vanity outsold robron sorry not sorry

So, you made me spill my morning coffee! 😂 🤣

It took me a minute to understand what exactly you wanted to say anon, and that is on me.

Initially, I thought you meant that Emmerdale had been more unjust to Vanity fans than Robron fans. And to that, I have to say yes. 😢 The way they treated the ship, especially when their fans went to war defending the producers- I thought it was appalling and tone deaf.

For Robron fans, the actors left. So the show was limited in what they could do. They still picked the worst option, but ...at least they could put up a defense although it would be weaker than what Robert's lawyer put up in court to defend him.

Now, if you mean, that Vanity is more popular than Robron, which a few Vanity fans have spent their life proving, I wish you all the very best on your Quixotic quest! 👋 Robron have not been canon for about 4 years now and to this date, the show and the media take into account what the fans think, the show never misses a chance to invoke Robron sls or make Robert and Aaron references just to crank up viewership. Also, Danny and Ryan stay in touch off screen and make it a point to share some candid content.

Unfortunately, for you these things may not ring a bell because there aren't any parallels in ....you know what I mean! :)

Look, I don't want a whole thing about this ship vs that ship. We should retire this now because Robron are gone from the show and yes, Vanity might be reunited at some point in the future in the show- though given the current quality of sls, fans might have to work hard to like that sl. Both our ships had it good for while and I enjoyed the friendly banter. But as far as I am concerned, the current producers had other priorities and didn't care about the ship fanbase for whatever reason.

Last, but not least, thank you for sending an ask. I don't get many, so I like it when my inbox has asks. You have a nice day. But in the interest of my mh and everyone else's I am not going to answer any more Vanity asks.

Wedding one is the epitome of robron papering over the cracks because they just love each other so much the issues don’t matter (they do as we know). And wedding 2 is the perfect compliment in that they rebuilt separately, came back together and built on the foundation they made way back in 2014/15. Ugh their minds

Yes! 100% agree! I would love for them to take the time to build them together. Like, they both need to grow as individuals and work on their own issues in order for them to be able to go together. I do think that the show can do both at the same time? And I know I always make the comparison to Robert and Aaron, but that's because they're the only other couple I've ever really cared about that much, lol, but I remember so many people hating on 2017. But it was one of my most favorite times because that break up, which really was 7 months long, showcased Aaron's growth as a character, and eventually, Robert's own need to be a better person because he wanted to, which then led to them getting back together. I think EastEnders has the potential to write an even better reunion story imo and I do hope they take that opportunity.
