the type to admit the truth that easily. But if he had known your reaction would’ve been this he’d have spilled sooner. You smile and shake your head, stilling your hands and pulling him close to plant a sweet kiss to his snout.

Michelangelo

Mikey would squish your face in pure excitement. He’s just so happy, he can’t contain himself, he’s squishing your cheeks together.

He could be on the whole other side of the room, or not in the same space at all, but he’ll run through the lair, find you at random and squish your cheeks together squealing about something that excited him.

Definitely happens so much that you’ve accepted it at this point, you’ll see him barreling towards you (yes he’s tackled you to the ground a couple times when you weren’t prepared for him to jump you!) and accept your fate

You try to play it off sometimes like you’re annoyed but truthfully it’s just so cute and endearing, when he’s reallyyyyy happy or when the two of you are alone he’ll squish your cheeks together and peck your lips with a soft kiss. A flurry of them too, you’re not just getting one kiss

Many many swift kisses in rapid session, and let’s say he just won in a video game, the arcade room empty except for you two, he’ll give the room a quick scan before he’s on you

“Y/n!!!! I wonnn !! Hehe did ya see??” He squishes your cheeks together while he speaks and as soon as he’s done he’s kissing you before you can answer, you hadn’t seen him win, you were playing your own game but he didn’t need to know that

Once he parted you spoke though your speech sounded slightly off because he still had his hands cupping your face, squishing, “ ‘hat’s awesome Mikey” he’d blush, coming down from the excitement

It was like his thoughts would come after he took action, taking note of his hands and how his lips felt, he’d pull you closer, slower this time and giving you a breath-taking smooch

Only this time he had forgotten to glance around beforehand so he flinched as he heard the snap of a camera. “Oh don’t mind me lovebirds, just documenting for future-“ Leo stopped midway realizing Mikey was actually quite close all of the sudden

“Give that here!! Leo!!” Mikey yelled chasing after his older brother. Of course it had been Leo, laughter and yelling could be heard throughout the lair and you were sure everyone would be witnessing this spectacle, you chuckled strolling at a leisure pace after your orange clad turtle

Donatello

Donnie brushes you with his hand

It doesn’t happen often and when it happens it surprises Donnie the most out of the two of you

He’ll be overthinking or had gotten so overworked that Donnie will blink and suddenly you’re in front of him with worried eyes, your mouth moving but he doesn’t hear anything as his hands reach out as if by instinct and he’s brushing the back of his hand against your cheek

He’s blinking slowly and watching your expression soften as you gingerly do the same to him, giving him time to move away if he doesn’t want your touch. But this time he does want it, he’s exhausted honestly but as soon as he feels your fingers brushing against his green cheek he’s sighing

Like he’s expelling all the stress and worries he had minutes earlier, he’s leaning into your touch and it’s like his battery that was depleted is now recharging

He stays there, nuzzling his face into your hand as Donnie continues brushing or just holding your face close to his own. Once he’s charged though he’ll blink and suddenly remember himself, pulling back sharply and blushing a darker green

Coughing into his fist as you pull back, smirking at his embarrassed reaction, “How about we eat some pizza and you go to bed? Hmmm Donatello??” Teasing him no doubt but making sure he understands that it’s probably best to take a break from his projects

“Sure, sure.” Donnie’s standing stiffly, one hand coming up to cover another fit of embarrassed coughs as he swiftly leaves the lab, you follow him smiling to yourself as your own cheeks felt warm.

Raphael

Raph gives you light taps

He’s always treating you with an extra amount of care. He’d never forgive himself if he was the cause to your pain.

Raph isn’t as shy as he is with his feelings towards tapping you, but he is similar in a way that he doesn’t do it super often

If you’re around and the two of you aren’t alone he’ll probably hold himself back but if you are alone he likes greeting you with light taps to your cheek

He’ll be a blushing mess, eyes cast everywhere but at you and Raph will give you sweet gentle taps, he only makes eye contact when your hands cover his, giggling at his expression

“Still so shy even after all this time?” You quip and Raph gives you a bashful grin, “Only with this!” And he’ll kiss you easily to prove the point. He definitely isn’t shy about that which shocks you more since these cute taps don’t seem that embarrassing

How the Rise!Turts react when you fall asleep on their shoulder as friends! (platonic)

The thought process is that the two of you are watching Luo Jitsu movies, sitting on the couch in the lair, (ik there isn't one but pretend there is) okay trust.)) and you fall asleep on their shoulder! Simple enough.

Raph

Is the most unbothered.

When he feels your head hit his arm he’ll look over at you, see you're asleep, and then go right back to what he was doing.

Like I said, he's the most unbothered. Will let you rest until you wake up. And by god, he will try his hardest not to wake you up. Bc - “You're his friend, and he wouldn't be a good friend if he woke you up.”

Que anyone being a decimal louder than a whisper and he's giving them the “mom look” y’know that look you'd get to hush up? That one.

Gives the nastiest side eye if Leo walks too loud. Gives a mean stink eye if Donnie is messing around in the kitchen and Raph can hear him. (even if he can't see him Raph will burn holes into the nearest wall.) Hushes Mikey if hes loud.

You're waking up on your own accord with this dude watching over you.

Leo

Bro actually shoved you off of him as a first reaction because he didn't think your head touched his shoulder bc you were falling asleep. Even snickered until he turned and saw you staring at him like a dead man.

Immediately apologizes, (he's not sorry) and offers his shoulder. Probably says something silly before actually shutting up.

Like “I just know my shoulder is the comfiest pillow in the lair and that's why-” Then he gives some bull shit response that would have Shakespeare appalled by the use of vocabulary as to why his shoulder is such a delicacy to rest upon.

Is another one to give stink eyes at passersby.

He would probably end up waking you up tbh😭

He would be watching a Lou Jitsu movie and yell “HOT SOUP!” and throw his hands up in the air before remembering you were there. Keyword: were. Bc you are not sleeping through that shout and shake.

Donnie

Freezes at the touch and his face scrunches up before slowly turning towards you.

Lowkey this exact face, just a tad more exaggerated.

Would probably let you get away with it for a short period of time. Like I'm talking long enough for a power nap before he decides he's gonna wake you up.

Yes, he will wake you up himself.

Either tapping you with one of his mechanical arms until you do wake up or just standing up as fast as possible and letting you hit the couch like a sack of potatoes.

There's no in-between and it depends on his mood when deciding your treatment.

Mikey

Is either very aware of your head on his shoulder or doesn't notice like at all.

When he is aware, he tries his hardest to not move a centimeter in fear of waking you up. Bc “If you fell asleep on his shoulder then you must be tired!” is his thought process.

You're either gonna sleep soundly or get woken up after not even ten minutes. If he's aware you're asleep on his shoulder then you're sleeping soundly. Like a baby. But if not? It's a situation much like Leo’s.

Mikey can be very very loud. That's two verys. Now imagine your ear being near his mouth when he shouts- and I mean SHOUTS, along with Lou Jitsu on the screen. He puts his whole heart and soul into it too…

It's like waking up to a really loud alarm in the middle of the night.

He immediately apologizes and makes it up to you by cooking you whatever you want. It doesn't matter what it is, he will make it. That's how bad he feels.
